2025 - The Year Of Milestones 2
Milestones define our journey in 2025, a year steeped in reflection and growth. We explore the essence of an apostolic lifestyle, drawing on Paul's wisdom imparted to Timothy about courage and duty. Through Cornelius's story, we witness the transformative power of prayer and giving, highlighting how these practices can lead to salvation and community growth. As we recount testimonials of God's faithfulness and divine partnership, listeners are invited to deepen their prayer lives and forge genuine relationships with God—beyond mere scriptural knowledge.
Lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad. Let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today. I'm celebrating with this body and I'm so glad to be here. I'm glad for the Holy Ghost. Father, you've been faithful, you've been faithful to me, you've been faithful to us. We give you glory today. Give me the word of God, shine your light on it so it'll build my faith, nourish my spirit so that I can overcome every hindrance to your plan for my life. In Jesus' name, amen. All right, we're talking about 2025, the year of milestones. This is the second message.
Speaker 1:And, as I mentioned, sunday night was the apostolic lifestyle. Somebody chokes on that. What in the world was that? We'll get the message. And I said it was meat. That night, when I preached it, I said you know, I can't cut the meat up for you. You'll have to. But I'm going to give you a steak finger basket. Just dip the steak finger in the gravy and eat it. Amen, but you're going to have to eat it. I mean, you won't get it any other way and it's just tied into these messages.
Speaker 1:And then, of coursenesday night, um, preaching on uh cornelius. It was uh, you know the power of positive expectation. You know if the devil can steal your hope or your positive expectation, then you're. There's nothing for faith to give substance to you're, you're, you're in a descending spiral, the way this nation has been for the last long time, 12 out of the last 16 years a spiral. Thank God we've got a new guy in the White House, maybe we can. I mean, he did more in five days than we've seen. And I'm thinking I don't know how many years they keep talking about Biden. I mean go all the way back, but anyway. How many years they keep talking about Biden? I mean go all the way back, but anyway. Praise God Italt like the horn of a unicorn. I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Fresh means new. I believe there's new anointings that are being distributed that we've never experienced.
Speaker 1:We talked about that last week. Then 1 Timothy, chapter 1. We talked about that last week. Then 1 Timothy, chapter 1.
Speaker 1:Paul writing to his son in the faith, who was young but yet he was an apostle. He had a lot of persecution because of his age. Verse 17,. Now, under the king eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise, god be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. And then the next verse, he tells him how to bring honor and glory to the God, the only wise God. How do you do that? This charge, this mandate, I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war, a good warfare. War, a good warfare is executing the apostolate with all of its arduous duties. It implies danger. We're living in dangerous days.
Speaker 1:The church itself. Jesus sent the church into the world. He said go. That, by definition, is apostolic. The apostle is a sent one. We collectively are sent. I said we're sent and we're not sent into all the world at one time. We're sent by degree. We're sent by the amount of obedience we have starting out.
Speaker 1:You know you don't start out in 12th grade. You start out nowadays you start out in pre-K. When I was a kid they didn't even have kindergarten. I started out in first grade, but now we've got. I mean it's amazing. These little kids two or three years old know how to read, mommy, just you know, they're so smart, they just absorb and you know, waste a lot of time waiting until the first grade. But anyway, you don't start out and you know you start. You don't start out as a, as a doctor. You know, just because you want to be a doctor, you need years of training and so, um, in ministry, you don't get to start off at the top, you start off where God puts you, sometimes very simple, very, very. You know it's, it's, it's your, it's your world, it's your home, it's your marriage, it's your children. You, you rule and reign. See the whole.
Speaker 1:The apostolic is all about kings, the kingdom of God. What is the kingdom of God? Made up of Kings, not slips, not chopped liver Kings. We're kings by the time the church rises up and begins to exercise its authority, its kingly authority over this age and over this world, so that you might war, a good warfare. So I cover that Sunday night in that message the Apostolic Lifestyle. You need to get it. Get Sunday morning's message last week, get the prophecy and get Wednesday night's message on the power of prayer.
Speaker 1:We're going to talk about prayer today and what it's done in this church. Because we're here, because we prayed and because we gave. Praying and giving move things. They move people. I mean, look at Cornelius. I mean he's lost and doesn't know it. He's going to hell and doesn't know it. And because he gave and because he prayed, god sent him an angel saying you better, send Peter. He's going to give you words whereby you and your household can be. It's not just you, your whole household, your near kin and your friends. I mean. When Peter showed up on the scene, I mean the whole group got saved, changed their life forever. But Peter had to be moved. Peter had to have a visitation and get him off of his Judaism.
Speaker 1:The early church was eat up with religion folks. They had a lot to learn and what changed them? Prayer and giving. That's why we're here today, that's why we're in this building, that's why we're 30 years old and we didn't perish like most churches in the first couple of years. Lots of churches start, very few, finish All right. So praise God for our 30th milestone year.
Speaker 1:What is a milestone? It's an important event in the history of something or someone. I mean. Just think about when you started school that's a milestone. When you graduated high school, that's a milestone. You got married. If you're married, that's a milestone. You had your first child. If you did well, that's a milestone. We've got lots of milestones in our lives that we mark. We mark our lives by the milestones. I've been looking back on some of the milestones. I'm going to share some milestones in prayer with you this morning that we had that some of you may know that you've lived through. We've got a number of people that have been here from the beginning, but whether you're here for 30 years or whether you're here for 30 minutes, we all part alike. I want to encourage the ones of you that just got here. You know this is not a big-eyed, little-you service. We're all in this together.
Speaker 1:You know, jesus is the one that told the parable of the householder that had a vineyard and he hired guys to go out into the vineyard to work in his vineyard. And he started six o'clock in the morning and he said I'll pay you X amount for all day. Get here, you stay, work all the way till sundown. I'll pay you this amount. And there wasn't enough guys. So he hired some more at nine o'clock in the morning, started at six he started. He hired some more at nine. He hired some more at noon, he hired some more at three, hired some more at five o'clock and then six o'clock, it's over. He lines them up and the late comers, the guys that got there at five and they got there at three, they got that same amount of money that the guys that worked all day long.
Speaker 1:And the guys that worked all day long according to Jesus, they're griping that. And the guys that worked all day long according to Jesus, they're griping that's not fair. I was here all day, in the heat of the day. I knew me, me, me, me, me, me. This is Jesus talking. And the householder said well, look, isn't it my money? Can't I do with my money what I want? What does it hurt you? You agreed, I'm not hurting you. I'm giving you what I said. And Jesus said the last shall be first of the first, last. So if you just got here, listen, you're not going to get short change. You're going to get the benefit of 30 years of sowing, seed and prayer.
