This message centers on the power of faith-filled words and how speaking God’s promises can lead to healing and health. Drawing from scriptures like Mark 11:23 and Romans 4:17, it emphasizes that believers can “speak their way to health” by consistently declaring God’s Word over their bodies, even in the face of symptoms or medical challenges. Through personal testimony and biblical examples, it highlights the importance of persistence, aligning speech with faith, and partnering with both spiritual principles and practical wisdom. Ultimately, it encourages listeners to take authority over their bodies, trust in God’s promises, and use their words as a tool to create life, strength, and victory.

Opening Confession And Prayer

Bibles and uh raise them up, lift them up, and wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad. Say this together, say, Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today. It's so much better being here than in the hospital, and I can relate to that confession. Thank you for all your prayers. Anyway, uh, let's keep waving the Bibles. Let's keep let's keep confessing the word. I got a little personal right there. I came today by divine appointment. I have ears to hear what the Spirit is speaking to me today. I'm gonna integrate it into my life, and I'm gonna give praise for the victory that resounds in Jesus' name. Amen, amen, amen. And we do thank you for all your prayers and and they worked. I'm doing good. And uh I had to send Claire back home because the pastor forgot to take two medications that I can't skip. So she went back home. Thank God for daughters that help you out. So if I take a break in the middle of my preaching, you won't get offended that I take two pills. One lets you know is just for my heart rhythm, and the other one is for blood thinner that I'm on just temporarily, and I can't skip that, you know, and I just forgot it because it's not my normal, it's something added. So, anyway, that's an explanation. So when I stop, you'll know what's going on. Let's look at Mark 11.23 and also Romans 4.17. Mark 11, 23, you could all quote it, but we'll read it. This is speaking, and he said, For verily I say unto you that whosoever, everybody shout, that's me. Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. And then in Romans chapter 4, verse 17, and it's talking about Abraham, as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations before him whom he, Abraham, or Abram, believed, even God, who calleth the things that be not as though they were. And so today I wanted to share a message entitled, Speaking Your Way to Health. Speaking Your Way to Health. I've taught it many times, but it seemed like a good time to testify about how this works because I'm here today because I speak, spoke my way to hell. Thank God for prayer. It wasn't that I called a whole bunch of people. A lot of people have the idea, you know, if I can call enough people to pray, I'll get healed. No, that's not how it works. It's really between you and God. Really, it's between it's really between you and you, because God's already done it. When you get that down, and it takes a while, you know, it takes a while to get it down in your spirit to where you know you're healed no matter what is going on. You don't just snap your fingers and come into that overnight. It takes a while. And so thank God for the covenant of healing. That's in our covenant. And the church, as you know, has been set against sickness and disease. You know, we have the laying on of hands. Where did that come from? Well, it it Jesus laid hands on the sick and they recovered. Many of them instantly healed. But he he put it into the church after the resurrection, telling the disciples in Mark chapter 16, go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. These signs shall follow them that believe. And then he talks about five signs. The last one, lay hands, they shall lay hands on in my name, in my name, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. He didn't say the Christian sick, he didn't say the American sick. He said just the sick. Man, that takes in a lot of people. And so uh heal, you know, hands they shall lay, heal they shall be. And this is a sign. This is this is confirming what you're preaching. And so then, you know, like for instance, uh, so the laying on of hands, the prayer of faith. I like in James chapter 5. Uh James says, Is there any sick among you? Like, you know, that ought to be rare. The the the default uh uh the default position of the believer should be one of health. Is there any sick among you? That means you you're not skilled in knowing how to possess your healing. You're not skilled right now in walking in what has been provided already for you. So let them call for the elders of the church. See, he's really talking to brand new believers. He's talking to new Christians. You know, you did, you know, you need all the help you can get when you're brand new. Sometimes you need a lot of help when you're brand new to this way of believing. Some people have been saved a long, long time, but they've never been exposed to the preaching of the word of faith. Paul said this word of faith, which we preach, so it's not something that's just a uh a fad. It's not just some kind of club. It's the Bible. The word of faith is the gospel. I mean, Jesus taught the word of faith. You can have what you say. So a lot of people need help there, and so what do they do? Call for the elders. Call for the elders of the church. That's why we have uh elders down here lay hands on you. People that are anointed to lay hands on you at certain times in the service. You don't have to do anything by yourself if you're not comfortable believing. Or if you've been standing a long time and nothing's moving, I'd get in somebody in agreement with me. Let's get healed. He said, if there are any sick among you, let them call for the elders of the church, and they will anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the and the prayer of faith shall save or heal the sick, and the Lord uh will raise them up. Is it the oil? No. Is it the elder? No. It's the prayer of faith. And what is the prayer of faith? Call them a thing that be not, as though it were. I mean, you're declaring them healed while the symptoms are still there. You don't expect the symptoms to instantly leave when the elder