Glorious Way Church

2025 - The Year Of Milestones | Pastor John Greiner

Pastor John Greiner

In this “Milestone Sunday” message from Glorious Way Church, the pastor opens with a faith-filled confession and then teaches from Psalm 92:10 and 1 Timothy about being anointed with fresh oil and “warring a good warfare” by mixing faith with God’s Word and prophetic declarations. He revisits a January 5, 2025 prophecy declaring a year of milestones—a season of “exceeding abundantly above” where God would “startle” His people with unexpected breakthroughs—and frames the day’s testimonies as the harvest of long-term faith, obedience, and confession

SPEAKER_00:

Pick up our Bibles and lift them up and wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad. We're going to get into this powerful time of testimony this morning. But uh first let's just make this confession. Let's say, Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today to magnify you, to give you glory, to rejoice with those with whom you've blessed with milestones in this year of milestones. I thank you for all that's going on in my life. I see the tracks of your chariot wheels drip with fatness. You're leading me into the blessing. More and more it's overtaking me. In Jesus' name. Amen. Praise God. All right. Psalm 92 first, and then also 1 Timothy chapter 1. And I want to begin our time together this morning. And I just believe this is a milestone Sunday. This is the first kind of a service we've ever had like this. I can't wait to see how it unfolds. I know the Holy Ghost is here. Psalm 92, 10. And it says here in the King James, My horn shall you exalt like the horn of a unicorn. I shall be anointed with fresh oil. I shall be anointed with fresh oil. And then 1 Timothy chapter 1, Paul is writing to his son in the faith, and he's encouraging him. And in verse 17, now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. And then he tells him how to really give him glory and honor. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies. Everybody shout prophecies.

unknown:

Prophecies.

SPEAKER_00:

Notice it's plural. Prophecies that went before on thee, that thou by them might war a good warfare. And so it's imperative then that we take what God says and mix faith with it. You know, that's what you when you take God's word, and God's word is right here, but also God's word can be a prophetic word, especially one that's coming from not only just a believer, believers give words. We have gift of prophecy happens in here. And for the believer, when it comes from the audience, that that that prophecy is for edification, exhortation, comfort of the church. It's not foretelling, it's not looking into the future. It's not that. That's not in the believers. A believer might have that, but that's not what believers are are to do with prophecy. But prophecy in the all in the in the office that I stand in, it's something that you can take if you'll believe it and mix faith with it, it'll come to pass. And so with that in mind, I wanted to start this service off and go back to uh January the 5th, some 11 months ago, 2025, on a Sunday morning, uh during the service, you know, I had gone to Galveston and I had received some things. One of the things I'd received was Psalm 92, 10. And uh and I received some other things, which I'll talk about in a minute. But as I was during praise and worship, as I'm wont to do, many times I see things. I, you know, prophets see. I will you're a prophet. Well, yeah, it's one of the ministry gifts that I stand in as the Spirit allows me to. Apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher. Those are my offices. And uh and so, you know, I I don't I say it without any uh pride or anything like that. I'm just I just know what God has done in my life. He's He's added to my ministry. I I signed up to be a pastor. That's all I knew to start with. And now, 30 years later, here we are. So in that service, yes, it's 11 months ago, I saw a vision of going down interstate with mile markers. Mile marker, mile marker, mile marker. I mean, you start in Galveston, it's zero, and you go to Dallas, it's 200 and some odd. You know, you just every mile is marked. And so here's the prophetic word that came that morning when I got up like I am now. The word of the Lord comes unto me, saying, Many have run to and fro, many have been discouraged, uh, fear has overtaken, confusion and despair. But I say unto you this day, lift up your head and look up, for your redemption draws nigh. 2025 will be a year of exceeding abundantly above. It will be a year of grace upon grace. It will be a year where I will release a fresh anointing over you, even a new anointing that you have not yet experienced, saith the Lord, that will cause you to be startled at what I will do. We're gonna get prepared to be startled this morning. Amen. For I'm tired of my people being startled about the enemy, startled