Welcome And Opening Prayer
SPEAKER_00Praise God. Let's bend down and and uh get our Bibles and lift them up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad. Say, Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today with people who smell good. I mean, we have a fragrance of life in the building. Reminds us that we're saved, that we're people of destiny, people of victory. It's because of Jesus. And we're going to hear testimony today. And Lord, we're going to be spurred to do greater things. In Jesus' name. Amen. Some of you looked at me funny, but you were should have been here earlier because I explained myself on it. Clearing my voice. Let's turn in Ephesians chapter 3, please. I want to read out of Ephesians today for our foundation scripture. Verse 14. And Paul is, this is one of the Holy Ghost prayers I pray every day over myself. Sometimes I pray it over other folks. And uh he says in verse 14, For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now, unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. I want to circle back around and read verse 20 in the amplified. Now to him who by and in consequence of the action of his power that is at work within us is able to carry out his purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams. To him be glory in the church throughout all ages. World without endometri. Hallelujah. Boy, doesn't that just set you on fire to see the true meaning of the Greek? And so today I wanted to share a message entitled Believing God for Great Things. Believing God for Great Things. You know, God is not here to do a little thing. He's not here to do a little bit. He did a great thing in Jesus. The blood of Jesus did a great thing. It's doing a great thing. God's mighty power is at work in us to do great things, not just to do little things, not just to do no ordinary things, no superabundant above what we could ever even dare to dream of or even dare to ask for. According to that power that works in us. So here in 2026, we're almost halfway through this year already. It just flies by. We got Revelation 21, 5. Thank God for all of you that took my advice. I think everybody took my advice. I said, sow a seed in honor of the new things. And show God that you're serious about apprehending what's new for you. Letting go of the old, letting go of the things that are not profitable any longer. Maybe they were profitable before, but now God's got something new for you to do. God's got something new, new door, new, new, new places to go. And so we need to find out what those are. So sow a seed. Sow a seed to prove to God that you love him and prove to God that you believe him. And sow that seed. And I and some man, I mean, we you've sown the seed. Over$100,000 has come in. From you. Yeah. And so I wasn't planning on saying any of that, but I wanted to congratulate you because that tells me that this church is serious about receiving what God has for them. And it's not just a little bit. No, God doesn't do a little bit. He does a whole bunch of stuff, exceeding abundantly above. Amen. And so, yeah, we're we're we're we're in a world that's shaking. There's all kinds of uh trouble. Even in our own nation, people are divided, families are divided. Didn't you know what Jesus said? Jesus said that was going to happen in the last days. Well, guess what? It's the last days. And we're living in those days that Jesus talked about. And so we can't be totally surprised that you know that people are lost. And well, you know, there's an opportunity. When I see people that are lost, there's an opportunity to get them saved. So we don't we can talk about them being lost, but hey, let's talk about the opportunity. And there's a great opportunity for and revivalists among our new young people. I mean, college students are getting baptized, they're getting saved. I pray that they get hooked up with a local church because let me tell you, they'll perish if they don't. If they don't have a solid pastor to speak into their lives and feed them the word of God, it'll just be a wonderful experience, and then they'll just go, you know, because it's just a it's it's not the way God, you know, God didn't build his church with revivals like like one revival. He was all the time. It was a, it was a it was growing and growing and growing. Are you with me now? So uh this generation, I believe we're the generation that's supposed to do the greater works. Jesus said in John 14, He said, He said, The works that I do shall you do also, and greater works than these shall you do because I go unto my Father. And so just think about the miracles that Jesus did. I mean, Jesus wasn't just a preacher, He He worked miracles. He can his word was confirmed by those miracles. You know, I was reading in John 15 recently, and uh he said, you know, if I hadn't done these works that I've done, then uh in front of them, then you know, they should have believed it. Now they have no excuse. They have no excuse for their unbelief. Miracles remove excuses for unbelief. You know, we can we can speak the word, we can talk the word, we can even preach the word, but without miracles, you know, we have to confront people have to. I was confronted with miracles. That's why I got saved. I don't think I ever would have been saved if I was looking back as a Catholic. You know, Catholics believe in miracles, but they all happened a hundred years ago. Our Lady of