2025 - The Year Of Milestones

Pastor John Greiner

Explore the prophetic promises awaiting us in 2025, a year envisioned as "exceeding abundantly above" for believers everywhere. We'll guide you through the spiritual significance of Psalm 92 and 1 Timothy, Chapter 1, as we prepare for a year marked by divine grace and fresh anointing.

Speaker 1:

Let's wave our Bibles around. Make Jesus glad, the devil mad. Say this together. Say, heavenly Father, I'm glad to be here today. I'm starting off 2025 worshiping you in spirit and in truth Because, father, your word says that you seek those worshipers, and so you found one. I'll be found worshiping you, not in vain, but in spirit and in truth. I'll be found worshiping you not in vain, but in spirit and in truth. I'll give you all the glory in Jesus name, amen. I've got a couple of places for you to turn in your Bibles. The first one is Psalm 92, and also find 1 Timothy, chapter 1. And we'll get into the Word together.

Speaker 1:

A psalmist is writing in verse 10. He said but my horn shalt thou exalt, talking that God's going to exalt his horn, my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn. I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Everybody shout fresh oil. All right, and we turn over to 1 Timothy, chapter 1, and I'll read verse 17 first. Verse 17 and 18. Now, unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise, god, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies, everybody shout prophecies. According to the prophecies which went before on thee that thou by them, that is, by the prophecies might warrest a good warfare.

Speaker 1:

And so today I wanted to talk about 2025, the year of milestones, and where it came from, why we, why we focusing. Really it goes all the way back to really the beginning. God would give us prophetic words about the year for, or what the year was about. And you know, sometimes you see people come up with words and I'm not being critical, but sometimes it's just kind of made up like a slogan, you know. But you know God has the real. You know he got prophetic pronouncements over periods of time that we need to pay attention to so we can anchor our faith for the year, because anytime God's got a plan, the devil's got a plan too. Doors and devils go together. When God opens a door, there's a devil there to stop you from going through. So we need faith, we need to anchor our faith, and so I want to start this morning by reading the prophecy that I had on January the 5th, that I delivered on Sunday morning, and some of you were here, some of you weren't here, and we're going to give you a link soon where you can click on the link on the website and get the prophecy for yourself and listen to it, or print it out, or however you want to do it, but I'll read it and that way you'll have it in this message. I'm going to make it part of this message because this is what we're talking about.

Speaker 1:

This prophetic word came from some things that God had gave me when I went to Galveston on the second I went to, I went to set on the second, on Thursday, the second. So, uh, let me just read the prophetic word. It says the word of the Lord comes unto me saying many have run to and fro, many have been discouraged. Fears overtaken, confusion, despair. But I say unto you this day lift up your head and look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.

Speaker 1:

2025 will be a year of exceeding abundantly above. It will be a year of grace upon grace. It will be a year where I will release a fresh anointing over you, even a new anointing that you have not yet experienced. Saith the Lord, that will cause you to be startled at what I will do, for I am tired of my people being startled about the enemy, startled about what he has done and what he has displayed, and I'm about to display myself, through my church in such a way that the whole world will be startled. I will cause them to catch their breath at what I will do. Yes, 2025 is going to be a year of milestones, for your faith has not waned over 30 years. You have stood the course, you have kept the faith. You have processed my plan in prayer. You have been patient to wait for the fulfillment that is coming in the year of 2025, the year of milestones, saith the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Well, let's just go ahead and shout over that word. I believe that's a good word. Now, the way that that word came is a little unusual, because usually I go to Galveston for that purpose, to find out what the word is, and I came back without it. Really, I came back with Psalm 9210. I came back with some information, but you know, many, many times when I go to Galveston, it takes me a few days to marinate and process what I heard and saw. Me a few days to marinate and process what I heard and saw, and this was no different with all the things that are going on in our lives. Personally, you know, I'm I don't always have, I'm not always zoned right in, but I depend on the Holy ghost. The Holy ghost always comes through and for me on that Sunday morning after which was the fifth, during praise and worship. I was right there and as we were worshiping I think it was on the second song I saw like myself on the freeway or like on the interstate, rather looking at mile markers go by.

Speaker 1:

You know, back in the 70s, you know we had CB radios. That was before we had cell phones and we had all of that. You know we had CB radios and as a home builder, you know I needed to talk to my subs early in the morning because there's no way to contact them during the day. They're at work, they might be on a different job than my job. I don't know where they are. They're supposed to be on my job. They're not there. Where are they? I can't find out. And so, you know, we had a big old 30-foot base station antenna at our office and had, you know, the lady was hired to be a bookkeeper and she wound up having to be in a radio operator and, you know, have to talk to all the builders that would call the office on the CB radio had a five mile range. I mean we could, you know we could contact the office, you know, didn't have a phone. It's unhandy to go find a pay phone all the time. So the CB radio was really a good substitute poor substitute, you know as it turned out, but we had one.