Speaker 1:I want y'all all to join in with this milestone because we're in it together. I don't care how many churches you've been to, I don't care how much moving you've had to do. Some of you have had to move and move. You know it's hard to find a good church, but when you find it, don't leave ever Spoken like a pastor, all right, so, personally and corporately. So what's a milestone? It's an important event, it's a landmark, a turning point, a tipping point, a watershed moment, and, personally and corporately, we're going to see together the harvest of the seeds that we planted. And a lot of it is going to happen this year. It's already happening and I want to point some of these things out this morning.
Speaker 1:And the results of a milestone is a testimony. That's what it is. It's a testimony. It's meant to be spoken about. It's meant to be given out as glory to God. A testimony, your testimony is vital. Don't hide your light under a bushel. Put it on a candlestick. It's not about pride. It's not about you know, drawing attention to yourself. You're testifying about how faithful God is. Every one of these milestones is a testimony, and we've got more to come. This is a year of it and you know they're great testimonies to the glory of God. I mean, that's what we're here to do to glorify God. So milestones are events that are birthed in prayer. They wouldn't occur if it wasn't prayer.
Speaker 1:I can't emphasize enough the importance of prayer and having a prayer life. I know I sound like a broken record. I teach on prayer regularly. What is prayer? Well, it's not you giving God a laundry list of your to-do list or anything. It's not that, it's a dialogue. When I say dialogue you think voice, but really it's communication. God communicates to you Mainly he communicates to you through his word. His word is his will. That's the general will of God. You want the general will of God. It's right here. The general will of God, walk in love. You know so forth, forgive, so forth. The general will of God.
Speaker 1:But then you're going to come across things that are not written in the word, and that's when you need a specific word. And specific words are rhema words, god-breathed words. I mean God can take a rhema word. You can be reading your Bible. One day, when I was just hadn't been saved very long, I was reading the book of John and it says in there you know, there was a man sent from God whose name was John Griner, changed my life. I started bawling Rhema words. You need Rhema words.
Speaker 1:Another form of Rhema word is prophecy, and I don't mean by the sidewalk prophet, some wannabe goofball, flaky person goes around prophesying because they went to a class and learned how to do it. No, I'm not talking about that kind of prophetic word. I'm talking about a prophetic word that comes through the ministry, through the God proven ministry of this church and through people that we have in here. I've had flakes, try to speak over me. I just, I'm polite, but I just, I just, I just let it all bounce off. But then there's the real seed. The devil only counterfeits what's real.
Speaker 1:And a prophetic word, like we had on January the 5th, see, that's worthy of the kind of standing the word of God has, and you should meditate on that prophecy about the milestone year and you should take every word of it and do battle with it. That's what he told his son in the faith. He said do battle. What battle is that? The fight of faith, because the devil's not going to let you accomplish what God has for you without a fight. He's going to fight you every step of the way. He's fought us every step of the way in this church. How did we overcome him? By the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.
Speaker 1:So prayer is a dialogue. It's a two-way communication and communication partnership relationship. When you pray, you just yes, I've heard this and I believe it. You can only know God by his word. I know people that know the word backwards and forwards. They quote whole verses, but they don't really know God very well because they don't have a prayer life. So you can know the letter without knowing the author of the letter. So we need the word, but we need communion with him. Communication communion, partnership. The Bible calls it koinonia Partnership. We're partners with God. We're partners in the enterprise. God and sons unlimited. He's invited us to sit around the table. We have a.
Speaker 1:You don't start out that way as a baby Christian, but as you grow and as you're faithful over things, one thing after another, I mean as you're faithful and you show yourself faithful in all these things, I'll tell you God will depend on you to do great things. He uses ordinary people to do great things, not just preachers. My job is to train you to do them. Are you with me now? Cpr, cpr, communication, partnership, relationship, resuscitation To whoop.
Speaker 1:If you've never been shocked, I've been shocked several times. I almost knocked the doctor down the last time. He was too close to me. When they shot me, they had to shock my heart to get it back in sinus rhythm. I had atrial flutter and then they got it moved over into atrial fibrillation. And you know, after several days in ICU and then, finally, it was time to shock me over and he was standing over me and I was warning him. I said don't you do like the last person.
Speaker 1:They put something in my mouth like this under these two teeth and these are caps and they both broke. It cost me $3,800 to replace them. You know, put it like a horse, put it on my jaw teeth, put it, you know. So he had my mouth stuffed full of rags and everything else Because I was busy chewing them out. For the last time they did it. And he's standing over me and bless his heart. You know, somebody pushed the button. I came up out of the bed and hit him and I almost he's a little guy and I knocked him across the room, cpr. You know, across the room, cpr.
Speaker 1:You know God can startle you. You have a prayer life. God can startle you with some of the things he will require of you. See, we're in a covenant. It's not all one way. It's not us asking God, asking God, asking God. He's going to ask you, he's going to give you something to do, but if you don't have a prayer life, you won't know it. If you don't have a prayer life, you won't know where to be, at the right time in the right place with the right people Got to have a prayer life.
Speaker 1:This church has a prayer life, and so every revival that we've ever seen was birthed in prayer. Somebody prayed. John Wesley said about prayer, the great Methodist revivalist and I'm not talking about the modern Methodist church, but back then they were shouting Methodists. Back then they had the revelation of being born again, they were evangelical, they believed the Bible. And John Wesley was a mighty man of God and didn't start out that way. But he got that way because why he prayed? And he said it seems as if God can do nothing on the earth unless one. Some man prays. And he said you know, when I pray, at least, I start every day with two hours of prayer. And when it looks like my schedule is going to be full and I've got a whole lot going on and it looks like I'm just overwhelmed. And he said then I pray three hours. And so my prayer life, gladys' prayer life, my children's prayer life, their spouse's prayer life, even my grandkids' prayer life. We're a praying family. We wouldn't be here if we weren't praying. And this church has got a prayer life.
Speaker 1:Let's look at Romans 8. And this is one that we practice continually. It's vital that you practice it. Romans 8, 26. Likewise the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, also helpeth our infirmities, our frailties, our shortcomings, our lack of knowledge, our frailties, our shortcomings, our lack of knowledge, even our emotional pit that we seem to be in when we start to pray. You ever been that way. You just kind of been starting in the bottom. I don't recommend starting prayer like that. I recommend praising God. Until that gets off of you, it's a whole lot easier to pray. But anyway, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for, as we ought.
