SPEAKER_00:

Lift your voice and praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Woo! Glory. Come on, lift your voice and praise Him. Lord, we thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your mercy, oh Lord. Thank you, Father God, for the precious blood of Jesus. We're washed in the blood of Jesus. We have boldness in your presence because of the blood of Jesus. Thank you for the Holy Spirit Himself. Oh, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. Dwells on the inside of us. Quickens our mortal body. Come on right now from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. The Holy Spirit quickens your mortal body. That sickness has to leave your body. Disease has to leave your body. Perfect soundness in your body in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the Holy Spirit Himself dwelling in us. The greater one living in us. Woo! Everybody shout hallelujah. Amen. Amen. You can be seated if you want to. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Amen. Well, Sunday night. This is what we call Holy Ghost meeting on Sunday night. If you've never been to a Holy Ghost meeting, just act like everybody else and nobody will know. Amen. In just a moment, me and Trent are going to lay hands on everybody that's here. Everybody that's here. One of the doctrines in the New Testament church is called the doctrine of laying on a hand. Not just for healing, but also to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Also to impart blessing. Also to stir up the gift of God that's on the inside of you. So in just a moment, me and Trent are just going to lay hands on everybody that's here. And so if you do not want that to happen, go to the foyer and read one of my books until we're finished. Hallelujah. Amen. We have them back there and they're free. Praise the Lord. Amen. Look at Ephesians chapter 5, verse 18. And it says, Ephesians 5, 18, be not drunk with wine. Or, as Pastor Terry has in one of his songs, maybe he'll sing it later. You don't need no marijuana. You don't need to go to Tijuana. Come on, you just need to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Amen. And so he says, Don't be drunk with wine. We're in his excess, but be filled. And the word there means be being filled. In other words, being filled again and again are being filled continually. In other words, uh there's one main filling, but there's many refillings. Be filled with the spirit. And the next verse says, speaking. Speaking to yourself, psalms and hymns, spiritual psalms. So I like to say it this way: to be filled with the Spirit, you're going to have to open your mouth. Amen. Be filled with the Holy Ghost. So on the day of Pentecost is when they were filled. In Acts chapter 2, it says they were all filled. All of them got filled with the Holy Ghost. And it says that each one of them had fire on their head. That fire really represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is tangible or it's real. And it actually, you can feel that anointing. Amen. I feel it in my hands right now. And that anointing tangible feels kind of like electricity. And so when you lay hands on people, you say, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the contact of my hands transmits the anointing to you. Now, when that anointing or that uh move of the Holy Spirit, when it's stronger, then it says in the book of Acts, people got healed just getting in Peter's shadow. That means when that anointing is stronger, then you could actually be six feet away, and you could receive that anointing in a tangible way, several feet away. Before I get to you, before Trina gets to you, you could receive that anointing. But he said it's like fire on their head. Each one of them had fire on their head. So I like to say you can't have fire on your head and act normal. I know most of y'all endeavor to be normal on most occasions, but if the fire of the Holy Ghost comes on you, then these people were changed to such a degree that actually Peter had to explain. They are not drunk as you suppose. So they must have been filled with the Spirit, spoke in a supernatural language, and then they got under the influence. Amen. In other words, they were drinking Luke, where Jesus said, Come to me and drink, or John chapter 7, come to me and drink. And he said, When you come to me and drink, he didn't say, Come to me and think. Amen. It's good to think, but he didn't say come to me and think. He said, Come to me and drink. What does that mean? When you drink from his presence, out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. In other words, something supernatural is going to happen on the inside of you when you take a drink from the presence of the Lord. You take a drink from his presence, man, there's satisfaction there, there's joy there. He said, rivers, more than one river. There's a river of healing, there's a river of revelation. Come on, there's a river of strength. When the Holy Ghost, thank God for the Holy Spirit Himself, come on, living on the inside of you. And Dad Hagen said, the world needs to be taught to receive Jesus, but the church needs to be taught to receive the Holy Spirit. Alright, I'm gonna say that one more time. The world, come on, people that have never been saved, they need to be taught to receive