In this third installment from Glorious Way Church, Matthew 8 and 1 Peter 2:24 are explored to build a bold case that healing is not something believers are waiting to receive but something they have already been given through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Rooted in the truth that "by his stripes you were healed," listeners are challenged to shift from a posture of seeking to one of standing on what the covenant already provides. Drawing from Mark 16, believers are commissioned as agents of healing, equipped with a message, a mandate, and a ministry to bring the healing power of Jesus to a sick and hurting world. Every believer, regardless of title or platform, is called to rise up, lay hands on the sick, and trust God to confirm his word with signs following.

Opening Confession And Focus

Let's lift our Bibles up and wave them around, make Jesus. Let's say this together. Say, Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today. I'm not here by accident. I'm here by divine appointment. I have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to me today. I'm not listening for somebody else. I'm listening for me. And I'm not just going to hear it. I'm going to be a doer of it in Jesus' name. Amen. Praise

Healing Is Past Tense Truth

SPEAKER_00

God. Well, let's turn in our Bibles to Matthew and chapter 8. And also 1 Peter chapter 2. And I'm going to be giving you the third installment of this message healing, our covenant right. And Matthew chapter 8 is first. And then we'll go to 1 Peter 2.24. When the evening was come, they brought unto him many who were possessed with demons. And he cast out the spirits with his word, and he healed 49.7% of the people that were sick. Now he healed all that were sick, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying himself, bear our sickness and took our infirmities. I think I got it backwards. He bore our infirmities, took our sicknesses. Either way, it's already done. He can fulfill that verse. It's past tense. And just to let you know, and Peter got a hold of this, 1 Peter 2.24. And so important for us to understand the tenses when we're talking about healing. You know, the tenses matter. When you say, God's gonna heal me, then you know you're off. You've just uttered something that's not scriptural. Now God's not gonna do it. God has done it. We need to get these things straight. And uh 1 Peter chapter 2, who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sin should live under righteousness by whose stripes you were healed. Praise God. Everybody say, I was healed. See, we're healed people resisting sickness and disease. We're not we're not sick people trying to get something. Oh, I'm just trying to get my healing. No, Jesus got it for you. So we've been speaking about this healing, our covenant, right? Thank God we have a covenant with God. It's sealed with the blood of Jesus. I mean, we are in covenant relationship with Almighty God, El Shaddai, the God who's more than enough. He's bigger, big, he's bigger than any sickness or disease you face or might be facing. I mean, you go to the doctor and they lay out all of your uh diagnostics and they tell you all the things that they see and all the things that's their prognosis sometimes is pretty bleak. And uh, you know, we don't go by that, we go by the fact that we were healed. And everything that's in the natural is subject to change. And uh that covenant we have it includes healing. Thank God.

Act Like You Are Healed

SPEAKER_00

In Luke 5, 15, we see that Jesus healed a leprous man. He said, Go show yourself to the priest. What does that mean? It means that he was still leprous after Jesus prayed over him and laid his hands over him on him. He said, now go act like it basically go show yourself to the priest meant go act like you're healed. So, you know, sometimes we think Jesus did everything instantly, but this was a deal where as he went, he was healed. As he went, as he began to act like he was healed by going to the priest, what's he going to the priest for? He's got to show himself to the priest to be certified as clean. Otherwise, he's unclean. It doesn't matter whether he's he might have been healed, but until the priest pronounces you clean, then you're still unclean and you don't have the right to be around people. And so he basically, Jesus, he said, just go act like you're healed. And he did, and as he as he went, he was healed. And then the Bible says the fame of Jesus spread abroad so that they brought multitudes to come before him to hear and to be healed of their infirmities. See, they had to hear something. You know, Jesus went about teaching, preaching, and healing. He didn't just heal people with a wave of magic wand. It was, everybody say, teaching, preaching, preaching, and healing. See, it's so important that we understand that. And so we have to be strong in knowing our uh and appropriating our covenant. I mean, you've got to know something. That's why I teach and preach this. The more we teach and preach healing, the more healing we have. It's just like Jesus. The more he did it, the more he had. The more people came to hear it. I want to hear what they heard. Tell us all about it. See, they're Jews. They didn't know anything about their covenant. Because the priests were backslidden. The priests weren't, there weren't no teaching priests, they weren't doing their job. So Jesus had to bring them into the Bible knowledge of what they had through the old covenant. Well, we've got a better covenant found upon better promises. Hebrews 8, 6. I mean, if they had healing, how much more should we have and bear the stamp of healing and prosperity? That's another thing we we discovered. You know, there in Psalm 105 it talks about how, or Psalm 107 rather, uh, 105, verse 37, it says how God uh brought the uh Jews out from Egypt uh with silver and gold. And there was not one feeble among their tribe. Not one feeble. You think about 400 years of slavery, surely somebody's lame. Surely somebody dropped a stone on their foot, surely somebody broke a leg. Surely somebody, you know, wore out a hip. And not one feeble, not one out of three million was limping. I mean, they're walking, they're walking like an army, marching out of Egypt and go on their way to the promised land. See, they bore the mark, the hallmark, the stamp of healing and prosperity. Again, that's old covenant. How much more should the church bear that same stamp, and even more so? So Jesus fulfilled Isaiah 53, 4. Both of these verses we read reference Isaiah 53, 4. So Jesus was fulfilling what the prophet Isaiah prophesied. And every time that we get healed, and every time we dispense healing, I'm gonna talk about that in a little bit. See, we ought to be in the healing dispense, we ought to be the dispenser of healing. Every believer, not just somebody on TV, not just some big preacher. It's every believer. Every believer has that ability. And so uh every time that someone gets healed, whether it's you or somebody else, Isaiah 53:4 gets fulfilled all or all over again. It's a fulfillment over and over and over.

