Speak Your Way To Health | Pastor John Greiner

Pastor John Greiner

In this episode, “Speaking Your Way to Health,” the speaker unpacks Mark 11:23 and the faith of Abraham to show how closely our words are tied to our physical wellbeing. Rather than accepting sickness as normal or inevitable, listeners are taught that God has already provided healing in His Word. The message walks through different biblical ways God heals (laying on of hands, prayer of faith, gifts of healings), then zeroes in on the daily, practical power of a “systematic confession” of God’s promises over our bodies.

SPEAKER_00:

Lift your Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad. Say this together. Say, Heavenly Father, I thank you that you've made a way. You sent your way to us to chart our course. We're following the way, the truth, and the life. We have success. We have health. We have victory over the enemy in Jesus' name. Amen. You can be seated. And let's turn to the book of Hagen. I mean Mark 11. Some people think that he wrote that verse because he preached on it so long. Mark 11. And even so, there's so many Christians, and I don't know all of you personally. Some of you have background that's that's uh this might be news. You know, you might be hearing some things you haven't heard before. Well, then it's seed. If you've heard it before, then it's, you know, it's water for the seed you already have. Mark 11, 23, Jesus is speaking. And uh in my Bible it's all read. So he said it. I didn't say it. Jesus said it. Verily I say unto you, talking to the disciples, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart. Shall not doubt in his heart. See, lock out the doubt, not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. He shall have. See, Jesus said, You can have what you say. The Bible teaches you can have what you say. In the positive or in the negative. It works both directions. So then we we don't lock out the doubt. Let's believe God's word, and that's what we want, right? We don't want, you know, we don't want the negative, we want what God said we could have, right? All right, and then in Romans chapter 4. Uh this is talking about Abraham. We can just read back up to verse 16 because I think it's where we're trying to get the subject and the verb and all that lined up when he's talking about he. Therefore, it is a faith that it might be by grace to the end of the promise might be sure to all the seed. Everybody say, That's me. See, you're the seed that he's talking about. Because we're in Christ. The promise might be sure to all the seed. Not to that only which is of the law, in other words, the Jewish people, but to also which is of the faith of Abraham. Everybody shout, that's me. See, we're of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. See, this is written to Christians. And so Abraham, not just the father of the Jews, he's the father of every Christian. That's born again, I mean. You've got to be born again to get into the family. You're not just born, you're not just a Christian because you go to the Methodist church and that, or you go to the Catholic church, or you go to whatever denomination or a non-denomination. You're only in the family if you've been born again. Right? So he's talking about us. As it is written in the parentheses, I have made thee a father of many nations. Now, see, where did that come from? Well, it it it came from God in Genesis, where God told Abraham when he was yet not a father of many nations. He said, Behold, I have made thee. See, God talked in past tense as if it's already done and it hadn't been done yet. Why? Because his name at that time was Abram, and God had to make rename him at 99 years old. He had to have a new name. He went from Abram to Abraham, and Abraham means father of many nations. So he said, as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, before God, whom Abram or Abraham believed, even God. And what does God do? He quickens the dead and he calls those things which be not as though it were. He calls the things that be not as though they were. He calls the things that be not. See, he he was not the father of many nations. But every time after that encounter, when God said, I've made you the father of many nations. And he gave him a new name. Abraham's your name from now on. So he you just imagine him going and introducing him and say, Hi, my name is Abraham, Father of many nations. Glad to meet you. This is my wife, Princess. In fact, Gladys's name means pretty, pretty princess. She's my pretty, pretty princess.

unknown:

Amen.

