Glorious Way Church
The Diligent Seeker | Pastor John Greiner
“The Diligent Seeker” encourages believers to relentlessly pursue God through consistent prayer, immersion in the Word, and a Spirit-filled life. Drawing from the examples of King Jehoshaphat and King Uzziah, the message highlights how seeking God leads to stability, prosperity, and divine reward. The sermon challenges believers to not be casual but committed in their pursuit—scrutinizing Scripture, praying earnestly, and remaining sensitive to God’s voice. Emphasizing that God rewards those who seek Him diligently, it calls the church to seize spiritual moments, stay God-conscious, and rule in their domain with authority and purpose.
Wave those Bibles around. Make Jesus glad, the devil mad. Say this together. Say, heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here on Sunday night. Thank God for the Word and thank God for the Holy Ghost. It's the Word and the Spirit that are guaranteeing my victory. I have victory over every circumstance. I have victory over every situation. When I go to sleep tonight, my sleep shall be sweet. I have no worries. I have no fear, because Jesus has set me free. In Jesus name, amen.
Speaker 1:Let's look at the Old Testament tonight. 2 Chronicles We'll start there. I mean chapter 17, first 2 Chronicles 17 and then also 2 Chronicles 26 and Hebrews 11. We'll start with 17, verse 1, talking about jumping Jehoshaphat. I used to read the funny papers every week. We used to have colored funny paper, you know, in color. I read the funny papers every Sunday Snuffy Smith and he always talked about jumping Jehoshaphat. And now I'm reading about the real guy. All right, just Jehoshaphat now.
Speaker 1:And Jehoshaphat, his son, the son of the King Asa uh, reigned in his stead and strengthened himself against Israel. This is back when, you know, judah and Israel were at odds the two kingdoms, the northern kingdom, israel, and Jehoshaphat, king of the southern kingdom of Judah, verse 2,. And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah and set garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim which Asa, his father, had taken. And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat. Because everybody shout? Because because he walked in the first ways of his father, david, and sought not unto Balaam but sought to the Lord, god of his father, and walked in his commandments and not after the doings of Israel. Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presence and he had riches and honor in abundance. All because, why? Because he sought the Lord, because he did things God's way.
Speaker 1:All right, and let's go back over here to a few pages, to chapter 26, and read about another king, verse three, chapter 26,. 16 years old was Uzziah when he began to reign and he reigned 52 years. Man, that's a lot of years, he's 16. And he reigned until he was 68. That's quite a while. He reigned 52 years in Jerusalem and his mother's name was Jechaliah, jechaliah of Jerusalem. And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all his father Amaziah did. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God. And as long as he sought the Lord, god made him to prosper. As long as he sought the Lord, god made him to prosper. 52 years, all right. And then, of course, hebrews 11, six says he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. He's a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
Speaker 1:So tonight I just wanted to share a message entitled the Diligent Seeker. God rewards those who diligently seek him. You know, a couple of weeks ago I was talking about this subject and talking about God's way of blessing us. We've got three main avenues of blessing, you know, of course, one is inheritance, one is sowing and reaping, and one of them is reward. I gave my testimony about my house, that I'm still living in Gladys and I still live in our house. It was not a subject of faith, it was not a subject of sowing seed, it was a reward, and God rewards those who diligently seek him.
Speaker 1:Be a diligent seeker. That word diligent means to scrutinize, to investigate, to crave, to require, and really another synonym would be being relentless. Relentless in seeking God. Relentless I mean you're in his, you're always going after God, stay before him consistently in the word. Stay before him consistently in the word. Stay before him consistently in prayer. You have to have a word life and a prayer life.
Speaker 1:I know I sound like a broken record, but all failure is prayer failure, all you know. We just don't seek the Lord, we don't, we don't get in his presence. We just we make decisions based on our five senses. It's really easy to get distracted. So really, especially right now, because the devil is running amok. The devil knows his time is short. He's got a pretty narrow group of people to attack. He doesn't have to mess with Kamala. He doesn't have to mess with Biden. He doesn't have to mess with Biden. Biden wouldn't even know if he was getting messed with. He doesn't have to mess with any of these people because they're all in his camp. Who's he firing all of his biggest darts against?
