Lock Out The Doubt 2 | Pastor John Greiner

Pastor John Greiner

This message reveals how faith grows where it’s fed and starves where it’s ignored. Through Peter’s walk on the water and modern-day parallels, it shows how doubt hijacks focus, fear feeds unbelief, and faith demands disciplined speech and perception. Listeners are taught that faith sees the unseen, speaks God’s Word before circumstances change, and treats Scripture as final authority. It’s a call to guard the heart, govern language, and live by covenant truth—locking out doubt so faith can finish what God has promised.

Let's pick up our Bibles and lift them up and wave them around. Worship team. Beautiful job. Thank you so much. Let's wave our Bibles around. Make Jesus glad, the devil mad. Let's say this together. Say, Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today in the midst of people of like precious faith. I'm at the right place, at the right time, with the right folks. I'm going to hear the right things from the Word of God that will build my faith. Keep me victorious in all the things that I face in life. Jesus said, in the world you'll have tribulation. But Lord, I've overcome the world through the Word of God and the Holy Ghost. In Jesus' name. Amen. You can be seated. Let's turn in our Bibles to Matthew, 14th chapter, please. And I'm continuing a series and I'm sharing with you on Lock Out the Doubt. Lock it out. Matthew 14. And of course, this is the apostles on the stormy sea. They just witnessed the feeding of the 5,000. Jesus sent them to the other side while he went along to went off to pray and he came back. They saw him walking on the sea between the hours of three and six. Verse 24. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, so the wind was contrary. Have you ever faced contrary winds in your life? Kind of reminds me of my days growing up in a little place called Ruferio, Texas. And, you know, I I'm playing football, but when you play football, you have to do other things. You have to run track. It's just it's unwritten. You don't get to have a free ride. You can't pick and choose. If you're gonna run, if you're gonna play football, you have to run track, which I hated. And uh because track is, you know, in and starts in, you know, February. It's cold. And in Referio in March, the wind is blowing like a gale. I mean, it's blowing right, and I'm running the 440. Back then they used to have one lap was 440 yards, and the back stretch of the 440 was directly into the headwinds of that of that wind. And I'd go out there, you know, in my workout, it says, run six 440s. Six 440s. And that that is not a run, that is a dash. It's all out. You're supposed to run your guts out, like a hundred-yard dash, is not like the 880 or the mile. The mile is a run, the 880 is a run, but not the 440, it's a dash. And you got to run it all the way out. And man, I mean, that win, that contrary wind, it can be rough, can't it? And so it was rough for the apostles. And uh that night Jesus went unto them walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled saying, It's a spirit, they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer, it is I. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be, thou bid me come to thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, you know he had to leave the ship. He couldn't do anything and staying in the ship. We're gonna have to get out of our boat of complacency, we're gonna have to get out of our boat of the possibility thinking. And to get out there in the area where the only God can help us to succeed. Without God, we will sink. That's where we need to be walking every day. But when Peter was come out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Everybody say Peter walked on the water. But when he saw the wind, boisterous, contrary, in other words, he was afraid and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased, and then they were that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth, thou art the Son of God. So lock out the doubt. Doubt and unbelief rob you of what God wants you to have, of what God's best is for you. I mean, Peter acted on Jesus' word. He's to be commended for wanting to do what he did, and he did it to a to a fashion. But notice he didn't get a participation trophy. He didn't get a pat on the back. Well, good try, you know. I mean, he got rebuked. And that's the way you can have to understand that God's a faith God. Jesus is our faith savior. He's given us, you know, everything, all