Believe The Blessing 3
What if the blessings promised to Abraham could revolutionize your life and the world around you? Join us as we explore the profound power and purpose of blessings in our series, "Believe the Blessing." We promise you'll gain insight into how unity among believers, as inspired by Psalm 133, can pave the way for a spiritual revival in these tumultuous times. With a focus on returning to foundational truths, we'll discuss the anticipation of global revival as we near 2025, and the courage it takes to speak truth in a world filled with deception.
Let's pick our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad. Say this together, say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today. I do give thanks for all you've done, all you are doing and all you are about to do. These are momentous times and we have momentum to enter into 2025. We're going to possess our promises, we're going to dispossess the enemy and we give you the praise for the good things in Jesus name. Amen, you can be seated. And let's turn in our Bibles to Psalm 133 and also Galatians 3. And we're going to finish up, hopefully today, our series on Believe the Blessing, and we'll start with Psalm 133.
Speaker 1:Verse 1. Verse 1. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard that went down to the skirts of his garments as the dew of Hermod and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord commanded the blessing. And then in Galatians, chapter 3, verse 7. Everybody shout that's me.
Speaker 1:And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying In thee shall all nations be blessed. Verse 13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, for it is written Cursed is everyone who hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. So the third message here today in this series believe the blessing. And, as I want to stress, it's not a carnal blessing, it's not a selfish way of looking at things, it's necessary. It really the Bible says here that it's the heart of the gospel, that in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. How can we be a, how can we bless anybody, if we're not first blessed? That's the whole purpose of the blessing is to what Make us a blessing and not just to you know, right around our circle, not just a me and my four and no more, and it goes no further than our front door. No, it's for the whole world, the entire world. It's amazing how much blessing there is laid up for the church right now, because we're going into a very strategic time. 2025 is, you know, is a strategic time. How many of you just sense that God's about to do something even greater than we've ever seen? I mean, I just I'm alive with the. I'm not talking about just the election, I'm not talking about just America, I'm talking about the whole world. I'm talking about a revival, I'm talking about a harvest. So I want to build your faith in the time that we're in. It's a great economic and social and moral upheaval.
Speaker 1:I mean, you know, just because we had an election doesn't mean everything's straightened out. Everything that we had right a few weeks ago is still here. You still got to contend and you've got a certain percentage of the country that's just in denial. They're having a temper tantrum, a breakdown. Why? Because they've had a series of psyops, psychological operations that were arranged to get them to believe a lie and they bit into it. I mean, just go back a number of years. It's been years in the making and just a little bit at a time they get you to bite on a lie. And then you believe that and I've been preaching about this ever since I've been in the ministry about deception god began to deal with me about deception years and years and years ago. And now look at it, look at the deception, and so, uh, we have a whole news media, the whole uh, all of all of, uh, the hollywood, most of them, some of them are, you know, got a grip. Praise god for some them. Some of them are, you know, got a grip, praise God for some of them. Some of them woke up and they've got courage now to speak up. Now, not that they, you know, who cares what a Hollywood star says. Anyway they play a part. Their whole living is made by playing something that they're not Anyway.
Speaker 1:So God, here in the Old Testament, in Psalm, he commanded the blessing, and that was originally intended for Israel to be a blessing to all the nations. But you know, I'm just finished reading 2 Chronicles, where I read first where you know the northern kingdom got taken away by Assyria, and now I've just finished the chapters where you know Judah got carried away to Babylon and they got taken out of the land. God kept protesting. He said no, don't do this, keep the covenant, keep my word. He sent prophet after prophet after prophet after prophet. They kept killing them, they kept ignoring them until they filled up such a cup that the covenant's curses had to kick in. It wasn't God's desire to do that.
Speaker 1:God could not protect them, and that's what we've seen in America. God cannot protect America because it's gone away from one nation under God until we brought in every foreign God from all over the world and we've set them as equal. Well, men are equal, but God is only one. There's only one God and the rest of them are all false. Every one of the other ones is the devil and we've got to get back to that truth, and it's going to make a lot of people mad and there's just no getting around it. I said there's no getting around it and I believe that we're set up for that to happen. We've got boldness. Now We've got people that finally grew a spine and you know they're showing up. The church is showing up.
Speaker 1:So the blessing was ingrained in Jewish tradition. We've been talking about it. You know, the Jewish fathers blessed their children every Sabbath, and then you had the patriarchs would bless their seed at their time of their death. The priests would bless, you know, israel every time they had a sacrifice and so forth. And as we've determined, we have a better covenant found upon better promises. Hebrews 8, 6.
Speaker 1:The whole theme of Hebrews is Jesus is better. Who is Jesus? He's the Word and he's better. And the New Testament is better than the old. It's better, it's a better covenant? Why? Because the blood of Jesus is better than the blood of bulls and goats. Say when you, when you, when you get your bible into you, when you ingest it and it becomes one and you, you eat that, you eat that living bread and you drink that blood. Listen, there's some things that begin to open up in your thinking and there's part of you that will not allow yourself to settle for less than what Jesus' blood paid for.
Speaker 1:That's my aim at these messages. I want to build you up going into, I believe, a time of great transfer. One of the things that's going to happen is a transfer of wealth, and we've got to get our thinking straight about money. He's not going to bless a bunch of skin flints, a bunch of stingy minges. We're going to have to get this straight in our thinking, in our mind renewed to God's word, and get our behavior about money lined up with God's ways, and then we qualify. You've got to pass the money test.