Speaker 1:Really full gospel people, people that have a knowledge of the word of God. And more than just going to heaven, I mean the full gospel people, people that have a knowledge of the word of God. And more than just the going to heaven, I mean the full gospel, means everything Jesus bought and paid for on the cross, which is more than just us going to heaven, it's our healing, it's our deliverance, it's our prosperity, all of those things. And so he's got it in for us and he's going to try to talk you out of as much of it as he can. I like to say this remember, walk through the world being God inside minded. Just always be conscious of his indwelling presence. He's in there not to hitchhike, he's in there to make you look smart. He's a genius. If you'll lean on him, he knows the answer. You know, I like Psalm 22, 29.
Speaker 1:You know, see a man that's diligent in his business. He will stand before kings. He will not stand before mean men. My margin when I read that he will not stand before mean men. My margin when I read that he will not stand before obscure men. In other words, he won't have to deal with underlings. He won't have to deal with flunkies who have no power to make a decision.
Speaker 1:Have you ever, have you ever had a situation where you're you know you've got a problem with a business or problem with something and and you're trying to get a refund, or you're trying to get satisfaction, and all you can talk to are a bunch of goofballs that have been that have this little statement that they've got in front of their telephone that they're told to read to you. I mean, they're not people of any kind of authority, they have no authority to solve your problem. And so then you've got to go. I mean, I tell you, one time we had Jay and I I mean, you know, I bought a new car and Chase Bank Chase is one of the biggest banks in the world and they got Jay Griner, who his name is John Robert Griner. His name is not John Walter Griner III or II or the Jr, his name is John. He's got a totally different name and he's got a totally different address.
Speaker 1:And they got us confused. They didn't get me, they didn't think he was me, they thought I was him. I guess there were two of them, I thought there were two of them, I thought there were two of us, and I mean we went round and round and round and round, I mean you know, and he finally had to close his Chase bank checking credit card. I mean he used to chase credit card all the time. He had to close the account. There was no way out, there was no way they could fix it. You know why? Because we couldn't get before the people that could make a decision? Just a bunch of flunkies over in the Philippines or India or wherever they were. You couldn't even understand them. Finally, finally, I went to a, finally got somebody to say, look, go to your closest branch and put all this, and that girl I mean she was from Indonesia, I think, but I'll tell you what she fixed it. She finally got us and she told us what we had to do. It still took another six weeks after she told us what to do. Everybody say I'm not standing before flunkies.
Speaker 1:So in 1 Corinthians, 10, 11, paul says you know, talking about the Old Testament, all these things are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the age have come. So the Old Testament is more than just you know. Oh, we need to you know, read these Bible stories. They're written for our instruction, our warning. Everything he did in the Old Testament is a type and shadow of what we have in the New. We have to realize we have a different covenant. We have a better covenant. They were justified by the blood of bulls and goats. We're justified by the blood of Jesus. There's a lot of differences but yet, at the same time, it's in there for our instruction, the mistakes they made. It's in there, not till he could denigrate the kings and denigrate the people.
Speaker 1:In the Old Testament he's using them as an example to help us. We're his sons and daughters. They were his servants. Everybody say I'm a son, I'm a daughter. See, I mean he prefers us, he loves Israel. But hey, they never were his children. We're his children, we're begotten and we're bone of his bone, flesh of his flesh. So, um, jehoshaphat is an example. He sought the Lord and he was obedient and God established his reign for 25 years. God established you know we were talking about stability tonight. I mean, you know God knows how to stabilize and establish you.
Speaker 1:If you'll seek him, if we'll do things his way, and I don't mean just kind of a little bit, kind of every now and then, but I mean consistently and continually. I mean when you're scrutinized, investigated. I mean these are words that are in the Greek, there or in the. They're in Hebrews diligently in the uh, there in Hebrews, diligently in the Greek it's, it's implying all these, these other words that we don't use a lot. But to scrutinize. You know what are we scrutinizing? Well, we're scrutinizing. This word, I mean we're, you know it. It helps sometimes when you're seeking the Lord to study the Bible. I mean, a lot of times we don't have time to study. We ought to study it.
Speaker 1:These messages bear listening more than one time, just when you're in church. They bear you coming back around later, hopefully while it's still fresh, and listen to it on the podcast. Listen to it, you know. I think we finally got caught up on the podcast. We've got a lot of things that Lee is required to do and he's been under the gun just trying to keep up with my God votes and all the other things. I mean, every time the Republicans have a meeting he's here and I mean he's just running as hard as he can to keep up. But it's good to listen to these messages again and you hear more that you didn't hear.