SPEAKER_00:

And she's not going to have any babies as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, no more babies. We get to admire them from a distance. All right. Praise God. All right, so these are our cornerstone scriptures, and I want to teach a message I've taught many times, and I've talked about it many times. Speaking your way to health. Speaking your way to health. Thank God for our covenant of healing. You know, the church, if you read your Bible, the church itself has been set against sickness and disease. It's been set against poverty and lack. It's been set against bondage. Amen. It's set against it. It's not for, it's not, everything about the church of Jesus Christ is set against those things. And so that's why God provided so many ways for folks to get healed. In fact, you know, he even wants the unbelievers healed. I've seen unbelievers healed. Because that's desire. God doesn't want anybody sick on the earth, but people do get sick, and people in the church get sick. But we've got lots of different ways to receive what God wants for us, which is his word. God's will is his word. We have the laying on of hands, which we do here every service, practically every service. We have life team members that come up. And I there was a Sunday a couple weeks ago when I had a word of wisdom about itises. Or anybody remember the itis Sunday? And so I laid hands on everybody personally because I had that word of wisdom about I saw myself laying hands on people that had itis, arthritis, cellulitis, you know, all the different itises, which is inflammation, plebitis, bursitis, all kinds of itises. And os. I didn't get oses. There's osises too. Psychosis. Anyway, we I'm not a doctor, but I know the main physician. And I learned how he handles disease. He gets rid of it. So the laying on of hands, you know, the Bible says believers shall lay hands on the sick, and the believers and they shall recover. You know, hands they shall lay heal, they shall be. So laying on of hands, I mean, many times, you know, people come up for they have a certain amount of faith, they have faith to come up, and so they're healed by a joint faith between themselves and the person that's praying, and the minister that's ministering the healing. It's not all just on the minister. It's both ways. It's a joint effort. There's great power and agreement. So that's one way to get healed. And then, of course, we talked about one time the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. James chapter 4. Uh, you know, is there any sick, James chapter 5, brother? Is there any sick among you? Let them call for the elders. If you're having trouble getting your healing, if you're having trouble receiving your healing, and you're not where other folks are, maybe you're just starting out in this and you're and you're battling a big battle. Well, get the church involved, called, and let us let us anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, not the oil and not the minister. But the prayer of faith. And what is the prayer of faith? It's the declaration of calling the things that be not as though they were. We don't pray, oh God, please heal, sister. Bucket mouth. No, we don't ask, we don't beg for healing. Healing is a fact. We declare it over you. Are y'all with me now? And then there's the gifts of healings. The gifts of healings are gifts of the Spirit as the Spirit wills. I wish we could operate in the gifts of healings all the time, but then, you know, I think we would be like kids with a brand new toy, and you know, we just we don't really respect what's given out. And uh and so God expects us to live and walk by faith. Because whatever the gifts of healing are in operation, and I've seen it happen many times. Gladys and I ministered for years together, and she's taking a little uh break right now. She's she's believing for her own health, but the anointing is going to come back in her hands at some point, and we're gonna return to what we've always done. And I mean, I'll I'll have a gift of the revelation, and she'll her hands will start burning and she just gives it out. And I mean, it happens, and it's that's you can receive, you know, your healing that way through the gifts of the of the Spirit, the gifts of healings, so forth. And uh, but whatever you receive like that, at some point you'll have the opportunity to lose it. So we teach you faith. We teach you how to keep what God gives you. He's the one that gives it anyway. He gives it through the hands, he gives it through the gifts, whatever he does, he does. He's the healer, not the minister. So, you know, faith must be pretty important because 12 out of the 19 healing miracles listed in the book of in the gospels that Jesus participated in, 12 out of the 19, if you go through all four gospels, some uh miracles are mentioned more than once, like the woman with the issue of blood, you know, and so forth. There's several that are mentioned, but so you only count them one time. That's one in you know event. But 12 out of the 19 healing miracles mentioned in the gospels mention the faith of the person getting healed. It must be pretty important. And that's why Jesus went about, see, a lot of people have the idea that Jesus went about and he just healed everything, it moved. Well, no, actually, if you read carefully what he did, he went about teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all who were sick. So it was, everybody say, teaching, preaching, and healing. And so if they didn't receive the teaching and preaching, they didn't get the healing. You know, I mean, you know, there's a few, there's a few exceptions that didn't know anything. He just a sovereign move, like a gift of the Spirit, they got healed. But the by and large, it's really important what you believe, what you, and so we're teaching you how to speak your way to health. Your words have everything to do with