Speaker 1:Now there's more to it than money. There's health. I mean, we need health. I can't do much with Gladys in a wheelchair. I need her out of that wheelchair. I need her dancing up and down the aisles. I need her circulating among the crowd like she always did before, just like a little butterfly, just spreading all the sparkles and all the honey. I'm not very good at that, you figured that out. I've got a lot of vinegar. In my ways I'm the one that sets your teeth on edge sometimes, but not Gladys. No, gladys is the perfect balance.
Speaker 1:But we talked about the blessing defined, and that is blessing defined 1828 Webster's Dictionary, to consecrate by the sprinkling of blood. See, we're blood blessed, set apart for holy purposes. See, this message is not carnal. It's not about a self-improvement. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme, not at all. No, this is a kingdom mindset that we have to renew our mind to God's perspective and then he can grant us power, and then we can have prominence. See, god's not against us being prominent. He wants us prominent. He does not want people to be self-promoting in that area. He doesn't want us to go around, just you know, thinking that we hung the moon. No, he hung the moon, he's the one that made it and hung it. Are you with me now To pronounce holy happy.
Speaker 1:You ever seen a sadder group than all these Democrats? They're just sad. They keep going around and around in circles trying to explain why they lost the election. They still don't get it. They absolutely why? Because the truth is not in them. They loved a lie and they finally wound up believing it and God handed them over to a mind void of judgment. When you believe men can breastfeed a child they call it chest feeding I mean, you've got to be out of your mind, and they are. They're totally out of their mind. And so the American people, mostly Christian people, most of the middle of the country, the ones on the edges on the East Coast and the West Coast I'm sorry. Maybe we need to have a divorce, I don't know. You want to leave? Go ahead. There's one Democrat saying they need to secede. Well, why don't? We did that. You know, we tried that and had a civil war over it. You want to have another civil war? Is that what you want? I mean, these people are nuts, but the reason is because they don't love the truth. We love the truth, no matter who it identifies us with or separates us from.
Speaker 1:Amen, happy, successful, prosperous, divine favor, favor, uncommon advantage, uncommon promotion. Back in the word that we had on the greatest year yet that particular night was rosh hashanah 2019. Looking ahead to 2020. Greatest year, yet I prophesied 2020 is going to be the greatest year, yet what was that year? The year of covid to be the greatest year, yet what was that year, the year of COVID? God had a different perspective and from that he gave us power. And now we've got prominence. I mean, our footprint has grown now. But he said you know, that night I just saw us having promotion and people were going to just instead of just having a promotion for the next level, you're going to skip three or four levels.
Speaker 1:I remember we had a word back when we started. We acquired this property and we were making plans to build this building and we were in the Seventh-day Adventist church down, you know, down I-10 at Hollister. You know, down I-10 at Hollister, hammerly was it Hammerly? Way down there? I mean, we're 15 miles out of this area, way down the route. See, we're a regional center. God moved us all the way down there to make us believe it. We lost half the church when we moved. How would you like to lose half the church and have a building program?
Speaker 1:And God gave me a word, for the church says now, y'all, we're not going to have a special offering for the church, we're not going to hire some company to come and interview you and try to give, make you uh have a bunch of um commitments to follow and all of that. Uh, god told me to make sure that you all tithe and make sure you give offerings over and above the tithe. Obey him and he will. He will supply the church and one step that we take in faith is going to be worth 50 steps. Anybody remember, one step equals 50 steps. I mean you said that way back there and that's true. I mean, when you make a step in faith, it looks small but it's really 50. It's really 50. Oh, come on, come on now. One step in faith, because faith works in the unseen and it turned out just like that. I mean, god's provided $3.7 million to build this first phase. He provided the property for it. He provided the property for it. I mean he did all of it. He did it exactly like he said he would. And I'm telling you, coming into 2025, let's get ready. Let's get ready.
Speaker 1:In an amplified Bible, the blessing means highly favored to be envied. You know that's going to cause some trouble Some of your family members. They're not going to be happy when you get blessed. They're not going to be happy when you're driving something nicer and living in something nicer, wearing something nicer. They're not going to all. Not everybody's going to be happy. Well, you know, god's happy. I don't care what other people think. I don't care what other people think.
Speaker 1:The plan God had was to make all the nations of the earth jealous of Israel and want them to find out about Israel's God. It didn't work out that way for them, but that's what the church is supposed to do. We're not taking Israel's place. It's not replacement theology I'm talking about. I am talking about, though we're going to all the world, and that includes the political world. We can't exclude certain places just because they're hard. Amen.
Speaker 1:So we're blood-blessed and we mix faith with what we hear and we profit. You know, they versus us versus them, talking about Israel versus the church. They didn't mix faith with what they heard. Abraham heard the gospel. It was preached to Israel and thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. That was what God called in the book of Hebrews the gospel, the good news. That's what it was for. It was not just for Israel, it was for Israel to influence the whole world. God wants to reveal himself to the whole world. He said I'm going to use you, israel, and they didn't mix faith with it and it didn't profit them. It profits us, see, it's supposed to profit. We're supposed to be better off than we were before, not worse off. Supposed to be better off, amen.