does all that. They seldom do. What happens? The tide of the battle turns. Are y'all with me now? Gifts of healings. You know, sometimes we'll flow in the gifts. You know, I'll just get a word of knowledge about something or some kind of infirmity or about person, and I call them out, and then we lay hands on them, and the gifts of healings many times are more instant. But whether they're instant or whether they take time, it takes faith to complete the action. I mean, it takes fli it takes faith to keep what God gives you. You know, 12 out of the 19 healing miracles that are mentioned in the gospels mention the faith of the recipient. So faith must be pretty important. You gotta have some faith. And really, in my experience, most people, many people are healed by the mutual faith of the minister and the person coming up for prayer. You've you've got some faith, you've been standing against this thing, but now you want somebody to get in agreement with you. So I encourage people just to come up here and have hands laid on you, and it's not like you've never prayed about it. It's not like you haven't done anything or said anything, but now you have someone to agree with you in this setting. The corporate anointing is here now. Are you with me now? You've got people out sitting out in the pew and they don't know what's wrong with you, but I always say y'all stretch your hands out and get involved in what's going on down here in the front, because these people, you know, they need they need help. They're coming up here for help and they'll get it right here. Through the what? Laying on of hands. See, it's real important. So um, God's word has provided us a way to create healing and health. And uh with our own voice. That's what I really want to talk about today, with what what you say out of your mouth. It can create health and healing. Uh you can be given supernatural ability to program your body and your mind to fight to fight and expel disease and to function in health. Doesn't that sound like a pretty good deal? I mean, that's I mean, to me, that's the best thing. You don't need a man, you don't need a meeting. You can, you can, you can learn, you can get the word of faith in your heart so rich that you can maintain and defend yourself from almost anything. I'm here today because it works. I could I could be in the ground, but I'm not in the ground. I'm here today. You mean it was that serious? Well, that you know what I had was serious, and I'll tell you right now, people die of it every, you know, all the time. It's called atrial flutter. You know, I've had aphib in the past. Afib is just one part of your heart that kind of vibrates and doesn't pump, so your heart is pumping at a much lower efficiency, but it's pumping. But flutter is total chaos. Flutter is your heart just going like this, and it's not pumping much at all. So you can't live like that. You got a you got a window of opportunity to get rid of that flutter, and if you don't get rid of it, you know, you get organ failure, you get a stroke, you can get all kinds of things that happen to you if you don't take action. So um uh getting back to your words, you know, your words are building blocks of life or death. You know, Proverbs 8, 18, 21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and uh those that love it shall eat thereof. But I like the New A Living translation. I'm gonna read this to you. The tongue can bring death or life. Those who love to talk will reap the consequences. See, because in the multitude of words, sometimes we have words that shouldn't be spoken. In the multitude of words, you know, we just talk, talk, talk, yak, yak, yak, and pretty soon, you know, we're talking about somebody we shouldn't talk about, and we're talking about things we shouldn't talk about. We're we're like a shotgun of some words are good, but a lot of words are bad. And what are you gonna get? Well, you've you're getting a lot of death. You're speaking a lot of death. And when you're fighting for your life, you can't afford to be talkative and talk about your problem. That's another problem with the hospital. They're always asking you, how you're doing? How you doing? Well, thank you. I'm doing well. What do you mean you're laying in the hospital hooked up to IVs? The crash cart. They put me up to the crash cart. You know what that is? That's the paddles on either side. So in case I croak, they can, you know, shock me. I didn't, I wasn't a bit intimidated until the the pat the paddles came off, and then all the hair on my chest started hurting real bad in the back. If I'd have known that, I would have shaved beforehand. Oh, Pastor TMI, I know, I know. You know, medical science. Luke 645. We've had this when we were talking about imagination, power of imagination. Uh Jesus said, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So when you, you know, when you speak, people can read. I I all I have to do is ask a few questions, look at people, listen to what they're saying. I can kind of tell whether they're in faith or not. I can kind of tell whether they're kind of glancing at this or whether they're really involved in it in this. You can you can take a person's spiritual temperature by just talking to them a little bit. And so out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So uh it just goes to show you that when you program uh your spirit with with words of of faith and and about your covenant and what you talk about, see that becomes life. Medical science is beginning to confirm this. Uh, positive words and a positive outlook cause people to get uh recovered much quicker. I mean, even if this doesn't have anything to do with Jesus, if it even if it doesn't have anything to do with the Bible, just positive thinking, positive outlook will bring people into a better status of health and get them out of the hospital. It's proven it gets them out of the hospital faster. Guess what? They know how long you're supposed to be in there. And if you stay too long, they're gonna find ways to kick you out of there. Why? Because they're wasting their money. See, they they've got to turn these, you know, sickness is a big business. And that's not, I'm not holding my breath for them to find a cure to cancer. Because why? Because do you think that they would really want to be motivated to cure cancer so that their billions of dollars