Speaker 1:The first time I listened to my message when I got home today, I listened to myself preach every time. Why would you do that? Well, I'd check up on myself. I get a lot out of it. It's like somebody else is preaching. I said it's like somebody else is preaching. I said, wow, that was really good. I'm not bragging, I'm just. It's the anointing. Why shouldn't I benefit? I love preaching in the now, but then I like listening to it later because I get something out of it. Man, I never saw it. Man, did I say that? Wow, that's amazing. Are y'all with me now?
Speaker 1:So he had riches and honor in abundance. God's not against you having abundance. In fact, jesus said he'd made you know he was made poor, that you might be rich. Rich means having abundant supplies. What it means he wants you to have abundance. Everybody say God wants me to have abundance, god wants me to have abundance.
Speaker 1:And over here in chapter 26, when we were talking about Uz uzziah, he just 16. You know he didn't turn out too good. Later on he made some mistakes, so did jehoshaphat too bad, they didn't. You know, it's not really how you start out, it's how it's whether you finish. Let me say I got diseased in his feet and I don't. Man, that had to be bad, but anyway.
Speaker 1:So Uzziah was just 16, 52 years as long as he sought the Lord. The Lord caused him to prosper. And that Hebrew word prosper there means to. Of course it means to have abundance, but it means to push forward, it means to break out, it means to come mightily. Boy, that speaks to me, that speaks to movement, that speaks to somebody that's breaking through on a constant basis. I mean, every day is victory day for Uzziah, because he sought the Lord, he diligently sought him, and he's king. That's the thing about being a king. He didn't have to. He had everybody working for him. He could have just been like most of the kings, especially the kings of Israel.
Speaker 1:Have you ever gone through and you're reading about all these kings and you know, and you know, and you and you find out. You know that they didn't. You know he did evil, he did evil, he did evil. He did evil over and over, generation after generation. He did evil, he did evil. And when are they going to catch on, you dummy? They've got prophets that are trying to tell them and they just keep on. Why? Because, see, that's why God never wanted them to have a king Because a king has got too much power.
Speaker 1:If Donald Trump was a king, he wouldn't have near as much trouble. I mean, it's just laughable. They say he wants to be a king. Well, he's nowhere near a king. He can't get anything done. He can't get his own people through and get them approved. If he was a king, he'd already have his administration taken care of. They're the ones that want to be king. Oh well, I got off off base on that, all right. So he reigned 52 years. He pushed forward, he broke out, he came mightily. So he reigned 52 years, he pushed forward, he broke out, he came mightily.
Speaker 1:You know, in Revelation 1, 6, the apostle John on the Isle of Patmos, he wrote the letter. God told him write this letter to the churches of Asia. And so it's good to just go over there. Let's look at it. Revelation chapter one, verse four John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace be unto you and peace from him which is and which was and which is to come, and from the seven spirits which are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood and hath made us past tense. Kings and priests unto God and his Father. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Have you ever read that you've been made a king and a priest? We are the kings. He's the king of. We're the lords. He's the Lord of.
Speaker 1:It's about time the church then recognize its position. It's not because of us, it's not because of our resume, it's not because of our natural talent, it's not because of us, it's not because of our resume, it's not because of our natural talent, it's because of the blood of Christ. He purchased us. And so in Revelation, rather in Romans 5, 17, it says in the Amplified that we should reign in life as kings. We should reign in life as kings. We should reign in life as kings. Well, where do kings reign? Well, they reign in their domain. They don't reign. If I'm reigning in Israel, I don't reign in Turkey. I don't reign in France. I don't think anybody's reigning in France, I think it's reigning on France. Anyway, I don't think anybody's raining in France, I think it's raining on France anyway.
Speaker 1:Did you see where Macron said that he was for the Palestinian state? You know he said that the other day. What a wimp. And so they asked Trump, you know, on his way to Europe, he was on his way to Scotland and he was outside the helicopter fixed to get on Air Force One to fly to Scotland. He has impromptu news conferences everywhere. You know, here for four years we never even saw a press conference from Biden, and he does two or three a day sometimes, and then his press secretary has them. I mean, man, you're talking about transparent, but anyway they. They said uh, what'd you think A Macron is for the Palestinian state? He said well, he said, you know, the good thing about it is, it doesn't matter what he says. He stepped on him like a bug anyway. He stepped on him like a bug Anyway.
Speaker 1:No, we should reign in life as kings.
