Glorious Way Church
But What I Do Have | Joseph Davis
In this sermon, Joseph Davis fires up the church for the final stretch of the year, reminding everyone that not every “milestone” is just something God does for you—many are what God wants to do through you. Using Acts 3 and the healing of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate, Joseph highlights a Kingdom mindset: people may ask for temporary help, but believers carry something far greater—“silver and gold have I none, but what I do have I give to you.” He calls the church into deeper prayer, bolder faith, and action that matches confession—because miracles are meant to become a “dinner bell” that draws people to Jesus, not to the messenger. With personal testimony and practical takeaways, Joseph urges listeners not to limit God, not to let circumstances speak louder than what’s inside them, and to step into this charge: “You have it. They need it. Now give it.”
Amen.
SPEAKER_00:Well, are you excited about what God is doing in the earth? And here we are about to step into tomorrow, the last month of the year. And as most of you know, I guess I've been designated as the milestone cheerleader. And I'm thankful for the opportunity. And as I was thinking and just praying and just listening to what the Lord would have me to share, you know, there's so many things that God wants to do, and not every milestone is for you. Come on. Somebody say amen. How many of you know that God not only wants to do things for you and to you, but he also wants to do things through you? I'm gonna say that again. Not every milestone this year that you experience is going to be for you. God did something for you, God gave something to you, but I also believe that God wants to do some things through you. Somebody say amen. Amen. I don't know about you, but I get excited that God wants to use me. Anyone else in the room can get excited about being used by God? And so as I was just sitting and listening, I the Lord led me over to a passage of scriptures, and some of you probably know the story. And so if you would go with me in the book of Acts, and we're gonna go to chapter three, and we're gonna look at a story. And before we get too deep in the story, let's just take a moment and pray. Father, in Jesus' name, Lord, first of all, we thank you for that name. That name that gives us the right, the privilege to come before you. That name and the blood that was shed by Jesus, Lord, gives us the authority to come to you. And so, Father, we thank you that tonight as we come into your presence, Father, coming boldly to receive what you have for us. Father, thank you that every ear is open to receive not what I'm saying, but what you are speaking. Holy Spirit, I get out of the way tonight and I say, You have your way. You have your say in this room tonight. Father, I thank you that every ear hears, every heart receives, and every eye sees, Lord, what it is you would have for us to receive tonight from your word. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Over in the book of Acts, chapter three, we all know the story, but we're gonna read the story, then we're gonna go back and we're gonna dive into the story. How many of you like to just dive into the word of God? And so over in the book of Acts, starting in chapter three, chapter one, it's it's the story of a lay man. It says, Now Peter and John went up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple. Verse 3, who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, when John Peter said, Look at us. So he, being the layman, gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. Now we just got through talking about the name. There's power in the name. And so tonight, for my message title, Peter and John said something that was so profound to this man who was lame. He said, Silver and gold have I none, but what I do have, I give to you. And so the message title tonight is, but what I do have. Turn to your neighbor and say, But what I do have. See, so many times we get so focused and so caught up in all of the whirling, swirling things of life that we miss sometimes, or we expect God to do something one way and He's saying, No, I want to do it this way, but we're so busy being distracted, or we're so caught in our own stuff that we don't have time to minister to anybody else. But how many of you know that before this year is out, God is gonna do some things? I just believe it, just as sure as my name is Joseph Gentry Davis, God is gonna do some things. As a matter of fact, I was sitting at sitting upstairs in our in my in our office at home this evening, and I was reading through this, and as I was, I mean, the Holy Spirit was speaking so quickly I couldn't write it all down, but I kept hearing, I kept feeling like the night rally. How many of you know the story Paul revere when he was riding through the town saying the British are coming, the British are coming, the British are coming? Well, I'm here to tell you tonight the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming. It's coming, and so your milestone is not just for you, it's not just about you, but it's what he's gonna do through you to impact the harvest. The harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming. I'm excited because the harvest is coming, and we get to have a part in it. And so Peter and John said to this layman, look at us. And so he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something. Then Peter said to him, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up. In other words, he snatched him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, being the lame man, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonderment and amazement at what had happened to him. Now let's go back and start at verse one, and let's look at this through the eyes of the harvest and the milestone that God wants to accomplish through you. In verse 1, the first thing we see is Peter and John were headed