that people spend on the drugs goes away? Pastor, you sound so negative. No, I'm saying I'm I'm I'm gonna get back into this right here. This right here is the key. Not that you don't need a I needed a hospital, I needed a treatment, and I got it when I needed it because time was of the essence. Are you with me now? So uh Mark 11, 23, of course, it says, Jesus said it. We have what we say. It's talked in that verse, we have the word say or the form of say three times. And uh uh Lego, it just means to say or or to command or to raise your voice. Let's not be let's not be whispering at our symptoms, let's not be whispering at our mountains. I mean, tell it where to, tell it where to go. Get out of here now. And you should, yeah. So he goes on and says, Whoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, be thou cast in the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith, that saith there, means having a systematic discourse. It means saying it over and over. See, in consistency lies the power. It's not what you say once, it's what you say all the time. It's what you're saying at night and then and then in the day. It kind of reminds me of Joshua. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you'll meditate therein day and night. And then you'll make your way prosperous, you'll have good success. That includes health. So it's very simple. It's right along with all the Bible says the same thing. So a continual affirmation of God's word, see, in faith, will literally build into your immune system a supernatural anointing that is capable of eliminating sickness and disease. See, in consistency lies the power. See, this is where people get hung up. They they say one thing to one person and something else to somebody else. They don't know how to talk. One of the biggest, hardest things to do is to learn how to talk. You know, we've been programmed to talk death and destruction, negative. And to program yourself, make that switch. You know, it's it's just it takes, you know, James talks about the taming of your tongue. In your tongue is a world of iniquity. I mean, you know, just a little match can burn a whole forest down. And you get a tongue set on fire of hell and it starts talking wrong. I mean, it can destroy your life. See, it gets back to death and life are in the power of the tongue. So, how do you tame it? Well, speak a lot in other tongues. Your tongue is speaking the perfect will of God every time you speak in tongues. You might not understand it, but it is speaking, you're training your tongue to speak the God's will. And so it may it's easier then once you get the word of God and you know what to say, you say the scripture, say the same thing as, you can begin to do what I'm talking about. Speak your way to health. I gave this testimony some time ago, but I'll give it again because it fits this so well. Uh Brother Hagin talks about a doctor, a medical doctor that he knew, Lillian B. Yeomans, and she uh was in her practice was overwhelmed with patience and work, and she got hooked on drugs by taking drugs out of her cabinet to give her, it was like speed, you know, and she would stay up all night and she just drove herself into a uh well, she got on her deathbed. Doctors gave up on her. She she had overdosed and just had gotten way off. Somebody came and laid hands on her and prayed with her, and she got her healing, and she spent the rest of her life working to bring healing through the word of God to other people. And her and her sister built this home in Southern California, and they could take four tuberculosis patients at the same time. And they'd only take the worst, the ones that the doctors had given up on. You know, tuberculosis is a terrible disease. You know, we did get a vaccine that stamped it out. So some vaccines do work. See, we're not against all vaccines, some vaccines, a polio vaccine, work. There's some vaccines that do work, and then there's some vaccines that don't work nowadays. But anyway, getting back to her, uh, they had the worst of the patients. So they took one lady and took her upstairs and put her in bed, and uh Dr. Yeoman sat in a chair by her bed and read to her for a couple of hours out of the Bible. And then she took her over to Deuteronomy 28 and read some of Deuteronomy 28, and uh and got to the place where, you know, all the sicknesses and diseases that are not listed are the curse of the law. See, in other words, all sickness and all disease, according to Dr. Deuteronomy 28, is the curse of the law. Sickness is a curse, it's never a blessing. Sickness is not a blessing. Oh, but if I had gotten sick, I wouldn't have been able to witness to so and so that had nothing to do with it. You can witness to anybody, you don't have to get sick. Sickness is a curse. I mean, once you know sickness is a curse, you're gonna want to get rid of it as soon as it shows up. So she said according to Deuteronomy 28, sickness, uh, tuberculosis is a curse. But now let's look, honey, let's look at Galatians 3:13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law. So therefore, you no longer have tuberculosis. Well, she's sick as a dog. She can't get out of bed, she's barely breathing. She said, I want you to say those three things over and over. I want you, and so she repeated it. She said, according to Deuteronomy 28, tuberculosis is the curse of the law. But according to Galatians 3:13, Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I no longer have tuberculosis. So she constructed this confession out of God's word. She said, Now I want you to say that over and over. If you get tired, go to sleep, go to sleep. But when you wake up, keep saying it over and over and over. And I'll check on you later. So they came at about supper time, brought her some soup. Have you been saying what I said? Yeah, I've been saying it all afternoon, but it doesn't mean anything to me. And she ate her soup and she left her and she spent the night, got up the next morning, took her little breakfast. Well, have you been saying what I told you? I've said it all night. I must have said it 10,000 times. It doesn't mean anything to me. That's what she kept saying. It doesn't mean anything to me. It's like whistling, you know, just, you know, just like twiddling your thumbs. That's what the devil will try to get you to believe that you're just wasting your time. And