Speaker 1:

But mile markers, rick, you know, when you're driving down the interstate you're breaker, breaker, one, nine. I'm at mile marker one, seven, two. There's a county mountain there. You know all this lingo that they used to Smokey Smokey's there. You know the hat that they wear, smokey and the Bear. Anyway, we had all that lingo, and so I was hearing during worship, you know, I'm seeing these mile markers, and the Holy Ghost spoke milestones, year of milestones. See, that was my word, that was the word that I went to Galveston to receive, and it came on Sunday morning. So then I was able to prophesy this prophecy, and in this prophecy we talk about the year of exceeding abundantly, above and all that, and I'll get into that where that came from. So, um, a mile marker.

Speaker 1:

So when you look up the word, uh, milestone, uh, it means more than just um, um, a stone image of a mile or a, you know, to tell you how far something is. It means an important event in the history or development of something or someone. It means a landmark, a turning point, a watershed moment, a tipping point. And so you know, you can look on your own life and see milestones. I mean when you entered, you know, kindergarten, you know that's a milestone. When you graduate high school, that's a milestone. When you get married, if you get married, that's a milestone. Your first child is a milestone. You know there's lots of milestones in our life, things that everything changes when this occurs. And so, personally and corporately, we're going to see a harvesting of seeds that we've planted, and he refers to 30 years where we've kept the faith, we have stayed on course, these. He's talking to us as a body, he's talking about this church. We're going to celebrate our 30th anniversary next Sunday. Officially. Last year, all year, was our 30th year that we were living out, but now, according to, according to the calendar, january 29th, 1995, that's our 30th anniversary. That's a milestone. So not only is 2025 a year of milestones, 2025 is a milestone year in this church's history.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot of churches that were around this area when we started and they're gone. But we're here. I said we're here and it's no small part because of the prophecies or the prophetic words or sometimes the spectacular guidances that we've received over the years as we started this church. We started this church just wanting to be a local church, wanting to, you know, obey the office of the pastor. I saw myself as a pastor. I said that's what I am and that's you know.

Speaker 1:

My pastor told me I was a pastor. I didn't say it by myself. He recognized the gift long before I occupied the official office and all of that. But, you know, god has added to our anointing. I've walked into new anointings along the way, anointings that I never had had before. And that's what God does. When you keep going with God, when you go on with God, god will introduce you into new anointings. He'll freshen the one you have, but he will give you new anointings that you never knew you had or never experienced. I should say it that way. So in the history of GWC, 2025, it marks a watershed, or a tipping point, and it's a landmark year.

Speaker 1:

So when I was in Galveston you know I'm praying and meditating on the Word and I thought 2025, because, you know, hebrew is a numerical language. Many times, you know, if you look up a Hebrew word, it's numbers, it's numbers. Numbers are important and sometimes I have a hint about a number that will kind of give me the hint of what God wants to do that year. So I I looked up a Bible numbers on 2025. And of course it's a combination of the number 20, which is um, uh, the the number of redemption, and of course number five, which is the number of grace or favor, and so you put those together. It's grace upon grace. So that came out in our prophetic word. It's the number of exceeding abundantly above. That came out in our word. That it's the number of exceeding abundantly above. That came out in our word that we had Sunday morning, that I drew on what I got the previous week. And then another interesting fact about 2025, the number 25 is a biblical number.

Speaker 1:

It's repeated in the Bible a lot, you know, as opposed to like 28 or 33 or something like that 25, the Holy Spirit is mentioned 25 times in the Gospels and even though they didn't really know much about the Holy Ghost, I mean, you know, jesus didn't teach on the Holy Ghost till John, chapter 14, right before he was crucified, he talked to him about the Holy Ghost. I'm going to send another comforter. You know, even the spirit of truth will live and abide with you forever and so forth. And so then, you know, as I was reading my Bible that day in my hotel room in Galveston you know, I always wait and I read my Bible when I'm there, and I just you know, and of course that was the second day of January, so I read Psalm 2. I teach you how I follow the Bible along. And so, on the second day of the month, I read Psalm 2, 32, 62, 92, and 92, 10.

Speaker 1:

Boom, there it was. It was a rhema word God shall exalt my horn like the horn of a unicorn. He shall anoint me with fresh oil. So you start looking up, and so I started digging into that word. As I kept praying in the Holy Ghost, I dug into my concordance. It's good to study the Bible, it's good to study the word.