about what he's done and what he's displayed. I'm about to display myself through my church and in such a way that the whole world will be startled. I will cause them to catch their breath. That's what startle means. Catch your breath at what I will do. Yes, 2025 is going to be a year of milestones. Let me just pause right there. See, that's the first time I heard that. I didn't get that in Galveston. I went to Galveston a few days before to pray on actually the 2nd. On the 2nd of January, I received Psalm 92.10. On the 2nd, I received 2025, the year of exceeding abundantly above, the year of grace upon grace. I'll get into that. But I hadn't heard milestone till that morning. It came in the moment. See, that's what prophets do. Prophets speak in the moment and point the finger toward the direction of what's going to happen. Are y'all with me now? I mean, if you'll learn to mix faith with what you hear when I'm standing in my office, you can be just as blessed as you follow this word of God right here. Because what I say is not going to violate what this says. Are you with me now? I learned this at Lakewood. I had to learn to listen very carefully, Brother Osteen, because I never knew when he was going to say something that was prophetic. And he didn't say, thus saith the Lord. He'd just speak it out. And I learned to mix faith with what he said. Are y'all with me now? Yes, 2025 is going to be a year of milestones, for your faith has not waned over 30 years. You have stood the course, you have kept the faith. You have processed my plan in prayer. You have been patient to wait for the fulfillment that is coming in the year of 2025, the year of milestones, saith the Lord. Come on, let's lift our hands right now. Because it's been almost, it's been 11 months ago. And these milestones came as a result of what? The seed of faith, the believing God in spite of everything to the contrary, to the constant speaking and confessing of the word. And when you hear these testimonies that many of us are going to give this morning, you're going to keep this in mind. Keep this in mind that they had to act like the Bible was true. They had to act on the word. They had to act at a time when everything looked against them. It looked impossible. It looked like it couldn't happen. That's what your faith is built to overcome. Life's impossibilities, where you can look at, you can stare at the face of the devil and just say, ha ha ha, it's mine now. So the Holy Ghost spoke to me about a year of milestones during this prophecy. It came, I didn't get it down there. I got it when I started speaking. I started off speaking about what God had already given me on the 2nd of January. And as I kept going, boom, year of milestones. And I surprised myself. It kind of reminds me of 2020 when the Holy Ghost took over on Rosh Hashanah, one of the evening services in 2019, talking about 2020. And he said in 2019, September 2019, he said, 2020 is going to be the greatest year yet. Well, that was crazy. I mean, the greatest year. Are you kidding? That's the year that COVID decimated the economy. Many people were laid off. Some people died and went to heaven. And yet God said it's going to be it's going to be the greatest year yet. When I look back on 2020, it really set the tone for everything we did, we're doing right now this morning. We've got candidates here. We've got the candidate for the state board of education that we're going to endorse this morning right here in front of God and everybody. And we've got judge candidates that are going to come and they're going to be out in the lobby for you to sign their petitions, which is just as good as an endorsement. So that they can get on the ballot. These are good, God-fearing people that want to run on these Democrats. There's a number of Democrats voted running unopposed. Well, they're going to oppose them. Thank God. Well, you know what? They're taking a pay cut to do it. I mean, listen, what is happening? I'm telling you, God's word is being fulfilled, and this is a year of milestones we get to be part of. So what is a milestone besides being a milestar? Well, it's it's a milestone is an important event in history, or development of something, or a development of someone. See, when you develop, you have a milestone, like when you graduate eighth grade, when you graduate junior high, when you graduate high school, graduate college, when you get married, when you have your first child. These are milestones. It's also a landmark, a turning point, a watershed moment, a tipping point. I heard our president say that this week that this is a tipping point for this country. We can go either direction. It's hanging on a knife edge. It could tumble off into communism so easily. We could lose this nation even right now if the church doesn't wake up. The church, the church has to wake up. That's what God told me in 1999. I didn't know. I had no idea what that