to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. Now, the ninth hour represents, it was 3 p.m., so it was late afternoon. They were headed to the temple for prayer. And that word hour jumped out at me. And as I begin this reflect on that, the hour, the hour, hour represents time, present time. As I begin to dig into what the word hour means and what it represents, one of the definitions of hour is present time. And I believe the Lord is saying to us at this present time, you must be people of prayer. Now, I'm not saying you don't pray, I'm not saying you don't already have a prayer habit, but I believe there's an intensity that God is calling us to see. Just this morning, Pastor James was talking about forget not all of its benefits. And at the end of the message, he said something. He said, um, sanctify yourselves. Well, what's involved in the process of sanctification? Prayer. And it's not just Lord, okay, here I am. No, there's an intensity, there's an urgency, there's a hunger, there's a desperation almost when you begin to pull away and remove the things that would stand in the way, the things that would hinder, the things that would interrupt or disrupt. And so the first thing we see was that Peter and John were men of prayer. And at this present time, we must be men and women of prayer to clearly hear instructions regarding the harvest. Verse 2, and at a certain, and and a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom the people laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask for arms. Now, there are several things here. First of all, we see that this man's condition was from birth. He'd been that way a long time. How many folks do you know have been in a condition for a long time? Anyone know anybody like that? Been dealing with something for a long time, been struggling with something for a long time. I believe that this is the time we're gonna see God do some things that we've not ever seen before, and he's gonna do it through you. God is ready to deal with some lifelong situations. God is ready to deal with the impossible. This man's situation, when you first walked upon him, he's been this way since birth. That's impossible. That's not gonna change. But God was ready to deal with the impossible. And the lame man, verse 3, whom seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked for alms. Here's something else that I noticed. The ask must have a response. Now, if he didn't think he was gonna receive something, he never would have asked for it. What do you think? This was his daily habit. He went to the temple, sat outside the gate, and he was asking for alms. And so we see here that the ask must have a response. I'm talking to you folks. There are people out there crying for what you have, sighing for what you have, desperate for what you have. They don't have peace, but you you're walking in it, you're wallering in it, you drip it, it's just oozing from you. You ever go somewhere and somebody says, I don't know what it is about you. I don't know what it is. Why you always got so much peace? I remember one time I I was going through this process of losing some weight and I lost a lot of weight, and somebody walked up to me and said, Man, you look good. You look really good. I said, If you think I look good on the outside, you ought to see what God's doing on the inside. Amen. It's important to take advantage of every one of those opportunities. So the ask must already must have a response. And I'm here to tell you tonight that God is sending you to respond. Verse 4, and fixing his eyes on him with John, Peter said, Look at us. Now, there are several things here that we I want to point out. The first thing is this the lay man sees an opportunity. They're gonna meet my needs. John and Peter see an opportunity. We're gonna, they're gonna, the layman sees they're gonna meet my physical needs, they're gonna provide something of tangible. They're gonna, they he had no idea what he was about to get. But there were two different perspectives on what the need, how the need was gonna be met. The lay man says, I'm gonna ask for alms, they're gonna give me for alms, and Peter and John said, Yeah, we got something for you, buddy. It's important to notice, though, they both saw an opportunity. Every situation presents two opportunities. Why is that? Because somebody that you encounter has an expectation and they expect it one way, and you have a different expectation. Actually, you have a different perspective. Why? Because you walk and live in kingdom perspective. Make sure you focus on the right opportunity. Not giving them something, not giving them something that's gonna, you know, I see people all the time, with the sign up, I need food. You know, that's temporary. How about introducing them to Jesus? That'll change their lives and change their situation and get them off of the street. So he saw the opportunity. Make sure you focus on the right opportunity. So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Your response and act of faith and obedience will get the world's attention. The minute they said, look at us, they had his attention. Now, why do you think they did that? They did that in obedience, they did that in faith. Why? They knew what they were called to do, to impact lives, to heal the sick, to share Jesus, to tell them that you don't have to be lame anymore, you don't have to beg anymore. And so your response and act of faith and obedience will get the world's attention and it will deal with the world's expectations. The world, they think they know what they need. How many of you have ever talked to someone and you talk to them and say, Boy, you have no idea what you really need. Anybody know anybody like that? We have what they need. That song, what the world needs now is love, sweet love. No, what the world needs now is Jesus. And with Jesus comes the love, sweet love. With Jesus comes the love, sweet, comes the peace, sweet peace. With Jesus comes healing, with Jesus comes deliverance, with Jesus comes, comes everything that you need. And the world is looking for, oh, here's another song, looking for love in all the wrong places. The world is looking for love in all the wrong places. Anybody know what we're talking about? No, I have never been to country and western music. But the world thinks they know what they need, but the father knows. Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give to you. But what I do have, I give to you. But what I do have, I give to you. Now, underline, but what I do have, and then double underline, I give to you. Now there's an implication right there. Anybody else got that? I have something, but I have to give it away. You mean I can't hold on to what I got? No, it's not for you. But what I do have, I give to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. What you have inside of you is more valuable than money. So much so that the only reason that you have it is to give it away. Well, how do I know that? The scripture says, He who waters, he himself shall be watered. In other words, when you pour out, he pours in. But it doesn't happen until you pour out. You ever try to refill try to fill a glass that's already full? What happens? There's no room. It's full. But what I do have, I give to you. Verse 7. And he took him by the hand and lifted him up and immediately, underline immediately, I believe we are in a season of immediately. I believe we are about to see some things that that are literally gonna shock us. I believe we are about to see some immediately. The Bible calls them suddenly. Immediately, his feet and his ankle bones received strength. When did it happen? Immediately. Now notice it didn't happen. They said, Well, silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, I give to you in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk. And they walked off. It didn't stop there. Now, did you notice that several things happened in the immediate part before the immediate took place? After he said it, he did it. Did you catch that? After he said, Rise up and walk, he reached down and grabbed him to get up to walk. It's not enough to just say it, you gotta do it. You gotta act on it. Faith is a verb. Faith without works is what? Dead. And so you've gotta act on it. And so he said, in the name of Jesus Christ, we just talked about that name, get up. Now the lame man gonna say, but you don't understand. I've been sitting here all this time collecting arms. I really just want your money. Can I have a couple of coins? He said, No, get up. There are people that you know that God wants to bring deliverance to through you, and he's waiting for you to say, get up, and then get them up. Get up. Well, how do we know that's gonna work? First of all, in Mark chapter 16, verses 17 through 18, Jesus said, and these signs will follow those who believe. In my name. Whose name? In his name, the name of in my name, you will cast out demons. They will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will by no means harm, and they will lay hands on the sick and they might recover. Hopefully, they'll recover. Well, try it and we'll see if they recovered. He said they shall recover, shall be in an absolute. So now what that just does is that removes the opportunity for the devil to say, Well, what if they don't get healed? And my response would be, what if they do? See, the healing is not on you, you're not the healer. He's the healer. Healing has already been purchased, you're just the delivery person, the conduit in which he wants to operate through. Why? Because the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming. And he's gonna do a thing through you. So you must exercise your authority. Faith action produces faith results. They want to write that down. Faith action. In other words, without action, there's no results. It's kind of like the no test, no money. Faith action produces faith results. Well, how do we know that? Because immediately, the minute they acted in faith and not only spoke it but did it, they grabbed him and said, Get up. What happened? His feet and ankle bones received strength immediately. Verse 8. So he, the lame man, or had been the lame man, the former lame man, the dude that used to be all messed up. He leaping up, he couldn't stay in the position that he was in because he could no longer be lame. His whole trajectory, his whole situation had been changed. Not only could he not be lame anymore, he couldn't be a beggar anymore. Things just got better. His life just took a turn. So he leaping up, oh wait, my legs got strength. I gotta get up from here. He got up, stood, and walked and entered the temple with them. Now he didn't just walk in casually. My Bible says he went in with them walking, leaping, and praising God. In other words, there was not only a demonstration, but a confirmation of God's power. He was celebrating, he was praising God to healer. Now notice the first place the lay man went after he got healed. Where did he go? The temple. He went to church. Anyone see that? Don't let that dude drive by on you. Why is that? Why? Healing is the dinner bell. Healing is the dinner bell. God wants to use you to ring the dinner bell. Why? Because the harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. And you've been called to ring the dinner bell. He didn't go home. He didn't go tell his family. He went to church. And I'm telling you, when you get busy taking care of God's business, God will get busy taking care of yours. Somebody needed to hear that. Somebody is sitting here right now saying, but Pastor Joseph, you don't understand. I got so much going on in my family, I don't have time to deal with anybody else's family. Get busy taking care of God's business and he will take care of yours. I had a brother, and he wasn't even a blood brother, but he was the only brother I'd ever known. And I was teaching a class and I made the exact same statement. I