The Atmosphere For Miracles | Pastor John Greiner
In this message, the pastor teaches on creating an “atmosphere for miracles” by praying for spiritual “rain” in the “latter rain” season (Zechariah 10:1; Hosea 6:1–3). He explains that prayer doesn’t just request outcomes—it prepares the atmosphere for signs, wonders, healings, and harvest, pointing to Acts as a pattern: sustained prayer led to Pentecost power, bold witness, and multiplying salvations. Using multiple moments from Jesus’ ministry, he shows how Christ protected miracle flow by removing unbelief—taking people aside, clearing rooms, and controlling who had access—then calls believers to do their part through prayer, faith-filled environments, and obedient action (testimony, gentle ministry, sharing the gospel).
Let's lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil madly say this together. Say, Heavenly Father, it's true. I'm here by divine appointment. Nobody made me come. I chose to come on Sunday night because I'm hungry and thirsty for more of you. And now, Father, I just thank you for this word that's coming forth. I open my heart to receive all that you have for me. Build my faith so I can help build that atmosphere for miracles in Jesus' name. Amen. Well, let's look in uh Zechariah chapter 10. And uh both of my foundational scriptures happen to be in the Old Testament. And they call these the minor prophets. I don't know so much about that. When I meet them, I'm not gonna say, oh, Zach, you're a minor prophet. Pretty sure he didn't sound to be minor, but anyway, he had revelation in Zechariah 10, verse 1 ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain. And so the Lord shall make bright clouds and give them showers of rain to everyone grass in the field. Pray for rain in the time of the latter rain. He'll make lightnings. Bright clouds mean lightnings. So yeah, you know, when you when you see lightnings and certain kinds of clouds, then they're showers. He's talking about a more than just a gentle rain. He's talking about a flood. Showers of rain to everyone grass and a field. That speaks of the harvest. Amen. Alright, and then Hosea, chapter 6, that's back right after the book of Daniel is Hosea. Another minor prophet. I don't think he's minor. Verse 1. Come and let us return unto the Lord, for he hath torn and he will heal us. He hath smitten and he will bind us up. Let me, before I go on, you know, the Old Testament's progressive revelation. So he's teaching of the revelation he had, not much revelation about the devil's uh well, but it's it's in the Bible that God did it. Well, God, you've got to read the whole Bible and realize that God doesn't tear and God doesn't smite. Okay. And uh so uh he allows people to be torn, he allows people to be smitten when they get away from his covenant, when they get away from his word. So I want to put that out of the way. He will heal us, see? He hath smitten and he will bind us up. And uh and after two days will he revive us. In the third day, he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know if we follow on to know the Lord, his going forth is prepared as the morning, and he shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and the former rain unto the earth. So the atmosphere for miracles. You know, this is 2025, it's a year of milestones, and uh really is just another word for miracles. Rain is the moving of the Holy Ghost. You know, uh on the day of Pentecost, after they came out of the upper room, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. They all began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. And they went down, and there were people from every nation under heaven gathered in Jerusalem, and they all heard them speak in their own language, the wonderful works of God. God did a miracle. And you know, you could, you know, you you could think of a miracle either way. You could see I I believe that it was a miracle of hearing. I I really don't think they were speaking in the in in a language, they were speaking in tongues. And I don't believe it was a message in tongues because it it they were speaking the wonderful works of God. They weren't they weren't speaking to any for a message or anything like that. So they all were speaking in these different dialects, these different languages. I believe there was a miracle of hearing. Now you could differ with me. I mean, we could then argue and let God Jesus settle it when we get to heaven one of these days. But anyway, that that was a miracle. So Peter standing up, so he was on the ground drunk. And they said, all these people said, What meaneth this? You know, how can we hear these? They don't, they're not from my country. How could they do that? How could they? What meaneth this? Oh, these men are drunk. He said, No, he stood up, he said, These men are not drunk as you suppose, but this is that spoken by the prophet Joel. And the prophet Joel talked about the rain, the former and the latter rain. He said, This is that, this is rain, this is the former and the latter rain. And really, in the amplified, it's the beginning of the rain. It's the beginning of the former and latter rain. So that was the beginning of the church age. We're living now, and in when we just read here in Hosea, he said, you know, after two days will he revive us, and the third day he will raise us up. Well, we're in the third day. One day, you know, we're in the third century after Jesus. I mean, it's