Speaker 1:So today, let's look at Galatians, chapter 3 again, and look at verse 7 again. Know ye, therefore, that they which are of faith the same are the children of Abraham. Now let's skip down to verse 26. For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. We talk about the three baptisms. We teach it in Faith Foundations. We reiterate it when people are water baptized. We go over that fact again. There's three baptisms. There's water baptism that shows forth the death, burial and resurrection. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. Baptism doesn't save you, but it's a proof that you're saved. If you're saved, you're going to obey Jesus. Jesus said you ought to be baptized in water as a witness, as a testimony.
Speaker 1:In some parts of the earth, when a person is baptized, then they're disowned from their family. In some cases there's a fatwa in Islam. I mean you become a Christian out of Islam, you know you might have a death sentence on you. An honor killing might occur. It happened right here in Houston. Young woman's, you know, got on fire for God. She got saved and and and her own father, uh, had, you know, had her killed. If I thank God, they caught that rascal. That's the kind of thing that we've imported. We've imported this kind of stuff. So water baptism, I mean you know, if you're Jewish and you get water baptized as a Christian, I mean your family most likely will disinherit you. You will no longer be invited to the Shabbat or Passover or anything else. You know they don't like it. So it's a mark of the in this culture which you know.
Speaker 1:Okay, water baptized Well, it means something, see. And then, of course, you have the baptism. When you're saved, you're baptized into Christ by the Holy Ghost. You become one with Christ. And then, of course, the baptism of the Holy Ghost which you receive, and the Holy Ghost comes upon you and you speak in other tongues. So the three baptisms, so he said, as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, in other words, born again. You put on Christ and there's neither Jew nor Greek, there's neither bond or free. There's neither male nor female. No, boy, that's strong. Read that and read that. Pastor, did you read out of the Bible? Yeah, I read right out of the Bible, verse 28. There's neither Jew nor Greek. There's neither bond nor free. There's neither male nor female. But you were all one in Christ Jesus and if you be Christ, then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Speaker 1:Now, he's not saying there's no difference between men and women. He's talking about your spirit. You know, the disciples got all hung up because they had, they had Jewish tradition, had you know where a man, if, if, uh, if, uh, he died, then his wife, his widow, would be married to his brother and this woman. You know, this man died and he had seven brothers and they all had a wife, which one of them is the husband in the afterlife. And Jesus said well, you don't understand. They could become like the angels. In other words, marriage isn't needed in heaven, because the purpose of marriage is to have a covenant so you can reproduce down here on earth. Marriage is a is an earthly thing. It's ordained by God. But once you're in heaven, there's no need for that kind of a covenant. So there's nobody's. So we've got a lot to think about. You know, gladys is going to have to rethink, maybe. She said don't you ever get married when I pass and you just stay single the rest of your life. What did you say? I said, yes, ma'am, you're going to hang around a long time, but anyway. So we who are born again are all Abraham's seed.
Speaker 1:We need to get out of this idea of our African-American Hispanic, even this whole women's, this feminazi feminism thing. It's invaded the church a lot. Let's be more spirit conscious, let's understand who we are in Christ. That's really the only thing that's that important. I think women ought to look like women. I think women ought to look like women. I think men ought to look like men and act like men. I don't believe in all this soft, messy Democrat author, devil author really is what it is. No, I believe men ought to be men, women ought to be women.
Speaker 1:But I'm talking about, though, in the church, when it comes to being and serving God and having the gifts of the spirit and and reaching this world. I mean we need to realize who we are. We're one with him. That's the main thing I tried. I mean, I've had people that I got associated with that were Jewish. They call themselves Messianic. Well, whoop-dee-doo, why don't you read this verse right here and quit being so proud that you're Jewish and you're Messianic? So what? I don't know what you call a Heinz 57, like me, you know, I've got Irish and German and I don't know what all's in there, cajun. No telling what I've got in, it doesn't matter. I'm a new creature, I'm one with him, all right.
Speaker 1:So we who are born again are all Abraham's seed. The blessing was commanded by God over Abraham and his seed. And who was the original seed? The first? You know, seed means plural, really, he said seed singular, but he's talking about, he means everybody, all the way through Christ and us. We're the seed singular. But who was the first in that series? Well, it was Isaac. Everybody say Isaac. So his original seed, the first in the series, was Isaac. What specifically did the blessing look like when Isaac walked in it? Because, see, isaac is a type and shadow of Jesus. He's a type and shadow of believers. The church, the Old Testament is the shadow and we have the substance in the New Testament.
Speaker 1:So let's turn over to Genesis 26, and I want to share six things that are hallmarks or stamps, markings of the blessing. It marks you. You've all been stamped, you have a marking. You have a. Just like this ring I talked about last week. It's got a mark on the inside that says 10 carats, 10 carat gold. The old school Aggie rings were 14 carat gold. I'm still an Aggie even though last night Texas won. But anyway, what an embarrassment. I hope they fire all the coaches. So anyway, they just hired him. I guess they won't Ten carats. So why is it marked? It used to be 14. Well, they get all worn out because it's higher gold. So if you have jewelry, it's stamped. You've been stamped with the blessing, you're marked.
