Glorious Way Church
The Importance Of Signs And Wonders | Pastor John Greiner
This message reflects on Philip’s ministry in Samaria, where preaching was accompanied by miracles, healings, and deliverance. It emphasizes that the gospel is not just words but must be demonstrated with power, just as in the early church. Listeners are urged to embrace their role as believers—not just pastors or ministers—in sharing the gospel and expecting signs and wonders to follow. It’s a stirring reminder that revival comes through bold proclamation confirmed by God’s supernatural power.
Lift our Bibles, wave them around. It's our custom around here. We like to wave our Bibles. Make Jesus glad and the devil mad. Say this together. Say, heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here in this gathering of saints in an atmosphere of miracles, signs and wonders. I'm part of a church that sparkles with the supernatural. I'll never be satisfied with church as usual. I want the supernatural. I want to be like Jesus, who healed the sick, who raised the dead, who cast out devils. Jesus is my example in. In Jesus name, amen, you can be seated. Hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Let's look at Acts, chapter 8, please. I had another message and, just like Dr Paye, I had to change it. Like he said a trend last week, he had another message and he had to change it Sunday morning. How many of you were here Sunday morning last week? Wasn't that powerful? I mean that was awesome Sunday morning and Sunday morning. How many of you were here Sunday morning last week? Wasn't that powerful? I mean that was awesome Sunday morning and Sunday night. But you're just regular pastors back today. So I mean, am I chopped liver or what? Okay, all right, praise God, thank you.
Speaker 1:Brother Osteen used to say he that tooteth not his own horn, the same shall not be tooted. And so that's what All right Acts, chapter eight, verse one, and Saul Now that word Saul there is the apostle Paul, before he became converted. So Saul of Tarsus, saul, was consenting unto his death. Whose death? Well, that was Stephen's martyrdom. Stephen, the chapter before, was stoned. So Saul was consenting unto Stephen's death.
Speaker 1:And at that time there was great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem, and they were all scattered abroad, throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. See, believers Everybody say believers were scattered, and devout men carried Stephen to his burial and made great lamentation over him and for Saul. As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house and hailing men and women and committing them to prison. Therefore, they that were scattered abroad, everybody say the believers went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ unto them, and the people, with one accord, gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did, because unclean spirits crying with loud voice came out of many that were possessed with them, and many taken with palsies and that were lame, were healed, and there was great joy in that city. And so today I wanted to share a message entitled the importance of signs and wonders. The importance of signs and wonders. The early church we see here, the gospel begins to spread. They had been three years in Jerusalem with no activity.
Speaker 1:You know, jesus said in Acts 1.8, you know you shall receive power, dunamis. Didn't you appreciate Dr Paley last week telling us what dunamis, what dunamis means? Dunamis is picked up from the Greek in the nomenclature of the day, dunamis described the power released in hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes and that type of thing. I mean dunamis is supernatural power, but it's massive power as opposed to authority. So Jesus said you shall receive the supernatural power. They already had the authority when Jesus rose from the dead. He said all authority in heaven and earth given unto me, go ye therefore. So all the church had the authority, but they had not yet received what the dunamis, they had not received that supernatural power he said. He said tarry in Jerusalem and you shall receive power. You shall receive dunamis after the Holy Ghost comes upon. You See, that's the baptism in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. We speak in tongues in this church. We're not ashamed of tongues. We're not ashamed of Holy Ghost power because Jesus said we needed it.
Speaker 1:That don't leave home without it is basically what he said Don't leave without the Holy Ghost. You're gonna go through life with one hand, maybe both hands, tied behind your back, without the power. It'd be like a cop going out on the beat without his gun. You know, just, he's got the authority of the uniform, he's got the authority of the badge, but no gun. Oh, I'll tell you, it wouldn't be too healthy. And then it's not that healthy now, because it takes an act of Congress to get the guy to be able to pull his gun. He's got to do everything else and put his life at risk. That needs to all change folks.