Speaker 1:

Thank God for iPhones. I don't have to carry a big old concordance with me. I've got an iPhone that big and it's got, you know, all the concordances that I can count in. There I can look up what the Greek or the Hebrew word is. And so the word horn there is really a symbol of strength.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it means an animal horn, the horn of a unicorn. What's a unicorn? Well, it's not. It's very difficult to translate the word unicorn. It's a mythical animal, a mystery, but it means a very fierce and strong animal. He's going to anoint my horn like the horn of a unicorn. See, that means there's combat, that means there's strength to oppose an enemy. He will exalt it, he will magnify it, he will strengthen it. And how will he do it? He will strengthen it by a fresh or a new. The word fresh also means new anointing, and that's the history of this church. God has granted this church a corporate anointing, a new anointing over the years to do things that he mandates.

Speaker 1:

You know, he didn't tell me to wake up the church in 1995. He didn't tell me to wake up the church in 1996. He did tell me that this was a regional center, but I didn't know what that meant. He said well, lakewood was a regional center. So I understood a little bit. I understood.

Speaker 1:

A regional center is not a local church. A regional center has membership that comes from a large area. We have something like 110 zip codes represented in this church who give on a regular basis. We consider them members of this church. One hundred and ten zip codes. That's a regional center, whereas a local church you might have four or five max. You know, a local church is just local. I mean, it's not a destination for somebody. You know, somebody from Conroe is not going to drive to a local church in Champions, but somebody from Conroe will drive to a regional center when God assigns them to us. Like Jimmy and Destiny, they drive all the way from Conroe. We have other people drive all the way from Conroe. We have people drive from Atoska City. We have the Trawicks drive all the way from Lake Conroe even further. Why? Well, because they're assigned here and it's a regional center.

Speaker 1:

I laugh when I'm looking for a church close to my house. Well, I'm. You know we're not close to a whole lot of people that come here every week. I wasn't close to Lakewood but I drove 28 miles each way, wore out three cars. The last car I wore out it was, I mean, texas Air Quality Board, you know, sent me an email saying you were reported on 610 emitting a large amount of smoke. I wore the diesel out. It was just smoking. You know, like, please have it fixed. Well, it was too expensive to fix. I just wasn't too long after that I got I replaced it.

Speaker 1:

So the horn is a symbol of strength. The unicorn is a mystical bull. You know I think about this bull. You know, bull, I get in my Facebook feed. Sometimes I'll get African wildlife animals. You know videos. You know, and I was watching this one video of a Cape buffalo Cape buffalo massive animal and they got these horns, a big, old, thick layer of horns, right over their skull and it curves out like this, comes to a point and they weigh anywhere from two to three thousand pounds. They are massive and they're tough. They're high. Lions will jump on them and it takes a pride of lions to pull one down, but they do attack the calves. So a mama will have a calf and the calf is tender and even the calf is tough.

Speaker 1:

I mean, in this video I saw a male lion. This male lion is massive. He's got a huge jaw, much bigger than the female. It weighs at least 600, maybe close to 800 pounds and he's clamped his mouth around this little calf and the calf is squalling and mama's right there and I've seen videos where the mama tries to hook the little calf and get it up on its feet while it's still in the mouth of the lion. Well, that's the wrong strategy. This mother had an IQ, a little smarter IQ. She hooked the lion right here in his chest. She hooked that lion and threw him up in the air and he turned a somersault and landed on his side and she hooked him again. She hooked him about four times until he was mortally wounded. She killed him.

Speaker 1:

They'll do that, the Cape Buffalo. You just don't mess with them. If you're going to go Cape Buffalo hunting, you better have an elephant gun, because if they come at you you're going to die. And people do die. I mean, they run at you. And of course we're familiar with rhinoceros, very similar rhinoceros. They've got that big horn. You think about that. So the horn is a symbol of our strength, but it's a symbol of our weaponry. Are you with me now?

Speaker 1:

And so when I looked up the passion translation, we could say it this way you've empowered my life for triumph through a fresh anointing or through a new anointing. God's idea is for us to triumph over everything the devil tries to throw in our way in this landmark year. So we're entering into a season of great triumph because of a new anointing. You see, zechariah 4, 6 is not by might, nor by power or by army, but by my spirit, saith the Lord, it's the Holy Ghost. I'm telling you, you get the mind of the Holy Ghost and you become more God inside minded. Stir your faith up right here in the early part of 2025. Your faith in the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost, I mean the greater one lives in you to put you over. It doesn't matter how crazy it looks, how terrible it looks. God's the God of the impossible. Everybody say fresh anointing or new anointing.