Speaker 1:That young man that was full of the devil that the seven sons of Sceva tried to cast the devil out of him. He said Jesus, I know and Paul, I know, but you're missing a stamp. You don't have the stamp. Who are you? And he jumped on them and beat them up and stripped them naked and sent them on their way. I mean, that's what happened. They were missing the stamp. No, you're not missing the stamp, you've been stamped, you've been marked. I'm telling you, in the spirit realm, everybody knows. In the spirit realm you are blessed. So we better know something about it. And these are some really good uh marks that we can follow that that Isaac had when he uh manifested the blessing. And so let's look at Genesis 26 and uh, the seed of Abraham, verse 1. There was a famine in the land beside the first famine. That was in the days of Abraham, and Isaac went unto Abimelech, the king of the Palestinians, I mean the Philistines. Same thing, same spirit.
Speaker 1:I'm reading a book by Jonathan Cahn the Dragon Prophecies. It's so full of this idea of back then and today. October the 7th of 2023 was a momentous date and very prophetic. And they're doing today what they did they, they've always done Philistines. They were all about torture. I mean, what did they do to Samson? They bored his eyes out, they tortured him, they stripped him naked and put him behind a millstone and and and that was not in the but yeah, that's what they did to their enemies. They humiliated them, they mocked them. See these poor. I mean they. They killed babies, they beheaded babies, they tortured babies, they tortured children and then beheaded them, then mutilated them and killed them, and then they and some of them that they let live they stripped them naked and paraded them all through gaza city, back of the pickup. Did you see the picture of the girl that was missing, most of her clothing, and then later on they killed her?
Speaker 1:What they are doing now, they did back then. Why? Because it's the same evil spirit, it's the devil. You're not going to make peace with the devil folks. We need to get this through to our president-elect, because I think he's planning on making a deal with them and you can't deal with them. And there's no deal to be had with Hezbollah. There's no deal to be had with the Palestinians, hamas, any of them, all right, so hallmarks of the blessing. So is there going to be a famine? So Isaac went on to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, and to Gerard, which is just south of Gaza city.
Speaker 1:See, that's where they operated. Was Gaza strip? Philistines did? Philistines were the greatest enemies of Israel, and that's what you have. Palestinian wasn't even in the language until about the turn of the 20th century, from the 19th to the 20th century. All of a sudden, palestinians showed up. So it's not ancient, it's really Philistines. They just don't want to call themselves Philistine. That's what they are.
Speaker 1:And the Lord appeared unto him and said go not down unto Egypt, dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of. Sojourn in this land and I will be with thee and will bless thee, for, unto thee and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries and I will perform the oath which I swear unto Abraham, thy father. And he goes on to keep talking about what he's going to do. He's going to bless him. What did he promise, abraham? I'm going to bless you and I'm going to bless your seed. Isaac is the first seed. I'm going to bless you. That's what he said. So the first hallmark of the blessing is led by the spirit. He was led by. God. Told him what to do. God told him where to live, what to do, sojourn in this land. And Romans 8, 14,.
Speaker 1:As many as are sons of God, they are led by the spirit of God. So every child of God is led. The question is are we following? If you want to manifest the blessing that God has for you, then you will have to follow the Holy ghost. And in my life I've not always manifested the blessing in every area, especially the financial area. I mean I had to do without. You've heard my testimony many times, most of you. I mean I had to do without. You've heard my testimony many times most of you but I lived below what God had for me. Why? Because I missed his leading and didn't follow it. That's why I teach on following the Holy Ghost on a regular basis. I mean, it's one of them.
Speaker 1:Besides knowing who you are in Christ, it's one of the most important things to learn how to do, to learn how to identify the witness of the Spirit. Many people are waiting for this to happen like an appearance. I mean God appeared to him. Why? Because, well, isaac is spiritually dead. His spirit is not alive. He does not have Zoe life in him. He's not one with Christ, but we are. So God is going to lead us how? Spirit to spirit, and so that's one of the marks, of the blessing, the hallmarks.
Speaker 1:Everybody say I'm led by the spirit and I follow the Holy Spirit. So many Christians lack this stamp. They're waiting on God to show them something in the heavenlies or they're waiting on some prophecy. There's a whole bunch of charismatic Christians who don't have any idea how to be led by the Spirit. They're waiting on somebody to prophesy and tell them what to do. Well, that's not scriptural. That is not scriptural. That's what happened in the Old Testament. Why? Because in the Old Testament only the priest, the prophet and the king had the Holy Ghost, and it was upon those three to fulfill their office. But no one else had the Holy Spirit. So they couldn't identify the leading. So they had to be told, they had to have prophets, they had to have, you know, somebody else tell them, but not now. No, no, that's unscriptural, no, that's unscriptural. And so let's, let's, let's, let's bear the mark of the blessing and let's be, let's, follow the holy ghost, let's determine we're going to build our spirit up to where it can identify the witness of the spirit, which is the normal way. All right, number two I see move down to verse 12, talking about the hallmarks or the stamps of the blessing. You're stamped with these, you're marked. Number two mark.
