Glorious Way Church
The Glory | Mark Hankins
This teaching focuses on the life-changing power of gratitude and guarding our hearts against negativity. It shows how choosing thankfulness shifts our perspective, opens the door to God’s presence, and creates space for His blessings to flow. Even in times of trial, gratitude strengthens us, renews our joy, and helps us hold onto peace that cannot be shaken. The reminder is clear: when we live with a grateful spirit, we align ourselves with God’s goodness and walk in greater freedom.
You know everybody. This morning I told you I'd give you a free book and we have some if you didn't get your book called the Glory. The Glory is really the manifested presence of God. Really, when Moses asked God, show me your glory, god didn't get mad about that. In other words, moses said I want to do what you call me to do, but I need to see your glory. Amen.
Speaker 1:Every writer in the Bible had an experience with the glory of God. So the word glory simply means the manifested presence of God. In other words, god is God. I'm not present, but when you say glory, that means he's manifested presence. You know the difference. In other words, even though God, I'm not present, when you say glory, that means that he broke from the invisible into the visible, from the unseen to the seen, from the spirit into this realm, here, here. So that's when you say glory, amen. I like to tell people, anytime god's doing more than one thing at a time, and you don't know what word to say you say glory. You see, that means that god can walk and chew gum at the same time. So that means he may do this and chew gum at the same time. So that means he may be doing this, he may be doing this, he may be doing that.
Speaker 1:This book is just called the Glory Study. The Bible says the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory Paul said in 2 Corinthians. And we know Paul had an experience with the glory on the road to Damascus. With the glory on the road to Damascus, because the Old Testament word for the glory of God is the word kabod or kabod, which means heavy. Everybody say heavy. Isn't that a funny word to talk about the glory of God? It means heavy. Heavy simply means loaded with all of his goodness. So in the Old Testament, while they're praising god, the glory would fill the house and the priest could not stand up to minister. Y'all still with me here. So the old testament glory pa Paul said in the New Testament we have a better covenant and we have a greater glory. So the Old Testament word for glory means loaded heavy.
Speaker 1:So sometimes, when you're the Holy Spirit's working on you and the anointing, sometimes you feel heavy. So that's why some people are slain in the spirit as they fall out heavy. That's why you have to get a new body before you go to heaven or you would just be laying around for the next 10,000 years. You'd be in heaven like a boneless chicken farm Sorry, that's a Far side comic, you know, said about a picture of a boneless chicken farm and all the chickens were just laying around like that and anyway. So when you get into heaven, if you didn't get a new body, what would happen? You just be laying around his glory. Moses saw a glimpse. God said I'm gonna cover in my hand a movement you'll just saw a glimpse. God said I'm going to cover you with my hand and move my hand and you'll just see a glimpse of the backside. And when he saw the glory, his countenance, his face shone like a light. Y'all still here.
Speaker 1:So in the New Testament, 2 Corinthians 3 says but we all behold, as in a mirror, the glory of God. That means all of us. Let's try that one more time All of us. That means nobody has any exclusive rights, whether you're the pastor or you're a preacher. All of us, because of the blood of Jesus, all of us behold, as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord and we are changed. The word change there is the same word that's used in Romans 12, 2, where it says that we are transformed. So in this case, romans 12, 2,. We are transformed, changed by the renewing of our mind.
Speaker 1:2 Corinthians 3,. We are transformed, changed by getting in his presence, beholding his glory. And he says and this happens by the Holy Spirit that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom or emancipation from bondage. So anywhere the Holy Spirit's working, you can't stay bound. So wherever the Holy Spirit's working, you yield to him and feel with him and we are free. We are free. That's why you see people, when they are free, enjoying, jumping, full of joy, laughing. He says, and the Holy Spirit and the glory he's even called the spirit of glory y'all still in here.