Speaker 1:

You know, back when I began to, you know pursue. I started when I got saved. I pursued ministry but I'm just a baby Christian so I couldn't pursue ministry ministry. I just pursued the ministry of helps. I started helping. I helped anywhere I could help. But then by the mid-80s I began to be used somewhat and then I got to preaching a little bit here and there every great once in a while. I was president of Full Gospel Businessmen and I'm kind of in the ministry a little bit more and I'm going along. And then in 1987, we're really ministry-minded. I know that I'm a pastor, I know that I've got to pursue that. I'm a little concerned about my wife and I went to the Lord. I said, lord, you know she's my wife. She needs to be anointed in some area that will compliment my life. I said she's delightful, she remembers names, she's never met a stranger, she's outgoing. All of those things are great. But I mean, I need something from you.

Speaker 1:

So one night we were in a church over in Liberty County, not Liberty, oh, is it Liberty County Brother? What was his name? Billy Brim was having a meeting in brother. Help me out, it's part of my testimony, I can't remember his name. Anyway, so we were just at a meeting. It was like during the week, because every other Wednesday night we're at Lakewood, sunday morning, sunday night we're at Lakewood. You know we're not visiting around churches, but this was Billy Brim had come to church to come to town and we'd followed Billy. We knew Billy Brim and knew her ministry and and uh, gladys had been to some of her meetings and and stuff even before we started the church.

Speaker 1:

So we were in that meeting and uh, and and billy was ministering in the holy ghost, uh, and gladys kind of nudged me and her hands were in her laps like this, and she nudged me, she said look at my hands and and they were purple, and her right hand all the way to the bottom, where the fingers joined the palm, her entire palm was engorged in a dark purple, like a port wine blood mark or birthmark I should say a birthmark If you've ever seen a real dark port wine colored birthmark. That's what it looked like in the right hand. In the left hand it was similar but smaller. It was about twice the size of a silver dollar, about two inches in diameter, and they were on fire. They were uncomfortable, they were burning. She said my hands are burning, they hurt.

Speaker 1:

And so we're looking at that and I'm looking and here this young lady comes across the aisle and we knew her. Her father had gone with us on a missions trip that Lakewood Brother Dearman had taken us on a missions trip just a few months before this to Mexico, to Saltillo, and her dad went with us. We got to know him and this was his daughter, who was a pastor's wife in Winnie, texas, and we had met her briefly, we didn't know her well, and she came over and she says what's going on over here? She walked in behind the pew behind us. We're kind of sitting close to the back. We didn't want to attract any attention, but we're sitting there going.

Speaker 1:

What in the world is going on with these hands? Why are they burning? Why are they purple? It was amazing. And she said what's going on over here? I said look at her hands, they're burning. She said well, so you're the one I prayed for all afternoon. And she said you know, I was standing in my kitchen sink washing dishes and suddenly my hands started burning and I thought maybe I mixed up some bleach into the dishwashing liquid and I started washing my hands and it didn't help and suddenly I realized I was in intercession. So I dropped on my face and I laid on my kitchen floor and I went into what is known, as you know, travail. Anybody know what travailing in prayer is. That's what Paul did for the Galatians. She travailed. She said I knew I was giving birth to something, but I didn't know what it was. She said my hands burned for several hours and I laid on my kitchen floor. So you were the one that I was praying for.

Speaker 1:

So we decided we better go up and and you know it was kind of awkward, you know, nobody was going up, but we went up, we walked up front, nobody stopped us, and I took her to Billy and I said, billy, look at her hands, they're burning. And you know Billy, billy is. You know she, she has those eagle eyes. You know when she looks at you. You know she looked at Gladys's hand. She looked at her. She looked at me. She looked at Gladys's hand, she looked at her. She looked at me just like this three times and I thought is she going to kick us out of the meeting? What's going to happen? She said that's God, that's God. Well, see, god granted a new anointing on Gladys. It's coming back. By the way, she's coming back and it's coming back. It's taken a little, you know, vacation for a couple of years, but it's coming back.

Speaker 1:

Everybody say a new anointing. And I mean you know, from that day forward, I mean the anointing on that, on her life. I mean we were, we were regularly up front laying hands on the sick. That was part of our job as as a prayer partners at Lakewood. But I mean nobody could stand up.

Speaker 1:

She laid hands on them, they were on the floor and as years went on, you know they didn't want anybody to fall. They told us don't let them fall. So one time she tried to catch the person, I said, look, she can't catch anybody. Don't, don't do that. I mean if you can't have somebody to catch the people. And by that time I had more influence and more favor and a little bit more authority. So I put my foot down at that rule, because that rule wasn't God, that rule was fear. And I said you know, you want to have that rule, but it's good, we'll sit down then, because she can't hold anybody up. It's not right. One time she fell right on top of the person you know, grabbed her and it was a miracle she didn't get hurt then. So they assigned just a catcher, just for Gladys. I mean, can you imagine that was kind of awkward, but God had a plan and a purpose.