said, if you will get busy taking care of God's business, God will get busy taking care of yours. And this class was occurring between services. We'd had our first service, I'm in the class teaching, the second service has started, but unbeknownst to me, while I'm teaching the class, second service is going on, and they're in the altar call. And as I'm making the statement, you get busy taking care of God's business and God will take care of yours. I'd been praying for this brother. You remember? I'd been praying for this brother, and I've been witnessing to this brother. He'd already seen the change that God had made him. And I was praying for him, and I was praying for him, and I'm believing for him, and I'm standing with him. And while I'm making that statement, he is walking down the aisle receiving salvation. Get busy taking care of God's business. And he'll get busy taking care of yours. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. And yes, your family's included in the harvest. Somebody just missed an opportunity to shout, Yes, your family's included in the harvest. Demonstration and confirmation of God's power. Celebration. Praising God. The first place the layman went was church. Verse 9. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. What God wants to do is not for you, but it's to be done through you so that others can see. God wants to use you as part of the demonstration. Say, Lord, use me as part of the demonstration. I'm available to you, Father, as part of the demonstration. Verse 10. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging arms at the beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Why do you think they were amazed? Because they had just saw, witnessed what was impossible become possible. They'd just seen it. They'd just witnessed it. Now, verse 11, as the lame man who was healed, headed on, healed, held on to Peter and John, and all the people ran together to them in the porch, which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed. Verse 12. So Peter saw it and he responded to the people, men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? This, folks, has got to become normal. You said that this morning. God's healing power. It's time for his power and the demonstration of this power to become normal. And it's already happening. We just don't know about it. We're already seeing, we're already seeing reports. We were at the pro-family legislative conference with uh Pastor James and Claire, uh, Pastor Claire a few weeks ago, and one of the things they talked about was revival versus awakening. And they were talking about revival on these college campuses since the passing of Charlie Kirk. Now, God didn't plan for Charlie Kirk to die. I don't believe that. But he didn't waste the opportunity. And so there is this movement happening, there's this work happening, and God wants you to be part of it, but we're so busy caught up in our own stuff that we can't we can't be free for that stuff. God is loosening things tonight. Peter said, Why are you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us as though by our own power of godliness we make this man walk? Now there's a point there that we need to make sure that we don't miss. When God starts demonstrating his power through you, you don't get the big head. Don't misappropriate the anointing and the power. Make sure God gets the glory. You are his ambassador. You are his representative. You are his conduit. It's not for you, it's for those that are in need. Peter went on to say, in his name, through faith in his name, has made this man. This is verse 16. And in his name, through faith in his name, it's made this young man strong, whom you seek, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. So not only was there a demonstration, but there was a testimony. There was a testifying to what God had done. And then look at verse 19. This is important. Not only did Peter make sure that the people understood who did it, but he also didn't miss the opportunity to preach repentance. Oh, we can't talk about repentance. You mean we can't tell people to repent? Why not? If they don't, they're going to hell. I remember the day that I was leading my father to the Lord. And this is a long story, but I will make it short. I've been praying for over a year. My parents divorced when I was two. I didn't grow up with my father. And for a while, this was one of the years at Lakewood Church. Pastor John O'steen spent an entire year preaching on prayer. And you'd leave there every Sunday either mad or pumped. One of the two. And I finally began to get it before the Lord and get in his face. Lord, don't let my daddy die without sending somebody. My dad was very sick. He was dealing with cancer. And I began to cry out to the Lord, Lord, don't let him die. Don't let him die. Send somebody to tell him. But I was also saying, Lord, now wait a minute. I I had I had an epiphany one day and I realized that the relationship I never had with my father had been stolen from me through no fault of mine, but it'd been stolen. And I wanted it back. And I even began to tell the Lord, I listen, I began to reason with Lord, I said, Lord, if if if I can't have that relationship here on earth, I want it in heaven, so he's got to go to heaven. He's got to go to heaven. He's got to go to heaven. Send somebody. Well, how many of you know God doesn't have do anything? I'm praying, Lord, send somebody. Ask me who he sent. Me. I ended up in another state. I ended up in the state of New York on company business. And while I was there, I told my boss, I said, I want to spend a few days with my dad, who had just been released from the hospital. He's been very sick. And I want to spend a few days with him. I kind of gave him the short story of the relationship or the lag thereof. And he said to me, You take as much time as you need. The tickets are already covered. We got things covered here. You go, and I'm praying that God's