so finally, uh, another whole day of that, she kept checking on us. So I think it was the third day. I could be wrong, but I think it was the third morning. She went in and says, Yeah, I've said it all night long. It still doesn't mean anything to me. She said, That's all right, honey. You just keep doing what I told you. Just keep doing it. Don't stop. All right. She wasn't happy, you know, doing it. It's not exciting to do that all day, you know, say that over and over and over like you're a machine. But about mid morning, like 10:30, 11 o'clock, they were downstairs kind of getting lunch ready, and they heard this uh ruckus upstairs. And so Dr. Yeomans went to the stairs and started up the stairs to check on the patients. And here comes this woman fully dressed, and she's coming down the stairs, and she said, Did you know that I've been completely healed of tuberculosis? And Dr. Yeoman says, Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell you for three days. Come on, lift your hands right now. Glory to God. Well, if it'll work for her, it'll work for you. It just, how big is your want to? I mean, how big is your want to? I mean, you are you willing to just live with it and just Kind of muck along. That's what I'll be honest. That's what most of us do. We just kind of put up with stuff. Because we can. We can put I can live with that. It's not that bad. All I have to do is take this and take that and do this and do that. You have my pills, honey? I've already prepared them for me to take a pill break. I have no shame. I don't care. Just give me one of each. I have the water. Here, just throw it, throw it from down. No, don't do that. Praise God. So, um, that's what I've been trying to tell you for three days. So, uh, there we go. Thank you so much. Sorry to interrupt your service. In Jesus' name. Temporary. It's all temporary. Um, so Friday night a week ago, I was laying on the couch. Uh, Gladys was sitting next to me, and we tuned in to I wanted to see Melania, and Gladys did too, so it was on Prime. So we started watching it. I mean, we were into it about 20 minutes and just kind of, you know, knowing things about her, I didn't know. I mean, she's quite a lady and quite uh, I don't think we've had anybody quite as uh educated as she is about a lot of things. I don't she did get no credit for who she is because she doesn't speak that well. Her English is not really perfect. Her English is a little not perfect. You know, her her her English is a whole lot better than my Slovakian or whatever that she came from. But anyway, um my my watch, my Apple watch started vibrating, and I looked at it and says, your your uh pulse rate is uh over 120. Got my attention because the doctor told me if your pulse rate, your your resting pulse rate ever gets over 100, you go directly to the emergency room. Well, that's been five years ago. I've been I've been steady for five years. Everybody say five years. See? I mean, I've been speaking my way to health every day for five years, and of course, before that, too. So um suddenly this thing happens on a Friday night, 8:30. I get up, go to the uh kitchen table where I could use my little watch, and I I've got a little app on there that tells me whether I'm in sinus rhythm or not, and what my beats per minute are, and a beats per minute averaged 157. And it can't read whether I'm in sinus rhythm. I didn't need for it to do that because I knew as soon as I saw 157 that I was in flutter. I knew it. I knew my heart was in flutter. I knew it. So it took a lot, and so I just I didn't rush to the hospital, I waited, and I reminded my body. I said, Look, I've been speaking to you. God's word in his mouth accomplishes what he pleases, and it prospers in the thing whereto he sends it. And God's word in my mouth does the same thing as God's word in his mouth. You have no choice but to straighten up. See, that's that's see, I picked out Isaiah 55, 11 right away. That was a scripture that immediately I could have got by his stripes out and healed. I could have gone, you know, I could all the healing scriptures are in me. But the the scripture that came to my heart when I looked at my my blood pressure, my blood pressure was a little high, not bad, 140 over something. It wasn't terrible, usually 127, 125. I want it to be 120. That's what my confession is, but it rarely gets to 120. It's 127 over 70 something, you know. But then it came back down here, even though my heart is pumping real, you know, it's just vibrating. My blood pressure never did get really high. So I gave it about 30 minutes, then I called Jay. I said, Jay, we need to go to the merchant room. So he came and got me. I could have called on an ambulance, but I I just wanted my son to take me. I need somebody to be there with me anyway, to be my advocate. Don't be going places without an advocate. Because they don't, most places don't listen to you. You know your body better than any doctor, especially anybody in the emergency room. They don't even know who you are. You're just a number, you're a blob, they've never seen you before, and they're gonna treat you like they treat everybody with a bell curve. A bell curve is a good treatment, a good protocol for 80% of people. What about the other 20%? Well, they you have a you know another place they can call to haul them off when they die. That's what you're that's what you're up against, is the bell curve. It's profit, it's how they make money. And so they have a tri one one size fits all. It's a you know, and so they've done that to me twice where I almost went to heaven. And we know what cocktail does that to my heart. It's this amount of drug given all at once, and man, I mean, you know, twice I I thought I was out of here. I mean, my peripheral vision went and it was like tunnel vision. See, what why didn't it happen? Because I had governed my body, I governed my thinking, even though these symptoms were attacking me. Are you with me now? So uh so we went to the hospital and we had to spend the entire night in in the emergency room, which was not comfortable. And then, you know, they they they told me you're in flutter. I said, well, I wasn't, you know, it took a long time to get it out of the 150s. And finally got in the 140s, and then several more hours into the 130s, and they just couldn't get it in two days, they couldn't get it below 125. And it