Speaker 1:

This is before we started the church. I'm talking about a new anointing. All right, now let's look at 1 Timothy here, verse 1. So under the king eternal, verse 17,. Immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Then, right after that, he tells Timothy this charge I commit to thee, son Timothy, the word charge means mandate. I'm giving you a mandate and I'm entrusting it in your care. Son, there have been mandates that have been entrusted to me and my family in this church and God said you've been faithful over those mandates. You've been faithful, even though there didn't look like there was any evidence that anybody was listening to what your mandate said. I mean, for years I'm trying to wake up the church and nobody listened. I wrote a book. Nobody bought it. I went here, I went there, I talked to this preacher, I talked to that preacher. Nothing happened until 2014. And it happened in 99. God gave me that.

Speaker 1:

Wake up the church. They're asleep in their beds with the covers pulled over their heads. When I speak to them, they think it's the devil. Wake the church up. I had to find out what it was that they were asleep. Were. Wake the church up. I had to find out what it was that they were asleep. Were they asleep about Israel? They're asleep about the political world. I found out. I'm one of the very few that ever say anything.

Speaker 1:

I had said something in the 98 about Clinton. I said he hasn't repented. He should resign. What he did in the Oval Office is horrible and he's biting his lower lip. What a fake. And I said so and I lost some people. Some people were more Democrat than they were Christians and they walked out the door. They didn't like what I had to say about Clinton because they voted for him. Well, I'm sorry, it's time to wake up.

Speaker 1:

Remember when his wife used to say we believe, you know, in life and we believe that abortion should be available, safe and rare. Well, forget about rare, they don't want it rare, they want it full term. That's what they believe in. They believe, in fact, they believe in murdering the baby after it comes out of the womb If they don't approve of it. That's what they really believe, folks. They lied, they've been lying all along. They don't, they don't tell the truth about anything. Well, I'm, I'm one of the first to get get out there and I it was took till 2014. When I finally we went down to City Hall how many of you remember going to City Hall? Mayor Anise Parker, a lesbian. She was neutral all the way through her first term, but when she got her last term, she decided she's going to open women's bathroom to men. She was on the forefront of this whole transgender lie way back in 14, before anybody else was doing that.

Speaker 1:

And I got hooked up with Houston Area Pastors Council. We got hooked up, we gave a big offering and we got involved. We finally found some like-minded pastors that wanted to wake up the church Fifteen years after God told us to do it, are y'all with me now? Amen. 15 years after God told us to do it, are y'all with me now? So he says here this charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them might war a good warfare. The prophecies that went for.

Speaker 1:

Well, we don't know exactly what the prophecies were, but evidently when he was ordained, you know Timothy, even though he was young, he was an apostle. He was an apostle. He had local churches that he had birthed and was over and overseeing. Now, he wasn't in charge of those churches. When he went into town he didn't get the boss, the pastor, around, but he did. He was responsible for them. He would pour into these pastors, and so when Paul got in trouble and was arrested, well, then he became under, he came under criticism and, and you know, they attacked him.

Speaker 1:

Well, welcome to the club. Are y'all with me now? So these prophecies, you're supposed to take note of them. Yes, we've got a more sure word of prophecy, we've got the word of God. But then, on the other hand, god has got prophetic words, mandates, commands that he's entrusted us with. That we have to think about and meditate on so that we won't lose heart going forward, that we might, by them, war, a good warfare. What in the world? I thought Satan was defeated. Yes, he's defeated. What kind of warfare are we talking about?

Speaker 1:

The fight, the good fight of faith. Talking about the good fight of faith. We fight the good fight of faith.

Speaker 1:

Turn over to chapter 6, 1 Timothy 6. I'm talking about 2025. You're at milestones and I'm setting you up. It's going to take me additional time to share this with you, but it's worth it, because I believe the results are going to be so positive. It's not just because we've got a new president I thank God for that. We'll pray over him in a minute but it's not just because of that. God's given this country another opportunity. This country is under judgment. Don't forget that. There's judgment right now. We're hanging in the balance and if we don't take advantage of this time that God granted us, we're going to lose this country. That's how dangerous it is. All right, 1 Timothy 6, verse 12. Fight the good fight of faith. Now see, this is Timothy. He's still talking. This is the same letter he just wrote him about war and a good warfare.

Speaker 1:

I'll get back to that in a minute, because it means something more specific than what I said. Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called and has professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge. There it is again. The word charge is mandate. There it is again. The word charge is mandate.