Speaker 1:Cornelius didn't know what he was praying. He didn't know what to pray for. He didn't know that he needed words whereby him and his house could be saved. He didn't know it, but he prayed anyway. Who helped him pray? The Holy Ghost helped him. But the spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Speaker 1:One version says an intelligible speech. So it's not just groanings like weeping and crying type of prayer. That's a. That's a form of prayer I've got, you know, sometimes the, the spirit will fall on me in such a way. I, you know paul, said uh to the galatian church, my little children and of whom I travail in uh, prayer until Christ be formed in you. He said I stand in doubt of you. I hear I've given you the gospel and you're listening to people that are preaching another gospel. They're carrying another spirit. You're giving place to people that are hurting you. You're going backwards. You're going back to Judaism. No, I don't do that. Going backwards, you're going back to Judaism. No, I don't do that. Were you saved by Judaism or by faith? See? So he had to correct them. But he had to pray. He had that. You know. The Holy Ghost helped him intercede for them and he birthed something in them. See, prayer will birth a milestone.
Speaker 1:Praying in tongues when we pray in tongues corporately, we have prayer meeting on Thursday night. You know, when we pray all we get together and pray. I have a guideline. I have some things I want them to pray over, because I'm the pastor and I want them to not get off base and go way over here and way over here. But you know, I give them some guidelines. They're free, they're mature, they can go where the Spirit leads them, but they have to have some idea of what target we want to hit. And when they pray in tongues, the Holy Ghost helps them because they don't really know exactly how to pray as they should. But when they pray in tongues, the Holy Ghost helps them. He takes hold together with them against.
Speaker 1:See, a lot of prayer is praying against and not praying for. I didn't know that. Well, that's why you're here today. It's not about begging God to get in a mood to bless us. It's about rebuking the devil. Get off my stuff, get out of my body, get out of my children Bye-bye.
Speaker 1:Everybody say corporate prayer, corporate prayer. So by prayer we know God's perfect, god's perspective. See, god has a perspective. We got to get his perspective and our perspective is seldom, you know, his ways are higher than our ways, his thoughts higher than our thoughts. Well, if it ended there, well, that would be bad. But no, this is the way to find out what that is, find out what that is. So the general will of God is the Logos. A specific will of God is Rhema or, in some cases, prophetic words that go before you. I've had many wonderful prophetic words that I've had to do battle with, milestones of prayer. So I'll start with August of 1994, before this church started, I had just returned home from a pastor's conference that I went with Brother Osteen to Paris, france. We had a group of pastors there that we washed their feet. You know you're talking about a group of men and women that are apostles and prophets and pastors and teachers and evangelists in their own right, and we come not just to superior, but we come to give them what we have, and now they have more. We've increased their value, we've helped them, given them something.
Speaker 1:But it was a heavy trip for me. I wasn't really even in the mood to go because I had a house that I built and it wasn't wooden cells Nicest house I'd ever built 5,000 square foot three-story house, five bedrooms, five and a half baths. 5,000 square foot three-story house, five bedrooms, five and a half baths. Big old, oversized lot. Big oversized two-car garage with quarters that were roughed in not finished, but roughed in above the garage. I looked it up recently. Its value on HCAD right now is $1.6 million and I built it what? 40 years ago? But I couldn't get $695,000 for it. Nobody wanted that house and I had $4,000 a month interest and I was man.
Speaker 1:I was in a pickle again and so I was a little distracted going on this trip. But I knew it was God that I go. So I went and we were getting over jet lag. You know it's not as bad in Europe as it is to Asia, but it's still jet lag. Asia's tough 14 hours. They know about it, 14 hour difference. When you go and come in a week, you know, you 14-hour. You don't really know who you are for a while, but anyway. So my schedule is his schedule. So you know we get up like 4 o'clock in the morning, you know, have coffee. Finally it's daylight, it's Paris and it's July. In July in Houston it's hot and muggy Out there. It's daylight, it's Paris and it's July, and July in Houston is hot and muggy. Out there it's 50 degrees. You walk out of the hotel room and you're way up north. You know, and we sailed down the Seine River. You know, we got a boat and we got out in the sunlight trying to get over jet lag.
Speaker 1:You know, and I never burdened Brother Osteen with my troubles, but I just made a statement, I said, brother Osteen, I said you know what? I'm just sick and tired of lack, and I know the word works and when I get home I'm going to find out where I missed it, because, man, this is ridiculous. That's all I said and he kind of looked at me. He didn't ask me any questions, thank God.
Speaker 1:And so the next morning, same thing. We're getting up real before daylight and we're sitting in the same room, I'm in a bed, I've got a little table and it's got a coffee, my portable coffee thing. So I made portable coffee, a cup for him, a cup for me, and I gave him his cup. He's in his robe. I'm still laying in my bed. I'm sipping the coffee.
Speaker 1:You know, he said, john, I got a word for you. Look here now, jeremiah. It says you know, refrain your voice from weeping your eyes from tears, for your work shall be rewarded. Saith the Lord, and there is hope in thine end. John, I'm telling you, god's got a blessing for you. God's got a blessing for you. That voice, you know, god's got a blessing for you. You'll hear it later on the video, not that one but another one. And you know how would you like to have John Osteen standing at the foot of your bed preaching you a message To encourage you.
Speaker 1:But I took that word and I did battle with it. When I came home. I started right there in Jeremiah. I started right there and I just went right down Jeremiah until later on, you know, god began to deal with me, you know, Jeremiah, until later on, you know God began to deal with me, you know. So, in a couple of hours, when we showed up for the pastor's meeting, for the minister's conference, well, he preached that same message. I got to hear it twice, you know, it just really got into me.
Speaker 1:And so we got back and I had signed a contract with another builder, a guy that I knew from Lakewood, who had a build on your lot business. He built all over everywhere, one house at a time, a lot in here, a lot there, build on your lot, and he needed help and and, and so I made a deal with him because, with no cash flow, I, my company, froze up. The bank agreed not to collect interest, just let it roll, $4,000 a month times six months, anyway. So, but I had to have money, I had to, you know. So he paid my company, my company could pay me less than what I was making before, but a salary is something to get along and I would.
Speaker 1:So that morning in August I think it was August, I have a date here. Well, august, I didn't have the date August of 94. I'm getting up real early, because I've got to leave my house in spring and I've got to go to Humboldt, crosby, mont Bellevue, baytown, alvin you ought to get a map and look at that route. It's 300 miles by the time I get home, you know, and I did that for six months until we started the church. I went from August all the way until when we started the church to do that, to have some amount of income, a little bit of income, and so I had to get up early to have a prayer time before I left to go on that long trip.