was still alternating between flutter and fib. They couldn't really tell exactly it was the irregular. Now, see, that didn't bother me at all. I just kept saying the same thing. Well, you just have to, I know what the end is. See, I'm not in fear. I'm not wondering whether I'm gonna have to have open heart surgery, I'm not wondering at all. I know that this thing has got to go. Because God's word is true. It's true in my mouth, it's true in his mouth. It doesn't matter. The word does it. I said, the word does it, as long as I believe it. As long as I believe it. So Monday it looked like I was gonna get dismissed, but then my heart rate went right back out of it. Got down to 80s and stayed there for an hour or two. I thought, man, so up on the board says he's scheduled to be dismissed tomorrow morning. Da-da-da-da-da. Well, Monday came and went back up. Well, I could have come all uncluted. No, I just, well, praise God, we're gonna stay another day. That's all right. I don't care how long it takes, I know I'm leaving. Is this helping anybody? I mean, Mila, I'm I'm telling you, I don't give credit to the doctors. I I mean, I'm glad I have good doctors. My cardiologist's office, my cardiologist, the guy that I see all the time, is out of the country on a vacation. So I had his partner, who I hadn't seen but one time before. But he did a good job. So finally, you know, Tuesday morning, they got me in a place where they felt comfortable to cardiovert me, which has shocked you. And so they shocked me and got me over in prime in uh sinus rhythm, and I went home Tuesday afternoon. Come on, let's praise God for that. And so my heart is stable now, it's in the sinus rhythm. I plan on going back to the doctor to follow up uh this week. He'll be back in the office, and he'll let him check me out, and then I'm gonna uh I have another doctor call him the plumber, and the other doctor the electrician. Dr. Romney's my electrician, and he dismissed me a couple of years ago, said I don't need to see you anymore. I said, Well, you're firing me, huh? Well, no, not exactly, but I just I think you're better off just going to your own doctor twice a year. That's plenty good. Everything's fine. If you need me, call me. So I I need him now, so I'm I'm gonna go see him. I'm gonna go let him consult, and I'm gonna hear what he has to say about what we should do. If I want to hear his opinion, because he's worked on me. He's given me an ablation, which is a uh thing that they go up into your uh coronary arteries and they go into your heart itself, and they create a pathway for the electrical signal and stop that electrical signal from going across your heart. See, it's a rogue electrical signal that's going across my heart that's making it do things it shouldn't do. And so there has to be an ablation where they they use a kind of a laser technique. It's amazing what they can do short of major surgery. I've had that done once. It was good for five years, and now, well, what happened? I don't care what happened. I just know I'm not gonna live the way I'm living right now. I'm not living with a threat of that of that of that aflutter. If there's nothing the doctor can do, I'm not gonna be concerned because I know the word can do it. Are y'all with me now? Thank God for what doctors can do, but they can't do it all. But Dr. Jesus does it all. Hallelujah. Glory to God. You know, Smith Wigglesworth said one time, he said, you know, in my experience, people just quit too soon. They just quit too soon. They just they believe for a season and then they wouldn't they don't get results. They just kind of give up. I've been fighting this since 2005. It's 20 years. 2005 was my first encounter with a cardiologist. And I had to go and I got into AFib and I had to go and get shot and cardioverted, and that's all they had to do. And I took some medication for a little while, and I finally got all the way off of all that, and I was fine until 2008 when it came back on me. And I didn't, and I I kept on coming against it. I knew it was irregular, but I kept coming against it, kept coming against it. And I should have gone to the doctor. You know, after a while, you've got to, if you, if your condition doesn't change and it's a dangerous condition, you ought to, you ought enough sense to go and get some help. That's what I mean. If you'll believe God, you know, you might have to do some research, find the right place to go. So anyway, 2008, I did have a minor heart attack. I had to have a stent, and I had to have blood thinners for a while, and I had, in fact, that long while because I had a stint, then it means automatically you're on blood thinners. But I had one stint, that's all it took, and no heart damage, and I've been good until then, until finally in 2018, open heart surgery, triple bypass. They bypassed the stent. I didn't even have to have people down. You mean you're not on blood thinner? I said, no, I take a baby aspirin, that's the only blood thinner I'm on. And I and three months ago I had a PET scan, a heart scan. They used to call it a stress test, but they don't call it that. They don't like to give you that drug to wake in your heart. They have a different test now. It's called a PET scan. And according to the PET scan, I was my cardiologist was happy. See, so there's nothing intrinsically wrong in my health except all of this happened overnight. Well, you know it's gonna go. I'm not gonna put up with it. Are you with me? I mean, I'm not willing for it to be there. I'm not gonna give up. I'm I'm paying total attention. Some people are just, you know, they're just willing to give up and they're willing to live this condition that they have. So, Brother Hagin, you know, I heard his testimony again about how he was two pounds when he was born. Two pounds. Born with all kinds of abnormalities. He had eight different blood diseases. He had a malformed heart. And his mother had worn her health out trying to support four children. The husband went off and left them in the days of the depression, or even actually earlier than that. And uh, she wore herself out and was in bad health, so he had to go live with his grandmother and grandfather. And uh then the mother came and lived with them too, at later. And she was having the baby at home. When they brought the little baby out, the doctor held him and said, He's he's dead. There's