Speaker 1:

I mandate you in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnesseth a good confession or profession. In other words, quit being afraid of man, quit worrying about their opinions. Rise up and stand up, lift up your head. Your redemption draws nigh. Don't be afraid of man and their opinions, don't be afraid of what names they make up to call you. I've been called every name you can. A guy came in my office. A member of my church called me a jackass. How would you like that he's not here anymore?

Speaker 1:

I charge you verse 14, that you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ, which in his times he shall show who is the blessed and only potentate, king of kings and Lord of lords, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach, unto whom no man hath seen, nor can see to whom be honor and glory and power everlasting, amen. Now, how are we going to give him honor and glory? By warring a good warfare? By taking the prophetic words that he has spoken specifically. See, these prophetic words are rhema words. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every rhema of God shall man live.

Speaker 1:

A prophetic word is nothing other than the equivalent of a rhema word. It's from God, just like this Bible is from God. That's why you ought to be careful about receiving prophecies from lulu birds that flutter around and went to a class and somebody taught them how to prophesy. But the devil only counterfeits the real. I said the devil only counterfeits the real. Just because there's counterfeit prophecies, just because there's flaky people running around thinking they're prophets and all of that stuff, there's flaky people running around thinking they're prophets and all of that stuff doesn't mean that there aren't true words from God, true prophetic words, true prophets, true apostles, true pastors Amen. Are y'all getting this now? So how, how can we really glorify God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? By walking and, you know, fighting the good fight of faith and and warring a good warfare.

Speaker 1:

When you look up war and warfare. It has to do with the apostolic. Really, the whole church should be apostolic. Apostle just means a sent one. Haven't we been sent? Didn't Jesus say go? Did Jesus say go? Then we're sent. So by definition, the entire church of Jesus Christ is an apostolic work. Shouldn't be that hard a word to grasp. But have we done that? Well, no, we've just. You know, this is part of waking up the church. The church has just got in their little clubs and they're just kind of a version of the rotary club and they just have little meeting and they get together and they have their sewing clubs. And it's not wrong to have a sewing club and a craft fellowship, it's not wrong to do all these things. But if that's all it is, then you haven't performed, you haven't warred a good warfare.

Speaker 1:

The devil's not afraid of sewing, he's not afraid of quilting, he's not afraid of. Are y'all with me? It sounds like I'm critical of those things. I'm not critical, I'm saying it's more than that. He said go. We have to go. It's a mandate. Go into all the world except the, except politics. Oh, that's dirty. No, don't go there. Go into all the world except China. Oh, don't go there. Go into all the world except Indonesia. Oh no, don't go there. It's just oh no, no, we go everywhere, especially where Jesus has not yet been known and Jesus has been forgotten in our state capitals. Are y'all with me now?

Speaker 1:

War, a good warfare, means to execute the apostolic. By meditating on the prophecies, you know, war means to execute the apostolic in all of its arduous duties. It's not easy to take territory. We took the flag of heaven in 2023 and planted it right in the middle of our capital, in Austin, and it wasn't easy, and we're going to do it again. It's coming up real soon and, boy, there's all kinds of resistance already mounting. Well, we were already out ahead of it in our prayer on Thursday nights. We planted the flag of heaven last year in Oklahoma and Louisiana. We're planting the flag of heaven in Maine, where they passed a law saying that it was okay. Full-term abortion nine months. They kill a baby, don't even care about viability. Viability used to be the word they would throw around, but no more. They don't even pretend, boy, you talk about the flag of heaven. They need the flag of heaven in Maine. They need the flag of heaven in Maine. They need the flag of heaven in Indiana. They need the flag of heaven in Michigan. They're on our list. Next, they need the flag of heaven in Georgia. Who would think Georgia would be that backslid? But they are. Are y'all getting this now?

Speaker 1:

I'm talking about things that God spoke to me when he gave me regional center. You know, I remember the star in the sky and it lit on the property I was looking at and I zoomed out and it became like a capital on a map. I said God, what are you doing? Are you making us a capital? This is June of 96. God, are you making us a capital? He said regional center. And look at us. It has to do with us going to the capitals of states in this nation and planting the flag of heaven. What did that take? It took a new anointing. We had to be faithful over things as we went, as we went, as we went, and now, in this milestone year, there is an increase. We were walking in a new anointing.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling you people are. They're excited when they hear about my God votes, which is I just signed the paperwork to make it a nonprofit corporation and it's an official nonprofit corporation. My God Votes and officially it's a church, you know, adjunct of Glorious Way, but it's a separate corporation. And now, for the first time in our history, people are excited about waking up. People are excited to hear about my God Votes. Oh my, that is really intriguing. I want to hear more. They could care less. 10 years ago, 15 years ago, 25 years ago, when God first told me to wake up the church, they didn't want to talk about it. Are y'all with me now? Everybody say new anointing.