Speaker 1:So it's 4.30, 5 o'clock in the morning. I'm like you, I don't feel like praying, I don't feel like doing anything. I've got a cup of coffee and I'm just trying to get my eyes pried open and the Holy Ghost says Son, you're a minister of the sanctuary. Well, my heart starts racing. I drop my coffee, I get my Bible. I knew it was in Hebrews, I wasn't sure exactly where, but it's Hebrews 8, 2. And it's talking about Jesus, our high priest, who was a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched to, not man. So he gave me half of a verse Son, you're a minister of the sanctuary, sanctuary, in my margin, in my King James Bible says holy things, son, you're a minister of the holy things.
Speaker 1:I said, oh my God, that's where I missed it. I've been messing around with the unholy things. See, I started that house. I should have started this church, back it up 16 months. And that's where I missed God, because I was under pressure. My partner didn't want to quit. Fear of man trying to please man. I knew I had a hesitation. I didn't obey the hesitation. The hesitation was the witness not to start the house. It took me a long time to learn this hesitation versus green light, versus red light. I mean, you've got to learn that. I teach it the time to go down false pathways. We've got an opportunity in 2025. It's about this big. It looks huge but it's not. It's very small and we're going to have to hit the mark.
Speaker 1:So I went into Gladys. I woke her up. I said honey, honey. Holy Ghost spoke to me. I've been asking him what I'm going to do, what to do. He told me who I am. You are a minister. He didn't say you're a home builder with a ministry. He didn't say you're a businessman with a ministry. You're not a lay priest, you are a minister of the holy thing with a ministry. You're not a lay priest, you are a minister of the holy thing.
Speaker 1:I said, honey, it's time we let the unholy things go and start getting getting this church started. We've got to start this church. You know, I'm a pastor. I've got to start this church. She agreed, see.
Speaker 1:It took a long time for her to get an agreement, but she got an agreement. She heard the word of the Lord. See, we, you can argue, you can talk. We've argued, we've talked. But you know, when you have a word from God it knocks all that off. I don't blame her. She'd walk through fire with me Every kind of failure you can have. She doesn't 100% trust me and what I say, but when I had a word from God she could get a witness for it. We melted our bedside and we committed our lives. We gave our life. Like the song said, I'm surrendered. Now I give you everything. Talking about prayer and milestones. That was in August and January, the 29th 1990. I'll just I won't fill in all the other milestones between there and january 29, 1995, but there was a bunch and we started this church and again it wasn't written in the bible. 68, 27 fm.
Speaker 1:1960, is your address? 77066? How did that? The witness and the favor, praying and giving. Praying and giving moved hearts. It moved an unsaved businessman to make a deal with us for our first building. Moved him to, you know, sell us some property. Moved him to give us this land. You're sitting in a land miracle. You're sitting in a miracle. You're sitting in a miracle. Are y'all with me now?
Speaker 1:We had 103 people show up at the first service. I mean, I was amazed. You know, the devil told me all the way to church yeah, you're going to have a handful of people. It's Super Bowl Sunday. It's Super Bowl Sunday. It's Super Bowl Sunday. We're starting the church on Super Bowl Sunday. And 103 people showed up. And so I'm just rejoicing, I'm thanking the Lord. All we ran was a little ad about this big in the 1960 Sun. Who reads the 1960 Sun? No, we're about five people.
Speaker 1:You know, brother Osteen announced it with another church. Two churches started at the same Sunday. That he announced that was really wonderful. Two churches started. He had to make two announcements and it just didn't look like it was going to be any good. 103 people. I mean, we were bold, we just couldn't believe it. We counted the offering, we were just astounded that's more money than we'd seen in. I don't know how long. We actually had some money to put in the church bank. That didn't go in our pocket, it went in the church bank account. Are y'all with me now? That night? We're coming back now. It's super. They're just now playing the Superbowl. You can forget about anybody being. 68 people were there Sunday night. We've got some in the audience that were there that very first service. Why don't you raise your hand? May shoes and Judy wide and Claire Some of you asking about that young couple that's a boy and a girl that we've got a picture of.
Speaker 1:That's Claire and Jay. In case you didn't know out there, be sure, and look at all the pictures. Y'all are missing out. If you don't see all the pictures, you'll see my Omnicord, my famous Omnicord. What's that? Well, you'll find out, all right.
Speaker 1:So talking about milestones, so a few months after starting the church, we had a couple that that I didn't know well, but they seemed to be enthusiastic and real faithful coming to church and they came from another church, not like well, we have some people from lakewood, but not not a bunch, but we had a few people from lakewood and a few people from different churches that wound up coming and I had a couple that said, pastor, would you mind if we had a prayer meeting? We just feel like we ought to be praying. I said, well, that'd be good, we do need a prayer meeting. So they kind of headed up Thursday night prayer and I started getting all these people would see the lights on, they'd show up. And I had these two old ladies that showed up about three weeks in a row and they hijacked the prayer meeting and they want to pray over their next door neighbor's, cousin's dog in Minnesota you think I'm joking. They want to pray over the headline. Oh, we've got to pray for this family. Oh, what just happened? They had a car wreck and we ought to pray. Are you kidding? This is not why we're praying. We're praying for the church. Or they would want hands, they would want healing, they would want hands laid on them. I said, no, it's not a church, sir. So finally I realized we had people that were not leaders and so I shut the prayer meeting down. I said, okay, y'all just stay on, let's forget about it. It's not working.
Speaker 1:And a few weeks, about two weeks later, gladys came and says I am going to start prayer back up, I'm leading the prayer and we're going to pray for the church. I said, oh, thank God. And so we started processing the plan of God. I mean, you know, the youth need prayer, every ministry of the church needs prayer, the ushers need prayer, our leadership needs prayer. I mean, you know, we were praying over new members coming in. Are y'all with me now? And we had to train people that that prayer meeting is not for their personal needs, it's for the church. You've got Sunday morning, sunday night and in those days, wednesday night, most of the church's history. We had Wednesday night full Wednesday night service in the church building, and so that's when we open the altar, lay hands on anybody that has a need. That's when you get your needs met, but not Thursday night. Thursday night is when you're giving yourself to praying for a bigger purpose. Are y'all with me now? It took a while, but we got it done. And so, just so, here we are in the first year, and then a year at 696, just, you know, you're less than a year and a half old.