Speaker 1:But anyway, getting back to this, they had not left. He said you shall be witnesses when you get this power. You'll be witnesses unto me, both, both in Jerusalem and in Judea, samaria and the uttermost parts. He didn't say first in Jerusalem and then later on, no, he said both all get out there, in other words. And they didn't get out there. And so then you know, persecution arose in part because of their disobedience to Jesus. You know, I mean not God didn't send the persecution, but I mean you know what he? He also. Just he lifts his hand just a little bit and he lets.
Speaker 1:Okay, if you're not going to do what I say, well, here you're opening the door to Satan to start messing with you, and I don't think the church at Jerusalem really ever even recovered. I mean, if you look in the book of Corinthians and Galatians different books he's receiving an offering for the church in Jerusalem. I mean, they just never did get on the beam. I mean they got stuck in Judaism. In Judaism, I mean, the church in Jerusalem was consumed with keeping hold of the feasts and the traditions of men rendered the word of God in effect. And so I'm just bringing you up to speed. I mean, the church is not an organization, it's a movement. It's designed to move, and if it's stationary it's not going to work. The church has been too stationary for too long, which is why we're seeing the horrible things we're seeing in our land today and all across the world, and so, thank God, it's beginning to move. You know, I mean we got our fuse lit. Are y'all with me now?
Speaker 1:So persecution arose because of disobedience, and believers were scattered abroad See diaspora. They were sown like seed. They were sown like seed. I mean, believers are designed to preach the gospel. Believers are designed to teach the gospel. Believers are designed to lay hands on sick people. Believers are designed to teach the gospel. Believers are designed to lay hands on sick people. Believers are designed to cast out demons.
Speaker 1:Not just the preacher up here, not just the visiting ministry, no, it's the believer's ministry and we need to get ourselves in gear right now. We need to take advantage of the believers ministry. Let's get out there because there's a great need right now. Are you with me? So here we see in this chapter we see Philip, who was one of the original first seven deacons. The ministry of helps was established in the church in Jerusalem because they had a big, massive crowd come in and they had all kind of disorder. I mean, god can't bless a mess. He's got to have divine order. You've got to have people assigned to tasks in the church besides the preacher.
Speaker 1:My job is to preach. My job is to study the word. My job is to make sure that when I come, I come with something that the Holy Ghost wants you to hear, like that's why, early this morning you know, five o'clock in the morning God changed my message. I mean, I would have liked it yesterday. If it could have happened yesterday afternoon, it would have been a little more convenient. But God's not interested in my convenience, he's interested in making sure you have what you need.
Speaker 1:And so this message, I mean I was gonna preach on, you know, satan's hierarchy revealed. I was going to preach about the demoniac, because we got a lot of demoniacs running around our country, don't we? I mean all these men with women's clothes and beards on and going in the women's bathroom, I mean that is devils, that's demons, folks, that's just like the demoniac. What do we do with those? We cast them out. That's just like the demoniac. What do we do with those? We cast them out. That's what we do Cast them out of the bathroom and then out of the person. Okay, anyway, all right, but Philip was one of the seven deacons, in other words, basically, they were charged with waiting on tables. They were the original ushers. Philip was another one.
Speaker 1:Philip was not an evangelist. In fact, just turn back to chapter seven there. And it said that, uh, in that, uh, philip, let's see here chapter six it says Stephen, full of faith and power. Now, remember, stephen is not a, not an evangelist, he's not a licensed minister, he's in the ministry of helps, he's basically an usher, and he went to preach right there in his hometown, there in Jerusalem, he, full of faith and power, to the same people who but a lot of them had had had yelled crucify him. Crucify, I mean, they're not exactly your friends. And he goes and he preaches, and he did. He was full of faith and power. He did great wonders and miracles among the people and right there in the synagogue, and so that he got his. And so they, they listened to him preach a while until he got to the difficult part that they were responsible for Jesus. And and uh, they had listened to Jesus, had listened to the prophets. They killed Jesus, they killed the prophets, and then they just got so mad, they rushed on him and they, they stoned him to death.
Speaker 1:How many of you knowoning is not the same as lethal injection? I mean, a lethal injection is you just fall asleep and you die and you don't even know you're dead until you're in hell. Then you wake up in hell. That's not a very fine place to live. Now some of them get saved at the last minute. I don't say they all go to hell, but a lot of them do. I've been on death row and most of them are demon-possessed. And you stay in that place 20 years waiting on your death. You get full of devils Most of them do. There's a few, there's a few, there's always a few. But so, anyway, stoning Just think about one stone at a time kills you. It's not even I mean, it's not even hanging Hanging's pretty quick, I mean.