Jesus. But believers, come on. People in the church need to be taught what? Be filled with the Holy Spirit, recognize the Holy Spirit, respond to the Holy Spirit, yield to the Holy Spirit, and when you're filled with the Holy Spirit, Wigginsworth said he'll think through your mind. Or he would say it this way when you're filled with the Holy Spirit, he has power over your intellect. Or he changes the way you think. So when you're filled with the Holy Spirit, uh Wigginsworth said he'll think through your mind, he'll speak through your lips, and he'll magnify Jesus in a way that you never could without his help. How many believe the Holy Spirit could magnify Jesus supernaturally? So what Christ has done for you gets so big that your problem gets so little. Amen. So when Jesus was teaching on the Holy Spirit, so apparently we do need teaching on the Holy Spirit, because Jesus taught on the person, the work of the Holy Spirit. John 14, 15, 16, the Apostle Paul taught on the work of the Holy Spirit. But when Jesus taught on the Holy Spirit, he called him the comforter. Otherwise, their paraclete has uh several different meanings. The amplified Bible would say, He is your helper. You need help. How many ever needed to tell somebody that? You need some help. It's funny, but it's not funny if you're the one that needs the help. So you say, You're gonna need some help. And I believe the Holy Spirit can help you everywhere you need help. Amen. So the Lord wouldn't have died, raised from the dead, come on. And then said, I'm gonna send you the Holy Spirit unless you need help. Amen. So he's your helper. Amen. He is your strengthener. Come on, people say, Well, I feel so weak, you know, and I'm so tired. Well, guess what will happen? The Holy Spirit will strengthen you with mighty power. What happens when he strengthens your inner man? Number one is you're strong enough to resist the devil. Number two, you're strong enough to lay hold on the promises of God and receive from God. So the Holy Spirit, everybody say thank God for the Holy Spirit. Come on, he lives in you. So we have faith in God, but not just faith in God way off up in heaven. We have faith in the God that lives in us. Who are you talking about? That's the Spirit of God that lives in us. And if he lives in you, that means what? Your healing is close. I said, if he lives in you, your healing is closed, your victory is closed, your blessing is closed, your strength is closed. You say, What happened? Man, the Holy Spirit moved right on the inside of you, and he's gonna stay in you forever. So you just need to look in the mirror in the morning and say, Holy Spirit, I know you're in there. Don't act like you're not in there because I know you're in there. And I need help. Come on, you need help with your marriage, you need help with your kids, you need help with your job, you need a lot of help. Matter of fact, you need professional help. I said, You need some professional help. I mean, you think the Holy Spirit is the best professional help you can get when he's living on the inside of you. So he's your helper, your strengthener. Then he, that same word means he is your advocate. As an advocate, as an advocate, come on, you got a you got a lawyer living in you. And the Holy Spirit has never lost a case. He's my intercessor, he helps me to pray. So you can pray the word or pray what you're believing for and what you need, but you can also be filled with the Holy Ghost and pray in a supernatural language that bypasses your intellect. Oh, I love to pray in the Holy Ghost. Come on, Judas says, building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Paul said, My spirit prays when I pray in the Holy Ghost. My spirit, not just my body, not just my intellect, my spirit. Come on, your spirit, the part of you that is joined to Christ, now out of your spirit, you speak a supernatural language. Why would you need a supernatural language? Because apparently God has done so much for you in Christ that it just ain't gonna work with just English. It ain't gonna work just with Spanish. God said, I'm gonna give you a language. Now, now, Brother John Osteen, he used to always make me laugh, but I love Brother John Osteen, and of course it loved Joel. But anyway, I listened to John Osteen more, and so John Osteen was a Baptist. Right? And as Baptist, but then he got filled with the Holy Ghost. So John Osteen said, in the Baptist church, we used to sing, Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing our blessed Savior's Praise. Y'all know that song? It's kind of a big choir song, you know. And and uh, oh, for what? A thousand tongues to sing my blessed savior's praise. John Ocean said, I got one more tongue, and they kick me out. Anyway, so so I got one more tongue, and when I let the other, they're like, oh my God, what is that? That's the same thing that happened on the day of Pentecost. Come on, in the book of Acts. I want the same Holy Ghost, not something different, Holy. Whew, I got a supernatural language talking to my Father God from my spirit, talking to him. My spirit prays. How many of you like to let your spirit pray? Come on, after you prayed with your intellect, you ought to say, I'd like to let my spirit by the Holy Spirit work this out. I think Brother Copeland's uh, what was it, his mother or grandma or something, when things were she's having trouble, stuff, she'd say, Hit it with tongues, hit it with tongues. All right, so anyway, so if you're dealing with something that's a challenge, hit it with the tongues, baby. Hit it with the Holy Ghost, amen. And so a supernatural language, woo! Boy, y'all, y'all, y'all need to get happy, man. I said, a supernatural language, amen. Where he said, the spirit himself, are y'all still here? Romans chapter 8? Y'all know Romans 8 26. The Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. So the Holy Spirit Himself helps our infirmities. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you, and he helps. The word helps means he takes hold together with us. In other words, he's not responsible to do the job, you're responsible, and he's gonna help you get the job done. He helps our what? Our infirmities. He helps our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. But the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us. Woo! Thank God for the Holy Ghost. He helps us to pray according to the will of God. And then verse 28 says, and he's gonna take what the devil meant for evil and make everything work together for your good. In other words, the Holy Ghost gets involved in your case. And when you're praying in the Holy Ghost, I call that God's head bypass operation. Why would God want to bypass your head? You know. Anyway, so God, you get filled with the Holy Ghost, and He hot wires your tongue, and right out of your belly, your spirit prays, and your mind's going, What? I don't know, what's happening? Well, yeah, you're the one that got me in trouble stuff to start with, so don't pay no attention to you. So my spirit prays and makes intercession. Amen. Well, I was preaching in uh Hawaii a few years ago. Me and Trent were there uh with uh Rick Renner and his wife and Joyce Meyer and her husband and and another few preachers, and we just had a blast. And so uh every day we just talk about the Bible. We'd have breakfast for like three hours. Amen. One of those fancy hotels. Well, breakfast costs like$50 a person. So we're gonna get our money's worth. So we ate for three hours, then we didn't have to eat lunch. Anyway, so we kept going back to the buffet, right? The buffet bar there. We kept getting stuff, and we're talking about the word. Well, we started talking about different scriptures, and Rick Renner, you know, he's uh the Greek, the Greek person, and he said, actually, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities. He said that word infirmities does not mean a minor problem. He said that word infirmity means a uh literally a uh a crippling disease, a recurring plague is the word he used. In other words, a crippling disease, a reoccurring plague are literally something that is terminal, a terminal condition, or something that would be incurable. So he said, the Holy Spirit helps us when we're dealing with something that looks impossible. Reoccurring plague, come on, something that we're dealing with that we're like, the doctors don't have the answer, we don't have the answer. In other words, you're gonna be stuck that way for the rest of your life. But the Holy Spirit helps what? Our infirmities takes hold together with us, and he makes intercession for us. So Brother Rick pointed out that word intercession in the Greek is the picture of someone who has fallen into a pit from which they cannot escape. All right, let's try that one more time. Someone who has fallen into a pit from which there's no, they can't get out. Come on, they're trying, and they're stuck in that place. And he said, the intercessor is the picture, the Holy Spirit, of someone who is a first responder. So the intercessor of the Holy Spirit comes along, sees the man in the pit, gets in the pit with him. All right, let's try this one more time. In other words, the Holy Spirit doesn't just holler outside the pit. He doesn't just say, try harder, you need to try harder. The Holy Spirit jumps right in the middle of the pit, knows how you feel, knows the challenges that you're going through, and then he pulls you out of the pit. Or you could say it this way: the Holy Spirit has pit experience. Let's try that. I said he has pit experience. He's delivered people out of the pit for 2,000 years. And when your situation looks impossible, the Holy Spirit jumps in the pit with you and says, I'll pull you out of that situation. Woo! Y'all should get happy about that. Thank God for the Holy. While you're praying, while you're yielded to the Holy Spirit. Amen. So we're fixing to lay hands on just a moment, but this is this is what happened. The anointing of the Holy Spirit comes on you. Dad Hagin said in this demonstration of the Holy Spirit, he said there's this thing called joy in the Holy Ghost. Or you cannot get a sad Holy Ghost. I know some people think they did, but you cannot get a sad Holy Spirit. When he moves in you, come on, he takes what Christ has done for you. I don't know. Is anybody awake over this side? I said the Holy Spirit takes what Jesus has done for you and what he is doing for you, and he translates that into personal victory. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, you know the theology, you just don't have any personal victory. But the moment you're filled with the Holy Spirit, yield to the Holy Spirit, fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, He takes the reality of your redemption. Come on, and makes it real in your experience. In other words, Jesus is alive, He really is alive. Come on, there's power that raised Christ from the dead available to us as believers, and that power you shall receive power. Come on, go ahead and act like you come on, you're rough, tough, and you ain't taking no sass off no devil. Come on. I said, there's power filled with the Holy Ghost. How many ever been in a pit and the Holy Spirit brought you out of that pit? So Dad Hagin said, when this anointing, when the Holy Ghost moving in this demonstration, he said, this particular move the Holy Spirit, there will be joy. Joy in the Holy Ghost. Well, that would be a supernatural joy. I would say there might be a purpose for that. In other words, God's not just trying to make you look silly. Come on, RC. S. Lewis said that joy is serious business. So to the natural man, if you've ever been in the Holy Ghost meeting and people get real happy, well, some people might start laughing. Some people might start running around the church. My mother, that was her number one thing, you know. The anointing of the Holy Spirit came on her and she'd shout, woo, and then she'd run around the church. Now it didn't happen every Sunday, but you couldn't schedule it. You know what I mean? So you'd try to have a dignified service, and my mom would start going, hallelujah! And then she would run around the church. I was preaching to like 10,000 people at Ramah camp meeting. While I was preaching, my mama came right on the platform and said, Let's run. I said, Well, maybe I should finish my sermon. Anyway, she goes, No, let's run. So she took off running, and 2,000 people followed her around that Coliseum. That freedom in the Holy Ghost. Come on, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's what? Tremendous freedom. That's why some churches don't want to let the Holy Ghost lose, because it's so hard to get him back in the box if you ever let him lose. Come on, because there's freedom. In other words, people start rejoicing and praising, laughing, get full of joy. Hallelujah. So Dad Hagin explained it this way: He laid hands on us many times, me and Trina. And then we were in St. Louis, and he laid hands on us and he said, I'm going to place some of my honor upon you. And I want you to carry this fire. So you understand? If you were here this morning, I enjoy teaching the word. And there's some things that come through information, and there's other things that come through impartation. Y'all say, With me now. So Dad Hagin would carry that anointing. And most of the time he didn't pray for you. He'd just touch you in the head and say, Be blessed. That's all he did. Touch you in the head. He said, now if you'll receive the anointing, it's the anointing that does the work. So every time he touched me in the head and say, Be blessed, I was a pastor in those days. I'd go back to my church, and my church just kept on growing. We had to build bigger buildings. Church kept growing, finances kept growing. And I'd go back there and I'd say, Hit me, baby, one more time. And he'd just tap me in the head, and a fresh anointing would come on me. So he said, When you receive this anointing, he said, There'll be joy. In other words, some people may start laughing. He said, or sometimes the anointing gets so strong you can't stand up. What happens? You get slain in the spirit. Y'all ever heard of that? People get prayed for it and they fall out. What's happened? The supernatural just came in contact with the natural. Come on, and they fell out. That's why you have to get a new body before you go to heaven. Or you'd just be laying around all the time. You'd be up in heaven going, because of the glory. But you're gonna get a glorified body, huh? Y'all say with me, you're gonna get a glorified body. Woo, boy, ain't that something, right? Amen. But in this situation, the Holy Spirit come on you. Some people start laughing. Just laugh. Some people say, I don't like a laugh. That ain't the Bible. Have you read the Bible, Camel Breath? That's what I'd like to ask you. Have you read the Bible? Come on, Psalms 126. Come on, the Lord turned their captivity, and we all did what? We laughed. Got full of joy. Amen. So people start laughing, joy bubble up on the inside. Or some people get slain, they can't stand up. So a lot of times I just pray for people right where they're seated, so they don't have very far to fall. Don't even have to have a catcher. I just go, I'm gonna touch you in the head, receive the anointing. It's the anointing that does the work. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. Are y'all ready for the last one here? Come on, there's more than this. We don't, uh, you know, I was at Dad Hagen's meetings where the guys there that were so blessed, following and uh serving, uh, but I know that the one of them was 75 years old, uh, Abner Yoder, and he started rolling on the floor. Dignified, 75 years old, his business did 150 million dollars that year. That's a holy roller. So we don't have no scripture for it, but we don't have none against it.

unknown:

Right?