nothing we can do for him. So they laid him over at the foot of the bed and worked on mama. And the grandmother was just, you know, paying attention to mama. And the doctors, after 40 minutes, picked up the dead baby and checked it again, you know, moved it again. The face was sunk in. It was blue. It was no bigger, he said, than a big rat. That's what his brother Hagin said. No bigger than a big rat. Blue. And uh he said it you might as well take it back behind the garage and dig a hole and bury it. That's the best you can do. There's nothing we can do for the baby, it's dead. So a little by longer, after more minutes went by, grandma was there with her daughter trying to pay more attention to her. Doctor had to leave, and he was gonna come back later. So he got the mother calmed down, taken care of, and asleep. So he picked up the baby, put it, put the baby under her arm, and walked out to the back, picked up a shovel, went back to the backyard, and was going to dig a hole and bury the baby. And and and she told Brother Hagin years later, she said, I just felt a spark of life in you all of a sudden. I felt a spark of life. And I looked at you, I took you back inside, I laid the shovel, I didn't do that. I took you back inside, I uh and it was obvious you were still alive, so I cleaned, you hadn't been cleaned up from birth yet. I cleaned you all up, and I put a diaper on you, and I put a uh big dress, it swallowed you up, and I couldn't, you've never nursed at a breast, you've never taken a bottle. I had to feed you with an eyedropper, one drop at a time. She said it was really tedious. See, this is how he began life, folks. He began life with a lot of things against him. Things that are impossible. And that that family didn't know anything about healing. You know, they they were the grandmother I know was saved. I'm not sure the mother was saved to think she might have been, but she was messed up in her mind mentally. They didn't know that much about it, but but God had God had, and years later, years later, oh yeah, I'll tell you the story. Let me get to the right story. So all that, that's what I'm talking about. It's a lot to resist. And you know the many times that he was attacked. And one night he laughed for 20 minutes. What are you laughing at? You told me I wasn't going to get this time, I wasn't going to get my healing. I wasn't planning on getting it. Jesus got it for me. Ha ha ha. It drove them. He had many times he had these symptoms. Even after he preached, it was preacher, full time, preaching what I'm talking about. But then one night, he was, it was after a very long endure, he was enduring a lot of symptoms, alarming symptoms, after all the other things. And uh he had done all that he knew to do, stood against it every way that he could. And he was had a dream, and in the dream there was another preacher in him walking across a parade ground. And uh in the dream, the preacher looked over his shoulder and said, Run, there's lions. Brother Hagin looked over his shoulder, two big old huge lions snarling, roaring, and they're coming after him. Running full tilt. And so Brother Hagin took off running for a little bit, and he said, There's no point. There's no point in running. I can't outrun these things. You better run, we can't make the fence if you don't. He said, just go ahead. So he just said, I'm gonna turn and face them. So he turned around and faced them while they're coming toward him. And you know, all the goosebumps rose up on his back in the dream and everything. But this part of the story I hadn't heard since till just recently. He told the whole story in detail. And he said, When they got about far from here to there, which he was talking about the platform, he said, I pointed at him, I said, You're not gonna touch me in Jesus' name. You can't touch me. And they stopped and they quit snarling, and they came up to him and sniffed around his feet and turned and trotted off, and he woke up. And every symptom had left him. And God said, See, God said, now you've won the victory. You have stopped the devil. He's never coming back, he's never coming back. He said, you know, and then he he told him, he said, I I I I set my angels over you when you were born to give you charge, to give them charge over you. They've watched after you all your life. And he kind of laughed. He said, That's what must must have grandma must have felt when she's walking out there to dig a hole to throw me in the hole. She must have felt an angel kind of jogger on the side on the side. And see, all these years later, come on, I'm telling you, we you don't you you can you you can't lose if you don't quit. Everybody say there's no quitting me. You know, you can speak your way to hell. All right, 1 Corinthians chapter 6. Are you getting anything out of this? I preached this all before, but you know, some of you need to hear it again, and some of you it's the first time you've heard it, and you needed a seed, and you water that seed, and it'll begin to grow. 1 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 19. What? Know you not that your body is a temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own. You're not your own. For you're bought with a price. Therefore, because of that, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. So, yes, you want to be free of pain. Yes, you want to be free of disease, but really you're responsible as a caretaker for God's property. Let's take it up a notch here. It's not self-interest alone, it's talking about glorifying God when you walk in health, it's glorifying God when you put diabetes under your feet, it's glorifying God when you refuse arthritis place in your body. It's gl it's glorifying God to get rid of heart disease. Are you with me now? All right, then he wrote in uh 1 Corinthians 9, a few pages over, verse 27. He said, But I keep under my body. Let me find it here. But I keep under my body and bring it under subjection. What does he mean by that? He keeps his body in subjection to his spirit. He he does it. Your body has got to obey your spirit, you've got to be spirit, spirit-led, spirit-dominant, your spirit. You got to feed on the word, see? If you do that, he said, I keep my body under subjection to my spirit, lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. So when we read that, most of the time we're thinking about