Speaker 1:I think Utah has the firing squad. That wouldn't be too bad for this young punk that killed, assassinated Charlie Kirk. We could put him in front of a firing squad. That wouldn't be too bad for this young punk that killed, assassinated Charlie Kirk. We could put him in front of a firing squad. Do you know how many decades it's going to take for that to happen? I'm not going to hold my breath.
Speaker 1:Pastor, you're talking about the death penalty, what you know. God invented the death penalty, did you know that? And we got away from it. And what did crime do? Crime went way through the roof. We need to have the death penalty and we need to have it real fast. I'm going to go on record right now we need to have the death penalty and we need to enforce the laws. We need to give them a fair trial and after the fair trial, and maybe one or two little whatever procedural things, then they go and they get put to death by whatever means. I don't think torturing is right, but I don't think that just putting them in prison and spending millions of dollars to feed them and house them is right either. They need to be put to death as an example of what not to do. God invented it. It couldn't be evil if God invented it.
Speaker 1:See that the whole thing is a denial of God and his word. That's when you start really looking at these, these lily livered people that are standing up protesting the death penalty. They don't believe in the Bible, they don't believe in God, they hate Jesus. So what they've got demons. We need to quit. Look at listening to demons. Are y'all with me now? All right? So getting back to Philip, he was.
Speaker 1:He was executed for what he said, just like Charlie Kirk. Basically, I've heard him, you know, but Charlie had a much more merciful death. He basically died instantly and and Philip was one stone at a time and noticed the stones were were by everybody. It wasn't just by an executioner throwing a bunch of stones, it's everybody in the community. So everybody participated in the execution of justice, so that they would have a right respect for the law and a right respect for what they're up to See.
Speaker 1:We've sanitized it now. We've gotten it away, and we don't have public executions. And we don't do that. Oh no, we can't let our. Now We've gotten it away and we don't have public executions, and we don't do that. Oh no, we can't let our children why not? I think some of these 12, 13, 14-year-old boys, if they had seen a few executions, they wouldn't be so ready to carjack you at the mall.
Speaker 1:Oh man, I didn't intend to get into all of this. I mean, I'm stirring up the pot. That's kind of what I do the pot stir, anyway, all right. So so Philip's gone and so I mean Stephen is gone. So Philip says well, you know what Stephen did, so I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go to Samaria.
Speaker 1:We don't know how he went to Samaria. We don't know why he went to Samaria. We don't know why he went to Sychar, which is where the woman at the well was. When Jesus was in Samaria, he was talking to the woman at the well at this same place and there's no record of Jesus doing any miracles there, and the Samaritans were kind of half breed Jews, so they were on the outs with Jews, jews and Samaritans. You know they didn't get along that well. And so here he goes to a group that maybe not as friendly to him as it could be.
Speaker 1:But, man, I tell you, when he started preaching he, what? What did he do? Did he preach, you know, the Baptist hymnal to them? Did he? Did he preach the mass? Did he have a mass there? No, he preached Christ, the anointed one of all of his anointing. He preached Christ to them and Christ really is the anointed one.
Speaker 1:Jesus said in Luke 4, 18, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to five groups of people the broke, the brokenhearted, the blind, the bound and the bruised. In other words, suffering, sighing, dying humanity. The gospel is for all the human condition. It's not just fire insurance, it's not just for getting to heaven. That's the most important of the five, but that's not the only part. See, this church is a full gospel church and I want to make sure that the members of this church are full gospel preachers and teachers and that we have signs and wonders and miracles that accompany our message, because that's what the apostles had, that's what Jesus did when Jesus preached. You know he. He went about there in Matthew nine 35.
Speaker 1:It says he went about all of Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. So he went about teaching, preaching and healing. Everybody say teaching, preaching and healing, teaching and healing. And the people that received the teaching and the preaching got the healing. The people that didn't receive the teaching and the preaching didn't. But why was the healing? Why was all of that? To give legitimacy to the message? Isn't that exactly what Philip did? Philip said, okay, this is good enough for Jesus, this is good enough for Philip, it's good enough for the apostles. I'm going to do what they did. I'm not a preacher, but I'm going to get up and I'm going to share this message.