Believers As Agents Of Healing

SPEAKER_00

So today I want to talk about this subject: believers, agents of healing. And so let's look at Mark chapter 16. Everybody say believers. Agents of healing. Say agents of healing. See, I like to use that word agent. We can kind of relate to an agent. If you have a real estate agent, what does an agent do? Well, he represents you when you're buying or selling real estate. We're agents of healing. We represent God in the healing area. I'm gonna make a Bible case for it. So here in Mark chapter 16, this is right before he's risen to be with the Father. This is the end of his 40 days that he spent on the earth after the resurrection. This is the last thing. See, I love the fact that the gospels tell different perspectives of the same idea. You didn't get this from Luke, you didn't get this from Matthew, you got it from Mark. Mark wrote about this particular thing that Jesus said right before he left. And he said to them, Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. And he that believeth not shall be damned or condemned. And these signs shall follow the apostles in the first century A.D. And after that it's going to pass away. No, it says, these signs shall follow them that believe. Everybody say, them that believe. I mean, signs should follow or accompany you everywhere you go. Ought to be standing right next to you, ready to prove what you're saying is true. These signs shall follow them that believe. In my name. See, we don't do it in our name. We don't do it in the name of a church, we don't do it in the name of our, you know, business card or in the main or some false uh religious thing like apostle so-and-so and prophet so-and-so. I see a lot of people with their with their titles on their business card. They don't even, they're not, I don't even know what planet they're from. Anyway, in my name shall they cast out demons. They shall speak with new tongues. I mean, you need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. See, this is where he's telling people, be baptized with the Holy Ghost. That's what he said in Luke. Don't leave home without the Holy Ghost. You need the Holy Ghost, you need the infilling of power. Speak with new tongues. Uh, in my name, they cast out demons, speak with new tongues. They shall take up servants. How many of you know he's not talking about snake handling? Drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt you. He's not saying that you ought to test God by drinking strychnine. He's talking about getting the devil out of the way so that you can preach the gospel to people. The devil will hinder you. When you get a hold of the believer's ministry and begin to function in it, the devil will fight you tooth and toenail. As they used to say down in Riferio. And so he'll fight you. He'll fight you and try to get you moved off of that, condemn you, and say, Well, you're not healed. What makes you think you can get anybody else here? See, he'll bring everything, all your little anything that you've got going. Listen, if I waited to feel 100%, I never would have laid my hands on anybody to begin with. And we're we're battling things all the time. And uh, you know, I just resist it. I resist sickness and disease. I mean, it tried. We talked about your body. Your body wants to be sick. That's its default position of the human body is sick. Uh, our Robert F. Kennedy, I mean, he's he's what at the Department of Whatever He is, and he said, we're the sickest, the sickest nation on earth. I mean, we're sicker than all, you know, why? Well, because we've turned our agricultural over to these chemists and these big corporations, and they've ruined our crops, they've ruined the soil, they they've filled it full of pesticides and carcinogens, and and plus the people, you know, they had the food pyramid was was completely wrong. For years. They said, oh, don't, I even now, I mean, I if I I don't like going to the hospital. If I have to stay in the hospital, guess what they give me? They give me the heart-healthy diet, which means it tastes like garbage, no salt. That's not even, that's not right. You ought to have salt. God said, salt. Salt your salt, salt it, salt your food. He gave it to us to make it have some flavor, preservative. If salt would kill you, nobody would have lived back in the frontier days. My my grandmother used to salt a whole hog. I mean, they'd kill a hog and she'd salt that thing down and store it in a barrel kind of underneath her house. It wasn't even a remote cellar, really, just kind of a hole. And it was part underground and part above ground, and it would stay in the wintertime, and then they'd pull that hog out and and they'd have food. You know, it was a preservative. Are you with me now? So uh your body wants to get sick, but it's up to you to stop it from getting sick. So in Mark 16, and then the very last one it says, These signs shall follow them and believe, they shall lay hands on the sick. Again, in Jesus' name, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Notice it said the sick. It didn't say the Christian sick, it didn't say the saved sick. It just said the sick. I mean, can you imagine the sick? So your potential audience, if you're dispensing healing, that Jesus said we should do, believers should do it, then you have an inexhaustible supply of people that need healing. I mean, everywhere you go in your life, you find people that need healing. I mean, it's just almost every day you're gonna you're gonna run across somebody that's got some kind of ailment. Are they are they candidates for your ministry to maybe you lay your hands on them and get them healed? Amen. So uh the the uh literal Greek said, hands they shall lay, healed they shall be. So this is the scriptural uh help that God gives us. They went everywhere. See, let's keep reading after after he told them what to do and read. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth. See, they obeyed the command to go. They went forth where? Everywhere. They went everywhere, not at once. You can't go everywhere at once, but you they went in their world, they went everywhere. The Lord working with them and confirming the word with signs following, confirming the word with signs following.