going to do everything you just told me your heart desires. So I get to New York. I do my business. The night that I'm going to fly from Rochester back to Manhattan, I'm in a hotel room and I get on my face before the Lord. I said, Lord, if there's anything standing in the way, if there's anything in my heart, Lord, show it to me. Sanctify yourself. And so I began to praise and thank God. He didn't show me anything, but I just wanted to make sure everything was right. The next morning I get to where my dad was standing. I walk in the room, and supernaturally a love fell on me that I'd never had before, that I'd never experienced before. To love a father that I'd not known. And I'm loving on him, and I'm loving on him like we'd been best buds and friends, and I'd grown up with him all my life when I had not. But that was my dad, and I loved him. And so a couple of mornings into the visit, I'm sitting on the side of the bed. He's sitting on the side of a bed. They brought a hospital bed in for him, and I'm sitting on the side of another bed in the same room with him. We're talking. And I said something as we were talking, and I don't even know why I said it, but it came out of my mouth. I said, if I have disappointed you as a son, I want to ask you to forgive me. I don't even know why I said that. But it changed the atmosphere in the room. Something shifted. And he began to say to me, Well, no, it's not you, it's not you, it's not you. You know, I'm the one, you know, I was not a good father, I was not a present father, I was not a supportive father, I was not all of this. And you know what I had to tell him? I said, you know what? I said, on the day that you stand before God, none of that is going to matter. I said, the thing that's gonna matter is he's gonna ask you, why did you not receive my son Jesus and the forgiveness that came through his death? That's the only thing that will matter. Why? Because those other things were a byproduct of not receiving him. And so we don't have to worry about all of the stuff. Just tell him the message. And you know, I got to lead my dad to the Lord. And I and I remember saying that, and he said, Well, you know, and I said, So let me ask you something. I said, on that day that you stand before God, do you know where you're gonna spend eternity? He didn't know. He did not know. There are people like that today, like that lame man that have been bound and tied up and in that lifelong situation, and they're waiting for you to come to bring him the word of hope and deliverance through Christ Jesus. And so I said to him, let me tell you how simple it is to know where you'll spend eternity. And I shared the plan of salvation with him. And I asked him, Would you like to invite Jesus into your heart? And he said, Yes, I would. And I got to lead my father to the Lord. And so, fast forward a couple of days later, I got to get back to Houston, I got to get back home. I'm sitting on the plane, I'm sitting by a window, I'm sitting there and I'm looking out of the window, and all of a sudden, this wave of emotion just hits me. And I'm trying not to let people see me cry. I'm trying not to let people see my eyes leaking. And I wasn't sad, but I was so happy. I was so overwhelmed with the faithfulness and the goodness of God. And I'm sitting there just thanking God for what he'd done. And I heard him whispering and says, I did that because you asked. He did that because I asked. There are others out there that are asking, are you gonna answer? Are you gonna answer? The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, and we've got to be busy working the harvest. All of the people saw him. And then Peter, and then then Peter and James and John, they said, repent. We cannot miss the opportunity to lead them to salvation. After you've done everything else and they've seen the demonstration and they've witnessed the manifestation of God's power, don't miss the opportunity to lead them to salvation. And it starts with repenting. After they've made a decision, they need to repent. And so there are five things I want to tell you about what you do have. The first one is this what you have is more than enough to accomplish God's plan for the harvest. Look at your neighbor and say, I have more than enough. And you have more than enough. Why? Because the greater one lives on the inside of you, and Ephesians 3.20 says, Now unto him that is able to do, not maybe able to do, not hopefully able to do, but able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or think according to the power that's in work in us. There's more than enough. What you have is more than enough. Here's the second point: God can and will do much with your little. See, basically, what Peter and and John were saying to the layman was we don't have much, we don't have anything, we don't have any money. But what I do have, and if that was their little, wow. If that's your little, wow. God will do, he can and he will. Well, Pastor Joseph, you don't understand. I I'm I'm kind of I'm kind of bashful. I'm not good at speaking, I'm not good at witnessing, I'm not good at testifying. God can and God will. If you just make the heart available, he'll and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you. He's not asking you to write it all out. He's just saying, open your mouth up, make yourself available, and I'll do it. He'll do it. What you have is more than enough. He can and will do much with just a little. We see that in the story of the widow of oil, the widow with the joy of oil. Faith and obedience to the word of God changed that family situation from impossible to possible. It changed the trajectory. She had a little oil. A little. Just enough for a last meal. Here's point number three be willing to use what you have. We see that in the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Pastor Claire talked about that this morning in relation to giving. Now, one of the things over in the uh in the account in