meant. But here we are. And we're important in what we're doing in waking up the church. Praise God. What an honor. I didn't choose it. I didn't call it. I didn't elect myself. But God said. And I just had enough sense to mix faith with it. Amen. In obedience. So personally and corporately, we're seeing the harvest of the seeds that we've planted. That's what I want you to keep that in mind. When you hear these good reports, this is a harvest of the seeds that we've planted as a church. It's not just each individual, it's us together working together. It's a corporate anointing. And this marks a tipping point, a watershed moment in this landmark year. So in 2025, when I went away, you know, on the second, the first, or really the uh the 2nd of January and the 3rd of last year, or this year actually, uh prayed about this year. I looked at the year 2025. It's uh Hebrew is a numerical, uh, you know, the alphabet is numerical, it's a numerical language, and God is God does a lot of things on Moeds that have to do with the calendar, have to do with numbers. When you look up the word 20, 20 is the number of redemption, five is the number of uh uh grace, and so you put those together. Five times five is twenty five. See, five grace, grace, grace upon grace, exceeding abundantly above, all you dare ask or think. See, that's what that was the hint that I got when I went to Galveston to pray. And uh the Holy Spirit is mentioned 25 times in the Gospels. And Psalm 92, 10 was my normal reading on the 2nd of January. That was the second. Psalm 92 was in my normal reading. I was reading that psalm, and the horn, the horn, horn is a symbol of strength. Unicorn is a mythical creature, it's like an ox, or but really they don't even know, there's really no real translation for unicorn. I mean, unicorn doesn't mean it like the unicorn that you see. I mean, it's it's a mythical animal. It's a it's it's like something that's never before existed. It's what happens when you become a new creature. There's never been a creature like it. I mean, new creature, we're we're a species of being that's never before existed. We're not just an African American or a Native American or a white or a black or listen, there is no more black nor white nor male nor female. We're new creatures. Unicorns, if you will. And it's a symbol of our strength that we don't get from ourselves, we get it from where? The Holy Ghost that lives on the inside. And that now, you see, he he said, I'm gonna give you a fresh anointing. The word fresh means new. Many times when God begins to give you further instructions like he has this church, even since 2020. We had to have a new anointing. We had to have a different anointing, we had to have an increase in the anointing because you can't accomplish what God wants you to accomplish with the old anointing. You're gonna have to have a new one, you're gonna have to have a greater one. Because what he's demanding is gonna take greater power. Are y'all with me now? And that's what God said was gonna happen this year. Glory to God. I like the Passion translation for Psalm 92.10. You've empowered my life for triumph through a new anointing. Hallelujah. Oh, I'm telling you, it's harder and harder to triumph in this atmosphere. Because why? Because the devil is working against us overtime. He knows his time is short. Who's his biggest obstacle? The church. If he can keep the church silent, if he can keep the church in the walls of the church and keep them out of Austin and out of Washington and out of politics, he can defeat them. He ain't keeping us out. I said he ain't keeping us out. Too late. We busted through. Amen. Oh, hallelujah. Come on, let's shout a little bit. Glory to God. I'm getting, I'm getting excited. Glorious way church is entering into a season of great triumph because of a new anointing. Greater than we've ever experienced. I mean, we're not even, we don't even, we're not even acquainted with the anointing that God has given us. Some of you are just beginning to discover it. You know, Zechariah 4, 6, not by power, not by might, nor by army, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. It doesn't take a megachurch to do what we're doing. It's not about the numbers in the seats, it's about the anointing. It's about the yieldingness of the people that are involved. Are y'all with me now? So in 1 Timothy 118, Paul presented Timothy with a mandate and he told him to war a good warfare. And so when you look that up in your concordance, it means to execute the apostolic by meditating on the prophecies that went before. So when I got that word in Galveston, I went back and I looked at a lot of the prophetic words that I've received over the years from different ones that have prophesied over me. I mean I've had a significant number of prophetic words over me by prophets and by apostles and by others in the ministry that I respect. Let me give you this