Healing Fuels Revival And Faith

SPEAKER_00

So uh, you know, I I I believe that that's the best way. I mean, Raymond T. Ritchie, a pastor of Evangelistic Temple, Great Assembly of God Church, that was here for many decades here in the city. A lot of people said that Brother Osteen had a very similar anointing to Raymond T. Ritchie, but he was uh a powerful man of God and he said, healing is God's dinner bell. I mean, when you start getting people healed, they come running, and just like they did in the Bible, I mean, that multitudes came to hear and to be healed. I mean, you get one person healed and you might have a crowd on your hands. I mean, because it just people they they don't necessarily gravitate to somebody that can argue the point. It's called apologetics, and I guess it's got a place. I just never have seen it. I mean, Paul tried it in Athens. I bet that's the only place Paul did it. He he came across people in Athens and he just couldn't help himself. He kind of sat out there and started talking about the they had they had a sign that says to the unknown God, or the God that you ignorantly worship. Here, I'm gonna declare him to you. He's real. And he started witnessing to him. And the apologetics is trying to win win people over by logic. And in using the word, Charlie Kirk is a perfect example of that. And we know what happened to him, he was assassinated. And I hate that. But why, you know, if he could have, if he could have done this this way, I mean, what if he got out on the college campus and cast the devil out of unclean spirits out of these young people? They're addiction addicted to drugs off of these people. What if he was able to do signs and wonders and miracles then? You know, it takes all the argument out of the way. I mean, you can you can win the argument and lose the battle. I mean, tell you, listen, it it's not about all the fancy words that you speak. It's it's what God, what God shows up and confirms what you just said. I'm not critical of Charlie Kirk. I I admire the guy, but I'm just saying that's not the way for revival. That is not revival. Revival, you can't take the healing and deliverance out of revival. You cannot do it. Don't don't settle for a bunch of preaching, don't settle for a bunch of big meetings and worship conferences. That's not what it's all about. It's about the local church rising up like I'm talking about, and everybody taking responsibility. It's your responsibility. Because he this this went to you. It didn't just go to the apostles, it didn't just go to me, it went to you, that command to go. So, uh, boy, you get anything out of that? I'm getting revved up here. Praise God. So they went forth and they obeyed the command to go, the Lord working with them and confirming. In Luke 4 18, Jesus was anointed and sent. He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He's anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. See, what's the good news? You don't have to be poor no more. You know, not suffer for Jesus. The nuns, when I grew up Catholic, went to Catholic school for eight years, and they used to say, Well, just offer it up to the Lord. If you're suffering, you know, if you're broke or you're sorry, just offer it up to the Lord. Why would I own an offer it up to the Lord? He took it already. What is he gonna do with it? He or he took it away. I mean, why do I have to offer, you know, in other words, just keep suffering and somehow God gets glory out of your suffering? No, he doesn't. He doesn't get any glory out of you being sick and broke. The good news is you don't have to be sick and you don't have to be broke. And he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. I'll tell you, people that are brokenhearted many times are the ones that have just got the report from the doctor that says, Well, it's nothing we can do, you might as well just go to hospice. Here's my prescription for hospice. And that's it. And what's hospice? Well, it's the place where they prepare you to the end of life, care is what it is. And really, it it's the kind of care that, yes, it's designed to take pain from you, but it's also designed to hasten your departure. Are y'all with me now? But God said we we have healing in our covenant. See, you talk about brokenhearted, Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted. You don't have to go, you don't have to go to hospice, you don't have to go to heaven early. You can get you can get your healing, no matter what the doctor said. So uh so then when he left, see, God anointed us. We have an anointing, every one of us. It's