the ingredients that we need, and he expects us to use our faith. To every believer has been dealt the measure of faith, Romans 12, 3 says. When you got saved, you were dealt some faith. You don't ever say, Oh, I don't have a faith. Yes, you do. You've got faith, you're just not using it. And so doubt began to sink him. I mean, he started watching the waves, you know, and looking at the circumstances, and he got afraid. And doubt came from fear of the circumstances. Doubt came in through his five senses. We all have five senses. We have five carnal senses. And that is the area where the enemy will use to intimidate, to make you, to distract, to doubt, to make you doubt, to bring fear. Your eyes, your ears, your nose, your feelings, everything, your emotions. All your five senses are what the world will use to intimidate and keep you out of God's best. Amen. So doubt robbed him and not only robbed him, it robbed the eleven on the boat. It robbed Jesus of the joy of watching one of his disciples actually do something. Supernatural, consistently, like he taught them. He taught them to do that. And so last week we talked about hand-eye coordination. You know, with the five senses that we have with our bodies, our spirits have five senses. And so faith sees and faith receives. You know, faith people see what is not evident. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen or not yet seen. So when you have faith, you look beyond the five senses of the natural and you look and you base your sight on what you saw out of the word, what the word says you can have, what your prayer life. See, you've got to have a word life and a prayer life to successfully lock out the doubt. If you don't have a prayer life and you don't have a word life, doubt will rob you consistently. Are you all with me now? But I'm talking about lock out the doubt. So faith sees then, and faith receives, or we could say it this way the hand of faith receives what the eye of faith sees. Hand-eye coordination. Talk about the, you know, the ball player that I witnessed on the sidelines when he was a rookie in Houston, Texan. The Andre Hopkins, you know, catching that ball with one hand. And it would be up high and it'd be down low, it'd be in front of him. I mean, he, with either hand, he could catch the football with one hand. Just he wasn't a freak of nature. But he had to practice. You're gonna have to practice seeing and receiving what God has for you. Hand eye, everybody say hand-eye coordination. So faith sees the promise and calls the things that be not as though they were. It's one of the definitions of faith. You know, uh, God called the thing that be not as though it were. Abraham calls the thing that be not as though it were. If you're gonna walk by faith, you're gonna have to say something that's contrary to your five senses. You're gonna have to say what the Bible says about something. Are y'all with me now? All right. So now this week, let's look at 1 John chapter 5. Get into another aspect of this. This is the final quarter of 2025. We've just got three months, less than three months now. And I'm just uh determined to help you everywhere I can for you to have your milestone appear. It's important for your milestone to manifest. Because your milestone is not just for you, your milestone is for everything we're doing right now in this church. We're all part of something greater than ourselves. You know, just like the little illustration we use a lot, JFK being out at NASA and saw the janitor. Sir, what is your job around here? I'm helping put somebody on the moon. See, he didn't say, Oh, I'm here to sweep up the mess. I'm here to dust the furniture. No, I'm here to help put a man on the moon. I mean, we're here to do what God told this church to do.

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_00:

So, um, 1 John chapter 5, verse 4. For whatsoever, I like it whosoever, for whosoever is born of God, you're not just a whatsoever, you're a whosoever. But whosoever is born of God overcometh the world. Have you been born again? That's who he's talking about. He's talking about born-again Christians. You were born the first time, and that ain't good enough. You have to be born from above. You have to be born again. And if you are born again, you what? Overcome the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. So faith is the victory that overcomes the world. So, what's the definition of faith? Well, faith is calling things that be not as though they were. So when you call the thing that be not as though it were, was, then that's overcoming the world. That's your victory that's overcoming the world. The minute you start speaking against and contrary to your five senses in favor of what the word says. Your five senses tell you that you're sick. The five senses of your doctor says that you're sick. He gives you the the MRI. Gladys had an MRI. It showed damage in her spine. I saw it. You know, I'm not moved by what I saw there. That's one fact that's in the natural, but we have another report right here that says, by the stripes of Jesus, Gladys was healed. See, I mean, you don't deny what the natural says. You just you just refuse to allow it to dominate you. Are you with me now? So we could say, you know, uh, what is another definition of faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When you see something in the Bible, you've got faith as the evidence of it, and this is the victory that overcomes the world. When you've got the faith, that's as good as the finished product. You don't have the finished product, it hadn't shown up yet. Why? Because faith is a seed. It's not, maybe nothing has changed about your circumstance, but now you have the faith that you saw in the Word of God and in your prayer life. You heard and you saw, and now you have it. It's yours, and it's just as good. I mean, the circumstances haven't changed, but you're just as happy as if they had been. Why? Because you've got the evidence of it right now. And this is the victory that overcomes the world. Or we could say, acting like the Bible is true is faith. Faith is acting like the Bible is true. Every time you act like the Bible is true, that is the victory that overcometh the world. Are y'all getting anything out of this? Just break it down. If A equals C and A equals B, then B equals C. It's just an old time, old-time algebra that you learn. This is algebra now. We're getting into the algebra. I'm going to leave trigonometry off of it. Everybody say, thank God for that. All right. So determine to be a believer, not a doubter. See? Because if that is true, then doubt is the victory that overcomes the believer. Huh? Doubt is the victory that overcomes the believer. Now let's go back to 1 John 5, 4. I want you to see something. In verse 4, it says, For whosoever is, it says whatsoever in the King James, but I, you know, I'm not a what. And I'm not a thing. I'm a person. I'm a being. Made in the image and likeness of God. For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is why we get so mystified about all these people that lie every day. They do all kind of horrible things. A Maha Hamas did the most horrible things a little over two years ago, October 7th, we just had that horrible date. That's another date that will go down in infamy. And uh where they attacked Israel. And and and I it's you you you scratch your head and say, how could anybody be for Hamas? How could anybody carry a Palestinian flag and wear that black and white garb and say free Gaza when they're the ones that that tortured and beheaded and and did all kinds of nasty, horrible things to human other human beings. And the fact is that they have not been born from above. The world has them. That is the world. That's what the world does. The world, I mean, anybody in the world that has never been born again is capable of that kind of behavior. You might as well understand that the Democrats have sold out to the devil. And that's why they're so crazy. Because the devil's crazy. He can see the clock, he can see the calendar. He knows his time is short. Hamas sold their soul to the devil a long time ago. I've got some concerns about all of this stuff that's going on, the quote-unquote peace treaty in the Middle East, because I haven't known any of these people to keep their word that we're signing these agreements with. I'm sorry, I don't want to throw rocks at President Trump. I know his heart is to bring peace. If he can bring the hostages home, that would be a win. But the rest of it is a bunch of baloney as far as I'm concerned. I don't depend on those people to ever do what they say they're going to do. They don't have a record of doing that. Pastor, well, I'm just giving you mine. You don't have to agree with me. I just don't see it in the Bible. What I see in the Bible is the inner ring nations are going to attack Israel. And you could make a case that that's already happened, but I don't think it's happened to the degree that it's going to.

unknown:

That's right.