Speaker 1:Preaching is just proclaiming, teaching is explaining. You don't have to be a Bible teacher with a pulpit to explain to somebody what the word means. Pulpit to explain to somebody what the word means, I mean listen. The least one of you that knows the least amount that's been coming here the shortest time. You know more than most of the people in the whole world. I've traveled the whole world and people I mean people go to church. They're ignorant of the word. They do not have the word, they do not have the revelation of the word that we've got. This is, I mean, we know so much, we have experienced so much. You've got your testimony needs to be told. You need to tell people how you got saved. You need to tell people how you got healed. You need to tell people what God has done for you. That's what we're talking about. So, and then signs and wonders show up when you do that, to legitimize your message.
Speaker 1:And that's exactly what they did. I mean, they gave heed to the things that Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles, which he did. They heard devils leaving people screaming, coming out. Miracles, which he did. They heard devils leaving people screaming, coming out. They. They saw people get up out of wheelchairs or or or maybe throwing their canes down. They were lame and then they walked. People that had palsy. Palsy was a was a terminal disease from which there was no cure Generally. You just died, paralyzed, until you just you know, it was a terrible thing. It just took over your whole body until you couldn't breathe and they got up off their bed and walked, and so they heard and saw the miracles which he did. How did he do it? He did them in the name of Jesus. Who performed them? You know, the Holy Ghost did. What did he do? And he's legitimizing what Philip was speaking. What was Philip speaking? The gospel. The gospel is the power of God. It's good news. I said it's good news Talking about today the importance of signs and wonders.
Speaker 1:We don't need a sterilized church. We don't need the number of churches there are in America that are dead, that have no demonstration of the spirit. This is not one of those. I'm telling you, we're going to stay. You can have what you preach. I'm preaching this, you've all heard it, but I'm going to preach it again because I want more signs and wonders, I want more healings. I want your testimonies to be just to abound. This is a milestone year. God said back last December of 2024, that 2025 be a milestone year. Some of these milestones are milestones of healing, milestones of, of of deliverance, where you've been bound and now you've been set free by the power of God.
Speaker 1:So he, uh he, philip preached the good news to the broke, the brokenhearted, the blind, the bound, the bruised, and the whole city was filled with joy. What he and what they witnessed, I mean, they were just filled with joy. So everybody say miracle signs and wonders. So you know, in Mark, chapter 16, after Jesus told him go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe in my name. They shall Cast out devils went first on the list. Did he say preachers? No, he said believers. Those who believe. Believers cast out devils. Believers and most of what it's talking about. They're treading on serpents and, you know, picking up snakes and all that.
Speaker 1:It has to do with demon powers. We have to deal with demon powers in this nation. We have demons in this nation mostly because we've imported them from overseas. We had them before, but now we've got a whole fresh bunch. Need to control our borders and we need to control our immigration policy and not import a bunch of people that worship false gods. There's only one God that's real. The rest of them are all false, and so when we let them come in here, they bring their what Devils, their demons, come with them. Are y'all with me now Listen. We're in charge. We're the people. Government of the people, by the people, for the people. We're the people. We need to start speaking up. I said we need to start speaking up.
Speaker 1:There's no separation of church and state. That's a lie. That's unconstitutional. The Johnson Amendment should never have been passed. Who passed it? Lyndon Johnson, so that he would delegitimize most of the church and empower the black church to vote Democrat. That's why that exists and we need to get rid of it and get rid of all these. There is no black church or white church. There's just one church. My Bible says there's one church, there's one Jesus, there's one spirit. We need to get rid of that idea. Are y'all with me now? All right?
Speaker 1:So in Mark, chapter 16, it said they went everywhere preaching the gospel of the Lord, working with them, confirming the word, with signs following. That's exactly what happened here. You know, philip just got up there. He's kind of wet behind the ears. He's just, he's a deacon, he's not a preacher. I'm sure he didn't have a real polished message. It didn't have to be very polished. He just preached what he knew. He preached what he had heard in church. He preached what the apostles had preached. He just preached what he had already heard and I mean God showed up to confirm the word, he legitimized what he was speaking and I mean I mean people were healed. Are y'all with me now? Glory to God. All right, let's keep reading here Acts, chapter eight.
