Glorious Way Church

Unchanging Value | Ilka Peh

Ilka Peh

In this heartfelt word, the speaker uses the image of a $100 bill—dropped, stepped on, or crumpled—to remind believers that their value never changes. No matter the wounds, lies, or rejection they’ve faced, in Christ they remain new creations, full of worth and called to solve problems in the world. Blending personal family moments with biblical truth, she encourages listeners to rise again, embrace their God-given identity, and live as valuable carriers of His glory.

Speaker 1:

So today, you know, my wife and I, we are team ministry and we travel together and we minister together. So I asked her, you know, before I unpack what I had today, if she could come and, just you know, encourage you today and give you a word. And I tell you, don't be deceived by the blown hand, the good look, there's a tiger living on the inside. Amen. So can you put your hands together for my wife? Amen.

Speaker 2:

Good evening. It's an honor and a privilege to be back again at the Glorious Way Church and we love you so much. You know we travel all the time. We visit a lot of churches but we really love you. Thanks for who you are. Keep on being amazing. Keep on being who you are, because you both. You know my girl at lunch, after lunch, she almost got into the car with Pastor Gladys. She was hugging her. She got in the car. She came back out to give you another hug. The last time we were here she cried, she did not want to leave. She wanted to stay with Miss Selena J Allison. We love you, thank you.

Speaker 2:

You know I won't tell how long ago it was, because some people could figure out what church it was, but we went to one church and Destiny said I never want to come back to this church. The children's church is so bad. I'm telling you, whoever works in this children's church, here in this church, thank you, we salute you. You guys have excellent. My girl loves it, the kids love it. Thank you for your sacrifice, thank you for volunteering, thank you for making the difference. Who works here in Children's Church, in this church, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm telling you, my girl was so, so, so happy, excited all the way, just to come here. And you know, every time we've come here like we're going to leave. We left for three months, I think last September we left for three months, then the time in March, we left for three months. So next week we're going to go for three and a half months. We're going to be in Europe, africa and the Middle East. So keep us in your prayers. But I just want to also say thank you for your generosity. You have sent us around the world with generosity. Thank you for your monthly partnership. When they send us their offering, we were like wow, this helps us to sow into the nations, this helps us go where we are going, where people need the gospel, and sometimes they don't have the finances, but you guys put like money in our wings so we can go there and we can be a blessing. So I just wanted to say thank you, thank you for loving us the way you do. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Can we give a hug? You know I'm a hugger. We love you all, you know, and I don't want to share long, but I want to share something that happened this week.

Speaker 2:

This week we were in Louisiana with Pastor Mark and Trina and Miss Trina stopped her car where we were at and she said Destiny, come here. And Destiny came and we all said hi to her and we hugged her and then she opened her wallet and she gave Destiny $100. And we were standing there talking at the car window just having a little chat oh, they're so happy we were there, they're excited. And then Destiny dropped that $100. And she picked it back up and she said Miss Trina, do you have another $100? I want to give this one back to you because it fell on the ground and I would love another one. Can you exchange it with me? And you know I stood there and I was like, wow, that's how many people live their life. God made us valuable and the US dollar, this is the highest note and that's how God made you valuable.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians, 5, 17. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creation. All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. So you are like this brand new hundred dollar when you are in Christ, brand, brand new, shiny. It has this blue line on it.

Speaker 2:

And what happens in our life. We get dropped. Somebody steps on it, somebody steps on it. Somebody tells a lie about us, somebody hurts our feelings. Someone leaves the church, someone badmouths us. We give someone a favor and they see it as manipulation. You know the people you do the most good to. They will be the one that turn their back on you the easiest. We get stepped on. Sometimes we get spit on.

Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a question. I spit on this $100. What's the value of this $100? When I stepped on it, what's the value of this paper? When I crush it, when I push, have you ever felt like this? Somebody pushed you, somebody hurt you, somebody wounded you, somebody abused you, somebody. You know certain people can do things that really hurt us. Even pastors, we can sometimes feel like squeezed. Even ministers, sometimes we can feel like squeezed. We did everything for somebody and then we get squeezed. But I want you to look at this. This is still $100. The value has not changed. And I want to tell you today, today, I don't know what you've been through, I don't know what people have said about you, I don't know where you've been, what has happened, but I want to tell you that if you are in Christ, you are a new creation and that your value does not change. Your value does not change Even though that person doesn't like you anymore. That value doesn't change. Even somebody beat at you, abused you sexually, abused you, your value, that does not change. You are still worth that hundred dollars. You are still worth that $100. You are still that new creation in Christ and my husband was talking about.

Speaker 2:

We are glory carriers, we are revival workers. You carry something. Do you know why Jesus came? Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy. What are the works of the enemy? Sickness, bondage, pain, blindness. That's what the Bible says.

Speaker 2:

How so, why did Jesus come To destroy the works of the enemy? Bring healing, deliverance. Why did Jesus come? He came to solve problems. That's the reason Jesus came. We had one big problem the world and that was the sin problem. And Jesus came to solve the sin problem.

Speaker 2:

Now, why are you here? You're here to solve problems. You're here to solve problems. You're here to solve problems and Jesus solved problems because he was anointed. And you can solve problems because you are anointed.

Speaker 2:

But many people stop solving problems or don't solve problems or never solve problems, or used to solve problems and used to do things. But things happen and they held back and they're somewhere hiding. And they're somewhere hiding. Nobody can enjoy them anymore because somebody stepped on them, because they got hurt and wounded. But I'm telling you today, you're called to solve problems. You are the missing part in the puzzle. You're a life ring for someone drowning. You are a problem solver and you got to get up and say I'm a new creation in Christ. I can do all things in Christ and I have value. You have value, and the next time you go to the shop, the next time you have a hundred dollar or twenty dollar, you go to the shop. The next time you have $100 or $20, every time you see some money and it's a little wrinkled or it's real shiny.

Speaker 2:

I want you to think the value doesn't change if it's wrinkled. My value doesn't change. If I get hurt, my value doesn't change because somebody bad-mouthed me. My value doesn't change because somebody left me. My value doesn't change because somebody bad-mouthed me. My value doesn't change because somebody left me. My value doesn't change because I was abandoned. I was. You are valuable. You are amazing.

Speaker 2:

My girl didn't think about buying toys, didn't think about giving. She only thought about $100 that fell on the floor and that was dirty. And many times when we lay in our beds what we think about is $100 that is dirty, wrinkled, old, old. Today I want to give this hundred dollars to someone that says sometimes I feel like this, but today I want to get up and know that even I'm a little wrinkled, even I might be a little hurt, even I might be a little hurt, even I may be a little wounded.

Speaker 2:

My value never changed and Jesus came to solve problems. And you are here to solve problems and you will be effective to solve problems if you know who you are in Christ, if you know that you're valuable. Anyone. Come, yeah, come, hey, champ, you're a winner. You're awesome. You're a man of God. You're a a winner. You're awesome. You're a man of God. You're a world changer. You're valuable. We love you. Now, if you look in your wallet every time you see some dollars, I want you to remember I am valuable. It doesn't matter what I've been through. God bless you.