Speaker 1:Then Isaac sowed in the land and received the same year a hundredfold, and the Lord blessed him. Now, when was that? Well, that was during a time of famine. What farmer waits for a famine? Famine means no rain, you know, you would, just you try to get through it any way you could, but you wouldn't take your money and go buy a bunch of seed and go out in the field and sow it into an old, dry dust bowl. Think about Oklahoma in the 30s, the dust bowl, kansas, all those middle states in there across the middle of the country. They termed it the dust bowl because they had a famine. There was no rain and the wind come blowing through there blew all the topsoil away and they couldn't grow any crops. I mean, man, I think the Depression was a depression in a lot of different ways. There was an economic crash on Wall Street, but there was an agricultural crisis in the middle of the country because of ignorance of how to treat the land, how to farm it, how to do the right thing by it and don't just keep planting wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat every year until you bleach all the nutrients out and wheat won't grow. I mean, there was a lot of ignorance that had to get filled in. So what is the mark? Prosperity in the time of famine. Have we been living through a famine? I mean, the last time I looked, I mean biodynamics. I mean it's crazy.
Speaker 1:I went to the store the other day and I was determined to get some center cut bacon Because, you know, bacon is more of like a flavoring than it is a food. You know, I mean bacon, bacon fat. Is. I like bacon fat on almost anything. I might even put bacon fat on my toast, I don't know. You know pork fat rules. It really does. Don't fix your greens with olive oil, are you nuts? Come on Anyway, gladys says I always preach about food, but it was $7.69 for 12 ounces of center cut, but $7. I had $7. I paid. I'm ashamed. I'm kind of ashamed. I was kind of guilty a little bit. I paid it because I had it, I wanted it, I bought it, but I didn't like it. I didn't like paying twice as much as I did just a few years ago. A couple years it was $3.60 and now it's $7.80, whatever.
Speaker 1:And so Bidenomics has kicked in. We've got we've got. We've got famine in this country. I believe it's over, I believe we're coming into that. But it doesn't matter about economic conditions for us, because while we are blessed, no matter what the economic conditions this proves it right here he sowed in the time of famine Don't ever hold back because you're going through a financial difficulty. In fact, that's when you kick up your giving. Right there, right there is when you turn the knob to self-clean and say, devil, you're going to cut my funds off. Let me tell you what I'm going to do to you. I'm going to sell extra. I've proven it out. It works.
Speaker 1:I said you can't beat what the gospel gives you. So prosper, everybody, say prosperity. See, isaac was a tither and as a tither he had a right for the ideas, concepts and insights. I'll pour them out on you so much that you won't be able to contain them. And one of the ideas was okay, go ahead and plant your seed in this dry soil. Now you know it had to be a supernatural crop. There's no rain folks. And so somehow that crop grew and the idea was this no one else is planting, it's a famine. When you plant, there's not going to be anybody to compete and you're going to be able to charge more for your crop. He didn't eat all that, he sold it. He sold it. I'm telling you, the opportunity is coming up for us and it's happened in this church.
Speaker 1:I mean, during the last big, we had a big wrinkle after 9-11. I mean, anybody remember after 9-11, the stock market fell. I mean it was unemployment, we had all kind of trouble, problems, and it was during that time that our former landlord and the guy that we had bought property from and we were paying him every month for this property. Well, he shorted the stock market. He was an expert in day trading, but he didn't let that be his only way of making money. He's an investor. He's a real estate investor by his profession, but he got in the stock market, knew how to short it. He shorted the stock market and made a whole pot full of money. While everybody else is suffering, he made money. See, you make money in either direction. When the market's increasing or decreasing, you can make a lot of money either way. As long as there's a delta, as long as there's a change, you can take advantage of that change. And so he knew how to do it. He made a bunch of money. I found out later and this land miracle came because he made a bunch of money in a time of famine and he made it for our benefit. I didn't even have to make it, it wasn't even my idea. He had the idea. Isn't that amazing? I mean you're a tither and a giver and a sower of seed. I mean you're a tither and a giver and a sower of seed. I mean you can make money off of other people's ideas.
Speaker 1:Everybody say prosperity and famine. Well, you got to believe the blessing, you can't allow fear and dread. I see a lot of people living in fear and dread. They're worried about whether they can make their mortgage payment. They're worried about where they can if their car is going to get repossessed, and there's a lot of fear and dread Even now, even after this good news. It looks like it's good news, but it hasn't affected much of anything yet. The stock market went up. It took a record, but I mean you can't get anything out of that unless you sell right. I mean you can have a paper gain, but that doesn't do you any good unless you sell. Everybody say prosperity and famine.
Speaker 1:My God shall supply all your need according to his riches and glory, by Christ Jesus. What was that promise? Philippians 4, 19. Who was that made to? It was made to Paul's partners who had sent once and again to his necessities. They were his partners in the ministry. They sent him financial help and so therefore he said my God shall supply all your need. You've supplied my need. God's going to supply all your need according to his riches and glory, by Christ Jesus. So when you're a tither and a giver, you have a right for God to take care of you in grand style. It doesn't matter what the economic situation is in the country or in the whole world, as far as that matters, because God owns all of it. All the gold is his, all the silver is his. He made the lands. All of it is his, and everything you need in that area is down here. All right, then look at verse 13.
Speaker 1:And the, the man, isaac, waxed great, went forward and grew until he became very great because, for he had see, oh, that's spiritual. No, it's not just spiritual. Look at what it says. Because he had possession of flocks and possession of herds and great store of servants. And the Philistines. What the Palestinians envy, yeah, I tell you, the most jealous hearted people in the whole world is Islamic world. They are so jealous of America, they're so jealous of Israel. They hate our guts. Why? Because the one that they've lent themselves to the devil hates our guts.