one. This church, Glorious Way Church, is a house of majesty and royalty. An apostolic house with a prophetic river. Didn't say that about myself. Someone prophesied it in a church service on a Sunday morning. A house of majesty and royalty, an apostolic house with a prophetic river. It refers to the kingly authority that we are to employ. I mean, we're all kings and priests unto God, according to Revelation 1:6. So we, you know, kings don't beg, kings don't cry, kings don't wring their hands and go to bed nervous. I'm telling you, kings make decrees, and there's a whole group of people running to cause it to come to pass like angelic hosts. Are y'all with me now? You know, Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. Let's go back to 1 Timothy again. And uh in chapter 6. Because he's getting the point over to Timothy. You know, Timothy was crying, Timothy was nervous. He's a young man, and he got persecuted for his. He was an apostle. Okay? Yet he's young. And he got persecuted over his youth, and you know, and uh people would say, oh, you hadn't been around long enough to know what you know. And so uh in 1 Timothy uh 6, verse 12, he tells him to like this fight. He told him to war a good warfare, see? That means you know, you've got the apostolic. The apostolic is what? It's it's the kingly, it's the royal anointing, it's the decree and declare over a territory that God has assigned you. You can't rule over some other territory. You have to rule over the one God gives you. And when he gives you more of it, then you've got to have a new anointing to do it. Are y'all with me now? Verse 12 fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life where until you're also called, and have professed a good profession among many, before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God. See, he's he's he's giving him a command, a charge who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession. See, there it's talking about testimony. Talking about testimony, that thou keep this commandment without. Spot unrebucable until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which in his times he shall show who is the blessed and only potentate, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Well, who's the king? Who is he the king of? He's the king of us. We're the kings, he's the king of. We're the lords, he's the lord of. Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man hath seen nor can see, to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen. So how is it that you can give God this glory? How can you do it? You have to do it by obeying his commands. You have to do it by fighting the good fight of faith. That's the only way you can do it. And so your testimony. You know, he was standing before Agrippa. You know, he was arrested, and and and everywhere he went, he he he gave his testimony. And he said here before Agrippa, he said in verse 22, having therefore obtained help of God, the amplified says, help of God as my ally. See, God is your ally. Having obtained help of God as my ally, I continue under this day witnessing, or another word, another another uh version says, testifying. Testifying, both to small and to great. I mean, he he's not just testifying just to the church members, he's testifying to kings. He's testifying, he wound up testifying to Caesar. God took pulled him out of his ministry just so he could testify and give his testimony to Caesar. And he was martyred for it. You know, God has a different economy than we do. We want to let all of us live a long life. Well, you know, some of us have maybe shorter lives. Well, we've got we've got a burning and a powerful testimony that has to be given to great leaders. It has to be given all the way to the top. God doesn't want to leave leave leaders. I'm so glad somebody testified to Donald Trump. Donald Trump got saved at some point. I I consider him a baby Christian. I mean, I don't think he knows that much about the Bible, but he I know he knows the Lord. I'm so glad. I'm I'm just think about, just think about this year. This this this word came on on the 5th of January, and Trump had not even been inaugurated. Look what has happened since he got elected, much less inaugurated. He did more before he actually took over behind the scenes than most people ever do. He already he already had everybody lined up in his cabinet, and he was meeting with them at Mar-a-Lago all during the holidays before he ever took over on the 20th. Oh, I'm telling, come on, lift your hands right now. God has got, God has not forgotten America, but the church has got to do its job and advocate for God's side. See, God has a side, and the church has not been advocating or testifying or witnessing enough on its on God's side. We just let it go. Oh no, that that politics is dirty. Exactly. You got it right. It's dirty. That's why we've got to get involved. We've got to clean it up. Are y'all with me