Speaker 1:We all have our domain. We have a place where we should rule and reign, of course, our bodies, our minds, our homes. But it also translates into our region, you know, in Harris County or wherever county you live in. And we started ruling in Harris County this morning. We had 30 some odd judge candidates here. Many of them were in the service. It's the first time I can remember that many candidates came for an entire service. I mean, I was so honored and so blessed that they came. They took time out of their. That's how much weight, that's how much they know that God is gonna be the one that puts them over man. I mean it was awesome. And then I'm preaching. When I'm preaching, it was just a perfect. It was a perfect storm, you know, and what an honor to get to encourage them. We're ruling and reigning as kings. It's been messed up too long. We're going to take it back Harris County. We should follow the examples in the Bible. That's not how we start, it's how we finish and whether we finish.
Speaker 1:So when I'm reading these verses, I'm thinking about ruling in my domain. I'm I'm thinking about well, it's not just my authority. My authority comes from spending a whole lot of time investigating, scrutinizing the word, searching what the word says about anything and everything, spending time in prayer, hanging out with God and, and many times, the things that I'm seeking about. When I start praying in the Holy Ghost, the answer comes up in my spirit and suddenly my mind knows what my spirit's been knowing for a while so important to have a prayer life, so important to have a word life. God rewards the diligent seeker.
Speaker 1:Isaiah 55, 6 says seek you the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he's near. You know, there are times when we have to be sensitive. If we're God inside minded, there are times when we need to be sensitive where God is ready to shed light on something that we've been asking about, but we're not. It's not convenient. Maybe we've got our schedule, maybe we've got our thing that we're distracted about. Well, you know, god's not going to chase you down the road.
Speaker 1:Thank God Paul somehow perceived in his spirit. This voyage is going to be with much hurt, both of the lading of the sheep and of our lives. And just because he warned them, just because he warned them, god spared their life. That's the only reason they I mean, if he'd have just kind of well, well, I got to listen to me. Eh, that's just me. I guess that's just me. I'm not worried. We're going to sail across there. Well, he would. He would have died too. What, what would we? What if Paul had drowned out there in the Mediterranean Because he missed God? I wonder how many great men and women of God missed God and they died before they really got to accomplish their call. Of course, god's not dependent on any one person. He can just go right around and find somebody else that's more obedient.
Speaker 1:One time he was talking to me after 9-11, telling me some things. He said I'm going to send a hot, dry wind. He said I'm going to send a hot, dry wind. And he said you know, it's going to blow through the church and people are going to get so thirsty that they're going to be like the dying man in the movie where they were crawling across the desert and they're looking at the mirage and they're thinking if they can just get over the next little rise, there's water. But it was. It was fake. He said no, you're not a mirage, you make sure there's water for them. When they arrive at your doorstep they're going to be so hungry and so thirsty. Make sure you've got living water for them. He said you know, you weren't my first choice. He began to share some other things with me after 9-11. This church kind of changed, it shifted. Thanks, you know, we had some other things that God gave us and mandates. He said you weren't my first choice, but you were available. You kept on seeking me, so I'm going to use you, but you make sure you're humble. You make sure you humble yourself under my mighty hand, because I can just as easily shift off of you and give it to somebody else.
Speaker 1:These kings somehow stayed humble enough to stay in contact with the God of creation. They sought him, and that's rare. When you read the whole book of Kings and Chronicles, I mean most of those, most of those kings. They did evil. Most of those kings just did whatever they wanted to do, even Solomon. I mean Solomon started out really good but man, he wound up bad. His many wives polluted his heart from the Lord. He got livened. His heart was turned toward these idolatrous women that he married Got to watch your associations.