Speaker 1:

I came across a prophetic word that we got in the year 2000 when we were in the Seventh-day Adventist church and the prophet was there that day. He said this church is a house of majesty and royalty. This church is an apostolic house with a prophetic river. Now, I had become more comfortable with the apostolic after Brother Osteen died, because that's what he was. I couldn't get him to ever admit it. He would never admit to be an apostle, but if I ever knew one, he was one. He was a father of fathers, he was a father of pastors, he was an. He was an apostle as much as anybody. He was an apostle to India, for, if nothing else, but more than that I mean, he was a forerunner. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1958, as a Baptist, as a Southern Baptist, way ahead of anybody. That's the definition of apostle is a forerunner. Oh, no, See that generation.

Speaker 1:

They hesitated. I don't hesitate, I don't have anything God didn't give me. I don't mind saying I'm an apostle, I don't care whether you like it or not, I'm an apostle. I magnify the office. It's the office, it's not me. I didn't earn it, I didn't do anything to get it. I mean he just gave it to me and then he gave me as a gift.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm a pastor, but you know, apostles do everything. Apostles are pastors, they're teachers, they're evangelists. You know, he told Timothy do the work of an evangelist. In 2 Timothy, do the work of an evangelist. I've done the work of an evangelist In India. I've done the work of an evangelist In Canada. I've done the work of an evangelist In Mexico. I've done the work of an evangelist in Mexico. I've done the work of an evangelist in, you know, philippines. So apostles, do they really? All five full ministries are wrapped up into the apostle. And so when Pastor Osteen passed and went to heaven, I received my inheritance and that anointing it was a new anointing that I wasn't familiar with came on me. Are y'all with me now.

Speaker 1:

Why am I talking about it? Because by those prophetic words we wore a good warfare. That's something we do corporately and that's something you have to do individually in your own life. So if he is the king of kings and the Lord of lords, then what does that make us See? We're the kings, he's the king of. We're the lords, he's Lord of.

Speaker 1:

So this whole idea of exalting my horn like a horn of a unicorn If you'll read your Bible, you'll many times see kings like the king of Persia, a vision of the king of Persia pushing against his neighbor with his horns. The Antichrist is pictured as having all these seven horns and he pushes against other nations with his horn, his strength. So it's it. The horn is a symbol of kingly authority. It's it's it's it's talking about royalty there. That's why God never did want Israel to have a king. God himself wanted to be Israel's king. They sinned greatly and they started downhill. After Saul, when they insisted on having a king, god said all right, you have it your way. And they went downhill from there and practically every king that they had very few of them succeeded. Most of them backslid over the period of time, some of them faster than others. There was a few that kept the faith till the end.

Speaker 1:

I was reading about Asa, which is Jehoshaphat's father. Asa started out really good and then, at the end he just got proud and, you know, started worshiping other gods. You know, he had started out, started out tearing all the idols down. He started out cleaning house and getting the people back on the word and doing a great thing. And then over many years he was king for a lot of many decades and toward the end of his life he got. You know, he depended on I think it was Syria to deliver him from the hand of the Northern Kingdom, him from the hand of the northern kingdom. He was the king of the southern kingdom and the northern kingdom was warring against the southern kingdom of Israel and so they were having trouble. So he asked Syria to help him and God said well, because you asked Syria, you didn't depend on me, war will not depart from your house. And so he had war after war, after war. And then he got diseased in his feet and he could have repented. Bible says he got diseased in his feet and instead of repenting he went to the physicians and he wound up dying. And here he started out so good.

Speaker 1:

That's just one example of many kings of Israel, I mean, you know. So, look, we're in the king of kings, we're in Christ. He's the king, we're the kings. Where is our domain? Right here, god is expecting us to rule in our domain, and so that's what we're doing through my God Votes and going through these capital worship, and we're doing it in cooperation with many other ministries. It's amazing, god.

Speaker 1:

I used to think building a barn for the harvest was building a church building. You know what I've come to believe? It's not so much a church building as it is this glorious connecting of ministries that are like-minded. And I mean we can't, any of us, do it all by ourself, but we're hooking up with people and I mean it's just amazing what God is doing. Oh, I'm telling you, revival is about to break out all over this country, but let me tell you we're in a. You're talking about a tipping point. We're at a tipping point right now. It could go either way, and so that's why we've got to keep pushing even harder than ever before. We've got to war, a good warfare. And what is our warfare? It's the good fight of faith. That's why I'm giving it to you. Your faith will be anchored in something specific.