Speaker 1:I had the vision of the regional center. We had outgrown our parking, not our building. We had room for 300 people in that first building but not room for 300 people's parking Parking. We just didn't have the parking. I remember the first Easter Sunday no, it was the second Easter Sunday I was standing there and I saw cars come in the parking lot and leave, man I just because you could see from the pulpit right out the front door out into the parking lot, and that was so you know. We were looking for land. Landlord had some land, so we went and looked at land and I won't go through the whole because I've told it many times, but God spoke to me. It's a regional center. I saw a star and I zoomed out away from the star and it became a capital. What are we doing right now with capitals?
Speaker 1:A regional center is a church with executive, legislative and judicial authority, governmental authority. But that was 30 years ago. We didn't have that much authority at first. We only had a measure of it. Yet I believe the word. We did battle with the word. It didn't look like it was true, it didn't feel like it was true, we had no evidence that it was true, but I had God's word and I would not relax from it. We kept praying it. We kept saying it and then we wound up buying 92.7 acres because of it. We acted on that word, we walked by faith, and that split some people out. Some people left because they didn't like it. They thought we were crazy. Well, I guess I'm going to a heavenly insane asylum, all right, and then I'm minding my own business. We're a regional center. So two years later, in June of 98, I had probably one of the most dramatic and outstanding visitations I've ever had. I've had my share, but this was an amazing thing. I mean, we, we.
Speaker 1:I don't usually go to Thursday night prayer, but there had been seasons where I'd go to Thursday night prayer and just be there. Gladys was the leader, but I'd be there and join in. This particular night was in the first building. I'd be there and join in. This particular night was in the first building. Thursday night prayer. I walk in the room. We'd just gotten started and suddenly I was in the spirit.
Speaker 1:I'm a hundred feet off the ground on South post Oak road looking uh across the street at the week. What was back then Williams tower. I don't know what they call it today, it's as tall it was back then. It was the tallest building west of the Mississippi, certainly the tallest building in Houston outside of downtown. So it's a notable building. I'm standing across the street, 100 foot off the ground, with my eyes open. I know everybody's here, but I'm having this vision and I'm thinking what am I seeing? And something caught my eye. I looked to my right and down the sidewalk. Across the street is a pipeline of fire this big, around eight inches, 10 inches big fire running down the sidewalk perfectly round, just running along. It stops in front of the building, goes up the steps into the front doors, over to the elevators and goes all the way to the top, chup, chup, chup, chup, chup, all the way to the top. And I'm thinking what am I seeing?
Speaker 1:And the Holy Ghost said I'm about to judge corporate America. I said it out loud how many were in that prayer meeting? Gwen was there, blairs were there, anybody? Claire was there, jay was there? Blairs were there Anybody? Claire was there, jay was there. So we got witnesses.
Speaker 1:I tell it the same way every time right, and I'm thinking man, what does that mean? Judge corporate America? And then I thought, well, where did that come from? It came from my right. So I looked down the street, I looked right and that's east. And I'm looking, see, I'm facing north, I'm looking east and I look east and way in the distance I see the Capitol and the White House. Misty faded but it's way out there. And by that I knew that judgment would begin in our government and spread to corporate, to the finances of this country. I knew that that was going to be the order of it and I'm still wondering, I'm just in wonder, I'm in awe.
Speaker 1:And then suddenly I become aware that my feet are standing in something wet. And I look down and my feet are standing in blood, up to my ankles, thick red blood, and I mean I'm shocked. And it just felt. You know, it felt like you would think it would feel. I mean, I felt it, I saw it and I broke and I began to weep and I said, oh God, the blood of all our soldiers. No, wouldn't let me finish, he wouldn't let me pray, he wouldn't let me intercede for what I had seen. And I said, well, lord, then I just plead the blood of Jesus then. And then everything just receded and I went home and I was shaken. I mean, I was. I was shaken. Five hours later when I woke up the next morning we found out and I did the math five hours after I was standing in blood 200 of our Marines died in Africa at two embassies the embassy of Tanzania and Kenya were attacked by Al-Qaeda, osama bin Laden, and God couldn't protect us because we had violated so much of Israel.
Speaker 1:I mean, look at how badly this country has treated Israel. And I didn't know all that stuff back then. I didn't understand about Israel back then. But this how you treat Israel, you get the curse. When you curse them, you get cursed. It's not God cursing you, it's the devil. You open the door for Satan to attack. It's not God sending anything. God didn't kill those Marines, the devil killed them. But we couldn't. We didn't have the right to have protection because one nation under God wasn't under God anymore. We're over here importing false gods left and right, all right.
Speaker 1:So then in August it came out about President Clinton and his tryst in the Oval Office with his intern and he should have resigned. He didn't. He lied for a long time and then finally he was just confronted and he couldn't deny it. He bit his lower lip and the false prophets got around him and said oh, he's going to report to us, we'll take care of him.
Speaker 1:At the famous prayer breakfast I got up in my pulpit and I rebuked all of it from the pulpit in that first building. I said that's not God and they're not men of God to do that. That's wrong. I had people leave the church because they're more Democrat than they are Christian. You got to get over that stuff. I mean, well, god's not a Democrat, no, but he has a side and we have to get on it. And right now the Republicans are the best. They're not perfect by any means, but you still have to make a choice. When you don't make a choice, you've made a choice. Are y'all with me now? I'm talking about milestones that this church has had in its past that we have held on to until this day. And so judgment see judgment is exposure of sin. I mean he did that in secret, but everybody knew it, his daughter knew it, his wife knew it. I mean there's no hiding Bill, they knew it anyway. Not exactly discreet, all right. And then the next, you know, just a few months later, pastor Osteen went to heaven. That was a milestone. I had a visitation from God and I got a mandate and I got an inheritance that night when he passed. And then, five weeks after he passed, I got my first really major thing that God told me to do. He said wake up the church. March of 1999, march the 1st Wake up the church. They're asleep in their beds.
Speaker 1:He was a military voice. He was not pleasant to listen to. He sounded like a sergeant. That is really angry. Of course he's not a sergeant, but generals don't usually speak in bad terms. It's usually the drill instructor, right, pete? Pete knows how to talk like that. Never talked to me like that, but I know he could. He's got it in him. Wake up the church. I mean, there was no, maybe. I didn't even know how they were asleep. I didn't know how I was asleep. I knew it applied to me too.
Speaker 1:But it's about Israel. We don't know about Israel. A hundred million people don't know that Israel has a covenant with God and God is going to fulfill his covenant. Don't mess with Israel, don't hold back their weapons. Thank God he released some bombs. He gave them some bombs. They needed the bombs six months ago. They would have leveled Gaza. They had a plan to completely destroy Gaza and rebuild it and get rid of all the tunnels, and we wouldn't let them. Boy, you see, we've still got judgment hanging over our heads right now, and the only way it's going to get corrected is obey God. You've got to pray for our president, you've got to pray for his administration, all right. So he told me to wake up the church. Well, you know, nobody listened. I mean, I preached it. People just didn't know what I was talking about. So this is March of 99.