been, we've rolled over now into the 21st century. We're in the third day. I mean, you know, this thing, well, I don't have any dates for you, but we we're living in the season of the return of the Lord. We're seeing prophecy fulfilled almost on a daily basis. We're seeing nation rise against nation. We're seeing all kinds of division. I thought that was gonna be unity. No, the Bible teaches judgment, and judgment is separation. He's separating the chaff from the wheat, he's separating the you know, the wheat from the tares. He is, you know, Jesus is coming back for a harvest. But there's gonna be a group of people that are not saved, they're gonna be here for the tribulation. So uh we're living in that time. And so, what's it gonna take? It takes rain. Everybody say rain. We need more rain. I mean, if we're gonna have a harvest, we're gonna have to have some rain. And uh he said in Zechariah, pray for rain at the time of the latter rain. Well, guess what? Now's the time. Now's the time to be praying for rain. Uh and let's pray for what? An atmosphere for miracles. That's just another way of saying praying for an atmosphere for rain. I mean, you know, the atmosphere's got to be right for rain. You know, if the atmosphere is not right for rain, you're not gonna get any rain. You know, I grew up, you know, I was born here in Houston, but then in nine in third grade, between summer between third grade and fourth grade, we'd moved down to South Texas. I'm glad we did because I wouldn't have met Gladys. So met Gladys and Refurio. And uh, and uh, you know, I don't know if you know this, but down there they get half the rainfall of Houston. Houston averages something like 50, 60 inches of rain a year, and down in Corpus they get 25 inches of rain. There's no comparison between Corpus and Galveston. Here they're both on the Gulf of America. I still love saying that, the Gulf of America. Still, and maybe you're not used to it, but I'm getting used to the Gulf of America. I like that. They're both on the Gulf, and yet we get twice as much rain in Houston as they do. You know, it's just, I don't know what it is. And then, you know, but then you move inland, you know, you get like here in Houston, if you you go west and go, you know, about halfway between here and San Antonio, little little places south of San Antonio. I my aunt lived in a little place called Rungi. I don't know if you've ever heard of Corn City and Kennedy and all in there. I mean, those they've got some really great farms, but you know, they have the they have no, it just seems like one, they just don't ever get any rain. I mean, it's just always baked out in the summertime. If you drive over there, it's all green on the side of the road. When you get to Cornish County, it's all shriveled, you know, and uh it's just dried out. They uh they don't have the atmosphere for rain. You know, we can pray in the atmosphere for rain. In fact, he challenges us to do that. Because we're gonna need miracles to reap this final harvest. It's gonna take, you know, miracles, signs and wonders and healings are God's dinner bell. This is what attracts people to get saved. We're gonna have to have all the bells and whistles, as they say, rolling out. So we've got a part to play in it. Everybody say rain equals miracles. And so the word says that in the time of the latter rain, that time is after two days and in the third day. Well, that that that that's right now. We've had the two days, and it's uh it's already we're already 25 years into this, almost 26 years into the third day. And uh Jesus will come as the rain. He will come as the rain. That tells me that the atmosphere for rain is the same atmosphere that that that's gonna bring Jesus back for the church. I mean, I that I'm kind of motivated, aren't you? Years ago when I used to travel in full gospel businessmen. Anybody ever heard of the full gospel businessman Fellowship International? Some most of you have. I'm a lifetime member. And uh, but I don't go to the meetings anymore. God told me, okay, concentrate on church, concentrate. So I moved out of that and quit going to meetings and quit traveling the circuit. I gave my testimony before I'd go and you know, minister in those meetings. But I heard a guy say, a man again makes me mad every time somebody says, uh, come, come, come, Lord Jesus. I'm I'm praying that he holds up. I've got a whole lot more that I want to get done. I want to thump him on the side of the head. I mean, why don't you get with God? God said, Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus. I mean, we ought to we ought to be praying for his return. We ought to be praying for the rain. The rain is what's going to take care of it. And take care of the timing, of his timing coming. So prayer prepares the atmosphere for signs, wonders, and miracles. We get the clouds with lightning. You know, in clouds without any lightning, you're not going to get any rain. You're not, you know, you might get a little, you know, a little sprinkle, but that's not what it takes. We'd need the former and the latter rain together. That tells me that the crop is going to be so huge that the regular ladder rain. See, in in Israel, it's an agricultural society, agricultural economy, I should say. And their economy depended on the rain, and they had to have two rains. They had to have former rain, which was planting season. You had to get enough rain to make the soil have some