Speaker 1:

Brother Hagin used to have people come up to him and say Brother Hagin, will you pray for me? He said, well, yeah, what do you need? He said, well, I thought you would know. He said, well, how would I know if you don't tell me? I mean, people are so stupid sometimes. He's a prophet, see, he's supposed to know everything. Well, no, that's not what prophets are. They don't know everything. Only God knows everything. He may or may not tell me what your problem is. Okay, what is your? What do you need prayer for? Well, I need prayer for such-and-such. And what scriptures are you standing on? I'm not standing on these scriptures. How can you pray with no scripture? How can you? How can you anchor? You don't have any faith to receive from God. You wouldn't know if he answered your prayer, since you don't even know what the word says about it. Are y'all with me now? That's why we're talking about these things.

Speaker 1:

We're going to talk about more prophetic words so that you can hook in on them and remember them. Some of you remember them, some of them are new to you because you just got here, but regardless, we all part alike, no matter whether you've been here a week or 30 years. So, uh, I want to just encourage you, uh, the uh uh for us to walk by faith this year and let's rule in our personal domain. A King has a domain. You can't rule over a nation if you've never ruled over your neighborhood. I just laugh at churches that want to pray over the nation and they haven't ever really prayed over the city. They don't stand for anything in the city of Houston, yet they want to have a word over the country. Well, forget about it. You don't even have the anointing to do that. You don't have the standing. The demons that are over this nation will laugh at you and say well, jesus is known and Paul I know, but who are you? But this church is getting a name of renown in the spirit realm and they know our name now, not because of us, but because of the anointing that's on this church. So let's rule in our personal domains.

Speaker 1:

Your body, rule over your body. Don't let it get sick. Demand sickness to leave. Don't let just anything happen to your body. It's the temple of the Holy Ghost. Rule over your mind. Number two Quit allowing every thought in the world to come across your mind. Quit feeding it garbage, quit looking at garbage and listening to garbage, because that will do all kind of terrible things to your thought. Life Rule over your family, rule over your children. Rule over your household.

Speaker 1:

Run the devil off. Sling the blood. Sling the blood everywhere. Get a cup of water and say, lord, make this water like the blood of Jesus. I do that in every hotel room. When I go in the hotel room, first thing I do is go in the bathroom and fill a glass of water and I start slinging blood over everything. No telling what's happened in that hotel room. I don't even want to think about what's happened there, and so I just start slinging the blood. I put the blood over the door. I put the patio door going out on the balcony. I sprinkle it all over the place. I consecrate that room for hearing from God. Well, you can do the same thing in your house. Don't let the devil rule there. Run him off. Rule over the church. Pray over Gladys and I.

Speaker 1:

Gladys is coming back. She's Sister Sparkle. She's going to sparkle again. In fact, she's coming next Sunday and she's going to help us celebrate our 30th anniversary. She's going to be here. She's getting better. She's going to be here. She's getting better, she's stronger, but she still needs assistance. So she's an assisted living home and it's hard to be apart. It's been months and man. We've never been through anything like that in our marriage, and so it's.

Speaker 1:

We need prayer. We just pray in the Holy Ghost. You know, just pray in the Holy ghost. You know, just pray in the Holy ghost. Pray in the Holy ghost. Rule over this church. Don't.

Speaker 1:

Don't lay when you, when you're here and you and somebody talks trash or says something that's critical or mean or something. We confront it. I empower you. This is your church. Oh well, I can't understand why you're upset. Let's join hands and pray right now. Shut up. You don't have to be ugly. You can be nice, but then just let them know.

Speaker 1:

You heard what they said. Have you ever seen anything like people will say on Facebook? They'll just say anything in the world on Facebook. They'll be the most condescending mean. In person they wouldn't have the guts to do that.

Speaker 1:

And then, finally, rule over your finances. Make your finances work for the kingdom. You're a distributor. See, that's part of the apostolic is distribution God wants to make you into. Convert you out of being consumers into distributors. Sure, you're going to have some consuming there's always bread for eating but there's seed for sowing and I believe many of us are going to move up to the next level of sowing our seeds. We're going to sow more than we've ever sown before and then we're going to have more coming back in than we've ever had coming back in. It's just what the Word says is going to happen. Glory to God.

Speaker 1:

2025, the year of milestones. As we come together, gwc will increase in the anointing to reap the end-time harvest. Come and lift your hands and receive the word of God today. Glory to God. Thank you, lord, for this year. We look with anticipation. We have a positive expectation of what you're going to do, because we know and we're reminded as we look back on this 30 years, that God, you're truly the God of the impossible. You're the God of the impossible, no matter how impossible it looks. With man it may be impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible, and all things are possible to him who believes. I'm glad he put that in there too. Ladies, did you get anything out of this today?