SPEAKER_00:

And so all of Dad's board members started rolling on the floor and laughing and laughing and leapfrogged. If they hit the other one, they just roll over them and just keep rolling. 70, 70-year-old men, 75-year-old men, nice suits, multimillionaires, every one of them. But they would just come on, enjoying who gave them that blessing. Come on, you better know where your money came from, baby. In other words, you better dance with who brung you. So some people would start rolling, no scripture for it, but none against it. Come on, and they're just enjoying, in a sense, in a sense, humbling themselves. Like Naaman, who had to dip seven times before he got his healing. Why? Because he's just too proud. Prophet said, go go dip seven times. So you we call that seven dips on a muddy pond, or seven ducks if you want me. Anyway, seven dips, and so he dipped once. How many times? Seven times. What happened after the seventh? He came up and no leprosy, baby. Come on, your disease will disappear. Come on, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Woo! Amen. One more, one more. I just give you one more. And then uh says that David danced before the Lord, danced with all of his might. And even his own wife said, You look like a fool. You always appreciate encouragement at the house. But his own wife. We don't have any classes for this. We don't have no leotards or stretchy pants, you know, that you can wear before you do a little dance. David just danced in his pajamas or whatever it was, and he danced with all of his might, but he was ushering the glory back in. So in these meetings, Dad Hagin said, some people may dance. We don't have we don't have any control over it. He actually said, You must be prepared for certain extravagances if you want the move of the Holy Ghost. And that's what scares people. They're going. In other words, Dad Hagin said, We will not be frozen out by formality, and we will not be scared out by fanaticism. In other words, we want the real demonstration of the Holy Ghost. And so, Holy Ghost started moving. People, you know, they're laughing, rejoicing. Some people look like they're intoxicated. Come on, some people look like they got fire on their head. And then sometimes Dad Hagin would just start to dance. Just dance. Even when he's in his 80s, he just woo, he just starts dancing like that in his 80s. And he said, There's a blessing you receive. All right, let's try this one more time. There's a blessing you receive when you dance in the Holy Ghost that you can't get any other way. That's what Dad Higgins said. In other words, while I'm rejoicing here, something is happening back at my house. Let's try that one more time. While I'm rejoicing here, something is happening in the next 12 months of my life. Come on, he's making crooked things straight, making the darkness light before you, things out of order, coming into order by the power of the Holy Ghost. Give the Lord a shout, hallelujah. Woo! In other words, while you're being filled or yielded to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit reach out into your future.

unknown:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

You understand what I'm talking about? The Holy Spirit can reach out into your future and make crooked things straight. Things are out of order, He can bring it back into order. He can also help you to miss a thousand pitfalls. Alright, let's try this out. I said, you'll miss a thousand pitfalls. Come on, when you're filled with the Holy Ghost. In other words, you will avoid the strategies of the devil. Come on, not by man, come on, but by the Holy Spirit himself. Amen. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. Woo! Ha ha ha ha ha. Come on, I'm gonna laugh about it, shout about it, praise about it, dance about it, run about it. I believe God. Come on, I believe in the power of God. I believe in the power of the Holy Ghost. Woo! That means you're coming out of the pit. Never could have gotten out of that naturally. But the Holy Spirit. I said, just thank God for the Holy Spirit. Go ahead and laugh a few minutes. I said, thank God for the Holy Ghost. Ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Come on, laugh in the face of the enemy. Laugh at impossibilities. Laugh. Ha ha ha ha. Come on, greater is he that is in me than he that's in the world. Woo! I got the Holy Ghost. Come on. He's my helper, my strengthener, my advocate, my intercessor. Thank God. Ha ha ha. Come here, Trina. Come here, Trina. Praise the Lord. Ha ha ha ha. Praise the Lord. Me and Trinity are gonna walk around here and lay hands on everybody here. Praise the Lord. Come on. We're just the jumper cables. Hallelujah. God said we're gonna lay hands on you. Hallelujah. The anointing of the Holy Ghost is the anointing that does the work. Praise the Lord. Everybody say serious business. Come on, look at somebody next to you and say, excuse me, but I need to take care of some serious business. Come on, say, excuse me, I need to take care of some serious business. Now I don't want to hurt you, I don't want to embarrass you, but I need to take care of some business right now. I'm believing God for stuff that is way beyond my natural ability. But the Holy Ghost Himself will bring that thing to pass in my life.