called the believer's anointing. Jesus was anointed, he said, but the works that I do shall you do also in greater works than you shall you do, because I'm going to my Father. He did, he went to his father, and get what did he do? He sent the Holy Ghost, he sent the anointing upon the church of Jesus Christ. How many of you members of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ? Yeah if you're born again, you're members of the church. And then you're anointed then to dispense healing. You're anointed to get rid of the devil and break his power over people. Sometimes you've got to break the power of the devil over people to get them to see. You're blinded. And so we have to believe in the believer's anointing. If you don't believe in it, then you won't ever function in it. You'll always stand on the sideline, you'll always be in the grandstands watching the game, rooting the team on. Oh, yeah, go, go, go, Pastor, go so and so, go. No, get in the game yourself. No, get in the game. Well, you know, Pastor, I tried this. I didn't tell you to try it. I told you to do it. You don't try it. You do it. See, when you know that you're a believer and that you're anointed, you know, to lay your hands on the sick person. In fact, really, you're not even anointed. Really, it's just a matter of acting on the word, to be honest with you. It doesn't mean that you have to have a special anointing for healing. Some people have that. Gladys has that. It's kind of waned the last few years through all the stuff that she's been through. But in 1988, God manifested Himself. I mean, it was an amazing thing. She put healing in her hands. I mean, her hands turned dark purple in a meeting with Billy Brim. It was amazing. And I was there. I watched the whole thing, and her hands were burning like coals of fire. And every time, you know, we'd minister together. I mean, I'd preach and her hands would start burning, and I mean people got healed. That's that's a different and that's a different story. That's not the believer's anointing, that's a different gifting. But I you don't have to have that to lay your hands on sick people. You just act on the word. The word says to do it. And he'll show up and confirm it with you. So we have to believe in the believer's anointing. You know, if you've tried it and you didn't, you know, I like what Wayne Gretzky, he's a Hall of Fame hockey player, he said, 100% of the shots, we miss 100 of the shots that we don't make. We miss 100% of the shots we don't make. So if you don't make the shot, you missed it. So if you don't lay your hands on the sick, they don't get healed. And you can say, well, I just I've never seen anybody. How many people have you laid hands on? Well, one or two. Well, that how about when you've laid your hands on a thousand people, come back and tell me. Because you don't always get to know the results of your of your laying on of hands. Many times in the day, I mean, you just come across, I don't know how many waiters and waitresses I've prayed over. I don't know how many strangers, and it just I encounter somewhere and I just touch them and and very simply, you know, talk to them a little bit and and put my hand on them. I don't never, I don't ever go back around, know what happened. I just trust, see, I'm doing my part. God's gonna do his part. We just sang about it, how faithful he is. He listen, if we do our part, he's faithful to do his part. I like the story that one of the at her homegoing, I heard about uh Dodie, Doty's homegoing service a few months ago. She went to heaven, and her grandson, one of her grandsons, had gone with her to the uh where they had the COVID uh back in the days of COVID, they had this clinic out there. I think it was like at uh where they had the rodeo. They had this big clinic, and you know, a bunch of people out there come into the clinic for COVID, and she'd go out there and pray for the sick. She'd I mean she loved to lay her hands on the sick. And she would talk to them and then she'd lay her hands on them, and and and and so the grandson was telling this testimony. He says, Well, grandmommy, he says, uh, what if what if a person doesn't get healed? And she's so, oh, you sound like you've got it mixed up. See, you've got the job mixed up. My job is to lay hands on them, and God's job is to heal them. It's so simple, see. It's just that simple. I mean, can you get yourself out of the way? I mean, can you get your pride out of the way? I mean, if you do what you do, God will always do what he does. Else he lied and he didn't lie, did he? No, he can't lie.