Fatima, Fatima, Fatima, you know, all this Lady of Fatima, usually about Mary. Well, Mary's not the healer, Jesus is the healer. And so, you know, but Catholics believe in miracles, but again, they need a miracle because they've got a terrible pope again, two and two in a row. But anyway, look, miracles are are are needed. The church should be, uh should have, we're gonna hear about some miracles, different kinds of miracles today. And uh a lot of miracles are are come by faith and they're gradual. And then there's the working of miracles, which is right now. And the church ought to be sparkling with those so that this generation would not have no excuse to stay unsaved. They have no excuse. You know, uh, so God wants to break the mold, so to speak, with this generation. He wants us to do the exceeding abundantly above works, he wants us to do the greater works, the works that make people go, wow. That the works that attract people. You know, uh one one preacher once said that that healing is God's dinner bell. And we don't we don't relate to dinner bells anymore, but back in the on the ranch, I mean, you know, when it was lunchtime, the cook would run would ring the triangle, bing, ding, ding, ding, and then they'd come from the furthest way because they knew that that lunch was served. They got beans and biscuits and whatever else the cook had come up with. Armadilla or whatever. And uh when you're hungry, you'll eat anything. And uh, and that's the way it is with healing. Healing attracts a crowd. It always did with Jesus, it attracts people, it brings people in. I tell you, we need to be thinking about the greater works. We need to believe God for great things. I believe we're made like that. You know, in the natural, there's barriers that have always existed. I guess one of the barriers was, you know, a man has always wanted to fly. As long as he could see the birds, he always wanted to be like a bird. He didn't want to be a bird brain, but he wanted to be able to fly. And uh and he couldn't fly. He's not built to fly. And all the, and they have these contraptions that they invented, you know, and tried to fly and they didn't fly. And finally in 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright uh actually, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, actually flew. They only flew 100 feet. You wouldn't be what a big deal, 100 feet. But they flew in this in this plane, it's contraption, held together with baling wire and duct tape, I guess. I mean, it's it's it doesn't look like it could possibly fly, but it did 100 feet. And uh, and out of that, you know, by by 15 years later during World War I, they had these planes that were doing warfare. They they developed the the flight to such a div uh such a div uh uh such a degree that military uh bite could be displayed with airplanes, and it kept growing and growing until in 1969 we put a man on the moon. I hope you watched the Artemis uh last week, the week before, but I watched the launch and the and the and the splashdown. I I was so thrilled to see that we've gotten a person in the White House that's got a vision for the outer space. We needed, we've been, we've been just, we've been fiddle faddling around while our enemies are developing war heads that's gonna be uh all over in the outer space. We need to get back our brain again and let's let's let's stimulate what God put in this nation, which is more than just science, it's God. God wants us to break the limits. They went further than anybody's ever gone from the earth. They went all the way around the back side of the moon and came back. They broke a record. I said they broke a record. And see, there's something in man that God put in every one of us, whether we're lost or saved, we want to break through the mold. We want to break through and do something greater. It's just in there. It's just in there. And I want to wake that up to in you today in case it's gone to sleep. But, you know, there's all kind of, you know, like Mount Everest. They tried to climb Mount Everest, you know, and and uh in the Himalayas, and people died, died, died trying to do it. Finally in 1953, Sir Hubman and Hillary actually did it. And once he actually did it, then lots of people, not lots of people, but numbers of people, they still go up to the summit. Some of them still die, too, on the way up because it is it's a tough climb. There's no there's no oxygen up there, you know. And you can die easily. And of course, the the temperatures are brutal, the storms are brutal. But uh the experience, from what I've understood, is just almost mystical, which is what drives humanity to do things like go around the moon and come back and splash down the Pacific. I mean, it's amazing, really, when you think about it. Uh four-minute mile, you know. We in my generation, we didn't run 400 meters, we didn't run 5,000 meters, we ran yards. I wish we could take back yards and inches. You know, that's European. You know, the Europeans are a bunch of losers. Let's get back the inches and the miles per hour and the kilometers. I mean, come on, I can't think about a kilometer. Okay, that didn't make any sense to me. But anyway, back in the day, we had the mile run. It was four laps around the track. And nobody had broken four minutes. I mean, everybody, 406, 410, 415. Finally, uh, this guy uh in 55, 1955, ran below four minutes, John Barrister. Once he did