Speaker 1:So the Old Testament word for glory is what Heavy Kabod. So that's why I said that the church or something there, the Old Testament temple, you write Ichabod over the door. Ichabod means no glory, and so the reason David ushered the Ark of the Covenant back into Jerusalem was because that Ark was just a piece of furniture, but it actually represented the manifested presence of God. And wherever the Ark was, they did not lose battles, they won. Wherever the Ark was, you know, a guy tried to steady it. You know, because they were doing something wrong, the way they're bringing it and he dropped dead because of the glory. And if you watch Raiders of the Lost Ark, you know that Y'all didn't watch Raiders of the Lost Ark you know what Boom they pull the top off of there and all the Nazis burn up, anyway. So that's, maybe go back and watch it, because it's pretty cool actually. But anyway, so that Ark, you know they took the top off like that and so they tried to steady it. They're bringing in the cart and he dropped dead because he wasn't bringing it in according to the way God wanted the ark to be moved.
Speaker 1:So David got mad at God. Let's try it one more time. Have you been trying to follow the Lord and get mad at him? Let's try it one more time. Have you been trying to follow the Lord and get mad at him? Let's try it one more time. Have you ever been trying to follow the Lord for years and something go wrong? You don't understand and you just get mad. Anybody here ever been mad at God? Oh, I got two honest people and the rest of y'all, the rest of y'all liars. I mean, you didn't understand. Why understand? Why you know? And so you're frustrated with God.
Speaker 1:So David was. So he said I don't even want the ark. So he sent it over to a guy's house named Obed Edom. You said what happened, odom's house? Well, while that ark was there, his farm, his business, his house, everything was so blessed. In other words, anywhere that glory is, the manifested presence of God, there'll be supernatural increase, blessed Everybody. Say glory.
Speaker 1:So the Old Testament word is what, when they said Ichabod, no glory. What David say bring the glory back. So he brought it back. With what real loud praise, with the priest carrying it the way it's supposed to. And then he stopped every 20 feet and offered a blood sacrifice, in other words the. The blood of jesus is what qualifies you for the manifested presence of god.
Speaker 1:So when david offered that blood every 20 feet, and then the manifested presence of god, the, the glory of God, david knew about the glory and he danced with all of his might. He danced with all of his might. I don't think you could, I don't think. I don't think he danced like a sissy. I don't think he had le think he danced like a sissy. I Don't think he had leotards on. You know, I mean and, and and. Really, if he even says he looks like a fool, his wife said you look like a fool. So it wasn't a pretty thing and More people would have more glory if they didn't have to be pretty all the time. Thank you for your enthusiasm. In other words, in other words, sometimes you're so self-conscious of what other people think about you, you lose the glory, you get the glory, you get God conscious, and you don't care what nobody thinks about you. And so David danced before the Lord with what all of his might. So that wasn't just a little two-step going on. And so he's, david's a pretty um man's man kill a lion with his hands.
Speaker 1:I mean, it's awesome, kill a lion, even if you have a gun. But he just with his hands, killed a bear with his hands. Most people run from a chihuahua, so I don't want to use street talk, but he's a bad. You know what I'm talking about. And when he came to fighting, he killed 10,000 Philistines, 10,000. Wow. And when they came to fight, and he killed ten thousand philistine, ten thousand, what? But when he got in the presence of god, he dance with all of this. In other words, a manifest at of God, you know, but by manifest presence means it, it actually gets in the scene of the sense realm. So it literally got in his bone. Yeah, in other words, the anointing is tangible. I feel it right now. This is what I'm talking about. You just start talking about it and Jesus show up, that anointing tangible, and you recognize it and receive it and it feel like fire or electricity.
Speaker 1:So when David dances, wife said you look like a fool. And David said I shall be yet more violent. Is let's try it one more time? His wife, who was what Saul's daughter, said what you look like a fool. The Bible says that she was barren from that day. David said you got to love a man that can talk back to his wife at least every once in a while, or vice versa, I guess.
Speaker 1:Anyway, david said what I shall be yet more vile than this, right? In other words, he said if this bothers you, it's just gonna get worse. And then what did David say? It was not your daddy that made me king. Are y'all still here? Come on, who's your daddy now? Come on, it's not your daddy that made me king. It was the Lord that made me king. It was the Lord that brought me out of the sheepfold and I'm fixing to dance with. Who brung me? He brung me out and I'm gonna dance before the Lord. Come on, come on. It is not your education that brought you into the goodness of God and the blessing, it was not how good looking you are, come on now, how cute your personality is, it's just the glory of God and the goodness of God.