Praise God.

Your Message Mandate And Ministry

SPEAKER_00

So, our covenant responsibility is what I want to talk about. Three truths about the covenant of healing, and it has to do with our responsibility. It's good to, it's good to have the blessing of healing, and we receive our healing, but also today I want to major on how important it is for us to occupy the believer's anointing. And so, the first thing, I've got I've got three things. We have a message, we have a mandate, and we have a ministry. Everybody say message, mandate, ministry. So, what's the message? Well, it's the gospel. Good news. And uh you preach the gospel. Jesus said he's anointed me to preach. Somebody said, Oh, I can't preach. I'm not a preacher. Well, I'm not talking about preaching like I'm preaching and teaching this morning. I'm talking about informing, I'm talking about just declaring to people. You don't have to preach like stand behind a pulpit and spit like I do. Poor people up here on the front row, I don't know whether they endure it or whether they like it. I'm not sure what which it is. They like to be spit on or they endure it on it. But anyway, that's why I have this right here. Uh so it means preach means to announce, to report, to inform. See, that it that takes all the pressure. You don't have to have an anointing to preach, call to preach. No, you're called into the believer's ministry. You have the equipment, you have a mouth. That's all it takes, is a mouth. And so you could say this to a person you know, you don't have to be sick anymore. Jesus loves you and he wants you well. That statement, that that that little two sentences right there did preaching, teaching, and it set them up to be eligible. And most people would take you up on it. Would you like me to lay my hands on you in Jesus' name and believe with you for healing? So you just you just proclaim the truth to them, preach, then you taught them Jesus wants you well, and now they're right for your hands to get laid on them, and then that gives them a little bit more, they buy in just a little bit. They can have just a little bit of faith to add with your faith. I've I've listened I've I've laid hands on people that didn't have any faith, and I got them healed on my faith. But it's always better to come back and do what Jesus did. He preached and he taught, and then he healed. He he everybody say preaching, teaching, and healing. Well, see, preaching and teaching is what I'm doing this morning. You say, I can't do that. I'm not calling. Well, I'm not, I'm giving you the simple things. You don't have you've got the words, you've got the truth to tell people. You inform them. And then you tell them how Jesus loves them and wants them well. Man, that just to for some people to hear that, there's something about that truth that goes into them and it just breaks off this resistance. You know, Brother Hagin uh talked about the fact that from 1950 to 1959, Jesus appeared to him eight times. And uh he would spend as long as an hour and a half talking to Brother Hagin. And so one time he was ministering to Brother Hagin, and he said, you know, if I ministered the way that some think I did, when I came to my hometown Nazareth, and I just healed a few and I got run out of town, instead of doing that, I would have come to Nazareth and I would have gotten six totally blind people, six totally deaf people, six paralyzed people, and make sure they're certified by the local rabbi. I would have lined them all up and got them all healed to prove that I was the Messiah. But I didn't minister that way, and I don't expect you to minister that way. My ministry consisted of preaching, teaching, and healing. And those that didn't receive the preaching and didn't receive the teaching didn't receive the healing. But we have imagined that they did. See, a lot of people just misinformed. They just, they don't even know how it works. I'm telling you this morning, the key to each one of you there's nobody in this room that's excluded. I don't care what little you know or great amount you know, you know enough. If you know Jesus, you will know enough to lay your hands on people and see results. Praise God. Hallelujah. Everybody say, I've got a message. Oh, I mean, I've I've you know, I've given this message all these 40-some odd years, 45 years almost. And just it's amazing what people, I mean, they just it just changes their look on their face. You can tell when it penetrates. Have I got a hundred percent uh uh result? Of course not. Of course I don't have a hundred percent result. Jesus didn't have a hundred percent results. I mean, he appeared to over 500 people after the resurrection, and only 120 showed up at the upper room. He had 24%. You think you're gonna do better than him? Well, you probably not, but I'm telling you, if we don't do anything, we're bound to fail. All right. So we got a message. Number two, we got a mandate. What's the mandate?

unknown

Go.