Speaker 1:Then, in June of 01, just not very long after that, I had what I call a tsunami dream. In the tsunami dream, I'm driving down the beach. It's a tsunami comes. I'm afraid. I just know I'm going to be crushed under the weight of this tsunami comes. I'm afraid, I just know I'm going to be crushed under the weight of this tsunami. I had no care at all until I looked out in the ocean. Here it's coming. Big tsunami, 50, 60 foot tall, curled over. It, gets over my car and I'm in the shade of it and I'm thinking, oh well, I'm dead now that's it.
Speaker 1:In the dream, I'm just sweating, I'm man. In the dream, I'm just sweating, I'm man, and suddenly I'm on top of the wave, I'm being thrust forward and I wake up and I'm reminded of the words of John G Lake. The same wave that brings the glory brings destruction. See, revivals always bring judgment too. You can't get a harvest until you separate the chaff from the wheat. You can't get a harvest with the tares. You've got to get rid of the tares. Are you with me now? It comes part and parcel of every revival. Every wave of glory is going to separate you from the wicked. And so I started preaching that.
Speaker 1:And then, three months later, 9-11 happened. At first I thought, well, this happened without a warning. No, he warned me. In fact, he warned me in 1998. When I saw that tower in Houston with the glory going up and he said I'm going to judge corporate America, that's exactly where judgment fell. It fell at the center of our commerce in in America, at the twin towers, which, by the way, is the place where George Washington, in his first inaugural address, said that God is not going to smile on us unless we are under him, and we're one nation under God, he will not smile on us. He said that right there, on that site. And where did the towers fall? Right there, right there. And where else did judgment fall?
Speaker 1:Pentagon, see, they wanted to get the Capitol, they wanted to do the White House, but all they could do was do the Pentagon. And the Pentagon, by the way, is filled with a bunch of bureaucratic fools. It needs to be cleaned out. You've got to pray for our new Department of Defense, our Secretary of Defense. Shame on Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins and the Turtles. Shame on them. He won Alaska by 13 points. Lisa Murkowski has no excuse for not voting for Pete Hegseth. Hegseth, I'll get his name right one of these days. All right, I'm talking about these milestones that we've had in this church.
Speaker 1:So on that day, 9-11, gladys and I were headed to TBN to do the Praise the Lord program, the local program, and we had a prayer meeting right on the set and we knelt down and we repented on behalf of the country. We asked God to forgive us of our sin. We asked God to forgive us of our treatment of Israel. We asked God to forgive us for all the abortions that we've allowed in this country and some of the people that were guests. They didn't know what to think of that. They'd never heard that kind of praying, but they limped along with us.
Speaker 1:I just think about what an amazing opportunity that was To be able to speak over Houston. Be honest with you, that's the only reason I stayed. Going out to Channel 14 and Channel 22, which was Daystar, was the opportunity for my voice to go out over the city Because we never really got much out of it. It was always one way and finally God released me and I'm really glad to get rid of that whole thing because it was a lot of work. I never mailed it in.
Speaker 1:Gladys and I, we took a lot to prepare for all the. You know, when we first started going to channel 14, do you know the? The program was two and a half hours. It had five guests. You've never lived till. You've had to sit there on a set for two and a half hours and not go to the bathroom and not be able to move. And you've got to stay in the Holy Ghost and you've got to try to somehow someway find a thread of the Spirit in five different guests, four of which probably shouldn't even be there.
Speaker 1:Anyway, griping now, god, you keep the books. That's all I know. You keep the books, all right, all right. So everybody say milestones, so 9-11, that looks really bad. You know the country suffered financially. The stock market fell through the floor, but while that was happening. Our lien holder on our property that we bought made a whole bunch of money short in the stock market. He needed a tax write-off and that birthed our land miracle. We gave the 92.7 acres back. We had a million dollars cash in it. We gave it back to him and then he gave us this property that we're sitting on now and all these years later, we were able to sell the excess and pay this loan off Debt free. We've got 10 acres, 50,000 square foot under roof. I never had to hire anybody to come into your living room and twist your arm and ask you to pledge your life, your fortune, your 401k. Nobody had to do anything. Nobody was obligated to do anything. Everybody that gave in the building fund gave because they wanted to and it's paid for. I said it's paid for, and so you know. Then, january of 02, that's when we closed on this miracle, on this land miracle. See again all this praying, processing the plan of God.
Speaker 1:Another interesting time was in March of 2003. We were having a Sunday night service. God spoke to me. He says tell the people you're going to have an all-night prayer meeting next Wednesday night. Well, I hadn't told Gladys, I hadn't told anybody. I mean, what in the world? You want me to just announce it? Yeah, get them, tell them. Tell them. I said and it was kind of awkward, everybody looked at me like what? An all-night prayer meeting on Wednesday night. I said, well, if you can't stay all night, just come as long as you can, but we're going to be here all night. Wednesday night we're going to pray I didn't know why, and we're in the Seventh-day Adventist church. So we get there. How many ever were in that all-night prayer meeting? We've got a bunch of hands, now more hands, and so we show up.
Speaker 1:We had hardly gotten started, 7.30, wednesday night. We had hardly gotten started. We got news that our boys had landed in Iraq. We were praying while they landed in Iraq and the vaunted Red Guard of Saddam Hussein were absent. They were hiding, they were looking for a hole to get into. They did not want to face our guys. And of course we know that war was a horrible war, but we were praying.
Speaker 1:I went to the Army surplus store. I bought me a camouflage outfit. I had some Army boots and I had my hat. I had my five-star General Brass on my collar. I was General Schwarzkopf that evening. How many I was General Schwarzkopf that evening.
Speaker 1:How many of you remember General Schwarzkopf? I don't know what happened to him, but anyway we did our job. It's regional center stuff. I mean, god, you think about a little church? Nobody ever heard of it. They didn't even know we were there. We're in the 7th nature. We can't even put our sign up Except Sunday. By that time, if anybody's looking for a church, they already found one. They're not looking. Sunday Milestone.
Speaker 1:Another Wednesday night In 2010,. I'll fast forward a little bit. We were here and they were supposed to vote on Obamacare and Wednesday night God said let's turn to Wednesday night in the prayer. Pray against it, cry against it. We cried against Obamacare. Remember Pelosi? We've got a 2300 page bill Nobody's read. You have to pass it before you know what's in it. She'll get hers, they'll all get theirs.