Speaker 1:And David just danced with all of his might. So my spiritual father, kenneth Hagin, dad Hagin. And so I followed him real close for, you know, since I was 17. And now he's going to be with the Lord. I always say Dad Hagen went to be with the Lord, but the anointing is still here, holy Ghost is still here. And Dad Hagen, when the Holy Ghost break out, he starts to laugh Because in the manifested presence of God there's joy in his presence.
Speaker 1:You can't sit there and look like you've been. Come on, you wake up grouchy this morning, say no, I just let her sleep, no, so so you say you can't just be sitting there like a grouchy thing. When you get in the presence of god, your countenance, come on, if you're going to be ground. She all the time worried, all the time. Do you want your face to get sucked out? Looks like a little hand over some, you get the block for the and it actually makes you better looking. It's better than any cream that you can put on your face.
Speaker 1:Is you get in the glory of God? All right, sorry, I don't say everything. I'm thinking Anyway. So when you get in the glory, everybody say glory, glory. Everybody say glory, glory. In other words, god wants you to know about the glory, yes, yes, yes. And when you know about the glory, there's nothing in this world that can compare to the glory of God, amen.
Speaker 1:So you could pray and say Lord, show me your glory. If you want to put that in a New Testament, ephesians chapter 3 is the glory prayer in the New Testament, ephesians 3, 14 through 20. And you can pray that every day. Father God, I'm asking you Y'all ready that you would grant me to be strengthened with mighty power by your spirit in my inner man. You would grant me according to the riches of your glory.
Speaker 1:So when Moses has to take a million Jews, come on out of out of Egypt. He said God, I didn't ask for this job. Now, if you're a pastor or a preacher or whatever calling you have in life, you call before you're born. So the Lord told me to do something. I said I didn't ask for that. In other words, before I was born, he said this is what your destiny is. That's why you have to be nicer to preachers. That's why you have to be nicer to preachers. You have to give them more mercy because they didn't choose the job. Come on. And if he would ask, we'd have said no. In other words, you can't pay me enough to put up with you. They all still here. I'm not talking about you, of course somebody else, but you know I'm talking about, no matter what, where you're at in.
Speaker 1:In leading people, people can be stubborn, not here, of course. Other churches mean unfaithful. Come on, and then if you talk about something a little too long, they'll say he talked about that too long. You say shut up, just kidding. No, you don't do that, I never do that. Anyway. So your call, and that calling is to carry that glory. Yeah, so you have to know about it, carry it. And then, when it comes to ministering the glory, then the glory can fill the house and you just touch somebody in the head and that glory go right into them. I feel that right now I'm going to touch this guy on the head. I'm going to touch him on the head. I feel it in my hand right now. Can I touch this guy on the head? Can I touch him on the head? I feel it in my hand right now, and it can be transferred, and wherever that glory is, dad Hagen would always just say something like be blessed, come on, and I'd go home and everything would increase. Was I blessed? Are y'all still with me here Now? So on the glory, amen.
Speaker 1:How many of y'all know the Roman road? If you want to get somebody saved, you can put them on the Roman scriptures, the Roman road. It says what's Romans 3.23 say For all have sinned and come short of the glory. Other translations say all have sinned and lost the divine glory they were meant to have. In other words, god created you, crowned you with glory and honor. Sin came in and stripped you of that glory, and so you want to try to live a normal, ordinary life. But there's something in your spirit that knows you were created for more than that. All right, let's try this out. I said something on the inside of you Come on, I was created for more than this. I was created, come on, to hang around with God and to experience and carry his glory, amen.
Speaker 1:So look at Psalm 29 real quickly. In Psalm 29, it says the voice of the Lord done enlightening and all that stuff happened. The voice of the Lord. Y'all know Psalm 29? It's a really cool psalm. And then at the end it says and in his temple, everyone speaks of his glory. Let's try that one more time, in other words, in the house of God. Come on, this church is not like a club or a regular organization where we all get together and try to do a few good things. The church is to be a glorious assembly of people carrying the glory, changed by the glory, and there's more glory on the way in the next six months. Come on, if you'll be filled with the Holy Ghost, there's more glory. Amen. Praise the Lord. Y'all still with me here, because this is just like a little hors d'oeuvre here. Amen. So, so, so.