it. Many are healed, see, by the mutual faith of you and somebody else. But this way, really and truly, you can you can get to the place where you can maintain, not just, you know, it's good to be healed, but it's better to walk in health. You know, an ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure. If you can learn how to speak and cooperate with God's plan for your life, you can walk in divine health. You don't have to always be on the battlefield trying to possess and receive your healing from some terrible bunch of symptoms. Oh, but Pastor, everybody gets sick. Well, they don't have to get sick. Well, you just preach it, that's just too hard. Well, you know, why don't you aim a little higher? Anybody can shoot into the ground and hit the target. But you know, if you want to shoot, you know, to the target, you're gonna have to lift the barrel up and you're gonna have to aim at the target. And I would rather have you encouraged to walk in divine health because that way you're never taking time off out of kingdom business. Look, we're we've got just about that much longer before Jesus comes. We don't have time to be all wrapped up in the doctor visits and all of the testing and all and having to battle all of their report. I mean, how many of you remember when you go to the doctor, they don't ever say, oh, you're healed. There's nothing wrong with you. No, they find something. They got to pay for those machines. Amen. So, you know, the ideal is to walk in divine health, and that's available. Everybody said that's available. So, God's word then has provided a way for us to create healing and health with our own voice. It's just amazing, really. It's amazing how we're built. We're in the God class of being. We're not God, but we're in the God class. We're not the animal class. You know, we you know, we love our little pets, we love our little doggies and our little kitties, but we're not in that class of animal. We're not an animal. We're a human being. And we're in the God class. We we are designed to have what we say. The problem with it is that it comes to pass either direction, negative or positive. And since in the world everyone is programmed in the negative, that's why everything gets worse and worse because they just keep talking about it worse and worse. No, we can we can train our train our confession and our mouth and our language to embrace health. So we've been given supernatural ability to program our bodies and our minds to fight and to expel disease and to function in hell. So here in uh Proverbs 18, 21, it says, you know, death and life are in the power of the tongue. And those that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. And when you read that in all the other translations, it just says, you know, uh, in fact, put it up there, the NLT, if you don't mind. Uh the NLT, Proverbs 18, 21. And uh, if you can find the NLT, the tongue can bring death or life. Those who love to talk will reap the consequences. I mean, if you're a wordy person, you like to hear yourself talk, most of the time you're gonna say things you shouldn't say, and those are gonna come to pass. In the negative. You're gonna get to pay the consequences for being. The Bible says, be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. I mean, if we'd slow down a little bit, our words would be more easy to control. But but see, I don't like that that version because I like the King James. It says, death and life are in the power of the tongue. And when you look up the word power there in the Hebrew, it means hand. Now just think about sticking out your tongue, but it looks like a hand. You stick out your tongue, and here comes a hand. What's the hand do? It's gonna either bring death to you or it's gonna bring life to you. I mean, you're grabbing a hold of something every time you talk. You're grabbing a hold of what's coming your way every time you open your mouth. That's why you ought to be careful what you say. You ought to not just, you know, run off at the mouth. Because in the abundance of the words that come out, there's bound to be something there you don't want. Are you with me now? And then, of course, Luke 6.45, that's worth looking at. I quoted the other one, but the other one, Luke 6.45, Jesus said this. How many of you know Jesus knows a little bit about the word, because he is the word, isn't he? Verse 45 a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good. Out of your spirit, see. Out of your spirit. Good things. When you speak out of your spirit. When you speak the word or you speak words based on the word, that's good things. Healing's a good thing. Health is a good thing. Sickness is a bad thing. Bondage is a bad thing. But out of the good, a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So there again, when you just run off at the mouth and say a bunch of stuff, that means your heart is full of briars and brambles and sticker bushes and everything, you know, because Mark chapter 4, the sower sows the word. One of the crop failures were the people who, you know, they first of all they started bringing forth good things, but all of a sudden the cares of this world, the deceitfulness, riches, the lust of other things entering in chokes the word and it becometh unfruitful. A lot of times we've got a bunch of junk inside of our spirit that's outside of the word. I mean, not everything is evil, but some things are not profitable for you. And when you just have, I like what Brother Mark said one time. You know, a lot of people are more, you know, they they they got more detail about the sickness that they've got than they do what the word says about it. They can go down the whole list of all the reasons why they're sick and what the doctor said. And would you look at that? I had a guy one time show me his wife's PET scan and see here's the tumor. I said, Oh, don't show me that. That's the devil. I want to see