now? In Mark chapter 5, verse 33. The woman with the issue of blood, she heard about Jesus, came in the press behind, for she kept saying, kept on saying, Amplified says. If I can touch him, I shall be whole. I shall be whole, I shall be whole with every step. She had twelve years, she had hemorrhaged, had bleeding from her body. She spent all her money on doctors, was neither nothing better, but rather grew worth. But when she heard of Jesus, what must she have heard? Jesus is the healer. All you got to do is get there. And she one step at a time. Here she is unclean, which means she had no legal right to be out there. She's a blown, a woman alone, which is not, it's frowned on in those days. So she had a double whammy and she had to overcome that journey. And then when she got there, the crowd was so thick she couldn't get to Jesus, so she went down and touched the hem of his garments. That meant she crawled on her hands and knees. How many people are that desperate that they would crawl to church? That they would crawl to where God was going. See, you don't have to do that. Why? Because he lives right here. You don't have to crawl nowhere. So she touched the hem of his garment and he's instantly, he he felt virtue or power go out of him. He said, Who touched me? Well, Jesus, look at the crowd, they're thronging you. And you say, Who touched me? Everybody. I mean, they're just gnashing against you. You know, no, somebody touched me. Somebody, somebody touched me, and they they they made a demand on my anointing. They made a demand on my anointing. They touched me by faith. Their faith touched me. And that woman who touched me. See, she had to tell. She had to tell him all the truth. What did she do? She testified. Well, Jesus, I was so sick I spent all my living on doctors. Was nothing better, but rather grew worse. But I heard about you. Somebody told me about you, and I came and I and I and I'm healed. I'm healed all the way through. I felt your power go into me and I'm healed. And he said, Go thy way. Thy faith hath made thee whole. She testified. If you want to see God move, you're gonna have to give your testimony. You're gonna have to talk about what God has done. It's not right for you to receive something so wonderful in your life and then just hide it under a bushel or under a basket and act like nobody's gonna be interested. Listen, there are people that need to hear what God has done for you. You know, I'm thinking about just giving my testimony. I haven't given my testimony here in a long time. I might do that next Sunday. I might just get up here and tell you how I got saved. How many of you are interested in how I got saved? Some of you, not some of you, are indifferent. Okay, I got it. So faith testifies. See, part of your faith, if you've got faith for anything, then it's gonna say what God did. It's gonna tell others what God did. And uh, and so and then and then you can go your way. Your faith made you whole. Jesus didn't say I made you whole. He didn't say my power made you whole. He said, Your faith made you whole. Everybody say, My faith can make me whole. My faith can make my finances whole. My faith can make my body whole. My faith can make my family whole. Come on, come on now. Glory to God. Let's tell let's give our testimony. Hallelujah. So, as we come together, then I want you to keep these things in mind, how it ended, or how how we how it began, rather, uh, this year of testimony uh of milestones. And as you hear each of these wonderful testimonies, then you know, you know, listen for what I guess got through saying. It's all a fulfillment of what God said and put on the put on for us, hung it up there in public for us to believe, hang our hat on, so to speak, and have, and he's been doing that since 2001 was the first year that I had. You know, it's a it's a premier year. Anybody remember the premier year, the first in a series of years? And here we are, all these years later, still uh getting these prophetic declarations about each year. It's so important, so vital, especially the closer we get to the coming of the Lord. We're gonna need more and more for God to stir us up to believe for the greatest things. What you heard, that your faith is kicked into overdrive. It's gonna bring it in. All right, let me now going back to that word we had, we talked about that word uh 11 months ago, and and in that word, the word startled, catch your breath. Did anybody hear something that startled them? I mean, how about that? I mean, how about these children, you know, laying their hands on the and and praying over the prayer wall and seeing uh, you know, at Halloween, you know, laying hands on. Uh is Joshua busy? Maybe he could be associate pastor. We could probably hire him. Need another associate pastor in charge of prayer. Praise God. Wow. Uh, you know, exceeding abundantly above. Did anybody hear something about exceeding abundantly