Speaker 1:Years ago, while I was studying on this, I found an old commentary that said this word glory, Old Testament, heavy kabod or kabod how do you want to say it? I am not Hebrew, Hebrew or homebrew, anyway, so I don't try to get it right. In Texas it's kabob already. So I looked at it word up and it said there is not one English word that can describe the word glory. There's no English word for that. So they said if you wanted to give it some English words, the first word you would give it is are you ready for this wealth? In other words, when you say you're saying I'll never be broke the rest of my life, because when you say glory, you're saying God never shows up anywhere broke. In other words, when the riches of his glory show up, you're no longer conscious of your need, you are conscious of his abundance and you're like glory, come on.
Speaker 1:So when Moses got a glimpse of the glory, he said I believe we'll be all right, you understand. In other words, god's asking him to do something that he don't want to do. So he said if you want me to do it, I must experience be changed by know about your glory. And the truth is everybody in this room if you want to obey God, thank you. I said if you want to obey God, follow the plan of God, come and do the will of God. You gonna have to have an experience with a glory. Come on, where you are no longer self-conscious. You become God conscious. Come on in your life.
Speaker 1:So in his temple everyone speaks of his glory. That means this. That means in the glory, the house of God or the gathering of believers. You're not just you don't just keep talking about your problem. You know what I mean, and some people got so many problems. You know, we got so many issues. We need the answer for this, we need this, we need that. But when you get in his temple, you say let's talk about the glory Boy. I feel like slapping somebody, I said in his temple. You said let's talk about the blue. Well, I feel like slapping somebody, I said in his temple. You said let's talk about the glory. Come on, let's quit talking about this happened and that happened and why they come on, what the problem I got. Let's talk about the manifested presence of the Almighty God. Come on that. You were created to have that kind of glory. Come on, the devil knocked it out of you, but the blood of Jesus brought it back to you. And that glory come on down in the house. Whoa, even greater glory. Praise the Lord. Y'all want me to finish this First word for glory is the word wealth.
Speaker 1:Do you know how much wealth is in the earth? There is enough resources of wealth in the earth for every person living to be a billionaire. I'm talking about gold, oil. Come on, diamonds, I mean. When God created Adam he said follow that river and the gold goals at the end of it why he thought adam might want a gold tooth or something. He might want a gold chain. God's not opposed to you having gold, and if you don't want to just give it somebody else, all right. So the word glory means what? Give it to somebody else, all right. So the word glory means what? Well, that's why the phrase riches of glory is in the New Testament five times. That means anywhere the glory is is riches. That's a good point. Everybody go wow, say that backwards, wow.
Speaker 1:So I started studying because of Dad Hagan, because when they would say the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever, that's all they said. The Lord is good and his mercy endures forever, that's all they said. The Lord is good and his mercy endures forever. And the glory filled the house. And dad Hagen would say the glory's here, whatever you need, reach up and just receive it. Whatever that means there's healing in the glory. Come on, whatever you need, reach up, come on going over here right now. You say why? Because God, like people talk about. He wants you to know about. Amen in the glory.
Speaker 1:So the word well, first time the word glory is used in the Bible is the word kabod. First time that words used in the Bible referred to the wealth of Jacob. According to his Bible interpretation, the law of first reference means first time that word is used in the Bible. It must be included in every time that word is used. So you cannot say glory without saying my God supplies all of my needs according to his riches and glory. Let's try it, I said. You can't get in his manifested presence without being conscious of his abundance. Come on, not just enough for your sardines and crackers, but for you to have 12 basketfuls left over out of five loaves and two fish. Whoa glory.
Speaker 1:So I did a study on the glory. Hallelujah, the riches of his glory, amen. So the first word is wealth. Everybody say wealth. We're fixing to receive the offering anyway. So you might as well get this part of it right. You can't beat God giving. Come on, your giving affects your receiving. Should I say that one more time? There's no limit to God's giving except his creature's capacity to receive. Your giving affects how you receive. Go ahead and laugh about that, all right. So the word glory means what? Wealth First word. Are you ready for the rest of them? I won't take as much time here because this is a little too much for you.
Speaker 1:Because, like in the book on the glory, I was preaching down in Bogota, columbia. Then I went and preached in Cartagena, columbia, and there the church has probably 20,000 believers in the church and so glory, I mean, these people are like on fire. They scare me and I'm fearless. You know what I mean by that. They are so on fire for God and for the word and wow, they're praising and receiving. Anyway.