SPEAKER_00:

And then the outer ring nations, which is Ezekiel 38, 39. That has not happened yet, but it will happen. The Bible is true. Let God be true, every man a liar. Now, it could it be possible we have a temporary little peace thing and kumbaya in the Middle East and a little bit of, you know, and maybe just, you know, I whatever. I don't see Gaza becoming the Mara-Lago of the Middle East. I just don't see it. Now, the only thing that makes me not as concerned for our nation, see, because I know when you start making Israel give away land for peace, you come under judgment. But see, they abandoned Gaza 20 years ago. They did it. Ariel Sharone, who was the prime minister of Israel, just to give you a quick little update, we're still preaching on lock out the doubt, but sometimes the Holy Ghost has me go and I need to address some things that are happening right now. That's why these messages are prophetic. They're not just, they don't always follow a linear place. I'll get back to it. I haven't forgot. But 20 years ago, 2005, unilaterally, with no consultation, with no negotiation, with no agreement with the other side, Israel abandoned Gaza. There were dozens of families there that had probably, I don't know how many people lived there, but quite a number of Jews. They had wonderful businesses. They had hothouses, they grew flowers, they grew vegetables, they had a booming business. They had been there 30 years. I mean, Billy Brim used to go stay with them there. Right there on the Mediterranean, beautiful property. I mean, you're overlooking the Mediterranean. Gorgeous, just lush. And by gunpoint, the IDF made those people leave their homes. And to my knowledge, they never got paid anything. All this stuff about reparation, reparation. Baloney. That's a bunch of baloney. Reparation. Give me a break. You live in the greatest country on the face of the earth. You've got opportunity you could never have any place else. And we're talking about writing people a check to make up for something we didn't do. It's stupid. These people were driven out of their homes by gunpoint. That's why I'm never getting rid of my guns. My government is not going to drive me anywhere. There's going to be some something that I'm going to say about it when they show up. If they show up. See, this is gun control business. Just look at Israel. Look, this is what they have. They have gun control. All the people that have the guns, see? They didn't have any guns in those settlements when Hamas showed up. They couldn't do a thing. They're de-armed. They've disarmed themselves. I don't understand it. You got to be stupid. Sorry. I'm just sorry. Why in the world should we abandon our only way of protection? You know, you can't call the cops and get them to come to your house in less than 15 or 20 minutes. By then it's all over. I'm going to have some protection at my house. I have it. It's available to me. I mean, like right now. Boom. Just in case anybody had any ideas. Get a face full of 40 caliber. All right, so. Are y'all with me now? So, you know, they abandoned of their own free will Gaza and the Hamas, you know, the Palestinians took it over, bulldozed all the hottest. They could have had the business. They could have stolen the business and kept the business. They weren't interested in that. All they're interested in is building rockets and killing Jews. That's all they ever want to do. And that's really that's how all of them want to do that, not just Hamas. That's why I'm not real, I'm not real sympathetic with the people as a whole, because they all hate Israel and they all hate us. Well, Pastor, you don't have any mercy. Well, yeah, I have mercy, but they have, they're in the world and they're there because they haven't been born again, and it's written in the Bible, they've always been enemies of Israel, and they always will be until they're what? Dead. Are y'all with me now? So, yeah, I'm a little concerned about Trump's peace deal, but I am rejoicing over the if they can get the hostages back, just 20 of them are alive, and they don't have much longer. I mean, they're starving to death, they're they're tortured. The stories they tell, I mean, it's going to take quite a lot of restoration for them to ever even be normal after such a terrible experience. A lot of them have witnessed their own children being butchered in front of them. I mean, just think about how much you love your children having, and you can't do anything, and you're just sitting there and then they're over there just doing unspeakable horrors to your infants, to your children, innocent little things that have never done anything. That's pure evil. And that entire mindset comes from where? Islam. So don't get me to get all excited about signing a peace treaty with these people because I don't believe they're going to honor it. I don't see it in the Bible. Okay, enough. We've gone along, but you get my drift on that. Let's, I mean, I'm supportive. I'm not trying to criticize Trump. I'm saying you better be careful. Don't you dare get on the