SPEAKER_00

Now you don't have to go like I did. I mean, I've been all over the world. I mean, I've I've you know I've taken these trips, 40 hours of flying. In one week's time, I'm flying for 40 of those hours there and back to Asia or somewhere. That's 40 hours out of a week. That's a that's when most people work. I'm flying for 40 hours. Then when I get there, I'm teaching and preaching. And when I and before I leave, I'm teaching and preaching here, and when I get back, I'm teaching and preaching here. As a matter of fact, I'm leading worship on top of that when I get back here. And when I so I mean, you know, I it's not a vacation. So, yes, I've gone and I've been done all that thing, but you know, what he talks to you, you don't have to go where I went. You don't have to go to the Philippines, you don't have to go to India, you don't have to go to Africa, go to your family, you can go to your neighborhood, you can go to your workplace, you can, you can go to the restaurant, you can go, you can go anywhere and find sick people that you can minister to. Go. Rise up from where you are and go where they are. I mean, you know, it's good. I tell you what, go get involved with visiting people in the hospital. You can you can really get used that way. People in the hospital, they need help. I mean, you know, the Methodist hospital, they've got chaplains and they were sweet people, but they don't have they don't have a background in this word. And they've got some people not even saved, and they're chaplains. They're coming back with new age or they're coming back with Islam or something. I mean, I don't even why do they even bother, you know, praying for healing if they're Islamic, but anyway. Because they believe that we ought to die. Death to the infidel. That's what they really, if they really in the Quran, that's what the Quran teaches. No, we, you know, we can visit people. Everybody say, I've got a mandate. And then finally, you have a ministry. You have a ministry. See, God Jesus gave it to you. He said, These signs shall follow the believer. Everybody say, I'm a believer. I've got signs that accompany me when I tell about God. When I give my testimony. You don't even have to give your testimony. I mean, really, you might that might be too much for somebody to listen to. I mean, if you spend 30 minutes talking to somebody, you probably overstayed your welcome. I mean, we live in a society that's high pressure, they're going someplace all the time. You can't take a whole lot of time about all you've got time for is, oh, I see you're sick. Did you know Jesus loves you and wants you well? Would you mind if I pray over you right now, lay my hands on you? And they go, well, okay. Or they're not gonna say no. They might, but they might not. And what if they say yes? Well then what are you gonna do? Are you gonna go bam like that? I saw Brother Shambok at Lakewood. I mean, he he liked to he didn't lay hands on you, he hit you in the forehead with his big old hand. Bam! And there was this big woman, and she had to weigh 600 pounds. She came off that television program, you know, the thousand-pound sisters or whatever it was, and she was gigantic. I mean, I, you know, huge. And she's standing there, and I mean, I said, Oh no, don't do this, don't do it. I felt so bad for the catchers. There ain't no way to catch. Forget that. I mean, you'd have to be a sumo wrestler to catch her. I mean, that's and he went, in the name of Jesus, be healed. You're loose to you know, and bam, you know, hit her right in the forehead. She never did fall. Thank God she knew better than to fall. She just kind of like a bowling ball. She went through the first row, and of course the chairs are anchored. There's nowhere for the chairs to go. You don't have to do that. You can just touch somebody on the shoulder, on the hand. You know, if it's a woman and I'm a man, I'll I might touch her on the on the hand. I'd waitress one time at uh P. F. Chang's. I mean, she had, so I just, I don't know, I had an unction. She had a brace on her arm, so I asked about it. I said, Would you mind if a brace? Oh, I'd I'd like that. I said, put your hand down here. And so we're in a restaurant. I mean, I can't embarrass her. I didn't want, so I just kind of laid my hand on top of her hand, just like that, my fingers on top of her hand, and said, In the name of Jesus, I release healing power to go into your body in Jesus' name. She said, Well, thank you. Just like that. Didn't attract attention. Nobody knew. Nobody is embarrassed. Are you with me now? We have a ministry. I was having a new roof put on my house a number of years ago, and big old crew came out and uh was crawling all over my roof, and they're putting the shingles up there out of the stack in the yard and hauling them up the ladder and putting them up there and getting started, putting, putting all the, you know, getting it all started. And so the foreman, a guy came by and his pickup and rang my doorbell, introduced himself. He said, I'm no, I'm the foreman of this job. I'm gonna be overseeing it, so you just let me know if you see anything it you know don't like or whatever, you see anything you have questions about. I said, Well, thank you. I said, Hey, no, I see you got an arm in a sling. What's wrong? See, I just I just went there. He's his arm is in a sling and he's talking about being a roofer, and he's about to climb up on my roof with one hand. It's a steep roof. I said, I said, You going up on the roof? Oh, yeah, I got to go up on the roof. I said, With that with your arm and a sling? We said, Well, I probably could take it out, but it's pretty sore right now. I said, Well, I just hate to see you get up on my roof. It's a steep roof. Would you mind if I prayed for you? I'm a pastor, I believe in healing. Would you let me lay your hand my hands on you in Jesus' name? I believe he'll heal you. And he went, uh. Okay. Yeah, see. So I mean, standing in my driveway, I just laid my hands on him, and Jesus and that very simple. And, you know, and he took the thing off, went up on the roof, you know, didn't say anything to me. The next day he showed up, he didn't have the sling on. And I said, Hey, Noah, what happened to that sling? He said, Oh, my shoulder feels fine now. See, but he didn't, you know, he didn't, he didn't, he didn't, he wasn't happy like God did it. You see, a lot of times people are so lost that they can they can receive something so supernatural and yet not give God credit. I mean, if that was me, I'd been shouting and glorifying God. Well, you can't expect that from lost people. He's probably lost. See, that's the other thing. A lot of times when you get people healed, now they're time, now it's time for them. Sometimes they'll get saved right behind that. Or they get baptized in the Holy Ghost. Are y'all getting this? Everybody say, I've got a ministry. So your job is to have a word life and a prayer life and stay full of the Holy Ghost and be willing. You know, before you leave the house every day, you ought to just say, Lord, just use me today. I'm your vessel. If there's anybody that needs anything that I've got, I want to give it to them. I want to give them healing, I want to give them uh uh the gospel, I want to give them encouragement. I, you know, sometimes people just need encouragement. Can you give that out? And if the more that you obey compassion, the more you obey getting involved with people's troubles besides your own. I mean, so we can get so selfish and just turn inward and we can just talk about us, me, my four, and no more, and my babies and my children and my grandchildren, and we forget about everybody else that doesn't know what we know. Hey, let's let's turn out and let's find the people out there and let them find us and let God use you in the believer's ministry. Hallelujah.