Speaker 1:So the pastor got this really great church and so he was going to redecorate the platform. Redecorate, you know, change the platform, because so many people come in and people came, so he's going to make it really first class. So he was making it first class, so he hired a company that specialized in that First class. So he hired a company that specialized in that and the name of the company they called it the Wow Factor. Everybody say wow, they call it the Wow Factor. You know why? They said because we will design your platform for you. And we're not talking about costing $10,000, $20,000. We're talking about, he said we're going to design the church platform where it's going to be first class.
Speaker 1:He said when I design it and I show it to you, whatever you say determines if that's going to be the plan or not. So they designed it and showed it to him. The pastor said, well, that's really good. He goes that's not it. So they said, well, let me work on it some more. They work on it and then they show it to him again. He'd go that's very nice. And they said, well, that's not it. So then they work on it some more and then they show it to him. He went wow. They said that's it.
Speaker 1:He said we never do the plan until you say wow, come do the plan. Until you say wow, come on, god don't want you looking at the plan he has for your life and say that's nice, come on, god wants to show you the plan he has for your life and you say that's out of this world, man, that's out in this world. So he called that the wow factor. Go ahead and laugh for a minute, because I'm going a little bit wild. Everybody say the wow factor. In other words, you see the goodness of God. Wow, and you know what you're doing Wow and you don't want you to just wow once. He wants you wowing often. You know what I mean. He wants you saying that was more than I could ask. Or think at the Ephesians 3. Wow, think that's Ephesians 3. Wow, praise the Lord.
Speaker 1:So guess what it says in the Psalms when I die, come on, you know when the Psalms? Did y'all ever sing that song? I'll Fly Away. Does anybody know the song I'll Fly Away. All right, let's sing it. Y'all ready, I'll fly away. Oh, y'all know the song. I'll fly away. All right, let's sing it. Y'all ready, I'll fly away. Oh yeah, I know the song. I'm just saying fly away. Isn't that a funny song? Well, I didn't even know. But I'm reading the psalms and it said you know, I'll live a certain number of years and then I'll fly away. And you know what else it says and you will receive me to glory. You know what heaven is. Gloryland, disneyland ain't even close. You know what heaven is.
Speaker 1:When you leave this world and go to the third heaven and go through the gates and go and see the city of heaven, what do you think you're gonna be doing? Walking around heaven. You think you're gonna be walking around heaven going, I'm tired. No, when you get into that city, come on now, where the Lamb of God is the light of that city. You get in that city. What do you think you're gonna do? You're gonna look at the walls. Come on the street. You're gonna do. You're gonna look at the walls, come on the street. You're gonna say, wow, you don't want to miss heaven for nothing. Man, I'm done. Whatever it's like down here, you sure don't want to miss heaven. My name written down in hip, woo, wow.
Speaker 1:And so sometimes you know we do a funeral for our loved one. You know a dad, a mom. You know they went to heaven. You know and you're so sad. But if you could see what they're seeing, you might miss them, but you will not feel sorry, for let's try that again, as if you could see what they're seeing for man when they go in that city. So Dad Hagen said never feel sorry for anybody that dies and goes to heaven. He said they would not come back. If they could, they would not come back. You say why they just went to glory land. Everybody say glory land, come on. So NFL, you know, whoever wins the Super Bowl, they get to go where.
Speaker 1:Disneyland? That's what they always say I'm going to Disneyland to see Mickey Mouse, which is a big lie. Come on, that mouse can't talk. That's a big lie. Come on a Mickey Mouse. But it's pretty fascinating. Disneyland, I mean parade's pretty cool. I just took all my kids and grandkids. It ain't cheap. I can tell you that you better pray so you see that parade at Disney. Disneyland, california's where we went, cuz it's cooler. So, man, that parade, and then the fireworks and the lights at night, and you're just like almost a wow. You're like you know that all didn't happen by accident. Man, there's some major creative planning going into that.
Speaker 1:What do you think heaven's like? I said what do you think heaven's like? Come on now. What do you think heaven's like? I said what do you think heaven's like? Come on now. What do you think heaven's like? Do you know you're going to go to heaven? Come on now. Do you know you have eternal life? Do you know? You say where is that? That's glory land. Everybody say glory. Oh, I better finish reading this. Y'all ready for this? Y'all was the rest of it.