side of making Israel give up their land because Gaza's their land. Gaza's their land. They gave it up, but it's still their land. And for us to get in there, I'm not as happy about that. It remains to be seen whether any of that's going to happen, too. We'll see whether the hostages actually get returned. That hadn't happened yet. I'm hopeful. They're dancing in the streets in Israel are rejoicing. Well, I want to rejoice with them. They need, I want to rejoice. I don't want to be mad. I don't want to be a stick in the mud, but yet I'm informed by this word right here. This is what I look to. And we we need to not be deceived. Alright, so uh then if faith is the victory that overcomes the world, then doubt is the victory that overcomes the believer. And let's determine to be a believer and not a doubter. That's why I'm going down this list because you know if you believe one lie, then it makes you open to believing other lies. And I just don't, when I see lies like what I see, associated with the Middle East particularly, I have to say something. Get you to think. Come on, you've got a brain. Think about it, think about this situation. Look back in history, see what they've ever done, ever, to keep their word, and you can't find one place where they ever have. They lie because it's permissible in their religion to do that. We are the infidels. And it's permissible. They can do anything to us, they can do anything they want to with us, and they don't feel guilty. Well, that's a that's a demonic that's a demonic religion. So uh, determined to be a believer, not a doubter, close the door of doubt, lock it out. Now, the language of faith we've already mentioned, you know, let's let's remember we've got a way of speaking. One of the greatest things that Brother Hagin had to teach, he, you know, God told him, Go teach my people faith. He had to teach his people how to talk. Because people talk death. You know, that's when you get when you're born of God, you still have this same body, you still have this same brain, and you tend to talk like you've always talked. You talk like the world talks. Oh, it just kills me to see that. Well, I'm just so devastated. Well, you know, so when you talk like that, you're talking like the world. Don't talk like that. I'm full of life. I don't have any death in me. I'll never be devastated. To be devastated means to be destroyed. I'll never be destroyed. I might come up against something that's hard to go through, but I'm going to overcome that thing. How? By faith. And by adopting a language of faith, you know, calling things that be not as though they were. Lord, I thank you. I have the evidence of things not yet seen. I saw it in the Bible. It's mine. I believe it's mine. I believe you gave it to me. Thank God it's mine. I tell Gladys, I'll say, honey, you know, God's word does not return to him void. It prospers in the thing whereto it is sent. It always accomplishes what he pleases. His word was sent to you and healed you. It's already done. I mean, I just preach to her. And she'll just go right along. She'll lift her hands and just agree with me and speak the word right along with me. But I have to kind of help her. I have to encourage her. Why? Because she's the one that's encountering all of these symptoms. Are you with me now? We're no different than you. I mean, you all have your battles. You'll all have, you'll always have things in the world. Jesus said in John 16, 33, in the world you shall have tribulation. But be of good courage. I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of its ability to harm you. I have conquered it for you. The amplified sense. So anytime something flares up, it's not God sending it, it's the world. We live in the world. We're not of it, but we're in it, and we're subject to the temptations thereof. That's all. You shouldn't get, you know, oh, how did this happen? Well, by you live in the world. That's how it happened. But then there's another way that things can happen to you, and that's when you leave a door open. The devil is always looking for open doors. Ephesians 4 says, give no place to the devil, which tells me the devil can't just come busting in without you leaving the door open or leaving it unlocked. Are you with me now? So in Mark 11, 23, you know what, you know, Jesus is the one that said it, you know, that you can have what you say. If you believe it in your heart and speak it with your mouth, you'll have what you say. So faith is of the heart, not the blood pump, the spirit. Faith is a spiritual force. Faith is accessed, not through your five senses, is accessed through your spirit. So I'm feeding your faith, faith food. Your faith is potentially able to grow by hearing this word coming to you under the anointing. It's going inside of you. What you do with it now is up to you. I mean, you can let it just you can just not catch it, let it go over your head. Incomplete pass. Third and 45. Fourth and ten. Got a punt. Punt. Kick the ball back to the devil. Let him take another run at you. No, I'm gonna, I'm gonna