Speaker 1:The devil thinks he's God. Did you know that the devil is an angelic creature? He's a created being. He didn't exist, I mean, he didn't make himself. He was Lucifer, he was anointed cherub. That covered, he was in charge of praise and worship in heaven, and then he lifted up his throne above God. He said I will lift my throne above the throne of God. He became lifted up in pride because of his beauty and because of his glory and he fell. So he's not God. He's not even in the God class of being we are. We're in the image of God. He's not in the image of God, he's a fake. But see, he rules over people and they are you know, they are his subjects and he is their God. Jesus talked to the, to the Pharisees you are of your father, the devil, the works of your father. You shall do so. Everybody that's not born again is really under the heel of the devil, as if he's God but he's not God. They need to understand he's not God. There's no other God but God. He's the only one. He's unrivaled. All right.
Speaker 1:So the third mark is an increase in wealth and influence. Not just, it's not just a one-shot deal. Oh man, you know, isaac made made good on that man. I mean his crops increase. He was the only. He had the homely wheat crop everybody else's hadn't planted, and then he sold wheat for five thousand dollars a bus bushel man. He got rich. It wasn't just a one-shot deal. He kept on going. He kept on getting better and better. He kept on making deal after deal. He increased in flocks and herds and herdsmen and he increased and increased and became very great and he was the envy. Are y'all with me now? That's what it ought to be. That's a mark of the blessing. We don't have to just have a one-shot deal and just you know, that's all there is.
Speaker 1:I used to be around phil gospel businessmen a lot. I was my two two-track discipleship. I was president of the conroe chapter for a while and I was around a lot of pastors and churches would come and talk to pastors and churches would come and talk to pastors and things like that, and I'd hear about their story and that was kind of. You know the early. You know early eighties, you know, and you had, you had a transition between the denominational churches and independent churches, like we have now. We have a whole lot more independent churches and and most of the megachurches are independent churches. You know they're not. You know, of course the Baptists got big churches. You don't see very many big Methodist churches, you don't see any big Presbyterian churches and so the denominational world has gone down and the independent world has gone up. But I was struck by that time. I met a lot of charismatic Back then.
Speaker 1:I didn't understand the difference between word of faith and charismatic. We both still believe in miracles, we both believe in the Holy Ghost, baptism of the Holy Ghost, we both believe in gifts of the Spirit and all that. But I didn't understand the difference between word of faith as much as I do now Charismatics. Charismatics are not really centered on the Word of God. They're centered on the Word of God. They're centered on the gifts and they live from miracle to miracle. That's why they always have to have somebody prophesy. They always have to have somebody tell them what the will of God is. They always have to have a miracle, and Word of Faith teaches you how to get your miracle by speaking the right thing. You don't have to have a gift of the Spirit to get your healing. You can be healed on your faith. You can get blessed financially on your faith. You don't have to have a one-shot deal.
Speaker 1:But anyway, I noticed that a lot of their churches were based on something that happened 20, 30 years ago. Yeah, that's the church where they had a lady that was healed of uh came out of a wheelchair. It's been about 20 years ago. Man, that's the church where they had a lady that was healed of, came out of a wheelchair. It had been about 20 years ago. Man, that's really an amazing miracle. She's still around there, I think. So they look back at a miracle they had in their church and they build a shrine around it and it never happened again. Why? Because they're not teaching the word. They're waiting on the gifts.
Speaker 1:Are y'all with me now? No, this mark of the blessing means that it's not a one-shot deal. I mean, you just keep on going. You keep on getting more healthy every year. Yeah, you gain the victory over cancer and something else comes up. You're going to step on it. You're going to get the victory of whatever comes your way, no matter what it is, one by one. You're going to slay every health giant, every financial giant, every giant that's trying to interrupt your peace in your house, your marriage, your home, your children.
Speaker 1:Are you with me now? It's not about what happened way back then. I grew up Catholic. What happened way back Now? We grew up Catholic. Everything happened way back there. We believed in miracles. Way back there there was nothing. Nothing happening right now. It was all the way back there.
Speaker 1:Oh, I wish I would live way back there, the St Stanislaus he might could have worked a miracle for me. All those saints, saints, so-and-so, pray for me. Saints, so, so and so pray. I used to pray those things. Oh, it's boring. Number one, who is it? What can he do for me? What can he do? I asked this question when I was 10 years old. What can St Stanislaus I'm just using Stanislaus because it's kind of a funny name what can Stanislaus do for me that God can't do? Why do I need him to pray for me? And it never made any sense to me. That was the beginning. See God dealing with my little heart, trying to get me to reject religion and pursue him. I didn't do it, but I finally did Praise God. I finally got saved. How many of you believe I am saved? Okay, good, so it's not a one-shot deal.
Speaker 1:God will give you ideas, concepts and insights for you to have income-producing assets. Some assets are not income-producing. Some assets are income-reducing. Well, they're not income-reducing, but they're outlay. They're out, you know, like a car note. I mean, you've got a big old, fat car note, you're going to pay every month. It's not getting more valuable, it'll get less valuable. You know it's worth less today than it was yesterday and so it's a decreasing.