Speaker 1:Everybody say well, my father is rich. We used to sing that song. My father is rich in houses and lands. He holds all the wealth of this world in his hands of rubies and diamonds, silver and gold. I'm an heir to his wealth. I have riches untold. I'm a child of the king.
Speaker 1:Anybody here know you're a child of the king. You're an heir of God. Join the heir with Christ. Y'all wanna're a child of the king. You're an heir of God. Join the heir with Christ.
Speaker 1:Y'all want to hear the rest of them already? Well, numbers, numbers. Why do I say numbers? Because you cannot even imagine the number of angels and innumerable, even though you can count two billions. There's so many angels. There is no number that you can tell how many angels there are. And anywhere Jesus is being magnified and the glory is, then the place will fill up an angel. All right, we better keep going here.
Speaker 1:Numbers everybody say numbers. Come over here, because I don't want any of y'all dozing over here. Everybody say numbers. You know what the next word is Commerce. You say what do you mean? Commerce, chamber of commerce. You know what that means. Come on, when Jacob saw the ladder going up into heaven and angels were coming, come on up and down. What are they doing? They just traveling. They're bringing stuff, man, ha ha ha. That's why, when it comes to finances, I don't want't talk about this, you don't talk about it a minute. When it comes to finances, just like to pick on him. So he comes to finances, what do you say? You better, I'm a tither, I'm a giver, but I say this I claim first it was like five thousand dollars a week, not first actually first, or four hundred dollars a week when we were traveling, but as a pastor, five thousand week.
Speaker 1:Then we went. I claimed ten thousand week. Then we went to twenty thousand week, thirty thousand went. I claim 10,000 week. Then we went to 20,000 week, 30,000 week, 40,000 week, 50,000 week, $70,000 a week, 80,000 week, night, hunt out a week. We still say I claim, come on. And then we come up to the level we're at and then we move it a little further. I Claim are you ready for this, for you, whatever it is? I claim, let's just say it this way okay, I claim a thousand dollars a week.
Speaker 1:Satan, I command you, take your hands off my money, go angels ministering spirits and cause the money to come, for the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. I'm an heir of God, I'm a joint heir with Christ, and the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. I do not lack for ability, I do not lack for opportunity and I never lack for money. I said I never lack for money. The money will come. I am a tither. I sow generously, generously, I reap generously, and God is able to make all grace abound towards me. So I have all sufficiency in the money will come.
Speaker 1:Now, if you're silent, you're going to have a problem with this, because angels will respond to what you say. Dad Hagen said if you talk black, it'll keep money from coming to you. That's why you want to talk about his glory instead of talking about all your problems. Oh, y'all, i'm'all many fish. I'm not finished. Well, everybody said the money will come.
Speaker 1:Well, I was in the glory and everybody has access. You just got to hang around enough, get in through the blood, yield to the Holy Ghost and you get into the realm of glory. Then you change. A lot of things change. But while I was in the glory 40 years ago, in a meeting like this, and then the Holy Ghost broke out and I just sat down on the front and just my head down in the glory 40 years ago, in a meeting like this, and then the Holy Ghost broke out and I just sat down on the front and just my head down in the glory. And while I was there, three angels walked right up to me. While I was there, I was lost in the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, the Holy Ghost. Three angels walked up to me and one of them had an envelope that was a manuscript, pulled it out and he said you are to write books.
Speaker 1:At that point I'd never written one book and I didn't want to write no books. It's a lot of work. He said you're to write books. So I rebelled against that for years because I thought I'm tired, I don't want to write books. So I kept rebelling against that for years because I thought I'm tired, I don't want to write no book.
Speaker 1:Next thing, the next thing, you had like a calendar. He said you have some divine appointments and I'll get you in the right place at the right time with the right people. Don't worry about it. How many of you know that's better than being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people? How many of you believe God can get you in the right place at the right time with the right people? You will have to cooperate, but he can do it. So one of them had a calendar Appointments, you know know. The other one had what manuscript you better write a book. And the third one had an envelope and he opened it and it's full of money and he said you'll never lack for money.
Speaker 1:You know what I said glory. If I said glory, everybody say glory. Oh, let me finish reading. Everybody say commerce. The next word y'all ready? These are all the words for glory. Next word is power. Next word is wisdom. In the glory is where you get the answers to your question.