moisture so that when you broke it open and put a seed in there, there would be enough residual moisture to germinate the seed, and the seed would shoot the roots downward and the shoot upward, and then you'd have a crop. But then, along about, you know, here it's growing up. The crop is growing up. Now you're going to have to have the harvest rain. And if you don't have the former rain at the right amount at the right time, you won't, your, your, your planting won't work. You'll just throw your seed in there and it won't grow. And you could, but if it does work and it's growing along, then if you don't get the latter rain at the proper time and the proper amount, it can affect the harvest. In other words, you know, if it's too late, then you're going to have a shriveled-up harvest. It's going to be very little. If it's too early, the same thing. If it's too much, you can't really harvest anything. It's all mud. It's all, you know, messed up. So they had to obey, you know, the children of Israel had to walk in covenant with God. They had to strictly obey the covenant. And that way the atmosphere would be ideal for them to financially be blessed. Are y'all with me now? Well, it's kind of the same way. I mean, if the church is an obedience and full of the Holy Ghost and doing what the church is supposed to do and praying for the rain and praying for the atmosphere for miracles, I know God is going to do his part. He's going to back us up, isn't he? Glory to God. So prayer prepares the atmosphere for signs and wonders and miracles. And we get the clouds with lightning. We get the massive amounts of rain. I mean, the latter rain was something like maybe 12, 14 inches. It didn't all fall in one day. It just fell over a period of time, and then you had a wonderful harvest. But think about it needing the former and the latter rain together, which is what we're praying. We're praying, we're praying really the only thing that would make it sound right is because the massive amount of harvest is going to demand both sets of rain at one time. We need a lot of rain, which means we need a lot of miracles. We need a lot of miracles. I said, we need a lot of miracles. Man, they need miracles in China. The Chinese communist government is arresting pastors, is shutting churches down, throwing these guys in prison, and uh they're cracking down the same over in, you know, in other places, in Bali and Indonesia and Malaysia and all these places where we're traveling and doing these business deals and doing these tariff deals and we're signing deals. But you know, I was really gratified today that I saw that Trump signed an executive order naming the Muslim Brotherhood of Terrorist Organizations. So he's not, he's doing business with Muslim countries, but he's not lightening up on the terrorist side of it. I know, I know he sat with that head of Saudi Arabia, and I'm sure he probably talked to him about their sponsorship of some of these things because they they're the ones that sponsor a lot of this radical Islam. And we're not gonna have Sharia law in America. We're not gonna have it, and we're gonna shut it down where it is. They do have it. They have it in Dearborn, Michigan. They have it, they have it in different places, these places where they've dumped all these immigrants, and we're ruining our country by adopting these false religions coming in our country because they'll never assimilate. They never will. They're not here to assimilate, they're here to conquer us. How dumb can you get and allow this kind of stuff to come in? We don't need them, we don't want them. Let them stay where they're at, and we can evangelize them where they are. I've heard that. Oh, well, we just evangelized. No, you're not, they're not here to be evangelized, they're here to kill you. You better understand something. They're not here to be evangelized, not how God worked. He said go. He didn't say, wait until they come to you. He didn't say that. We're supposed to be going to them. Instead, what are they doing? They're coming to us. Think it's all backwards, don't you? So, some Bible examples about the atmosphere. Uh, we can just go through these. Mark chapter 6. Y'all want to study a little bit? Let's study. Mark 6, verse 5. Jesus in his own hometown of Nazareth, and it says in verse 5, he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk and healed them. One version says of minor ailments. And he marveled why because of their unbelief. So he could dare do no, he couldn't. Didn't say he wouldn't. This is Jesus. I mean, Jesus, man, he had lots of miracles. He raised the dead, he opened blind eyes, he opened deaf ears, he raised the dead. You know, he did all these things, and in his own hometown, he couldn't do anything much except a few minor ailments because of their unbelief. The atmosphere was wrong. They had no atmosphere for miracles. Unbelief charged the atmosphere. What did he do about it? He sent forth the disciples two and two to go about the whole countryside teaching and preaching and healing. See, the at the atmosphere of unbelief can be cured with teaching. Devils can come out with preaching. Jesus' whole ministry consisted of teaching, preaching, and healing. We get the idea that he would just come in and work all kinds of miracles, you know, and and and cause people. No, he taught and he preached. And then he healed. And so the people that received the teaching and the preaching got the healing. The people that didn't receive the teaching, preaching didn't get the healing. In most cases. Now there's some uh some examples in there, but that's why 12 out of the 19 healing miracles that Jesus performed all talk about the faith of the person receiving the healing. So it's important. So uh the everybody say the atmosphere wasn't there. So uh in Mark chapter 4 is what is where it talks about this. Mark chapter 4, verse uh 23. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear, see. You've got to hear the gospel preached and taught. You've got to hear. If you've got ears to hear, let him hear. Hear doesn't mean just hear with your ears, it means to get it down in your spirit and persuade you that what you're hearing is true, and your faith will be built to receive what's being preached. If any man have it, so not everybody has ears to hear when the atmosphere for miracles is not there. And the atmosphere for miracles is is you know can be prepared through prayer. We're told that. All right. So uh teaching, preaching, and and and healing removed unbelief and the atmosphere changed. Uh let's look at Mark chapter uh seven, I think it is. Mark seven thirty-three. Real interesting. Talking about the atmosphere for miracles. And he was in Tyre and Sidon and Betheta. You know, Tyre, Sidon, Betheta, some of those cities, I mean, they they are almost as bad as Nazareth. I mean, they they rejected Jesus. It was a poor atmosphere. They were they were stealed in religion, they didn't, they didn't accept Jesus. And uh in verse 33, 32, they bring unto him one that was deaf and had an impediment of his speech, and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. And Jesus took him aside from the multitude. See, he took him aside and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit and touched his tongue, and looking up to heaven, he sighed and said unto him, Ephrata, which that is, be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plain. And he charged them that they should tell no man. Don't tell anybody. Don't tell a single person in this place, because they don't deserve to hear it. They didn't provide the atmosphere for this healing. They're not so they're gonna make up, they're gonna make up a bunch of stories about how he wasn't really deaf and he wasn't really dumb, and and they're gonna turn it all around and don't tell them anything. See, we think Jesus, we just think he's a marshmallow. Listen, Jesus paid attention to the atmosphere. And if the atmosphere wasn't there, he protected, he would pull aside the person that got healed and not let them mix in with an unbeliever. Are y'all with me now? He took him aside. Don't tell anybody. Don't tell them. They don't deserve it. I've already, I've been there and they did, they rejected it, so they're not good at they're not gonna get anymore. They're not gonna get anymore. Man, I mean to tell you, there's people, there's some people on the earth right now that they've had chance after chance. They're coming down to the final hoorah. They've only got about this much time to change their stupid minds. Let's look at Mark chapter 5, J. Iris's daughter. Oh, I just love Jesus. I love studying how he ministered. I love studying how he managed people and how he handled his ministry. And uh so in uh Mark chapter 5, verse 23, there becometh one of the rulers of the synagogue. See, he's one of the religious ones. Jairis by name, and when he saw him, he fell at his feet. That's a good sign. And he besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death. I pray thee, come and lay your hands on her that she may be healed, and she shall live. I mean, there's his faith speaking. There's his faith speaking. He knows he's got faith. So Jesus follows him home, and of course, on the way, the woman with the issue of blood shows up. And you can imagine this guy, because he's got time. I mean, his little daughter's about to die, so he's he's looking at the clock and he's just hoping that his daughter is still alive, and now Jesus is taking time to minister to this woman with the issue of blood and all of that. And finally she gets healed, go your way with your uh daughter, your faith had made you whole. And now he's on his way, finally, to where the daughter is. And uh and so he started going down the road and he only let Peter, James, and John go with him. He didn't let the whole group, just Peter, James, and John. He didn't take the entourage. He didn't take 50, 60, 70 people with him, he took three. He had 12 apostles, but then you had the main three, and some some things he would leave the others behind and just take his three. And this is one of them. And he comes to the house, verse 38, to the ruler of the synagogue, sees the tumult, and then that wept and wailed greatly. And when he was come in, he said unto them, Why make you this ado and weep? He the damsel's not dead, but sleeps. She's just asleep. And they laughed him to scorn. Now just think about that. Here they are weeping and crying and screaming, and the next thing next moment they're laughing in scorn. I mean, how fake can you get? I mean, do you really want them hanging around? Bunch of fakes. They laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, I mean, he cleaned the house. He ran them out of the house. Get out of here. I can't minister with you fools in here. Leave. Don't let the door hit you. Listen, Jesus didn't suffer unbelief. He did not allow it. He didn't, he