it. How do you combat something that you give place to that you admit is there? It's we're we're driving it out. It doesn't have any right to exist. She's in heaven now, but that's part of the reason. Because in Knucklehead, see, I mean, when you're, you know, you when you're two and one of you is is over you. So Gladys and I are one, and and and she's she's fighting. So I'm fighting with her, and I'm having to fight in her place in some cases. I'm having to, I'm having to speak the word over her on a regular basis, every day, like, huh? I don't I don't just maintain mine, I maintain hers. That's what married people do. That's what you sign up for, isn't it? So your words are building blocks of life or death. I mean, the hand reaches out and brings whatever toward you, whatever you're speaking. Man, I don't want death coming to me. I don't want sickness and disease coming to me. I want health. You know, medical science is beginning to confirm that positive words and outlook have positive results in people's health. I mean, the power of positive thinking has nothing to do with the Bible, but it has to do with what is a spiritual law that every human being has been created for. And you know what? There's a certain power in positive thinking, even in the new age, even in people that aren't even saved. But what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? So just because it works doesn't mean that it's it's the end of all of it. No, what I'm talking about is in the church, and that's the shame of it. I mean, you know, they've they've discovered a lot of people didn't know about Donald Trump, but he he was greatly influenced in his early life by the power of positive thinking, the guy that wrote that book. And he wasn't, you know, he wasn't saved. I don't know when he got saved, but he's hadn't been saved that long. But he's he's really, in my, in my opinion, he's sort of a baby Christian. He does not know God's word very well. And we're gonna have to pray for our president because, you know, he's made some decisions on Israel that I'm not real happy with. But you know what? I'm for him, and I'm gonna pray for him. I'm not gonna criticize him. See, he needs prayer. He needs prayer for the people that are surrounding him, the people that have influence. I'm concerned about his plans for the Middle East. I don't see it in my Bible. I don't see what he's got planned in my Bible. So when I see stuff, it's way off, you know, this deal, this, this, you know, Abraham's accords, uh, and having Muslim countries, there's 50, I don't have many, 57 of them in the in the world, Muslim countries. And Muslim countries are not content with their own country, they want to dominate the entire globe. And if you ignore that and you get them to sign some agreement, it's just poppycock. They don't mean it, they lie, and that their Islam allows them to lie to us, the infidel. So that's why I'm not real jazzed about the Abraham the Court and the plans for Gaza becoming the Middle East resort that he's talking about. I don't see it in the Bible. So, anyway, we do need to pray for our president, but he was greatly influenced by that, and he always speaks positively. I mean, the man does not drink or smoke, never has. And yet he hangs around all these people in Hollywood. I mean, the guy is a billionaire, but he's a billionaire before he got to the White House. Some people become billionaires after they like Pelosi, she becomes a you know, multi-quasilionaire while she's just speaker of the house inside trading. All right. Enough of that. So even medical science is admitting this works. I mean, you know, listen, folks, this works. Everybody say it's working for me. See, maybe we need to make a little adjustment how we talk. You know, let's not talk sickness, let's not talk sickness, disease, let's not talk victimhood, let's not talk about all day long. Let's talk about what God said. You know, in Mark 11, 23, Jesus said we can have what we say. And so we go back to Mark. This has blessed me so much since I heard this broken down, Mark 11, 23. Let's go back again and look at it real quick. Mark 11, get it in front of you. Mark 11, 23. I didn't bring my Bible. Never come to church without your Bible. Always bring your Bible because that's where we preach from. I don't have a missile. See, I grew up Catholic and we had missiles. I'm not talking about rockets, I'm talking about a little prayer book that had all the prayers pre-printed. All the prayers that I ever heard prayed were read out of a book until I went to Lakewood Church and I heard somebody get up and give a prophecy. And I went, what was that? I mean, just flat-footed, thus saith the Lord. And I thought, what? I never heard of anything like it. And then when I heard Doty pray or Brother Osteen pray, they just prayed out of their heart. They didn't have something they read, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I, you know, I got the idea then that God makes a difference when he actually lives on the inside of you. Amen. So, all right, so Mark 11, 23, Jesus is speaking. And he said, Verily I say unto you, uh I have Matthew. See, Matthew doesn't say that. Mark does. Sorry. I missed a whole book. They both start with M, but they're different. Mark 11, 23. Verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Lego, that's the Greek word lego, it just means to say, shall say unto the mountain. See, we're to speak to sickness. We're to speak to symptoms. If you say to the symptom, be thou removed and be cast into the sea. You don't have to say cast in the sea, just get out of here. Well, work. But he's going, he's making a point. Because if you think about a mountain being removed and cast into the sea, I mean, that's that's almost, you know, that's incomprehensible. He's talking about the power behind this. The power behind speaking and believing at the same time. And also when you pick up