above? So, you know, these words, these milestones, it's not just a kind of regular thing. It's it's something that's, you know, Donna, Donna's uh cousin was it was I mean, what a powerful word. I mean I mean, at the end of his life, she only had a short time to catch that. Just what if she had resisted that? What if she had put that off? Well, I'll go to see him sometime. And he went, he'd just go out into eternity, lost. And instead he's saved, and then plus, plus, he got to his whole family got to receive the healing they needed. They needed to hear their dad say, I love you. The ex-wife needed to hear that too. I mean, just just what a what a morning we've had, and and I just I just want to uh thank everybody for participating. Uh uh it's it's I want to wrap up uh here because we have taken a time and and I want to give you some things for the church and for my God votes. You've heard a few things. First of all, this is our 30th year at Glorious Way Church. You know, 30 years is a milestone. A lot of churches don't last 30 days or 30 months. Here we've been here 30 years. And thanks to all of you, and thanks to your faithfulness. And uh another milestone this year, this is the first year we've ever hosted pastor roundtables around Harris County. You know, I I wrote a book back in 2006 when I went to uh uh to uh interview Oral Roberts, who had the wake-up call. And uh I just knew that that that would help me reach pastors and and Christians to wake them up to what we needed to start doing. And uh I was ignored. I I I had some connections with a number of pastors out at Channel 14 and Channel 22, we would interface with different ministries, and and I gave several of them my book, you know, thought maybe they'd call me, they never called me, they never responded, they never looked at it, they were asleep. And it's taken years and years, and how this year, finally, after all the obedience and all the prayer, we're you know, God put, you know, it takes time. And so now, this year, we're going traveling around the Harris County, waking up pastors and getting them involved, and they're it and and they're wanting to hear more about how to work how to do it. And then, of course, number three, explosive growth of my God votes, church services and state capitals. We never dreamed we would do that. But in 2023, we had a state legislature that wanted to have involvement of the church. And when we heard about it, we were able to speak into it and say, look, you don't want the para-church ministry, you don't want just a praise and worship team coming out here. You need a local church pastor with his worship team to come, and you need to have a worship service, you need to have a church service. You don't need just another. There's lots of people go and sing out at the steps. There's a lot of people that do a lot of things. But the local church needs to get involved, and that turned out to be the plan that God had. And so our first was was was Texas, and then the next year we got uh last this year, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Maine, Indiana, and Michigan. That's exponential growth, folks. And that happened this year, it's a milestone. And then in November just last month, we had our team go, James Clare, and uh Brother Joseph and Flora went to the Pro Family Legislative Conference, and we've got uh several other states. Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, Idaho, and Florida are highly interested in having us come and help them have capital worship in their states. And also, besides that, we've got others that are considering it. They're in the consideration stage. Alaska, Alabama, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, Georgia, and Kansas. Exceeding abundantly above. See, the church is beginning to wake up. What does that do? Well, you have a local church and a local pastor from that state, a different one each week, goes to the state capitol, gets to preach a message there, gets to pray for legislation, get to pray for legislators, get to know legislators, get to have a tour of the capital, get to know how to contact their representative from their town. They get to know how to go and testify. Some states don't have this, but Texas does, where you know you'd heard Brian talk about testifying for not every state has that, but they ought to. They ought to have to go through a process where they hear from the voters. And they ought to hear from the local church. That's that's what's happening, folks. And uh and then we've hosted a record number of judicial candidates. We've got judicial candidates here this morning that have decided that they're going to run. They're in obedience. You know, a lot of these, you know, we heard from one that said the Holy Ghost put in their heart, you know, they're gonna, they've got a very successful law practice which they have to abandon. They have to get rid of it. They have to just go