run it down his throat. I'm gonna take what I know about the word of God. I'm gonna speak it out of my mouth, no matter what it looks like, feels like, seems like. Are y'all with me now? So everybody say the language of faith. See, it's when your heart or your spirit has is hooked up to your tongue and you start speaking what's on the inside of you. It's gonna come to pass. I said it's gonna come to pass. I mean, every night I just inform my body what for. I mean, I don't waste time in the shower. I just spend my time in the shower talking to my body, every uh every body part. I just go down the list. Lord, I just thank you that my blood pressure is 120 over 80. My heart beats with the sinus rhythm through open blood vessels, free of plaque obstructions and clots, and all the electrical pathways in my heart are normal. I thank you, Lord. And I just go down the list. My hematological, dermatological systems, and all that. And I mean, I just go, I mean, I have a big long, well, why would you do that? Because my body's a complex organism. It's got all kinds of moving parts. There's all kinds of things that that can go haywire. And if you just let it go and you don't do anything, you don't say anything, you don't inform it how it ought to behave, then what have you got? You've got an open door. You do you go to bed at night and leave your front door of your house open? What would happen if you did that? I mean, you might wake up the next morning and have a snake in the in the house, you might have a raccoon or a possum or a robber or a thief. Something that you don't want. Maybe mosquitoes. You know, I grew up in the 50s and and, you know, we we didn't we didn't have home invasions in Galena Park, Texas. And so all we had, we didn't have air conditioning either. We didn't have central heat either. But we did have screen doors. Anybody grow up with a screen door and you got that little latch on there? That's the only thing keeping the outside outside and the inside inside with this little hook and eye on your screen door. And if that wasn't hooked and you had a wind or something come up, it'd go and it could blow your screen door wide open. You know, anybody remember that? I remember that too. I mean, it's kind of flimsy, but nobody lives like that anymore. No, we got a big old thick door. Some of us have got iron doors, you know, like a vault. And you got all these locks chick, click, click, chick, click. Why? Because we've got robbers, we've got things we want. To keep outside. See, it's the same with our spirit. And so the language of faith comes out of your heart, which is informed by the Word of God. Your spirit is of the Spirit. Your faith is of the Spirit. But now the language of doubt can sink your ship. See? I mean, what happened to Peter? Oh, Lord, save me. Well, that was the language of doubt. As soon as he said it, Jesus immediately caught him and kept him upright. And they walked all the way back to the ship. It's pretty amazing, really. I mean, Jesus had faith for both of them. You know, Jesus is right there beside you in the person of the Holy Ghost. You've got a helper. I mean, when your mind is weary, when your mind is overcome with every kind of attack and every kind of situation, well, faith is not of the mind, faith is of the heart. So learn to look on the inside where the Holy Ghost resides and let him help you in your situation. Lean on him. Holy Ghost, what have you got for me? I ask him that a lot. What have you got for me right now? I've had to ask him that a lot lately. And he helps me. Are you with me now? But the language of doubt, you know, it's just how we were raised. All of us were raised this way. Well, you know, brother, I just tell it like it is. That's just how I am. I just tell it like it is. Well, you know, you can reinforce what you got then. If you've got what you've got is hell, well, you can keep on having hell. If that's what you want, I'm not cussing. I'm just telling you what you got. You can have hell on earth with saying things like telling it like it is. That's nowhere in the Bible. Jesus didn't tell it like it is. He always spoke the best over people. He did correct his disciples, though, held them accountable. Well, but I'll believe that when I see it. Well, then why would you need to believe it then? You can see it. You don't need faith for something you already see. Faith works where? On the unseen. If you can't see it, that's what you need faith for. I mean, once you can see, how stupid a statement. I'll believe that when I see it. One lady, you know, she was a Presbyterian minister, won all kinds of awards. She was a wonderful Bible teacher in this town where Brother Hagin was holding meetings. And he would have, you know, he would teach the people faith, and he would have a couple of nights of healing where he'd have healing lines. People would come up, and this woman was ill. She didn't know anything about healing, so she didn't, she had enough humility to come to his meetings and listen to him preach. And so she came up and uh and so he laid hands on