hates it. They had these these are these are these are Jewish people that are connected to the ruler of the synagogue, and they ought to know better, but they don't. He knows better. The ruler of the synagogue knew better, but they didn't know. They chose not to know better. They chose to be full of religion. So he put them all out, and he takes the father and the mother of the damsel and them that were with him. Well, who was with him? Peter, James, and John. That's all. He didn't have the whole group. See, what is he doing? He is controlling the atmosphere for miracles. I mean, if you want miracles, you've got to get rid of the unbelief. You've got to lock out the doubters. He took the damsel by the hand and said unto her, Tileth a kumi, which is being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise and straightway. The damsel arose and walked, for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And he charged them straightly, Don't tell anybody about this. You know, Jesus could blow your mind. He did not say, Let's print up flyers. Let's go to all the places around and let's put the flyers out. Get her a picture. Let's do a Facebook post. Come on, let's do a selfie. Don't tell anybody. They don't deserve to hear it. They don't even deserve to know about it. Do not tell them. Woo! He said about this place, Bethsaida, and also Tyran Sidon, he said, you know what? Sodom and Gomorrah would have long time ago repented in sackcloth and ashes if they had seen what you have seen. Woo! Man, it was pretty bad in Sodom and Gomorrah. So bad it got destroyed. Man, talk about an indictment. I'm talking about the atmosphere for miracles, folks. How many of you want to see more miracles? I mean, I'm not willing. I mean, this is this, we're in the season, we're in the time right now. We need we need them. And we've got something to say about it. It's not all up to God. Look how Jesus controlled the atmosphere. He controlled it. He didn't let these numbskulls control the atmosphere. He ran them out of there. Are you with me now? All right, we've got one more here. Y'all want to hear another one? Mark 8. Verse 22. Thank God for Mark. You know, he puts all the real controversial stuff in here. Mark 8, verse 22. And he cometh the Beth Said. See, that's not a favorite. That's not a favorite city of Jesus. But he went there. And they bring a blind man unto him and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of town. He didn't stay there. He went out of past the city limits and out to Tim Buck II. He did not stay in town. He led him out of town. And he took the blind man by the hand, led him out of town, and when he spit on his eyes, can you imagine what they'd have done if they'd have seen that? Spit on his eyes. And put his hands upon him. He asked him if he saw anything. And he said, Well, I see men as trees walking. And he put his hands again on him. He said, See, Jesus prayed, he laid hands on him twice. Laid his hands on him again and made him look up and he was restored and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to the house saying, Don't go into town, don't tell it to anybody. Don't tell anybody in town that what happened to you. Keep it to yourself. Oh, come on, lift your hand right now. I mean, he controlled the atmosphere. And if you rejected what he was saying, that was the last time you're going to hear or see him. He has not changed. Jesus Christ the same. Yesterday, today, and forever. We've got to start thinking more like Jesus thinks about these things. These things are holy, these things are precious, they're rare, and we need to protect the atmosphere when we're ministering like that. Glory to God. So, really, uh in the book of Acts, when you think about it, and we can just go down the list, all the rain came from the result of prayer. So remember, you know, when Jesus left the earth, and he told them, don't, you know, go into all the world, preach the gospel, but don't leave home without it. Don't leave Jerusalem without the Holy Ghost. You need to be filled with the Holy Ghost. He's going to fill, He's, you're going to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. How many days hence? And so they were on the day of Pentecost. That's when the church was really born. 120. Came out speaking in other tongues. Well, how did that happen? Well, they had prayed. They had prayed for 10 days in the upper room. Prayer released that manifestation at a specific time, and the timing was perfect. It was the day of Pentecost, which is a Jewish feast. And so they had that Moed, that appointed time, that Cairo. In the Greek, the Hebrews Moed, appointed time. God does, He doesn't do random, He does things by appointment. He's not a random God. He's not going to just dream it up. Are y'all with me now? So, Acts chapter 1, they prayed for 10 days, and the result of Acts chapter 2 was 3,000 got saved on the day of Pentecost. Many of those people were the ones that said, crucify him, crucify. Talking about I'm talking about rain now. Rain changed everything in Jerusalem. And then in Acts 2.42, the Bible says they continued in prayer, you know, in the fellowship of the of the apostles and doctrine and fellowship and breaking of bread and in prayers. Acts 2.42. They continued in prayer. That the church was built. All those people are praying. And what happens next? Acts chapter 3. Peter and and John go down to the gate beautiful, it's hour of prayer. And see that man that's paralyzed, and he gets healed. That's rain. And people, they come running. How in the world? What happened? 