sin. We're thinking about, you know, some kind of bad sin that somebody commits, like a preacher that has an affair or a preacher that gets guilt, convicted of, you know, uh embezzlement. One preacher here in town cheated a bunch of partners out of millions of dollars and went to federal prison. He got out of federal prison and went right back to pastoring the church. I mean, I wouldn't be, I wouldn't be there. I'm sorry. I forgive you, but I'm not I'm not gonna listen to anything. You, how can I trust you? But anyway, I won't say who he is because it's irrelevant. So you you read that and you think, well, he's just talking about no, he's really talking about everything. He's talking about health, he's talking about sickness and disease. He keeps his body in subjection. You don't have the you don't have the freedom to be sick, body, any more than you have the freedom to commit adultery, body. You don't have the freedom to do that, you don't have the freedom to get drunk on alcohol, body. You don't have freedom to take drugs, recreational drugs. You don't have that freedom, body. I'm I'm over you. Praise God. So we're caretakers of our body, and if we'll if we'll take care, then we won't need a caregiver. You know, don't need a you know a visiting angel to come see me. Praise God. I'm gonna be independent, I'm gonna be well, I'm gonna be whole till till until one of two things either. Then the rapture happens, or one day I decide that I'm satisfied. Then I can go. See, I'm determined that you don't have to get sick to go to heaven. You don't have to die of something. You don't have to die of disease. You don't have to. The patriarchs didn't. They would lean on their staff. They would call the family. When they were ready to die, they'd call the whole family together and they'd bless everybody and the whole thing, and then they'd just boom. They'd just go out and they weren't sick at all. They got a we've got a better covenant than they do. I don't hear about anybody doing that. That's why I'm preaching this. Let's not let the devil have anything to say about our life. So words are confession or building blocks of health. So uh so what do we do? Well, we speak to the symptoms, and then we call the things that be not as though they were. I mean, after you've done that, you just when people ask you how you're doing, you don't rehearse all the symptoms. Now, when you go to the doctor, you you've got to cooperate with the doctor to get treatment. I mean, you can't just go in there, how are you doing? Why are you here? Well, I'm here because I'm totally well. Well, that's kind of stupid. You have to, you know, there's symptoms. But but but when you're talking to me and you and anywhere, how are you doing, Pastor? I mean, they'd come in the hospital room, how are you doing? I'm laying there all hooked up. What am I supposed to say? I said, I'm well, thank you. Oh, I'm glad to hear it. I said, I'm on my way out of here. See, I I just started saying that because they can see what's going on by looking at the monitor. They know where my heart rate is, they know why I'm in there. I don't need to go through all that with them. Most of the time I was preaching to them, giving them testimonies. Most of the time I had so many Christian nurses and Christian people around me. It's amazing. Don't deny symptoms. Just deny that they have the right to exist in your body. So you're not healed by what you deny. I don't have, I don't have it. No, just, you know, praise God, the symptoms are there, but I'm not moved by that. I'm the Bible says I'm well, and I'm well. I mean, we take doctor's medicine. I just I just took two pills right in front of you. I'm the first time in 31 years I've ever done that. But the Holy Ghost reminded me, hey, you went off and left these two medications. Now, one of them has to do with heart rhythm, and it's based on uh a frequency every 12 hours. So I if I don't take it and I wait till I get home, it's it's out of sync. It's not good. So I mean, I got moved by the Holy Ghost. I just I'm gonna take it. And the other one is blood thinner, it's not as critical. But I took it anyway, since I had to take the other. You see what I'm saying? So, what good would that medication do sitting on my drain on my counter at house? It wouldn't do me any good. So, what do you got to do? You got to take the medicine. And uh, we've given you uh Proverbs uh 4, 20 through 22. It says, My son, my daughter, incline your ear to my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes, but keep them in the midst of thine heart, for my words are life unto those that find them, and health are, my margin says, medicine to all their flesh. So, what good is the medicine if it's locked up on the in the pages of your Bible sitting on the bedstand or up in the bookshelf? It's not going to do you any good until it comes out of this into here. You begin to speak it over and over and over again. You begin to meditate and speak. We've been talking a lot about it lately because it's the key to having health. And so, uh, praise God. Let's take God's medicine. All right, Hebrews 11. I got three things, and well, four things. Four more things, real quick. One of them I've already mentioned, but I'll gloss over it first. Hebrews 11, I like this one. When you're speaking God's word, this is what's going on. Hebrews 11, 3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. You know, if I build a house, you can see the material. The pile of lumber out there, the concrete truck just rolled up toward the slab. You know, things that we build in the in the natural, all the materials that went into building them are obvious. But uh the things that God built the universe with are not, they're words. He built everything with words. The Bible says he framed the worlds with his word. And I like what the word frame means. It means to fashion, to put in order, to equip for its intended purpose. So when you speak your words, the words that I'm talking about, the words of health, speak the healing scriptures and command your body to line up with those words. You're fashioning your body, you're putting it in order, you're equipping it for its intended purpose. I mean, my body is not intended to be laying up in a hospital. It's not, it's not intended for it to be laid in the ground with in a casket. It's not intended. I've got still too much