that, lots of people did. My roommate at AM, my classmate at Rafirio High School, uh, was a distance runner in in high school. And uh, I think one time he won state at 406, and he's just a just a you know, 18-year-old senior in high school. So that's how close he came, just just as a young amateur. Think about somebody that's professional. See, it was a barrier that got broken. And so we've been we've been uh set at this time right here to break through the barriers, to break through uh the limitations. You know, Brother Hagin gives the testimony because as his ministry grew, you know, his faith had to grow for the uh financial supply to fuel what God had put in his heart to do. And when he opened Rhema Bible Training Center, which is now a Rhema Bible school, it's an accredited four-year school now, I think. Is it four years yet or three? I think they were going to four. But um, but when he when God put that in his heart to do, I mean, it took a lot of money. And then, of course, from Rhema, I mean, you've got preachers all over the world. You've got churches and ministries all over the world. Every continent has got a Rhema Bible training center. I mean, they've got a they've got a Rhema Bible training center in China. Underground. Underground. Not gonna say any more, but I mean, look, they uh they're all over. But it took money, and he was believing God for a million-dollar gift. Uh God, I just call that million dollars. I know there's somebody out there that believes in this ministry and believes in this work that'll give a million dollars. And finally, I mean, it finally happened. It took years for that to happen. And once it happened, it broke through and it started happening over and over again. I tell you, this church is breaking through every barrier. We're taking all limits off God. Amen. Now let's look at Psalm 78. We sang that song this morning about remembering and remembering what God, God has been so good, so, so, so, so, so, so good. And Israel is an example to us, Psalm 78, because they did forget. They didn't remind themselves every day when they woke up how good God was. They just didn't. They just, you know, bless their little hearts and stupid heads. They were ungrateful. I mean, that's let's face it. I mean, it's written in here, so it will, you know, we'll understand what they did and why not make the same mistake. Now, you might be going through fire today. You might be good, might be everything coming unglue. Well, you know, God's been good to you. So start thinking about all the good things he has done instead of majoring on what you're going through because God didn't send that anyway. He's worthy of praise no matter what we're going through. But they they just they just they took for granted all of his works that he did to get them delivered out of Egypt. Think about how huge a problem that was. I mean, you've got a regime not unlike the Ayatollah. You didn't have B-2 bombers to take out all their navy and all their everything else that they have, the ability to wage war like we do. But God didn't have any problem taking their will away from them to do any more harm to his people. I mean, he got, he started punishing them with one plague after another, ten plagues and all, and finally it culminated in the death of the firstborn of every household, the firstborn of every animal in the whole place. And that's when that's when Pharaoh thought, you know what, we need to let these people go. And they forgot all about it. You know, here's God traveling with them, pillar of fire by night, cloud by day, parted the Red Sea for them to get, you know, and and annihilated Pharaoh and his army, you know, and yet they they get over there and they just gripe and gripe and complain. And let's look at Psalm 78 here, verse 37. For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant. See, they're covenant people. They're hooked up with the Almighty God. They're hooked up with El Shaddai, they're hooked up with the creator of the universe, and yet, you know, they weren't steadfast in that covenant. But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and destroyed them not. Yea, many a time turned his anger away and did not stir up all his wrath. For he remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passeth away and cometh not again. I tell you, God is so merciful. God is so good, even when we're not. And and so, and all how often, how often did they provoke him in the wilderness and grieve him in the desert? I I think about the time when they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? You know, he brought water out of the rock. Can he bring flesh also? I mean, you talk about ugly, you talk about horrible. Can you imagine somebody saying, can God? What do you mean, can God? And so it was horrible. I mean, he they provoked the Most High. And they tempted him in the desert. Yay, verse 41, they turned back and tempted God and limited the Holy One of Israel. They limited God. I mean, you know, if we're not careful, our confession and our attitude can limit what God wants to do. Let's take the limits off today. Let's make sure that we're believing for great things. Let's not settle for something way down here. Let's shoot for the highest place. Let's hang out with God. Where do those things come from? Well, they come out with they come from hanging out with God. The more you hang out with God in the word and prayer and