a mountain and throw it in the sea, it can't come back. Why? Because it gets dissolved in the sea. It's not coming back. So, you know, when you really, when you start speaking your way to health, you'll you'll when you do have to speak to symptoms, you'll know that your words have great power. And whoever, it's it's not just for his favorites, it's not just for some preacher, it's not just for, you know, some holy person that you know that you depend on to pray for you all the time. No, it's you. All right, whosoever. Everybody say, I'm a whosoever. You not be removed, be cast, and say, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe those things which he saith shall come to pass. Those things, whatever you're saying, you believe in your heart that it will come to cast. Whatever you say, now that word sayeth there, that word, is uh ego. And it means having a uh consistent confession or a systematic discourse. You have to be systematic in what you're saying. You have to be consistent. It's not what you say once, it's what you say over and over again. You don't pray it over and over again, you say it over and over again. As if it's true. And it is true, and it will. And whatsoever if you don't doubt in your heart but believe it, those things which you have a systematic discourse, uh, you shall have whatever you say. So Jesus is the one that says it. So it's it's uh everybody say a systematic discourse. See, I I when I hear about the word systematic, I I think about another word systemic. You know, there there are there are uh pesticides that you can spray on a plant, and it kills on contact the the insects that are eating your tomatoes, for instance. But it's a lot better to have the kind of uh insecticide or or remedy. I don't believe in chemicals that much, but there are some chemicals that that you can spray on the plant and it becomes systemic and it's within the leaves, it's within the the uh part of the plant where they eat the leaf and it kills them because the the resistance to their uh system there, it's systemic in the plant. So God's word can become systemic in you to where things that try to come upon you, some kind of virus, like you know, well, some kind of disease, any kind of thing, it comes in contact with your body and it dies because God's word is systemic in you because you've been systematically talking about it all the time. John G. Lake, famous preacher, you know, back turn of the century. He had uh the plague hit his church, and he went to the Lord. He didn't know anything about divine healing. He said, God, what am I gonna do? I've got these children, people are dying in my church. I mean, you know, it's gonna destroy my church. I I don't have anything. What can I do? And he started getting light on divine healing. And one of the verses he got, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made me free from the law of sin and death. And so he began to just lay hands and anoint people with oil that were sick. He would go into their houses. They would have the foam, they would be coughing up this foam, and and actually when they would die, these people, it was a respiratory disease, the plague destroyed your lungs, and people were so eaten up with this horrible uh bacteria that they would actually have this foam around their mouth that would be filled with these bacteria that it was highly contagious. I mean, if you coughed, if you sneezed, if you got in contact, if you just went in a room, I mean, it just it was in the air, and I mean, people were, it was very communicable. And uh, you think COVID was bad. It was a lot worse. And so he he started laying hands on people and they started getting healed. And so the doctors heard about it. He said, What in the world? How in the world are you able to minister to your people and not get sick? You're not sick. He said, I he said, Well, you know, if you got some of this foam, they had some some of this that someone had died and they had the bubonic plague and they had this foam, and they took, he said, get that foam and put it under a microscope. And they put it under a microscope and they saw the activity of the bacteria. I mean, they could. See it. He said, All right, now put that bacteria right here in my hand. And they put that foam in his hand and it all that all the bacteria died. It died immediately upon contact with his skin. Are y'all with me now? And he said, What in the world? How does this happen? He said, What you're seeing, gentlemen, is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Come on, lift your hands right now. Glory to God. So you'd be right in saying every disease germ and virus germ and every disease, germ, and virus that touches my skin, every fungus touches my skin dies immediately upon contact. You don't have to fool around with being six feet away from somebody. People say, oh, don't get near. I'm said, I'm not infecting and I can't be infected. Don't worry about it. Are y'all with me now? So everybody says systematic discourse. So that will literally build into your immune system a supernatural annoying that's capable of eliminating sickness and disease. So years ago, uh Brother Hagin talks about Dr. Lillian B. Yeoman's. She was close to Brother Hagin, but she was a medical doctor who got addicted to drugs because she took speed and took uh she had a busy practice and she was running out of strength, and that was in days when they didn't know the difficulty of those drugs, and she was had access to them as a doctor, and so she would take these drugs so she could work harder and longer, see more patients. She had the right, she wasn't trying to party with them or anything like that. She was just trying to gain endurance, and she got addicted, and she got so sick, she was on her deathbed, and she didn't know anything about healing, so she uh somebody heard about her and she had treated that person, and they were Christian. They