Speaker 1:Get anything out of this. I want to encourage you. I mean, you know, I heard this 40 odd years ago and I took Brother Osteen serious and I was. Yeah, I knew I had a call on my life, but I wasn't in that call yet. I'm just a, I'm a brand new believer being discipled and I had enough sense to go now and start giving my testimony and laying my hands on sick people and people started getting healed. And, yeah, I had a few embarrassments. I had a few people that I laid hands on and I couldn't tell any difference. Well, welcome to the club. I mean, it doesn't say that everything's going to be instant. Whose reputation are you worried about, yours or his? Whose reputation are you worried about, yours or his? So I want to do what the Bible says to do. All right. So verse nine.
Speaker 1:But there was a certain man called Simon. There's always a fly in this ointment, simon. There was a certain man named Obama, which before time, in the same city, used sorcery. He's decided now, after Charlie Kirk got assassinated, he needs to say a few things. Well, shut up, you just go back into retirement, go back to Martha's Vineyard or wherever else you go, and we're not interested in anything. You have to say You're a fraud. You've always been a fraud. I said he was a fraud in 2007. I had a whole line of people get up out of the middle and go hit the door and leave. They didn't like what I said, but I stand by what I say then and now he's a fraud. So there was a certain man called Simon which before time, in the same city, used sorcery and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one. Remember Obama, get up.
Speaker 1:And they did the sound effect that made him sound like God. You know they got the echoes going, had the Corinthian columns all in this place, and I mean the news media, they. You know he had to. He had to project the idea that he's going to lower the seas. The seas are going to guess what? The seas didn't lower. I mean, they haven't moved at all. They're trying to lie to you saying that the water level is right, it hadn't risen. There is no global warming. There's no man-made global warming. It's all a bunch of hooey to grab power over you and make you afraid. So you'll do whatever the government tells you. Thank God, that's over. We're gonna keep it on the run too. We're gonna keep it running out, all right. So to whom?
Speaker 1:Verse 10, they all gave heed. See, the whole Samaria gave heed to this man, from the least to the greatest, saying this man is the great power of God and to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries and so. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, and they were baptized, both men and women, so they had a mighty revival there. I mean, people got baptized. The test of revival in those days particularly, was when you got baptized, because when you got baptized, everybody knew you were serious, and then if your family didn't agree, then they would disown you and disinherit you, and so it was amazing, you know, it set you apart when you got baptized. Then Simon himself believed also, and when he was baptized he continued with Philip and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Speaker 1:Praise God. See, you know, there's hope for some of these people. I said there's hope for some of these people. Some of these people are going to get saved, some of the worst ones are going to get saved. So, though, yet, see, though I mean I have a whole message on, though, yet see, though I mean I have a whole message on, though, yet though, he bewitched the region, yet the gospel, confirmed by signs and wonders, broke the sorcery.
Speaker 1:See, though, yet see, it wasn't intercession, it wasn't a praise and worship conference, it wasn't. You know, I'm sure there was intercession, I'm sure there was praise and worship, but that's not. What did it? What did it was the gospel with demonstration. What do you mean? The gospel with demonstration? I'm talking about the gospel not just to go, not the Billy Graham gospel, where you just answer the odd call to go to heaven. I'm talking about the gospel, the full gospel, where people got saved and delivered right there, on the spot, and healed on the spot. Not a faith thing. Well, you know, check. No, I mean, right then, people, demons, came out of people. Right then, people got up out of wheelchairs. Right then, are y'all with me now? That's called demonstration Paul talked about in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2.
Speaker 1:He said and my preaching and teaching were not with persuasible words of men's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power, that your faith would not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. That's exactly how Jesus preached. He preached with what Demonstration of the Spirit. In other words, the words were being preached and the Holy Ghost would demonstrate. The Greek word apodexis, which means showing. Really the root word is showing off when the word of God is preached without any kind of reservation. When you preach God's word, the Holy Ghost will show up and show off and people get healed. Oh, come on, lift your hand right now. Thank God for healing. I mean, even Simon got it. Even Simon, he was into the occult. Hey, I mean, you talk about full of the devil. He was full of the devil and guess what? He got saved and he got baptized. I'll tell you, the devil can't compete against demonstration of the spirit and power. The devil can't compete and we need more of that.