praying in the Holy Ghost, the more you have a prayer life and a word life, the more you think like God, the more you're gonna receive from Him, and He's going to make you pregnant, if I can say that. He's gonna make you pregnant with something that He wants to be brought forth in this generation right now. And sometimes we just say, well, God's just not ready, God. No, it's us that's not ready. It's not God, God's ready all the time. He's waiting on us. So let's let's let's stir this the gift of the Holy Ghost up and let's believe God for great things. Let's quit limiting God. I mean, let's face it, we've got a better covenant than them. Founded upon better promises. Hebrews 8, 6. And uh I think about John chapter 10, verse 10, Jesus is talking, and he said, you know, uh the thief cometh not but for to steal, kill, and destroy. And most of the time when I hear it preached, they say the thief is the devil. But really, if you really read the whole number of verses up before you get to verse 10, he's talking about religious leaders. He said, Everybody that came before me was a thief and a robber. So he's talking about fake spiritual leaders. There's lots of those right now. Fake. They're a facade, they're not real, especially since COVID. They're everywhere. Fake pastors, false pastors, false apostles, false teachers, false prophets. You gotta beware who you're listening to. You gotta beware who you who you listen and watch on television or who you watch on uh you know social media and all of that. Beware. But uh he said, but I am come. Don't get me mixed up with them. Don't get me mixed up with dead religion. I am come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly. Notice the word might. The word might means it's all on us. In other words, abundant life is available, but it's up to us to appropriate it by faith. We've got to believe what he said. See, they didn't believe what he said. He took he said, I'm gonna go with you, I'm gonna go all the way to the promised land, I'm gonna go before you, I'm gonna clear things out for you, I'm gonna be with you the whole time. They just didn't believe him. They just didn't believe him, even though. The miracles are there. They have no excuse now for their unbelief. No excuse whatsoever because he did all those miracles. And Jesus has done all these miracles. And I've seen so many miracles. I don't have any excuse for unbelief in my life. I don't allow unbelief in my life. I'm believing. I've got my believing churned up. He said, Don't get me confused with the devil. I've come to give you life. And when you look it up in the concordance, it says, superabundant in quantity, superior in quality. I mean, that's that's such a now when you talk about amazing. That's what he gave. Superabundant in quantity, superior in quality. Zoe, the God kind of life, the life that God lives. Do you think he lives in poverty? Do you think he lives in pain? Do you think he lives in confusion? Do you think he lives in depression and defeat? No, he lives on the top. And that's the life he gave us. And really, I like to say it this way: God gave us too much and too nice. Turn to your neighbor and say, He gave me too much. Turn to the other side, he gave me too nice. Well, maybe you haven't experienced it yet, but you will if you'll believe him. So I've got three things that we need to realize today based on Ephesians 3 that we've read. And the word realize means to become fully aware and to understand completely. Become fully aware and to understand completely. And then another aspect of realize it means to cause something desired to happen. So because of our wise real estate uh transaction, we realized a big profit. Because, you know, I had this new way to find prospects for my sales business. We've realized a huge sales increase this year. See, realize means to gain. See, so God wants us to gain. He also wants us to fully understand, and he wants us to fully, you know, understand completely, become fully aware. So, first uh thing, let's realize, verse 15, that we're named with his name. Verse 15 in Ephesians 3. We read it. We're named with his name. The whole family in heaven and earth is named. You're part of the family of God, and your new name is Jesus. The name of Jesus is you. That's who you are. You're in Christ, you're in Jesus. You're the only Jesus some people are going to see. And you have the right to use the family name. You know, there's some great family names in the world that are very influential, that have done great things, you know. I think about the Rockefellers and the uh JP Morgan's and uh, you know, Carnegie's and some of the Titans that that were around at the Industrial Revolution in America. Uh, you know, uh there was a guy named Tesla who was influential in AC power. You thought Tesla was a made-up name. No, it's made from the guy that that discovered uh instead of DC power, AC power. Anyway, there's lots of lots of uh important names. The greatest, we're hooked up with the greatest name there is. Our family name is the greatest. Our father is great, is El Shaddai. I mean, we need we need to realize where who we are and what we have to offer and what God wants to put in our hand. Miracles are in our DNA. Praise God. Number two, in verse 16, let's realize that we are strengthened and reinforced, and this is the amplified, strengthened and reinforced with mighty power by the Holy Ghost in our