Speaker 1:Pastor, that's mean, I know. I feel mean. I'm righteously indignant that we have allowed this kind of garbage to go on. They ruined our health care. It's still ruined. The Republicans didn't do any better. We had Paul Ryan. Don't ever forget. We've got rhinos we've got to get rid of, and even though Trump wanted to get rid of it, he couldn't get enough cooperation in the first part of his term and then we lost the House and the Senate, so Trump didn't get to do half of anything he wanted to do, thanks to the trump derangement syndrome. I wonder how that's going with all of them.
Speaker 1:So we prayed against it and while we were praying I saw dominoes falling. You ever see one of these big things with how many of them were here that night and you remember the dominoes falling? So you know, you see these dominoes and they got a hundred thousand of them and they, they. It takes 15 minutes for them to fall and they go all around and they go up and down and in and out. That's what I saw when we prayed. I said the dominoes are falling. Well, did pastor? It passed the next day? God didn't. Now you've got to understand it. We're not responsible for the results. We're responsible to pray and cry against.
Speaker 1:Jeannie Wilkerson, which was a prophetess and a powerful prayer warrior that Brother Hagen was connected to, had a vision one time of the prayers of the saints and she saw this prayer book in heaven, and she just saw that when men on earth resist the prayers of the saints, it becomes their judgment. It gives God permission then to come. See, god just doesn't do everything by himself. We're partners with him. He's waiting on us to pray. He's waiting on us to engage the enemy. He's waiting on us to hear an utterance from heaven and pray that out, and then it opens him up to be able to come and deal with people.
Speaker 1:And let me tell you something we're seeing the dominoes. I mean they've fallen all over. They're eating each other alive. They're criticizing each other. All of their corruption has been exposed. The whole COVID thing is exposed as a fraud, even the voting. I mean they wouldn't let us talk about the vote being stolen, but now they can't stop us because it was stolen and Facebook doesn't dare censor us now. They gave a million dollars into the inauguration fund. All of them did. They're over there licking his boots. They're trying to do anything they can not to get crushed. Listen, we voted, say God.
Speaker 1:Things have changed now, but the battle's not over. We still got a lot to do. Are y'all getting anything? I'm taking my time, but it's our 30th anniversary and I I want to reminisce about some of the great things that many of you don't know about. You just got here not long ago Some of you maybe a few months or a few weeks, or some of you maybe even a couple of years, maybe just since COVID, but still you need to know. This church didn't just you know start doing this last week. We've been doing it forever for 30 years and we're beginning to see the milestones. When we got a testimony, the dominoes are falling now. I expected them to fall the next day, but it's taken a while. Them to fall the next day, but it's taken a while. So this corruption has been exposed. Light is shining on incompetence.
Speaker 1:I just almost I couldn't decide whether to cry or laugh watching Trump at the round table in Los Angeles. I mean, it was just, it was a delight, and I alternated between having tears and laughing, tears and laughing. He just made all of the tree huggers look like complete idiots and one of them was whining about State Farm leaving. You know well, you're impossible to deal with. They left because they can't deal with you. You're crazy Junkyard dog. Didn't I tell you he was a junkyard dog? That's what he is A junkyard dog bites and doesn't relax, he just stays on it.
Speaker 1:Like that God's wisdom is being brought to bear to solve huge problems. I mean, I watched Hannity the other night. Hannity's trying to proceed. And it goes on and on and on. About all the trouble.
Speaker 1:He said, well, it's all solvable, he just wouldn't even buy it. He wouldn't buy it into how bad it was. He just said, oh, it's all solvable, he has such, he's a Word of Faith preacher. He wouldn't buy it into how bad it was. He just said, oh, it's all soluble, he has such. He's a word of faith. He's a word of faith preacher. He's an apostle. I know he's not. I know he's barely saved. I know he cusses. I know he. You know he has his. He's a billion, multi-billion, I don't know. There's never been anybody like him. Do you doubt God sent him? Do you doubt that god saved him from assassination twice, probably more than that, with the feckless secret service? They wanted to kill him, they wanted he, they wanted him dead. I can say that without a fear of being censored. Now, praise god.
Speaker 1:So, um, to wind this up, give yourself to prayer and meditation right now. You ought to meditate on this word, meditate on the prophecy, meditate on the messages and get this revelation of the king's anointing. The kingdom of God is made up of kings and lords. It's just so simple and really they don't teach that much. At much church they just teach you that you're a victim and you just got to put up with a lot of mess and it's just how it is. No, we're to rule and to reign and we do it individually and we must do it corporately. We must do it corporately and all these years, gladys and her Thursday night, and then for a little while I had a Tuesday morning prayer group that I had selected people Not just anybody could be in that prayer group.
Speaker 1:Well, why not? Because you're dealing with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, wicked spirits and heavenly places that if you are not a mature Christian and you don't know how to put on the whole armor of God, you bring yourself into a place of repercussion. I knew a lady that just got a revelation of Israel and she had a really wonderful revelation of the inner ring nation, psalm 83. And she was a real prayer warrior and she died of brain cancer because she got out alone out into the spirit realm dealing with areas without a proper covering. Her husband was weak, he was not, you know, called himself a pastor, but he wasn't really just a businessman. Well, you know, you're kind of exposed. You really don't have any business covering that. You're not anointed.
Speaker 1:I'm standing in an office that comes with an equipment and it didn't. It didn't, it wasn't there to begin with. It's just been given, given, given, given, given, given, new anointing, new anointing, fresh anointing, new anointing till 2025. Now we're dealing with the anointing it takes. I'm going to leave you with one more thing, one more prophecy that I've almost left out.
Speaker 1:I was in my study in May of 2018. I'd had open heart surgery in January. I had recovered enough to come to church on Sunday morning and preach, but I still hadn't gotten back full, into full preaching schedule and, to be honest, I'm just still just getting over. I mean, there's just a lot of things to get over physically. But I'm in my study at home, praying in the Holy Ghost for over an hour, hour and a half, and as I was praying it took an hour hour and a half I began to see this look like a field and there was on the far side of the field from where I was looking at it. And there was on the far side of the field from where I was looking at it. There was this 10, 12-foot tall wall covered over with brambles and briars and vines, real thick. And I'm looking at it and I'm wondering what it is. And suddenly out of the wall comes a door begins to open toward me, hinged on the left, and the right side is swinging this way toward me, and I can see through the door into another field behind that wall. And the Holy Ghost spoke to me in a prophetic word and I have it on my iPhone and he said I'm about to open a door that's been reserved for you. No one has walked through this door. It's yours, it's reserved for you and you will walk through that door and you will preach my gospel in the regions beyond.