Commitment Confession And Send Off

Healing our covenant right. Come on, let's lift our hands right now. Praise God. How many of you are willing to fulfill your covenant responsibility? See, that's what it means. I mean, basically, are you ready to own that responsibility? See? Because if you are, then God will take you up on it. If you're not, you're gonna still sit in the side line uh in the in the stands on the sidelines and cheer everybody on for the game. Well, you can do that too, but I believe the revival that's coming, as I said earlier, is coming from the local church. I believe disciples such as yourselves are gonna rise up and you're gonna go into your world and you're gonna make such a stir, you're gonna make such an impact that the fame of Jesus is gonna spread abroad, and people are gonna come from the north, the south, the east, and the west to hear and to be healed of their infirmities. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Do y'all believe that? Well, let's stand up and have a good confession this morning. I didn't write this one down, it's just gonna come out of my spirit, but let's lift our hand to heaven and let's make this confession. You know, let's, you know, Jesus is listening to every word you're saying. He's gonna hold, he's gonna hold you accountable. Say, Father, I've heard the word this morning, and I'm more than just a hearer, I'm a doer of the word, and I believe in the believer's ministry. I am a believer. I have a message, I have a mandate, I have a ministry. Father, use me, use me to help people, use me to get people healed and delivered and encouraged and set free. Use me to reap the harvest, this end time harvest, and I'll do my part, and Father, I know you'll do your part in Jesus' name.