her, you know, in Jesus' name, and he moved to the next one, and she says, No, no, it's not gone. It's still here. And so he went back to her and he laid hands on her again and started to move on, move away from her and said, No, no, no, it's still here. Uh no, pain's still here. She's here testing herself, you know. And so finally he said, You know, three times ought to be enough for anybody. So he hands on her the third time, and then he just moved on. She went back, she went back and obviously was not healed. She had not received. And he and the preacher, the the pastor came to him that night and said, Oh, Brother Hagin, you know, you laid hands on Sister Bucketmouth over here, and she uh she's hurting the meeting. Her her doubt and unbelief is spreading. People are saying, Man, if Sister Bucketmouth can't get her healing, what am I doing in line? I'm I'm hopeless. I don't, I'm not near as spiritual as she is. I'm not near as elevated in in God as she's highly respected. See, but it's you know, people start looking at somebody as their example instead of the word, instead of Jesus. And you know, they they they had her on this pedestal that she didn't belong on. And uh, and so the Holy Ghost started dealing with Brother Hagin. He says, I know how you can you can fix this. You'll call her back up tonight. So he he didn't wait for her to come in. He said, Sister so-and-so, come on up here. Now I want you to lift your hands, and I'm gonna lay my hands on you. God's power is gonna come into you, and you're gonna say, I believe I've received my healing. Just say it. And she said, You mean to tell me that you want me to say that I believe something that I can't see? And she battered her eyes. He said, He she battered her eyes at him like a toad frog in a West Texas hailstorm. I love that generation. They just he did kind of tell it like it is. But anyway, you mean to tell me that you expect me to believe something I can't see? He said, That's exactly what I'm telling you. Well, I will never do that. He said, Well, turn around and go back and get seated because you'll never get healed like with that attitude and with that way of thinking. And everybody else in the church heard what he said and they got their healing. She didn't get her healing. She never did get healed. He came back the next two years and she never did get healed. She is so stubborn that she would not believe something she couldn't see, which is the definition of faith. So it doesn't matter how many awards you have, whether you're a pastor or what. You know, this works for everybody. Are you with me now? The language of doubt. I'll believe it when I see it. Well, God allowed me to do without to teach me a lesson. I I talked to a lady one time who had a bad car wreck, laid up in the hospital for a week, and she happened to be a witness, you know, and got a lady saved when she her her roommate in the uh bedmaid in her room. They had two in a room, and she was able to witness to the woman, and she got she got uh saved while they were there, and she said, I know God sent that car wreck just so that I could get that lady, you know, saved. I said, Oh no, that's not God. God doesn't do that. Would you make your child sick so they could do something? I said, There's no way God did that. Well, you can't tell me that. I mean, I'm there's no way you. I said, okay, fine, I won't tell you. You know, some people are just willingly ignorant, aren't they? Faith's confessions create realities. Let's say that together. Faith's confessions create realities. Man, what a what a powerful thing that is. Your words, your language. Now let's look at Matthew 17. You get anything out of this today? I'm talking about locking out the doubt. I mean, we've got to eliminate it. We've got to exterminate it. We've got to keep it out of our spirit, because our spirit is where everything happens. Luke 17, or excuse me, Matthew 17, sorry. Matthew 17, verse 14. When they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, talking about Jesus, kneeling down to him and saying, Lord, have mercy on me, on my son. Have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and sore vexed. For oft times he falleth into the fire and into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. They could not. Didn't say they would not, said they could not. And then answered Jesus and said, Oh, faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me. And in the in the Passion translation, there in verse 17, Jesus replied, Where is your faith? Talking to the disciples. Where is your faith? Can't you see how wayward and wrong this generation is? How much longer do I have to stay with you and put up with your doubts? Put up with your doubts. See, talking to the disciples' doubts. Bring your son to me. And so and Jesus rebuked the devil and he departed out of it, and the child was cured from that very hour. And the disciples said, Well, why couldn't we cast him out? And Jesus said, Because of your unbelief, because of your doubt. So doubt robbed that little boy of his deliverance. It robbed