came and got her saved, and they got her healed, and she was raised off of the bed of sickness, right at the point of death, and and she became a Pentecostal minister. And she devoted the rest of her life to preaching the gospel. And during the years when tuberculosis was raging back in the 20s, 30s, even into the 40s, tuberculosis was a terrible TB. We pretty well eradicated it until recently when we brought out all the people across the border unvetted and untreated. And I mean, what was done was that was evil done to our nation. We're not against people, but we're against these policies. It doesn't help anybody for that to happen. And so all these diseases now we're having to go back and and redouble our efforts to stamp them out. But anyway, TB would just basically rot your lungs out. If it's untreated, a lot of people died. Some people were uh disabled for the rest of their life or unable to have normal lives if they did survive. So that uh uh Dr. Yeomans and her sister had a beautiful home in Southern California, big, big two-story house. They turned it into a clinic, and they would take four patients at a time. They would only take the worst cases. The people that were ready to die, people that were bedridden, that medical science had given up on. And they would take them in and they would minister to them and they'd get them healed. I mean, they just had a way of doing it, and they used God's word. They didn't pray for the sick, they didn't lay hands on the sick. They just gave God, you know, gave them the word of God. So this one lady, she's writing this testimony about her. She came in near death, could hardly speak, in bed, and she sat by her bedside upstairs. They had the four beds upstairs, four bedrooms where they had the sick people, separated from each other, but in upstairs. And her and her sister lived downstairs. So she went upstairs, sat by her bedside, and says, honey, just lay there and just relax. I'm gonna read God's word to you. And so she'd read God's healing scriptures to her. Him, himself, bare our sickness, took our infirmities. He sent your, sent his word and healed us, delivered us from destruction. He just, for about two hours, she just read the word of God to her, read the word of God to her, read the word of God to her. And she said, All right, now I've got a little homework for you. Now, we I you know, here's a scripture right here, Deuteronomy 28. Uh all these, she read all of verses 13 through 66, the curses of the law. And it says, All the diseases that are not listed, tuberculosis is not listed, but all the diseases that are not listed, they are the curse of the law. So keep that in mind. Deuteronomy 28 says tuberculosis is the curse of the law. But now let's look at Galatians 3.13. Galatians 3.13 says, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Therefore, you don't really have tuberculosis anymore because Christ redeemed you from it. So this is what I want you to do. You rest when you rest, you want you need to go to sleep, go to sleep. But when you're awake, as much as you're awake, I want you to say, according to Deuteronomy 28, tuberculosis is the curse of the law. But according to Galatians 3.13, Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I no longer have tuberculosis. Now you know, she connected the dots for her. I no longer have tuberculosis. She said, okay, say it out loud. She said it out loud. So okay, keep saying it. Say it over and over and over. So she left her, came back that night to check on her. Well, are you doing what I told you? I said it all afternoon. I don't know how much I've said it. I don't feel a thing. There's no different. That's all right, honey. You just keep saying it. And tonight when you go to sleep, if you sleep, sleep. But if you wake up, just say that in the night. Say it all night long if you're awake. Next morning, brought her breakfast. Well, are you saying what I told you? Yeah, I must have said it 10,000 times, but I don't feel any different. I'm just as weak as I was. And there's no no that's all right, honey. Just keep saying it. Just keep on saying it. Keep saying all that day. Second day, see, all that day. Fed her lunch, fetter supper. Early the next morning, sister and her downstairs. They hear this rustling, bumbling upstairs, banging, and somebody hollering. And so Dr. Yeoman goes up to the stairs and goes halfway up the stairs, and this woman's coming down the stairs. Do you realize that I've been healed from tuberculosis?

unknown:

And Dr.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeoman says, Yeah, that's what we've been trying to tell you for three days. Come on, lift your hands right now. Glory to God. Now, I'm not saying you're gonna have results in three days. Because it, you know, sometimes it takes longer, but I mean, how much want-to have you got? I mean, them Aggies had some want-to. They were behind 30 to 3 at the half. And one at 31 to 30. I mean, that was, I thought I was gonna have to go to the emergency room. Gladys said, Gladys, you're gonna. She keeps me straight. John, you're gonna have to calm down. I mean, I was not happy in the first half, but I was very happy the second half. And I thought, man, this this whole this whole game will preach. I should preach on the Aggies. It doesn't matter how bad it is, it doesn't matter how behind you feel, doesn't matter how sick you feel. I'm telling you, the word will work every time. If you believe it. Brother Hagin tells a story of a Pentecostal minister, happened to be a woman. I mean these women, you get them full of Holy Ghost, they're gonna take over. I don't believe in women preacher. Well, it's your loss. I know some really great women. Dodie Osteen was not necessarily a preacher, but she was a minister. And she could preach toward the end. She was, you know, she'd get rolling. And uh, you know, well, I've known a lot, a lot of great women preachers. And