5,000 men got saved. If every one of them was married and had kids, I mean, it could have been 15,000, 20,000 people got saved, right? One miracle. They've been praying. It changed the atmosphere in Jerusalem again. Are y'all with me now? Then they get persecuted for what happened. How dare you be preaching and teaching in the name of Jesus? We forbid you to do that. And they didn't. Acts chapter 4. Lord, behold, they're threatening. And grant with all boldness that you may, that we may preach your word. Did you confirm your word with signs and wonders and miracles? They had a prayer meeting and the place where they prayed was shaken. And the Bible says that they they uh that they uh went out and and they uh demonstrated uh such power. Let's look at it at Acts chapter 4. Uh it it continued with even more signs and wonders and miracles because of prayer. Everybody say prayer. See, it set the atmosphere for miracles. I want you to see this. And when they had prayed, verse 31, the place was shaken together where they were assembled together, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness, and the multitude that believed were one heart, one soul, and so forth and so on. Verse 33, and with great power, you know, great dunamis, gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. So they they demonstrated, they they did great signs and wonders and miracles. Are y'all with me now? Everybody say prayer. See, prayer released the miracle uh atmosphere. Great grace, great prosperity, great power. So everybody say prayer. So the atmosphere for miracles, number one, let's let's get some action items here. Number one, we need to pray. And we regularly on Thursday night, I'll just regularly have them pray over Zechariah 10, 1. I'll I'll regularly, uh, we'll we'll regularly have a statement. God told me he was about to send a hot, dry wind across this region, and and people that are drying up in dead churches are going to get so thirsty for the real move of God, they're gonna rise up and they're gonna start looking for water. And he and God told me this 25 years ago, he said, your job is to make sure there's plenty of water when they get to Glorious Way Church. Yeah, I mean, you better be, you better be, no, you better have something for them when they show up instead of a you know a good slogan. And so we've been praying that, we've been praying that revelation. We've been praying for rain in the time of the latter rain. I'm telling you, but we need more miracles. Cry out for miracles. You know, a miracle, uh, a miracle, really, technically, a miracle is, you know, we have faith, anointing, and glory. That's the access that we have to miracles. So I teach on faith all the time because that's something that we all have, and we can we can receive miracles by faith, but what I'm talking about tonight is a little different. It's really about the anointing, it's about the gifts of the Spirit. And the gifts of the Spirit, as we know, are as the Spirit wills. But that doesn't mean that we can't pray for them. It doesn't mean when I'm praying for a miracle, I don't say, God, give me the gift of miracles. That wouldn't be really right for me to ask God to give me that. I pray that we have it in the church. Well, how do you do that? Well, act 1 Corinthians 12, 31, earnestly desire the best gifts. And right now, in the time we're in, the best gifts that we need right now are the gifts of miracles, the gifts of healings. We need, we need rain. We need miracle power. Not just so we can uh be famous, no, because we need that for the harvest. I mean, it's gonna take a whole lot of convincing for people. They've been they've been lied to, they've been really literally brainwashed. This America has had a psyops performed on its younger folks. I mean, for decades, we have been lied to by the media day and night and day and night. And then you get on social media, you're lied to day and night. You don't even know whether a post is true or not. You don't even know if you're looking at a video that's real. You have no idea. You you have no idea. AI has already invaded the social media. Think about what our kids are going through. They don't even know which end is up. If you've got children, you better start monitoring their online. If you don't, you're gonna lose them. Don't say that. Well, I'm just telling you what cause and effect. It's cause and effect. I mean, you cannot trust what's online right now. You can't trust it. You don't know whether you're watching something that's real. I mean, the joke, you know, they have the jokes. We know they're funny. I mean, you know, you gotta give it to Trump. He's got a team, and he put Mexican sombreros on the Democrats, and they just went crazy. Well, he's making fun of them. You care more about immigrants than you do about American citizens. You know, and so he's making fun of them, and he had them singing, you know, uh La Cucaracha and everything. It was hilarious. You've got to have a sense of humor. I knew that wasn't real. I knew that that was all made up. But what about the next one down the list? What about the next one down the list? You don't know if it's real. You really don't. You don't know if they actually said that or not. They're actually able to create verbiage and make their mouth move and you think they said something, they didn't