Speaker 1:God will show you how to put your money in things that will grow in value and will actually pay. An investment pays you. Again, stock market is really not really truly an investment because it doesn't pay you nothing unless you get dividends. If you've got the kind of stock that pays dividends, that's an exception. But if you don't have dividends being paid to you, then you're putting money in the stock market and the only way you gain is when you sell the stock. And then you got to pay what capital gains you got to give the government 20% back and uh, so it's really not an investment, as much as it is a delayed income thing. But you know there are certain things you can do that you can invest your money.
Speaker 1:I've got investments that pay me. I've got a big old check I'm going to write to Glorious Way Church today. Actually, I'm going to put it on the app. I quit writing checks, so I'm going to put it on the app and I'm bringing a big old tithe because I got a $21,000 check deposited in my account this week from an investment I made, and I've never been to the office, I never talked to anybody, I just invested this money in this investment and they turned around and did some things and they just mailed me and I still have the investment. I still have the investment that I had, and this is gravy off the top. It's called passive income.
Speaker 1:Well, if I can do it, you can do it. If I can have it, you can have it. I mean, we have the same God, we have the same Holy Ghost. He can show you how you can do it and I'm telling you, going into 2025, if you're willing to not just have a one-shot deal. I mean, yeah, some of you are gainfully employed, you make good money and all of that. Some of you own your own business. You make good money, but you know what? There's other ways for God to bless you. Everybody say multiple streams of income. See, that's what happened. I mean, he got so rich, he had so many flocks, he had so many herds, he had so many herdsmen, he expanded All right Verse 18. So, led by the Spirit, prosperity and famine, increase in wealth and influence. He's envied. Verse 18,.
Speaker 1:And Isaac digged again the wells of water which they had, the Philistines had, or which they had digged in the days of Abraham, his father, for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. So he stopped them after the death of Abraham and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. So he digged again the wells of water. In other words, he took his authority and he demanded the devil to take his hands off of his assets. Those were his father's wells. The devil came and stopped up the wells. What happens when that happens? Your herds can't live. They're going to die. Water is the only way the flocks can live. He's got sheep and goats. They've got to have water. If you stop up all the wells, my sheep can't live.
Speaker 1:I'm going to go out here and unstop the wells that you did. I'm going to use my authority. Unstop the wells that you did. I'm going to use my authority. Devil, you've stopped something up. I'm not going to let you stop up my health. You've stopped up the well of life in my life. I'm not going to let you rob me of my health. I'm not going to let you rob me of my money. I'm not going to let you rob my house of peace. I have peace in my house. I have peace in my house, I have peace in my marriage, I have peace with my children. I'm going to unstop the wells. See, you're overcoming the enemy. See, you can't curse what God has blessed.
Speaker 1:Galatians 3.13,. You can't curse, you know you can try to, but no weapon formed against you can prosper if you'll take your authority. It doesn't say it won't be formed. It doesn't say the wells won't be stopped up. It says you can unstop them. Is this helping anybody today? I'm talking about these characteristics, these hallmarks of what, the what does the blessing look like? I'm, I'm describing it. This is what the blessing looks like. It's victory. I mean don't cry because somebody stopped your well up, unstop it. I mean don't cry because somebody stopped your well up, unstop it. Praise God All right. Verse 19.
Speaker 1:And Isaac's servants digged in the valley and found there a well of springing water, or living water. And the herdman of Gerar where is that Right in the Gaza Strip? Did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying the water's ours. And he called the name of the well, esek, because they strove with him. And they digged another well, strove for that also. They called the name of that, sitna, and he moved from there and digged another well. See, there's three wells, and they didn't strive on that one. And he called the name of that, rehoboeth, which means room. But now the Lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land. And so the next one is that he dug new wells, which means see, when we talk about how he increased in wealth and influence. What did that mean in that day? It meant that he had more sheep and more goats. They needed more water. It wasn't enough just to uncover and unstop the wells for his father, because his father was a certain level of wealth. It was great. Abraham was very rich in cattle, silver and gold, but Isaac was greater than him. Isaac had more than his daddy. And so what did that mean? He had to have more water. He had to have more supply. Are you with me now? So he went and dug some more. He went and dug some more wells.
Speaker 1:See again, ideas, concepts and insights. When I think about this, I think about Jesus said the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he's anointed to preach the gospel to five groups of people the brokenhearted, the broke, the blind, the bound and the bruised. Five groups of people. And so you can think about it, it's like five wells that we have to dig. We have to dig some wells to fill those five groups of people. That's why God gave the five-fold ministry apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher to prepare you to go out and dig those wells and bring to them the good news. See, it's all about world evangelism. It's all about the harvest.
Speaker 1:Are we in this just to get rich, get rich quick scheme? I'm going to have a seminar tonight about how to teach you how. No, I'm giving you the Word of God. You can find your way in all of this and find out what God has for you. I'm just giving you what he says about it. I mean, it's not self-centered to want to be able to be a blessing to this whole world.
Speaker 1:I mean we drilled a well here in Austin, texas, and we supported it. We had capital worship and the next thing, you know, we had two more wells to drill, one in Oklahoma and one in Louisiana, and we funded those and drilled those. And now we've got those three coming up again that we've got to fill again. We've got to dig those wells again, and then we've got another nine or ten more states on top of that that want us to come. I mean, all they said was come and we're going to be there. Well, how are we going to come? Well, it's going to take some supply and as we take this one step, it's like 50. Oh, come on, lift your hand. Right now I'm taking a step of faith.