Speaker 1:The church, you know, right now we're going to have a. I read in one of my websites, breitbart I follow Breitbart News and they're pretty solid and they were talking about the gospel was going to be preached here at Charlie Kirk's celebration here in Arizona. The gospel was going to preach and the only thing that I know is that they're not going to get any have any healing, because they didn't. It didn't have any demonstration, say it's just the gospel. Well, thank God for the gospel. I rejoice, I'm glad the gospel being preached, but I'm here to say it's not enough for this country. We need the full gospel.
Speaker 1:Don't forget that there's no genuine revival without healing and deliverance. You're not going to get people to really change all the way around. If you don't have, if you don't have God confirm his word with signs and wonders and miracles, then basically what you have is you're setting up yet more discussion groups. And why do I believe what I believe? Well, you believe what you believe in. I believe what I believe in. We can have a little discussion. Let's have a conversation. Let's go back and forth, back and forth. You know that's not what Jesus did. Jesus didn't have any conversations. He cast devils out. He healed the sick right there on the spot.
Speaker 1:We got to get back to the church. It's got to be sparkling. Come on, lift your hands right now. We're not willing for that to be left undone. We're wait, pastor, you're critical, I'm not critical, I'm just saying it isn't enough. I'm glad, I'm glad for whatever comes, but it's not enough, wasn't enough to keep him alive. Wasn't enough to keep him alive. Listen, we've got to have the full. I preached this week before last. We've got to have on the whole armor of God. We've got to have the dunamis. We've got to have the earthquake power behind the authority. Are y'all with me? Now? Nothing else will do, though. Yet though this man was demon possessed, demonized and had bewitched the entire region, yet the preaching of the gospel, with demonstration, confronted that demon power and confronted that regional spirit that had that whole place bound and broke it, and people came to the Lord, people got baptized. Glory to God. So that's why I'm saying there's hope for America, Though yet we've been seduced for a long time with a spirit of antichrist. That's why I saw all this is right now.
Speaker 1:You know, I listened to some of the Hannity. I listened to some of the guys you know, fox and other places, and they're all spending so much time saying I just don't understand the Democrats. I don't understand why they're doubling down. They know it's a 90, 10, 98, two issue why do they keep? I just don't understand. I understand they're full of the devil. Why don't you get it? Understand they're full of the devil, why don't you get it? They have sold their soul to Satan for power and money. That's it. It's not complicated folks. It's not complicated. It's easy to understand when you know what the Bible says, and so that's why it makes no sense to try to reach across the aisle and compromise with the devil.
Speaker 1:It is the spirit of antichrist, the spirit you know, john. The first John says there are many antichrists in the world. So there is the antichrist which we don't know. He has not been revealed yet because we're still here as long as the church is here. He will not be revealed when we leave, he will be revealed. Read your Bible and then he's going to, he's going to have a treaty with Israel and Israel is going to have a treaty with the antichrist, and then they're going to think they have peace, but then, halfway through the tribulation, then they're going to find out it was all a lie. That's why I'm not so hot on all these treaties with Muslim nations. I don't get that they're ever gonna be a friend of America or a friend of Israel, as long as they believe what they believe. Are y'all with me now? Yeah, we've been seduced for a long time with the spirit of Antichrist 2014, when the Supreme Court decided to redefine marriage and all across this country.
Speaker 1:You know, under Obama, obama did more to advance the homosexual agenda than anybody. He did more for the pedophiles. He did more for every all that nasty, dirty stuff that you're saying. It was him and Michelle baby. They advanced that whole thing because that's what they are.
Speaker 1:Oh, you can't say that. Well, I'm just saying it. I don't care whether you like it, I'm saying it. I know it's true. They can't stop me from saying it. They say worse every day about Trump. They say worse every day about Trump. They say worse every day about Trump. That's not true, hitler. Are you kidding? You know what the Democrats always do is, whatever they're guilty of it, they always accuse the other person.