Speaker 1:Paul talked about the regions beyond. Well, this is a regional center. So God is talking about regions beyond. I mean, I'm just a little bit. You talk about startled. I mean my jaw dropped. I'm just getting over an open heart. Hey, hey, lord, have you noticed? I mean I'm just getting over an open heart surgery. You're talking about all this that's left to do.
Speaker 1:He had already told me he'd reset my clock. He told me I've reset your clock. Remember, you know, at the end of a football game, you know the two minute warning they're going down the field. You know, please reset the clock to a minute 14 seconds that God reset my clock, or otherwise I'd have gone to heaven. My clock had run out, my time had expired, so I had that word. But now he's given me regions beyond. He said you're going to preach my gospel to people who have not heard it. They're eating up with religious tradition. Religion and tradition. That's what he said. Religion and tradition is pretty much what you've got in our state legislators. I'm telling you that's the regions beyond. We're just now getting into the regions beyond and I know it's going to go all 50 states. Maybe it'll go to Greenland, maybe it'll go to Canada, maybe it'll go to Panama. So let's be bold to rule over our dominion. And then let's be bold to rule over our dominion.
Speaker 1:The prayer that's being made on Thursday. I go back to Tuesday. I did disband the Tuesday. God spoke to me, said they're on front lines and they need to rest. And we've had a couple of our ladies that were real heavily, and Nancy was the head of that and she went to heaven. So I mean sometimes I have to think, well, did I get her off of the front lines soon enough? I don't want to make you afraid to pray, I'm just telling you the gravity of what we're doing.
Speaker 1:The apostolic has got danger. It's an arduous task to do what we're doing. It takes all hands on deck. Nobody can just come in here and just go and leave. You're going to have to get involved, like the guy that was the janitor out at NASA when John F Kennedy visited. He said what are you doing, sir? What's your job here? He said I'm helping. Put a man on the moon. He didn't say I'm sweeping the floor, see, he had a vision of what he really was. That's what you're going to have to get, and you get that in prayer. I said you get that in prayer. I said you get that in prayer.
Speaker 1:Wait on the Lord to show you where and how to stand against the enemy. I know some of yours got all kinds of issues. You've got financial issues, you've got health issues, you've got family issues, children issues, marriage issues. You've got all kinds of challenges and sometimes compounded several things at once and the devil's working overtime to try to steal your hope, to tell you well, it's hopeless. There's just no use in keeping on. It's not working for me. It's not working. Yes, it is working if you don't quit. If you don't quit, we're here because we didn't quit. Gladys is here because she won't quit. Wait on the Lord. When I say wait on him, I mean minister to him. Wait doesn't mean sit and wait. It means minister to the Lord, worship him, praise him.
Speaker 1:Pray in tongues. Develop your praying in tongues to where you can pray an hour or two without stopping. It's hard to do. You're going to have to turn your phone off, turn your computer off. You have to shut the door. You have to draw a circle around your chair. Whatever it takes, get up early. Stay up late. Maybe you're a night person. Stay up late early. You're a night person. Stay up late early. But develop your prayer life so that you'll know, show you where, how to stand against the enemy, what his strategies are, get his perspective. We do the believing, he does the performing.
Speaker 1:2025, we're going to see many milestones and we'll have many testimonies. Come on, lift your hands and receive today. Glory to God, hallelujah, hallelujah, praise God. Well, I hope I'm not. I hope I didn't make you late for lunch. No, we went over time. I know sometimes we try to keep our services at a certain length for everybody, but on a special occasion like this, I don't apologize. How many of you got something out of it, amen.
Speaker 1:I think, as you meditate and listen to it, it's the kinds of messages that you listen to over and over, and when you do, you'll hear things you didn't hear the first time and you'd be surprised. You may hear something that will change your life that you didn't hear the first time. It's amazing, because these messages are prophetic. Remember this. You know one of the words we got way back and when we were in the seventh day church I said this once before I don't remember whether it was Sunday morning, sunday night, but when we were in the seventh day Adventist church. You'll see some pictures of that church.
Speaker 1:It's a nice little church, but they're there on Saturday, we're there on Sunday and we we always felt like we were not very welcome and I think the only person that really did welcome us was their, their head, uh, elder that really did welcome us was their head elder, dr Pagani. He's the one that made the deal with me and collected our money and made the deposits in their bank account and I'll be honest, I think if it weren't for our rent money that we paid, which at the end was $16,000 a month just want y'all to know what it costs dollars a month. Just want y'all to know what it costs. At one time we had a thirty one thousand nine hundred dollar payment on this, right here. How would you like to have that mortgage? Well, you did. You had that mortgage. You weren't, you weren't responsible for it, but we've done business in great waters.
Speaker 1:But anyway, getting back to Seventh-day church, we had a word and really when we moved out of the church down the street I felt like a dog that had been whipped in his tails, between his legs. You ever whip a dog, and you know, and he's just feeling bad, his tail between his legs, he's shivering, don't hit me. And you just hit him with a newspaper. He's not hurt, but he thinks he's hurt. He heard all that racket. You know, I don't believe in beating dogs, but I mean with a newspaper. You know, that's how I felt.
Speaker 1:I felt like I'd been whipped with a whip, not a newspaper. I mean I had people leave the church. They lost people that I loved, that I thought were for us, and they left and I mean just, you know, kind of a bonfire. They and him fell and killed all those students. And I'm an Aggie, I worked on that bonfire, claire worked on the bonfire.
Speaker 1:You know, it kind of was just that atmosphere was bad and we had a guy stand up. He was a prophet and he said this is a house of royalty and majesty, this is an apostolic house with a prophetic river. Well, thank God, I mean, I knew that, but I couldn't really. I had no evidence of it. I couldn't really. I had a hard time saying what we were because it didn't look like it. I'm not bragging on me, I don't have anything. He didn't give me, but he gave it and that's what we are. So these messages are a prophetic river. They're like a prophecy. This whole message this morning is like a prophecy. You can do battle with it. Well, you know God, you did this for glorious way church. You'll do this for me. Well, you know God, you did this for Glorious Way Church. You'll do this for me. You know God, you did this for them.
Speaker 1:At this point in time, I see the dominoes falling on this situation. In Jesus' name, hallelujah, let's lift our hands. Father, we thank you today. For 30 years, we give you honor and glory and power. Majesty, it's all to your glory. It's not for ours, it's yours. The way we can give you glory is to rule and reign and take dominion.