Speaker 1:Today I might be preaching things that you're just letting go over your head. Don't let it get your hand up like this. Catch this, catch it, catch it. Don't let it go over your head. It's not for somebody else, it's for you. I don't care what circumstance you're in today, I don't care what it is that you're going through. This is for you, it's for you. Everybody say it's for me. Glory to God.
Speaker 1:And then, finally, we have to turn over to chapter 27. I went a little long today, but sometimes it just takes a while to get everything out that God has for you. And so here is when Jacob is blessed, and, of course, isaac thought it was Esau. Now, I really don't think he thought that. I think he knew it wasn't, because you know, if you know the story between Esau and Jacob, esau was the firstborn only by a second or two, I mean. He came out and they're twins and Jacob had his hand on his heel, he grabbed a hold of his heel and he came out. So I mean, it's almost like they were born at the same time and so their tradition was the firstborn gets the double portion. Well, you know, god could see that Esau was not a candidate for the double portion. He's a fool and his descendants are enemies of Israel and so he was not a candidate.
Speaker 1:I mean, he sold his birthright for a pot of soup and now, you know, his daddy calls him and said okay, son, go get me some savory meat, give me some venison, get me some savory meat, cook it like I like it. So his son knows how to cook deer meat like his father likes. And come and I'm going to bless you. And Rebecca heard that and she devised a little subterfuge and she said Isaac, go kill a really tender baby goat, cabrito. That's what it is, baby goat. How many of you know Cabrito don't take nothing like venison.
Speaker 1:I mean, and you've got two different cooks. You got Rebecca is one cook and you got Esau is another cook. There's no chance that he's eaten that meat and he doesn't know that's not venison and he doesn't know that that's not Rebecca's recipe. Okay, come on, give me a break. And he's got the you know. So she dresses him up and puts the you know hide on him and all that, and he voice, he, he knew. But he knew it really was right. It gave him an out and so he pronounced the blessing over Jacob. And you can't prove that I'm wrong, I can't prove I'm right, but I just know he probably knew it. He probably knew it was the right, it was the wrong method, but it was the right outcome.
Speaker 1:Now, the blessing shouldn't have been to Esau. Really, that's just a. All of that was just a tradition at that time. They didn't have the law then yet. Anyway, that's a tradition of man. So he said bring it in verse 25, bring it near to me, I will eat of my son's venison and my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him and he did eat and he brought him wine and he drank and his father, isaac, said unto him come near now and kiss, kiss me, my son. And he came near and kissed him and he smelled the smell of his raiment and blessed him and said see, the smell of my son is a smell of a field which the Lord had blessed. Therefore.
Speaker 1:And then he starts pronouncing the blessing give thee the God. Give thee of the dew of heaven and the faith, the faith, uh, fatness of the earth and plenty of corn and wine. Let people serve thee and nations bow down to thee. Be Lord over thy brethren. Now let thy mother's sons bow down to thee. See, that means Esau's going to bow down to him. See, cursed be everyone that cursed thee. Blessed be he that blessed thee. And so that was his blessing. He released the blessing over his seed at his death.
Speaker 1:And I want to just encourage you let's believe the blessing and release it over this world. Let's release it over the whole world. Let's be blessed to be a blessing, and right now I want to release the blessing over you. So let's all stand together I'm going to speak something over you right now and release the blessing over you, and let's lift our hands to heaven. One hand would be fine, or if you want to lift both of them, that's fine, whatever you want to do, but let's believe we receive.
Speaker 1:Everybody say I believe I receive, I believe I receive At. Let's believe we receive. Everybody say I believe I receive, I believe I receive At pastor's word, at pastor's word. All the blessing of the Lord. All the blessing of the Lord. All right, here we go.
Speaker 1:As your pastor, I pronounce over you this day the blessing sealed by the blood of Jesus, administered by his holy word and activated by the Holy Ghost. The Father himself loves you and has set his kingdom in motion for the blessing to overtake you. I declare over you today, in Jesus' name, that you are blessed with a sweatless anointing. Every step you take in faith is equal to 50 steps. Your borders are now expanded, your coasts are now enlarged. Lift up your rod, the name of Jesus, and enter through the open door. Advancement, promotion and enlargement are yours.
Speaker 1:As you make incursion into new territories, god is going before you to make the crooked places straight, Discover, uncover and recover the treasures of darkness, the hidden riches of secret places, for now is the time of grand provision for God's paymasters. Extreme favor is yours as you accelerate into position to reap the greatest harvest of souls this world has ever known. So walk in the glory, continue in the word. Manifest the victory, for the blessing has overtaken you. Come on, lift your hands and let's praise God Hallelujah. Come on, let's shout the victory for the blessing has overtaken you. Come on, lift your hands and let's praise God, hallelujah. Come on, let's shout the victory today. Glory to God, glory to God, hallelujah, we're blessed, we're blessed, we're blessed, hallelujah, glory to God. You can be seated, if you can.
Speaker 1:All three weeks was headed up to this one proclamation and I just believe you received. Do you believe you received? Yeah, I just believe today. I just believe today, the first of December, I mean we're right in the last month of the year of momentum and now we just we got some more acceleration. We're being accelerated in a position. Let's lift our hands. Father, we thank you this morning. We thank you for the Holy Ghost, thank you for the anointing, thank you, father, that you've arranged everything up to this point. We give you glory and honor.