say it. Are y'all with me now? So pray for miracles, cry out for them. We need miracles right now because that is what authenticates our message. You can't argue when people's eyes are open, when deaf ears are open, when cancer is healed. You can't argue with it. You you might not really grab a hold of it, but I'm telling you, it makes a big difference. Come on, lift your hands right now. We need more miracles. Amen. Can we agree on that? And so we ought to cry out for them. We ought to ask God, hey God, we need them. He's you said pray for them, we're praying for them. And the second thing is to remove all unbelief, both for yourself and for those that you minister to. I mean, really, sometimes people need a little instruction. I mean, you know, don't just come up to people and start trying to pray for their healing or pray to help them. I mean, sometimes you've got to have a conversation with somebody and talk to them and give them, and I don't mean that we need to quote scripture. Let's be careful, not make people uncomfortable. It's learn to read body language, learn to see how people are doing and be gentle. You know, you don't need to be a fire hose. You can sprinkle, praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Well, glory to God, sister, at the beauty shop. Oh, you're disappointed. Well, you know, why can't we just pray? Jesus said, if we agree in prayer, would you mind if I pray for you? And just take her hand. You can be so gentle and she won't even know what hit her. You know, you can pray like that. Guys, you can pray at the water, at the cooler or whatever, water cooler. So uh some people, some they just need a little instruction. You know? That's why I teach on faith and healing and authority of the believers so often, so you'll have it in you that you don't have to be concerned, you know, you don't have to doubt yourself. You've got the goods. I I was at a full gospel businessman, and we we did not believe in retreats, we had advances. We didn't believe in retreating. So we had a men's advance. It was at Moe Ranch on the Guadalupe River in the hill country, and a really nice facility, and there's about 150 men there. We got there on a Friday night, and early Saturday morning, I got it way before the chickens, and I was walking alongside the uh talking about praying for miracles. I'm talking about the atmosphere for miracles. And so I was walking beside this the Guadalupe, and it's dark. I mean, there were some lights in the distance, but it was pretty dark where I was, but I was on a kind of a sidewalk. And all of a sudden, I had never had this experience. I hadn't been saved but a couple of years, and I never had this happen. I knew about it, knew of it. But travail came upon me. I just hit my knees and I began to weep and I began to cry so hard. I mean, from way down deep, I just, I mean, I was just just, I didn't know what I was crying about. It was like it was the worst crying and grief, I think, you know. And I recognized, hey, this is the Holy Ghost, this is travail, something's happening. So something is gonna happen to somebody. I I thank God I'd had some exposure to what happened. And so as I did that for maybe 10, 15 minutes, and I got up, dried my eyes, and I said, wow, that was something. So then the sun came up, and I ran into this guy, and he's tall and thin, and uh began to talk to him, you know, and and he said, and and I said, Well, where where are you from? Uh and I said, Well, I'm from Houston. He said, Well, I I I said, he said, I just I just moved back from Houston. I said, Well, where are you living now? I'm living in Utopia. I said, Oh, okay. Well, well, my brother lives in Vanderpool right up the field. I've been to Utopia many times. I know all about Utopia. That's kind of cool. See, I mean, here, what's the chance of me running into somebody that like that? I mean, just I you know, I knew. See, I knew in my spirit, uh-oh, this is too close for comfort. He he's he needs something. I said, well, then why did you move back from Houston to Utopia? I mean, why you moved from Utopia to Houston? He said, Yeah, I was a male carrier, but I wanted to get into the carpet cleaning business, and and uh God uh burned my truck up and I was broke and I had to move back uh move back home to utopia. I said, what do you mean God burned your truck up? He said, Well, the thunderstorm came and lightning hit and hit my truck and burned it all up. I mean, you know, God burned my truck up. I just figured God didn't want me to do that. I said, God didn't burn your truck. It made me mad. I said, God didn't burn your truck up, the devil burned your truck up. And I mean, it was like I slapped him right across the face. I mean, he looked like I had just slapped him. I mean, he just went, is it he blinked, you know, and like this, and he was still looking at me, but not focused. He was and then he went, and I thought, uh oh, he's fixing a swing. You know, I better watch out. And kind of got a little lower and a little tensed up, you know, so I could duck. And he's taller than me by six inches. Not very, he's like a string bean. He's not a big guy. I wasn't afraid of him, but I mean, I didn't know what was you're right, just like that. And I said, Whew, man, I'm glad you agreed with me. And I got to minister to him about the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I mean, that's not God telling you anything. I mean, you know, if I were you, I'd pursue