the son's father of what he needed. It robbed everybody of the example that they could have had as disciples. That this is not just for Jesus, it's for everyone that Jesus empowered. When you go back to Matthew chapter 10, he had already sent them out. He sent the twelve out and gave them power to cast out demons and power to cure all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. They had the power. Everybody said they had the power. I mean, it wasn't that they the cure didn't happen just because they didn't have the power. They had the power, but they didn't doubt, short-circuited the power. See, faith is the switch that turns on the power of God. Faith gives action to the power. When I turn that light switch on, it's dark in here. Sometimes during the week I come in here for business. I've got to handle something. I turn that one switch on, click, and it illuminates. See, the switch turns on the and makes action, gives action to the power. The power's been out there. It's in the wall. But it's not to the lights yet. I've got to what? Turn on the switch. How do you turn on the switch? With your mouth and with your heart. The disciples just didn't, they didn't, they doubted. They doubt. Everybody say they doubted. They doubted. And the little boy did without his deliverance until Jesus showed them how to do it yet again. So we have power to overcome. Faith gives action to that power. But doubt short circuits God's power. Amen. So let's lock out the doubt. You know, Brother Hagin, again, when he was traveling in the field ministry, came to this church that he used to pastor. And he was familiar with this young man that grew up in the church. And he had epilepsy. And in those days, Brother Hagin had this way of ministering to demonic powers. He would know by way of a manifestation where the power would jump from one hand to the other, and that's why he knew that a demonic power is directly responsible for an infirmity, and he would deal with that demonic power first before healing could come. Later on, as he developed in his ministry, then he would just know by the Spirit. He would know by the revelation, discerning of spirits, would operate that way, and he no longer needed any extra manifestation to know. And not all infirmity comes directly from a demon, not even epilepsy. Epilepsy can just be something that people face. It doesn't necessarily mean a person has a demonic power. But in this case, this young man, it did. He cast the devil out of him and he was healed, and everything was fine. So the next year, a year later, Brother Hagin is back in this church that he used to pastor. He knows this kid. He sees him in the crowd, and he hasn't come up. This is before he starts praying for anybody, and he notices this young man in the crowd, and the Holy Ghost starts talking to him about this young man. He said, Now, this young man has been free this whole year, but in the last 30 days, he's had three bad seizures. He's had three seizures. Now I want you to come and minister to him, cast the devil back out of him, and show him and teach him how to maintain his deliverance. So Brother Hagin called him up. He said, because he he let fear in. That's what the Holy Ghost told him. He let fear in. So he called him up. He said, you know, I ministered to you a year ago, and let me just tell you, don't say a thing. Let me tell you, and you tell me if I'm right. The Holy Ghost tells me that you've been free this whole year, except that this last month you've had three seizures, and it's because you let fear in. Is that right or wrong? He said, Brother Hagin, that's right. That's absolutely right. It's exactly right. He said, I went to bed afraid, and I fell asleep before I dealt with the fear, and I woke up with a seizure, and I and I haven't been able to get rid of them since then. And so then he said, Well, now he taught him about fear. God didn't give you a spirit of fear, power, love, and a sound mind. You you just stand against fear. Don't ever go to bed afraid. Don't let fear rule you. And so he cast the devil back out of him and he was completely healed. See, doubt. Fear and doubt are the Siamese twins from hell. Listen, you don't have any business fearing any more than you have business doubting. Are you with me now? Isn't that exactly what happened to Peter? He was afraid. He was afraid. I mean, fear is the doorway for doubt to steal from you and rob you. So abide in the language of faith. Act like the Bible is true. Close and lock the door of your heart. Don't let doubt rob you. Lock out the doubt. Come on, lift your hands and receive right now. Hallelujah. Everybody say, I'm locking out the doubt. I refuse to walk by fear. I walk by faith. Come on, let's rejoice today. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Did you get anything out of this today? Well, it's a simple message, but I find that you know the simple things are the easy things to let slip, and then we pay the price when we let them slip. And uh so let's let's make sure we lock out the doubt. Praise God. Thank you, Lord.