uh, but anyway, this lady, Brother Hagin, heard about it that she'd got cancer, was had had to come off the field and was laying in bed, a stomach cancer, and so he went to see her. And the tumors were so big she couldn't even lay in flat of the bed, she couldn't see her feet. They were just way up. And she's older lady, she's in her late 70s. But still, you know, she'd come off the field. She'd been preaching, came off the field because of cancer. And he he started talking to her and said, Oh, Brother Hagin, leave me alone. I know what you're gonna say, but I just want to go to heaven. I'm through tired, I'm tired of fighting this cancer, and I know I'm going to heaven. Just leave me alone. Let me let me let me go home and be with the Lord. He said, I can't do it. He said, You know, look, if you want to go to heaven, fine, but get healed first. Don't let this cancer take your testimony. You've preached the gospel all over, and people know who you are, and then you get let the cancer take you. No, don't do that. Get healed first. And he said, I give you Proverbs 4, 20 through 22. My son, my daughter, attend to my words. Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, but keep them in the midst of thine heart. For my words are life unto those that find them, and health are medicine to all their flesh. I mean, you know, just uh I encourage you, see that every time you look at that stomach, see it flat and speak the word. Get get conquer this cancer. You can conquer this cancer and live. And he didn't even lay hands on her, he didn't even pray for her, he just encouraged her, exhorted her. That's what he did. Gave her a jumping off spot, Proverbs 4. That the word is medicine to all our flesh. You know, when we when we go to the doctor and get a prescription, it always says, take all of the medication. Don't just go halfway through the bottle and when you feel better, then lay it aside. No, take the whole thing even after the symptoms are gone. Isn't that what they tell you? And yet, you know, the word of God is designed for health as much as it is for healing. See, how isn't it better to walk in health? So the word is is it's medicine, but it's also health to our flesh. So, you know, she started doing that, and I mean, the cancer started shrinking. And I mean, she started feeling a little better, and the cancer started shrinking, and she got out her notebook and she started making herself an itinerary. You know, at this rate, I'm gonna be back on the field. I'm gonna preach at this church, that church. She made a whole itinerary for the next year, and within three months she left that deathbed and she was out preaching the gospel all over the place where she had all every trace of cancer was gone, and she lived another 10 years. She was 90 something before she went to heaven. Come on, lift your hands. Glory to God. 1 Corinthians 6, verses 19 and 20 says this. What? Know you not that your bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost which you have of God, and you're not your own, but you've been bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. So then, see, we don't even really belong to ourselves. We we're not, we don't own ourselves. God owns us. He bought us. Your body is not your body, it's his body. And for the purpose of him to live in it. And so, you know, really, then I, my spirit, see, I am a caretaker over my body and my mind. I have to determine who's I? Your spirit. You don't see, when you look in the mirror, you're not looking at you, you're looking at your body. But that's not you. You are a spirit. And you are in charge of taking care of your body and your mind. Because Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9 27, I keep under my body, lest while having preached to others, I myself should be a castaway or a disqualified. In other words, I, who's he talking about? I, my spirit, I keep my body in subjection to my spirit. I tell my body what to do. I don't let my body do everything it wants to do. I don't let my flesh rule me. I don't let my emotions rule me. Are y'all with me now? I, I. Everybody say I. I has got a lot of power when you hook that up with that mouth of yours. You believe in your heart what you're saying is gonna come to pass. What you consistently and systematically say is gonna come to pass. See, you can see then that if it's not systematic, if it's this way and that way, this way and that way, who knows what's gonna happen? Probably nothing. Good. No, it's gotta be, you've got to be right on, you've got to get on the get the word going in the right direction. So uh we we do, uh then we're our own caregivers, then, if you really want to know too the truth about it. We're we give care to ourselves. And so these building blocks of health in Mark 11, 23, we're speaking to the symptoms and demanding them to leave. And we call the things that be not as though they were. You don't feel any difference. That lady didn't feel any different for the first two days. Or you feel she didn't even ask her, how do you feel? Or she said, Are you doing what I'd ask you to do? You know, Dr. Goman's did say, Well, how you feeling, honey? He that's immaterial. Really, it's kind of silly to always be asking people how you feeling. I mean, because it is it relevant? I mean, really, I can't, you know, do you really care? Or is it just a way of greeting? Just say, glory to God, it's great to see you. How about that one instead of saying, how you feeling? See, how you feeling is immaterial. You might feel terrible. You you might feel like left last week's leftovers, okay? A little mold on the top. Maybe that's how you feel, but it doesn't matter if you speak right. You call the thing that be not as though it were. All right. So don't deny symptoms, just deny their right to remain in your body. So, in other words, well, I don't have fever. I don't have fever. I don't, no, you don't say it that way. I