Speaker 1:God rewards the diligent seeker. Seek ye the Lord and call upon him. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he's near. See it's, seize the moment when God begins to show you something. Lay everything down and start praying. Right then it's like catching a wave. I mean you know I've been to Hawaii and start praying. Right then it's like catching a wave. I mean you know I've been to Hawaii, in the North Shore, those massive waves. I mean God, you just there's no way I'm gonna get out there in that ocean. But they're out there paddling. They get out there and they get on that wave. And I mean it's 40 foot tall and there's rocks right over there. I mean they gotta know where the current is going. If they're not careful they're going to wind up on the rock and die, or if that wave falls on top of them somehow. I mean it's tons of water, but they have to pass waves up until they get the right one. And listen God when he's beginning to bring revelation to you, when he's beginning to communicate with you. You've got to seize the moment. Seek you the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he's near. Everybody say seize the moment. Let's look at Psalm 50. Get anything out of this? Well, I've hardly started, so I guess Got another hour and a half. No, I don't. Psalm 50. Verse 21. Verse 21. Well, he goes through a bunch of rebukes of Israel and he goes on and talks about how they've hated instruction and cast his words behind them. You saw a thief and you consented with him. And partaker with adulterers. Give your mouth the evil, your tongue frames deceit and you talk about your brother. And then it gets down to verse 21. These things hast thou done. I mean he is blistering them. It's a Psalm of Asaph. I mean he is letting them know how bad little boys they've been. These things hast thou done and I kept silence. I call it the silence factor. You've done evil and I've kept silence. You thought that I was altogether such as one as yourself. But I will reprove thee and set them in order before your eyes Sounds kind of ominous, doesn't it About to say? The silence factor? Israel did evil and God didn't say anything. He just let them go ahead. I mean, you know, sometimes we don't, we're on the wrong track and God will just let us keep going down that wrong track. Sometimes we get sucked into wrong associations and God will just go ahead and be silent and let you just go right along. He doesn't chase you down the road, he doesn't ring the alarm bell often if we fail to seek the Lord diligently, relentlessly. See, if you did that, you wouldn't have that kind of situation. But you don't, you haven't. And so therefore, the flesh is taken over instead of ruling in your domain. Now you've got a power vacuum and the devil's coming over here and he's distracting you and he, he's using your flesh against you and you're just kind of going down the road. I didn't say anything about it, I didn't feel anything. In my way. You're hard hearted, reason, you didn't feel anything. Your conscience is seared. Your conscience has ceased to be a very good guide to you because you've resisted his word. Are you with me now? Wrong decisions, wrong timing, wrong associations, the silence factor. A silence factor. In Mark, chapter 6, verse 48,. Right after the five loaves and two fishes, jesus sent the disciples on across the lake, told them to go on the other side. He stayed back and was praying and then, at the fourth watch of the night, jesus come walking on the water. And just in case you didn't know, that's between 3 and 6 am, that's right before daylight. See, right in that fourth watch is the darkest time of night, and yet it's just before the dawn. I mean, right like that, it's just, it's so dark. And then suddenly I've been at Galveston so many times and I'm up at Galveston so many times and I'm up at that hour and it's so black and so dark, and suddenly it's broke. The light breaks over that ocean and man, that Gulf, the Gulf of America, and tickles me. It just gets light, just like that. And all night long it's been dark, just like that. And all night long it's been dark, dark, dark. And men, three o'clock, six o'clock is darker than ever, it's the darkest. And then suddenly boom. And so at the fourth watch of the night, here comes Jesus bebopping, and he would have made like he was going to go right past them. And they're toiling out there and rowing. The wind is against them and they hadn't made any progress. And Jesus is just acting like he didn't even pay them any attention. He acted like he was going to go right past them and beat them over to the other side. And they're in a boat and he's walking and they see him and they don't know it's him. They think it's a ghost, they think it's a spirit and they start hollering. And Jesus, you know, he's so merciful. I mean, he could have just kept going, but he didn't. I mean, even with all the unbelief and the fear that they had, they didn't even know who he was. Isn't that amazing? I mean, well, you wouldn't expect him to be walking on the water, would you? Kind of surprised him. It gave him a strawberry surprise, anyway. So he went over to them. He says be not afraid, it is I, it is, I Be not afraid. And he got in the boat with them and they went ashore. I mean, he just helped them get across, but he would have passed by them Another time. In Luke 24, on the road to Emmaus. He had the two disciples after his resurrection. And they're on the road to Emmaus and Jesus appears to them. They don't know it's Jesus, the risen savior doesn't look like himself. He's risen from the dead. He doesn't look like himself. And they start talking, you know, and everything. And well, haven't you heard what happened today? Where have you been, da-da-da Jesus? We supposed he was the son of God, but he was crucified. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and on and on and on, and so, starting in the Psalms, all the way, you know, through the prophets, he began to declare all the things about himself and their hearts began to burn within them and they reached the village where they were headed, and they turned off to go to the village, but Jesus was going to keep on going. He was not going to go with them. He had preached to them and they were on fire. They just loved everything he was saying. They still didn't know who it was, but man, they were excited. Oh, no, no, they constrained him. I mean, your diligent seeking will constrain the Lord. He will be constrained to begin to speak with you and answer you If you'll be relentless in your seeking. And, of course, you know the story. I mean, they were hungry and they broke bread, and when Jesus broke the bread, well, he disappeared. It had to be unnerving and they went back to town and that was the Lord. We were talking to the Lord. Wow, he revealed himself. Matthew 7, 7,. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, he said seek and you shall find. Really, the Greek is seek and keep on seeking and you shall find. Seek and keep on seeking and you shall find. Seek and keep on seeking the diligent seeker. So three things about the diligent seeker. Number one let's look at John 8. I love this verse John 8, 31. If you continue, jesus said to those Jews which believed on him the believing Jews didn't even say his disciples. There were some other believing Jews. He said to this. To them he said if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. Now, most of the time we misquote that verse and we say you'll know the truth, it will say it. I've heard it quoted this way many, many times with people that are not very up on the Bible. They'll say well, the truth will set you free. Well, that's not what it says at all. The truth will not set you free, it's only the truth that you know, and it won't set you free if you continue. See, you've got to continue in the Word. That's the only way the truth has got any power over you. If you continue, if you're diligent. The diligent seeker continues in the Word and that Word doesn't set them free. Why? Because they're never bound, they're made free. They're, they're members of the free society. You are free. You're not set free. The set free part came when you got saved. But when you continue in the word, when you diligently seek him, you're never snared, you're never caught in a trap. You're made free In another place. He told the disciples follow me and I'll make you to become fishers of men. But I like what Brother Osteen he used to quote it this way follow me and I'll make you. You follow Jesus, he will make you. He's the greatest builder that ever lived. And if you'll continue and if you will be diligent, if you will be uncompromising, he'll make you a free person. You're just free all the time. You're free, unquestionably free. You're not ever caught. You're never bound, your foot's not in any kind of trap. You might be tempted in that area, you might come across a trap, but you're not going to get caught in it. Why? Because you're always diligently seeking him. All right, the diligent seeker Number two continues in prayer. James 5, 14 in the Amplified says the earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of the righteous makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working, continued there's that word again. Continued, consistent, diligent, all those words, I'm going to read them again Scrutinized, investigate, crave, require, relentless, all those words have to do with diligent, and when your prayer is like that, it makes tremendous power available. The reason this church is entering into its greatest day is because of prayer, not just every now and then. 30 year record, 30 years of praying, and not just on Thursday night. We've had a lot of prayer meetings, just in the service. I was talking about that time where we prayed against Obamacare on a Wednesday night. It was supposed to be a Wednesday night service. We had praise and worship, all right, but I didn't preach a message. We had a prayer meeting and we cried against Obamacare. I knew what it was. It's a prelude to socialized medicine. It was designed to ruin our healthcare system, which it did. It turned it into a third-rate bunch of baloney run by a bunch of DEI hires that don't know squat. Give me a Jewish doctor that used to just grab you by the hand, look you in the eye, stick out your tongue. You know, get the tongue to pressure out. Look down your throat, look at your eyeballs, look at your hands, look at your fingernails and write a prescription. I got sick in Rock Springs, texas, one time. I was so sick I couldn't lift my head up. I was out at the deer lease. I wouldn't say back then. I was out at the deer lease and I got so sick I didn't know if I was going to make it into town. I made it into town. I started asking is there any doctor in town? Have you ever been to Rock Springs, texas? Man, it's a one horse town and a deer lease was there. I was out there taking care of the deer blinds and whatever. And I found this Jewish doctor out in this country, out on this little spread, you know 10, 20 acres, and rode up this dirt road, knocked on his door. He invited me. I mean, that's what he did. He grabbed me by the hand, looked at my eyes, my tongue, wrote me a prescription and, man, I mean, in 24 hours I felt like a new man. But nowadays you go and you go to the emergency room and they run every test and they run an MRI and they and they do all of this stuff and you still don't. And then instead they go yeah, there's nothing, we can't find anything wrong. All right, anyway, I got off off track, but it's designed to