innermost being and personality. When I read that, I thought, man, you know, some people need a personality change. I mean, you know, you don't have to be an introvert, you can be an extrovert. You don't have to be embarrassed, you don't have to be shy. Look, get enough of the Holy Ghost in you and you'll get bold. You'll know how to speak a word in season, you'll know how to encourage other people instead of just going through life like a little meat mouse and never say anything, and nobody ever even knew that you were saved. Some people are gonna be surprised when they see you never. Oh, I didn't know you were saved. And you're gonna have a little pup tent out there in the back 40 somewhere. Your mansion's not gonna be very big. No, I'm gonna have a big mansion. My mansion's gonna be huge. I'm gonna have diamond doorknobs in my mansion. I'm gonna have color everywhere. I'm gonna, in fact, the color is gonna change every 10 minutes. It's gonna have a new change. There's no time in heaven, so forget it. All right. Everybody say I'm strengthened and reinforced with mighty power. Realize that. See, the greater one lives on the inside, 1 John 4, 4. And then the last thing to realize is in verse 17 how much God loves us. Look how much he loved Israel. You know, he had every chance to destroy them. They, I mean, they they doubted him from daylight to dark and uh for 40 years until finally the next generation came along and they they did a little better, but not a whole lot. And uh you could say, well, God failed. No, God didn't ever fail. I mean, you know, he's not a puppet master. He's not he's not gonna make you do anything, he's gonna allow you to do it if you'll trust him. And so uh he loves you. And it's that love that we can be flooded and filled with all of his fullness. The amplified talks about being flooded and filled with all of his fullness. Just think about what kind of miracles, what kind of barriers you'll break through, what kind of limits you'll knock over when you're filled and flooded with God Himself because of his love. Sometime uh a billionaire uh was asked, how did how do you what to what do you attribute your great ability to get wealth? And he said, really, I attribute all that to the unconditional love that my father had for me growing up. He's just he loved me no matter whether I uh succeeded or failed. And with that, I had the courage to lose my fear of failure. Anybody with a fear of failure won't ever amount to much. Anybody that's got fear of any kind, but especially the fear of failure, you're never gonna do, you're never gonna shoot to break through anything. You're gonna, you're gonna be s you're gonna settle. You're gonna settle for the mundane, you're gonna settle for what you got. You're gonna settle for even less than what you got. As the devil keeps stealing from you, you're gonna say, well, I can live on less. Well, I can I can feel worse. No. He loves you so much, and he's got exceeding abundantly above all you could dare ask or think, available to you. Glory to God. It's because of his love. So we're not down, we're up. We're not finished, we're just getting started. We're not weak, we're strong. Get the pain, get the picture. Sometimes you just gotta call the things that be not as though they were. I mean, we've been doing that at our house for a while now. Been calling Gladys well for a long time. We've been calling her free of pain for a long time. But she got a new thing. She got a new uh procedure on one of her vertebrae that collapsed a couple of weeks ago, and it caused her a lot of pain, and so we had a procedure Thursday and they stabilized it. So now her back is brand new now. Her back is stable and pain is gone from her in Jesus' name. Thank you all for agreeing with us. See, I mean, you know, we're not defeated, we're on the winning side, we're breaking through every barrier. So let's, I mean, just think about this. The greater works remove all excuses for unbelief. If we're gonna have a massive influx of souls before the Lord comes, we're gonna have to have a church that's sparkling in the supernatural so that we can remove all uh excuses for unbelief. So let's live from this position. Let's break the mold. Let's take the limits off of God and bring him glory. Come on, lift your hands and receive. Hallelujah. Lord, again, in fact, let's just stand together, keep your hands lifted up. Let's all stand, let's have this confession. I'm gonna I'm gonna make this, in fact, I'm just gonna do this confession on the fly. Put Ephesians 3.20 back up on the on the screen. We're gonna go through Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20. And uh let's just say right now, say, I am really coming to know practically through my experience for myself, the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience. I am filled and flooded into all my being with the fullness of God. I have the richest measure of the his divine presence, and I become a person wholly filled and flooded with God Himself. Verse 20. Now to him, in consequence of the action of his power that is at work within me, he is working in me, he's working to carry out his purpose, he's doing superabundantly, he's doing far over, he's doing above all that I even dare or think. He's doing infinitely beyond my highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams. My God is faithful. Come on, lift your hands and shout, glory to God.