demand this temperature to go, this inflammation, whatever's causing this, my temperature to rise up. And these, you know, when you get a slight temperature, do you ache all over? Yeah, I mean, you know, get about a 99 or 100 degree uh temperature. Do you ache all over? I mean, you feel terrible. Like those flu symptoms when they say, Oh, I got the flu. No. No, you in the name of Jesus, I won't receive these symptoms. They have to go. I command my temperature to be normal. Every inflammation has got to go in Jesus' name. All right. So we take the doctor's medicine, let takes God's medicine. So four things I want to leave with you. Hebrews 11:3 today. Uh by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen are not made of things which do appear. That's the King James. The worlds were framed by the Word of God, and I like to amplify it. It means to fashion, to put in order, to equip for its intended purpose. So when you speak the word of God over your health, you're you're fashioning and you're putting your body in order, your mind in order, you're equipping your mind and your body for their intended purpose. And what is that intended purpose? To be containers of the Holy Ghost. I mean, that that's your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. This is, if God's going to do anything in the earth, he's gonna use the body of Christ to do it. He's not coming back down here. And the people that say, oh Lord, uh, 2 Corinthians, uh, 2 Chronicles 7, 14, oh Lord, you know, we humble ourselves and pray and and come and heal our land. No, he's not coming. He already came. And he sent you. You are gonna heal the land. If you don't do anything, the land isn't healed. And so we've all got to rise up. We've all got to rise up and take apart. Make sure we vote, make sure we get involved with what's actually going on, inform yourselves and don't be like an ostrich and all of that. See, that's one reason why you need to stay healthy. That's one reason why you've got to govern your mind and not let the devil take your mind over and give you, you know, Trump derangement syndrome. Have you ever seen so many mentally ill people in your life? They are. I mean, they're demonized and they're mentally ill. I mean, there's no explanation why in the world would you shut the government down? They shut the government down simply because they hate Trump. It's just that there's no other reason. They hurt the whole country. And uh listen, folks, we we gotta we gotta frame. Everybody say, I'm framing my world. All right, then Psalm 107.20 says that uh he sent his word and healed us and delivered us from our destructions. God sent his word and healed us and delivered us from destruction. So no matter what the doctor's report is, God sent his word and he healed you. That's the report. It's not the stage four, it's not this, it's not that, it's not that, well, you've got this working in your body. That that's the natural side, but the supernatural side, the antidote, the anti-venom to that report is right there, Psalm 107. And that's for Jews, and we've got a better covenant than they do.

unknown:

That's right.

SPEAKER_00:

He sent his word and healed us, past tense. It's not something we gotta pray for. Oh, God, heal me. Nope. I've got, you know, I know somebody, that's how they pray. They talk like, you know, they're Baptists, and they they got, you know, charismatic touch, but they still have that Baptist thinking. And you've got to be delivered from religion. You can't, you can't, if you don't get your tenses straight and you don't understand where you stand with God, when you pray for things that God's already done, that's kind of stupid, isn't it? I mean, like going to the fridge and standing in front of, open the fridge, mama, give me some milk, mama, and milk is right there. Why don't you get it yourself, goofball? It's right there. Pick it up and pour it in the glass. Maybe a little kid, you've got to help them, but you know, a kid, teenager, uh, they don't do that. They go and get what they want right out of the fridge and they get it all, and then you don't have anything left. Shame on you, kids. All right. So bad reports are not from the doctor, are not the end. They're not the end. They never are the end. God's already dealt with it. Number three is in Isaiah 55, 11. That God's word, uh, He sent. Let's let's read it. Isaiah 55. Got a couple of verses there that are so powerful. Verse 11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. This is God speaking. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please. It shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. So didn't we just hear that he sent his word and healed us? So he sent it to us. So it always accomplishes healing. It won't come back to him without accomplishing that, what he pleases. He pleases that we prosper and walk in health, even as our soul prospers. 3 John 2. His will is for us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul, our thinking. We have to change our thinking and make adjustment in what we think and what we expect. God's word accomplishes. That's what does it. And so God's word in your mouth will accomplish what God's word in his mouth will accomplish. So when you start sending the word to your body parts that are tempted to be sick, it won't return void. It will prosper in that body part. It will prosper in that tissue that's gone downhill or something's wrong. You don't have to become a doctor to speak the word. Amen. Alright, and then the fourth thing is Isaiah 57, a couple chapters over, verse 19. He says, I create the fruit of the lips. I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith the Lord, and I will heal him. So God's healing is created by the fruit of the lips. Your lips are speaking his word. Healing is the fruit that's produced. So speak your way to health. Come on, lift your hands and receive today. Hallelujah.