that. Make sure you're on God's plan, you know. And so uh that morning he came down the, we had a service, a chapel service, and he came down the altar and got saved that morning. Gave his heart to Jesus. That night he came up for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I was the one that laid hands on him. I've never had anybody before or since ever react like he did. I mean, he took off praying in the Holy Ghost so loud. I mean, it was it was ricocheting off the canyon. I mean, across the river. I mean, it was amazing. I mean, he got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Oh, come on. I'm telling you, we change the atmosphere. Change the atmosphere. Don't let unbelief be part of the thing. Get rid of it. And then the last one is act, obedience. The book of Acts was written because the apostles acted. And also the believers acted. I think about when persecution arose because of the uh of Stephen being uh martyred, great persecution raised. And all the church was scattered abroad except the apostles. And so you had uh, you know, uh Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ. You know, he he he obeyed all those people, obeyed God. They went everywhere preaching the word. All those believers. The apostles stayed behind, but all the believers went preaching the word. They must have been equipped. See, they they acted in obedience. I mean, you're all equipped. We had equipped night the other night. It was that was a powerful service, you know, to give uh uh, you know, a night of praise and thanksgiving to our wonderful volunteers, and we got give each of them a gift, and we awarded some of them special awards, and I preached the God, you know, preached the word to them and laid hands on all of them, and it was a great night. You're all equipped, though. You're you're sitting here tonight, you're equipped to do what I'm talking about, to change the atmosphere and cause there to be an atmosphere for miracles. And so, uh, you know, think about Stephen and Philip, they've responded. They moved and cooperated with the atmosphere. They laid hands on the sick. And uh we are we can do the same thing. Give your testimony, tell people. You know, we're coming up on a milestone Sunday, and you'll have a chance if you'll get online. We've got an aid for you to help you compose what God did for you in a concise way. And it will help you. You can tell others. You don't just have to tell your church. You now you've got a testimony. How many of you have got a milestone that God has done for you? And you've got a see, that's a testimony you can give out outside. We want to hear it in here, but it's gonna be effective out there. That's part of your repertoire. That's something you can tell people when you hear all this bad news, and people start complaining about how they're broke and how they're this and they're sick and they're you can you can testify what God has done for you. Hallelujah. You change the atmosphere. And uh, you know, if you do your part, God will do his part. He will confirm his word with signs and wonders and miracles. He'll send the rain. Come on, lift your hands right now. Father, we thank you that at the time of the latter rain, Lord, we pray for your rain to fall. Thank God for the signs and wonders and miracles that are being released. And they're being released right here in the United States of America, right here, right now, Lord. This this country is not only beginning to experience a revival, it's experiencing an awakening. And boy, we need the signs and wonders and miracles. We need the signs. Lord, we just go on record in the name of Jesus, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we thank you. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Come on, let's just lift our hands. Father, we thank you for the atmosphere. Thank you. The atmosphere in Houston is changing. You know, I was thinking about the atmosphere in this nation and how God has begun, you know, it's been moving gradually. And yes, the devil has risen up to resist it, but really the atmosphere in this country is changing so drastically. And especially since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I mean, it's like lightning. It's like lightning has struck. And things are changing rapidly. I mean, things are accelerating. Do y'all sense that? I mean, there there's an acceleration, there's a sense of urgency that the Holy Ghost is bringing into what we're doing with my God votes. I mean, I mean, we've got a total of 26 states in play. Not all of them have committed yet, but at the end of it, all the all if all the interested ones sign up, we will have we've got 26. I mean, that's that's over half the country, folks. And we've been going for three years. I mean, that's acceleration. I don't, I mean, there's no man did that. I mean, that's God doing something. That's the Holy Ghost moving, that's an atmosphere that's changing, that people are demanding. Oh no, we've got to have prayer in our capital. Boy, it needs to rain in Austin. It needs to rain in all these capital cities. It needs to rain the Holy Ghost. And you know what it's done that with? We've had people healed, we've had people saved. I mean, one legislator gave his heart to Jesus in the hallway. I mean, listen, man, God is moving. Oh, come on, let's lift our hands right now. Thank you, Lord, for this change in atmosphere. We're gonna seize the moment, we're not gonna let this get past us.