Mark chapter 6, verse 30 to 42. Jesus said, How much do you have? How many loaves do you have? Verse 38. He said, How many loaves do you have? Go and see. They came and said, We found out there are five loaves and two fish. Now he couldn't have said, Oh no, that's not enough. What you have on the inside of you, you may look at you, that's not enough. I can't do it. There's enough in you to impact thousands. There's enough in you to impact a generation. Wow. But what I do have. Here's the fourth point. Don't limit God. Can I say that again? Don't limit God. In this season right now, where the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the harvest is coming, the devil's gonna do everything he can do to talk you out of your part. He's gonna do everything he can do to get you to limit God with your mouth, which will then be followed up by your actions. The action of doing nothing. Okay, I'll back up and get off of somebody's toes. Don't limit God. Notice in 2 Kings, going back to the story of the widow, when the man of God told her to go borrow vessels from everywhere, from all of your neighbors, empty vessels, but do not gather just a few. In other words, don't limit God. Don't limit him. He's able to make whatever you got work. And it's gonna work well beyond what you could have ever thought he could, how it could have ever turned out. Don't limit him. You may not understand it, you may not get the hope. Okay, God, I trust you. I don't have to see it, just tell me what to do. Point to me, point there, and I'll go. Give me the words to say and I'll say them. Don't limit God. God's smarter than you and He knows things you don't always know. You know God operates with us in a need-to-know basis. Anybody else know that about God? Am I the only one? Drives me crazy. I asked the Lord about that one time. Lord, how come you won't show me no picture? Because you're gonna mess it up. Okay, don't be looking at me like that. You know what I'm talking about. He said to me, I was driving, praying, and saying, Lord, I need to see a little bit more, I need to know a little bit more. He said, No, I'm gonna tell you what you need to know. He said, Let me ask you something. Did he say, how far do your headlights project? I said, Oh, down the road there to that traffic light. He said, Okay, so what happens when you get there? It projects a little bit farther ahead. That's how I operate. On the need to know. He'll tell you what you need to know when you get where you need to be. Wow. Don't limit him. The greater one lives on the inside of you. And because he does, there's nothing that he cannot do through you. God is not interested in your ability. Anyone ever try to talk God out of something out of a call? Lord, you know I can't do that. I I if you're like Moses, I stood stutter. Moses literally tried to talk himself out of God's call on his life. He was called to deliver the people of Egypt. And he came up with just how many reasons and excuses did he come up with? How many excuses have you come up with? Don't limit God. It's not about your ability, but it's about your availability. Don't limit him. And then the last point is this: don't allow what you see to speak louder than what you have. When Peter and John showed up on the scene, it would have been so easy to look at that lame man and say, we can't help him. He's been this way since birth. When the prophet showed up at the widow's house and she said, They're about to take my sons to jail. Well, what do you want me to do for you? What do you have to work with? Well, I just got a bottle of oil. What? When the disciples came back to Jesus and Jesus said, How much do you have? Lord, we only have five fish. Five loaves and two fish. What? You got jokes, right? You got all these people, you got five loaves and two fish? What? No, he did not allow what he saw to speak louder than what he had. He blessed it. He prayed over it. And then he gave it out. And to just confirm that he's a God of more than enough, how many bushels, baskets did they collect after everyone had eaten? Twelve. Now, if he could do that then, he can certainly do it through you now. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. And God is serious about his harvest. And he's serious about using you. And while you may be thinking my milestone is going to be God's going to do something for me and God's going to do something in me, no, he wants to do something through you. That is part of the milestone testimony. Some of you have milestones that are loading, and you're going to be leading people to the Lord left and right, and you're going to be like, whoa, this is so not me. I'm so out of character. No, no, no, no. You're finally in character. Don't limit him. Don't allow him what you see to speak louder than what's in you. And finally, I'll close with this. As I was sitting and just reflecting and just revisiting and processing everything that I'd read and everything that the Holy Spirit had given me, I heard three things. And I believe this is the word of the Lord for you. The first one was, you have it. The second thing he said is they need it. The third thing he says, now give it. You have it. They need it. Now give it. And as we were standing and worshiping tonight, you know, God operates on a need-to-know basis. And as we were worshiping on the last song, I heard him say, I'm loosening lips. Some of you have had a case of lock jaw. When it's time to witness, your mouth locks up. You get tense. God has just said, just open your mouth, I'll fill it. And not only is he gonna fill it with his word, and you speak the word in the authority that's given you, but he's going to back it up with demonstration. Some of you may be laying on of hands in the grocery store. Wherever it is, just be available. The second thing he said to me tonight was I'm releasing the spirit of boldness. We've been timid long enough. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming. The harvest is coming.