work to do. There's too much to do. This is harvest time. I'm gonna be here. Period. End of story. I'm gonna be here. Doesn't matter. I'm gonna be here. I'm gonna overcome this stuff. Why? Because it says it right here in the word. Well, Pastor, you're in the 80th year. We're not guaranteed. I don't care about the guarantee. I can live as long as I'm satisfied. So, I mean, some people don't make it to 60. I've got classmates. I had a classmate of mine that died the summer after I graduated from high school. I had a whole bunch of them that by the time we had our first reunion after five years, there were two or three in my class that didn't make it that that long. And here we are, here we're still here. Praise God. All right. So let's frame our world with words. Let's frame, let's take the word of God and beat the devil. Uh, number two, bad reports from the doctor are not the end. Do you get a report from the doctor? Which which report are you going to believe? See, you can put that and you get all concerned about that report. I mean, you know, they they say you've got stage this or stage that, you've got this amount of time to live, whether who appointed them God. They're not God. They might think they know, but they don't know. They're doing the best they can with what? Sense knowledge. Every, every, and I mean every one of their diagnostic uh instruments that they have functions according to the five physical senses. So it's all tied with the physical realm. There are certain things they can do to help your body fight off disease. That's really what their most drugs are designed to do is to help your body do what God designed it to do. Why didn't it do that? During the fall, the fall of man impacted every one of us. And so we have to resist sickness and disease. So Psalm 10720 says he sent his word and healed us and delivered us from destruction. That's a good way to answer any report from the doctor. You're not denying, you're not denying the report. He's he's saying the report, but that's not the end of the story. The end of the story is that God sent his word and healed you and delivered you from your destruction. See? And then the third one is Isaiah 55.11, which I've already spoken about. I won't go into it again, but uh, so shall a word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall uh my word shall prosper in the thing where it is sent, it it shall accomplish what I please. Isaiah 55.11. Well, God's word in your white mouth will do the same thing. And that's the scripture that I happen to hang on to this time. There have been other verses and other scriptures that got the Holy Ghost used. And that's why another thing, all it takes is one crumb falling out of the mouth of God to heal you completely. You don't need a 500-page uh list of scriptures to get healed. I'm telling you, one rhema got a word from God can turn the tide. That's what I got, a rhema word from Isaiah 55, is what it was. Do I know by its stripes you're healed? Yeah, I know that one. Do I know this one? Do I know I know them all, but the one that God selected for me right when I was sitting at the kitchen table was Isaiah 55, 11. All right, this one, last one, last one. Are you glad I'm done? Isaiah, don't say that. Isaiah 57, 11. 19, sorry, 57, 19. I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith the Lord, and I will heal him. Well, he's already healed us. Shalom, shalom, to them that are far off and to them that are near. I mean, sometimes when we drift away a little bit, uh, you know, the devil will tell you there's no sense in praying for your healing. You've been kind of half backslid. You haven't been reading your Bible enough, you haven't been praying enough, you hadn't been. I mean, you know, we can always listen to the devil or we can listen to God. God said, It doesn't matter whether you're far off or near, I speak shalom, shalom to you. And he said, I create the fruit of your lips, so get your work mouth working for God to be able to create that healing that you need. I'm telling you, medical science may not have the answer for my uh uh atrial flutter. I don't know. I'll find out if they have some kind of answer. It's good to find out what they have to say because it's been successful for five years. And so I'm gonna go and I'm gonna, but I'm not committed to doing anything the Holy Ghost doesn't tell me to do. I'm content to know that any condition in my body can be created better. I mean, you know, you don't have to have a liver transplant. God can give you a brand new liver. If you get a chance to get a liver, well, that's fine. But you know what, God, I had a guy get a brand new heart. I laid hands on him, and God gave him a new heart. He didn't have to have her, and his heart was destroyed. So, I mean, God is, I mean, he creates the fruit of the lips. So your lips have got to get busy, your mouth has got to get busy speaking the word, speak your way to health. Come on, lift your hands and receive today. Glory to God, hallelujah. In fact, I just I just think we ought to stand up and shout a little bit. Come on, let's stand up, stretch your body. Hallelujah! Glory to God, praise God. Praise God. All right. Let's uh while you're standing up, why don't you raise your right hand to heaven? Let's do a confession. Since you're born, and let's everybody say, since I'm blood bought, blood washed, born again by the spirit, my body has been bought with a price. So is my mind and my spirit. I am not my own. I am a spirit being. I am the caretaker over my body and my mind. I do not allow sickness and disease, depression or fear to take root in me. I command my body and mind to line up with the word of God in Jesus' name. I decree and declare that by Jesus' stripes, I am healed. I am blessed. I am strong. I am well. Every contrary symptom, pain, sadness, or fear has to go in Jesus' name. I'm no longer afflicted. I am healed, delivered, and free in Jesus' name. I take God's medicine daily. I have supernatural immunity to all sickness and pain. I walk in divine health. Now we can shout the victory. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Now let answer me. Don't you just feel like you're 10 foot tall after that confession? I mean, it's just amazing what speaking will do. I mean, it just stirs all of God up in you. And uh it and it's good for your physical body, it's good for your mind.