mess up our, which it did, and we're still paying the price all these years. And and we prayed against it and they did pass it. It didn't. Our prayer didn't didn't stop it, but I'll tell you what it did do. I had a vision of dominoes falling one after another. The dominoes started falling, which I took to mean that it was going to get destroyed. Well, it did. It wasn't destroyed, and even in Trump's first term, the numbskull Republicans did not get rid of Obamacare. When they had control of the Congress, rhinos got a long way to go. So we're stuck with this with Obamacare and and costs have gone way up. Insurance has gone way up. I mean at the church. Our health insurance has gone through the roof, like all the other insurance. It's ridiculous. It's crazy. Why Obamacare? They wanted to have socialized medicine. That was their plan. Make us so miserable that we would give up and say, okay, come on, government, just fix it. No, let's go back to what we had before. We had the greatest healthcare system in the world and, of course we got mutual of Jesus, which beats all of that anyway. But I believe we're living through the days when the dominoes are falling right now. The dominoes are falling right now. So the diligent seeker continues in the word Isaiah 55, seek you the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he's near. My ways are higher than your ways, my thoughts and your thoughts. What are his thoughts? These are his thoughts, these are his ways. When you diligently seek him, you'll know what he's thinking, you'll know his way and even you know you can make this word work without even having a revelation or rhema. He doesn't have to even tell you. If you know what's in that Bible, you can act on that word regardless. It doesn't have to be quickened to you. Sometimes we're certain Lord, give me a word, give me a rhema, you've got the word. You can use that word. I don't know I wasn't planning on saying this, but Brother Hagin talks about. He had a cousin whose baby was born malformed head. It wasn't expected to live and his mother called him oh son, I think the guy's name was Billy or Ben, I'm not sure. Benny, benny, I think your cousin Benny wants to talk to you. Their baby was born and they're not expecting the baby to live and they won't let him see the baby because its head is malformed and it's not going to make it anyway, and he just wants you to pray. And he didn't even talk to Benny. He said tell Benny that the baby will live and not die. That's all he said. Tell Benny the baby will live and not die. And so you know. And before he could get back in there, a nurse come running out with the baby and said it's a miracle. I mean, just while we were watching the baby, it looked like the head just blew up and it just was perfectly formed. It's going to be all right, it's, it's, the crisis is over, it's a. It's just, it's amazing. We don't even know. And and and, and you know, his mother said oh, son, it was so good that you had that word from God. He said yeah, I had that word from God. It's called Mark 11, 23. See, he just acted on the word. You can have what you say If you believe in your heart. See, you can use your faith on behalf of somebody that doesn't have that kind of faith. You can use your faith on that. And it's not that God gave you that rhema word. You just acted on the word. Where does that come from? Diligently seeking him? It's in you, the word's in you, all right. So the diligent seeker continues in the word, continues in prayer and finally continues being filled with the spirit. Look at Ephesians, chapter 5. Amen, everybody say. I'm determined to diligently seek the Lord and reap my reward Ephesians 5, 17. Wherefore, be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is and what is the will of the Lord, and be not drunk with wine, where is an excess, but be filled with the spirit. Be is, uh, the Greek word, be being filled. And when you look up in the linguistic key to the Greek new Testament, it means be continually and habitually filled with the Holy ghost. Continually continue that word, continue. Be continually and habitually filled with the Holy Ghost. Continually continue that word. Continue. Be continually and habitually filled with the Holy Ghost speaking to yourselves and psalms and hymns, spiritual songs, singing, making melody in your heart to the Lord. And so that's God's way, god's ways are you're going to find out when you, when you pray up, much in. I just, I mean, I just make myself, you know, I mean I've got a lot of different things that I'm doing now that I used to not do. I'm a caregiver for my wife. I've hired a lady to come in part-time, but it's just part-time Now. The rest of the time I'm there to help her. I have to help Gladys. I used to not have to help her, but now I have to help her. Well, that takes time. So what do I have to do? Well, I found out that I've got to pray much in other tongues. I mean, I find myself praying much in other tongues. I pray, pray, pray in other tongues. I'm going to do that's the will of God and that way, when you're full of God's Spirit, then you know His ways. God's ways are always indicated by the Holy Ghost. I like Psalm 25, you know, show me thy ways, o Lord. Teach me thy paths, lead me in thy truth, teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation. On they do I wait all the day. So you know, let's pick up these hints from the Word of God and let's apply them in our lives. 2 Peter 1.10 says give diligence there's that word again to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you shall never fall. So the diligent seeker never falls and always gets rewarded. Come on, lift your hands and receive tonight Hallelujah. Everybody say I'm determined to seek him diligently and receive all of his rewards, hallelujah.