Speaker 1:But anyway, once we went down that line, once we went down that line, we uncorked a huge, massive release of demonic powers across our country and it's resulted in all of this mess. And look what God has done. Now, look what God has done. I'm through talking about the devil and what he's done. God has done something much greater. He has pulled the plug on that whole thing.
Speaker 1:But we've got to keep the pressure up. We cannot go back and think, well, that was last year, let's just do something. No, no, from now on until Jesus comes, we're going to have to put the pedal to the metal and we're going to have to keep on contending for the faith. We're going to have to keep on, not not wear our feelings on our sleeve and not be worried about the names that are going to be called. We're going to have to make sure we rise up and speak up and show up. Are y'all with me now? Signs everybody say signs, wonders and miracles. Yeah, the church kind of bowed, the church kind of hiccuped, but some of us decided no, we're going to fight.
Speaker 1:This church got really involved in 2014 when Anise Parker, who is running for county judge, mayor of Houston, was not good enough. Now she wants the county judge. I say, no, go back to Harvard, go back wherever you're from. I don't. We're going to work against her. We know what she's all about.
Speaker 1:She, she's the one that that subpoenaed five pastors and wanted not only their sermon notes, but how how did they arrive at the sermons they want. He, she wanted to get inside their head because she didn't like that. They were preaching against gay marriage. Well, there's no such thing as gay marriage. Marriage is between one man and one woman, that's it. There's no other.
Speaker 1:Whatever the Supreme Court said is not true. It needs to be overturned. Oh, we can't do that. Oh, no, that, no, we need to do that. So you can't give these people any outs.
Speaker 1:You know what I just read, though, this morning? See that the LGBTQ plus plus and all that. Well, the LGB has got a declaration of independence. They want to get separated from the trans, because the trans is just, they don't like the trans, they don't believe in that. No, the lesbians I'm a woman, I'm not a trans, I'm a woman, I'm a. You know, don't be bringing the trans in here, because that's not really a lesbian, that's a true. So they're. They're fighting among each other. My point is they're fighting among each other.
Speaker 1:I tell you, god is. He is driving the demonic powers out of this nation. We're getting, they're getting under our feet and we're gonna be able to get some of these people not all of them, but some of them are gonna get safe. Some of them are gonna be gloriously safe. I mean just last week, I mean there were some that came up in the altar call at Charlie Kirk's vigil at Discovery Green. They had their rainbow tattoos and they came up weeping and crying getting saved. And so, look, don't think that I'm condemning people. I hate the devil, what the devil has done to human beings, and that's been.
Speaker 1:That's because the church has been too lackadaisical, not getting involved in politics, not getting involved in local and and state and and national races. We just kind of go to sleep and, oh, no, I can't. Oh, we don't want to separate any characters. He said well, it's not even that's not even constitutional, it's never been challenged. I just double-dogged Durham to challenge us. Today we're going to violate every tenet of it. We have been. I don't care whether they like it or they don't Go ahead, and we've got lots of lawyers ready to take our case. We're going to overturn that thing once and for all while we've got the right administration.
Speaker 1:So, bottom line, pastor, you're preaching politics, I'm preaching our whole. This is our Samaria, this nation. We have a right to preach the gospel. Everybody in this nation has a right to hear the gospel. Everyone does. They have no right to stop us from preaching. And so we are.
Speaker 1:But it's not just me, see, it's you. Everybody say it's me. See, every one of us has a testimony. Every one of us has an opportunity to reach our world. It's preaching, it's not, it's just proclaiming. You're going to proclaim, then you're going to explain, that's teaching, and then you're going to have healing and deliverance, because God's going to show up and and confirm what you're saying. Bold, be bold and full of the word, full of the Holy ghost. Watch God shake this region, watch God shake our nation and get it right side up again, get it straightened out again, and we'll see a mighty revival in the church and awakening in the church and a reformation for the world. Come on, lift your hands. The importance of signs and wonders. Hallelujah. Everybody say signs and wonders are for today. Hallelujah, come on, let's rejoice this morning. Hallelujah, glory to God. Thank you, father.