Speaker 1:Next word is promotion. Come on, bob says promotion doesn't come from me and it comes from God. Come on, it says if you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, he will promote you. And when he promotes you, there ain't nobody can stop your promotion. Come on, there may be something about you that ticks him off, but that can't stop your promotion, because God will open a door that no man can shut. Come on now, a great and an effectual door, and you'll just be like David and Dan said. The Lord did that. I don't know how to do that. Everybody say glory. The next word promotion. Next word is superiority. The next word is dignity. The next word is authority. The next word is nobility. Come on, you ought to think I like royalty.
Speaker 1:Next word is splendor. Whoo, it's a good word, splendor. What does that mean? When Jesus was transfigured on the Mount of Transfiguration in front of Peter James and John, the glory, come on, what was in him, busted out of him and they beheld his glory. And it says his clothes was like lightning. They never forgot that. Peter James, arjun, they said we beheld his glory.
Speaker 1:Y'all still with me? Yeah, splendor, that means still with me. Splendor, that means I know some of y'all have been pretty beat up in life. Either that or you're just depressed tonight, but some of you have been really beat up. I mean, life can beat you up, come on. But you were designed for more than you got right now. Come on, god don't want you living an ordinary. Come on now life. He wants you to extraordinarily blessed and use you as advertisement of how well he treats his kids.
Speaker 1:And when you see it happen and you say glory, I can't tell you it's just the funniest thing. I mean, when I got my first jet, I was actually a second jet, bigger jet. When I first got it and I knew I had it. I was in a car and I went you're gonna do it, ain't ya? I'm talking to the Lord, you're gonna do it, cuz I knew you could. But I was like I don't know. But you did it. It's like a dream coming about. Go ahead and laugh, ha ha ha. Now you say why you won't make me laugh. Well, obviously I'm not making you laugh and I ain't gonna come tickle you. But Peter said it is joy. Let's try this out over here. He said it's joy unspeakable and full of glory. In other words, the glory always has joy. Unspeakable means more than you can put into words. So if you can say you're happy, that ain't it. It has to come out in a dance, a laugh, a shout Glory, all right, y'all want me to finish? Huh, oh, I'll save some for next time. You want me to finish?
Speaker 1:Everybody say glory, glory, valor, uncommon valor. You know what uncommon valor is. That means when you go to war, you ain't scared of nothing. You know what that means. Uncommon valor? That means you display such courage on the battlefield in the face of every threat. But you know about the glory. You say if god is for me, who could be against me? Y'all still with me. I said if god is for me, who could be against me? Everybody say valor, come on, god, I don't want you to be no wimp. If God is for me, who could be against me? Everybody say valor, valor, come on, god, I don't want you to be no wimp. Next word you ready for the next one? Next word is magnificence, magnificence. Next word is extraordinary privileges.
Speaker 1:Everybody say glory, glory, and the next word is and advantages. You have tremendous advantage in life because you know about the glory. The glory is just simply all the goodness of God, whoo. That's why there's healing in the glory, provision in the glory, deliverance in the glory, victories in the glory. Come on.
Speaker 1:So your prayers, father, god, I'm asking you that you would grant me, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthened with mighty power by your spirit in my inner man. That Christ would dwell in my heart, by faith. That I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the length and the depth, and the breadth and the height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God. Everybody say glory Now, unto him who is able to do, exceeding abundantly. Above all, that I ask, I think, according to his power, go ahead and just laugh a few minutes. A come on, say glory, amen.
Speaker 1:So you'd be asking the Lord every day, wouldn't you? Show me your glory? You'll get a glimpse, but there's more. In other words, you go from glory to a greater glory. How many know it's about time for you to go to a greater glory? How many like to go to a greater glory, which would be the manifestation of all those words I just said. Go ahead and laugh a few minutes, because I preach myself happy already. I said I preach myself, happy already. Oh, come on now. Come on, lift your hands up because the blood of Jesus, come on in the indwelling Holy Spirit, come on. The glory of God and a greater glory come on. Reveal to you and in you and through you to carry that glory. So when we come to church, come on, heavy glory is in the house. Woo Ha ha, ha, ha ha. Everybody say glory.