ahead and just take a knife and cut that income off. And if they win, get a big cut in pay. A big cut. And if they don't win, then they have to start over. How many people do you think are willing to take that kind of price? Well, the people that are here this morning have decided to do that. So they they you know, they they deserve our honor and our prayer and our support. Because that's what it's gonna take. We've got to have some better judges. We've got terrible judges in Harris County, horrible. And we need Christian judges. We need people that will enforce the law. And so uh uh and then also we issued our first uh number five, uh issued our first ever official candidate endorsement earlier this year. You know, churches are not supposed to do that. Supposed to be, it's not you're supposed to just get rid, you know, no freedom of speech for the church. Well, that's baloney. And we hope we hope we're taking to court over it. We'd like to overturn that entire thing. It's wrong, it's unconstitutional, it's never been challenged in court. The church just went along with it all these years, 19, you know, 65. Good old Lyndon Debain Johnson, he's up at the top of the worst presidents we've ever had in our history. Corrupt, crooked as a snake. And he put that in. So, you know, look, let's get rid of it while we have the opportunity. So that's why we stand up here and we say we endorsed, and we endorsed three candidates for sci-fair in the school district uh board. They didn't win. Well, that's not on us, at least we did it. And see, that's where we're we're going. We've got a state board of education, we've got two this morning, so we're we're we're going online this morning for that. So this is all new for us. This is a milestone. God has led us down this pathway. And then finally, I wanted to talk about Gladys, because that's been a major thing that we, our family, and myself and Gladys have had to overtake. And so in 20, last year in August of 24, she fell in our home and broke her hip and other bones, and and we discovered she had hydrocephalus, and that was the reason for her dizziness and her weakness. And so it's been a tough, tough time where she spent eight months uh this year in uh away from the home and assisted living, but she came home in early June. She's and then we had to have a caregiver for five months, and now she's improved so much now that I've been able to release the caregiver. She's at home now. She's able to get in and around and out of bed by herself, get in and around the house by herself. I mean, she couldn't, she couldn't get out of bed. She couldn't even lift, she couldn't even lift herself up to take medication. You had to get your hand under her. And now she can she she can move around. She's improved so much and has had dramatic improvement physically and also cognitively. She her mind is working better. She has fewer times of fogginess and stuff, and just want to thank everybody for your agreement in prayer. But I mean, it's taken glad as she's had to just, she's had to fight. Honey, can you stand up? I want everybody to see you. Just go ahead and stand up and let everybody see you. That's my honey. You know, Derek, when you were talking about Carol, Carol was with you all the way through. No matter what you wanted to do, she didn't have any input. She didn't say, Oh, no, we don't need to move. Oh, I'm not ready to move. I can't leave. No, I'm do what you say, whatever it is, you hear from God, I'll follow you. That's what she's done. And she didn't marry a preacher. She did not marry a preacher. She married a home builder. And uh actually, she married an engineer, to be honest with you. She married a student that was going to school to be an engineer. That's what she married. Let me correct all of that. And then that guy graduated with a degree in engineering, and he decided not to be an engineer. He decided to be in a uh, you know, and she's she just stuck with me. She had a right to kick me out, but she did, she could have kicked me to the curb. Because I didn't even really, I just told her. We're going to the home building business, honey. And she stuck with me all these years, and then, you know, I get saved, and then God calls me to preach. Well, she didn't marry a preacher. It took her a while to get it lined up, but guess what? She's she's been here all along, she's been side by side with me, and mother of this church. It's a milestone year. And God's not through doing great things for people. So let's just lift our hands. Father, we thank you for the testimonies that we've heard this morning. We're we're so um amazed. We're startled at some of what we've heard. And we thank you for what you're going to do this next year. I know that, Lord, you've got something for us. us to believe specifically about and it'll soon uh be revealed and we will uh mix faith with what we hear and receive what you have for us in 2026 in Jesus name
