Believe The Blessing 2

Pastor John Greiner

What if the key to witnessing miracles lies not in individual actions but in the collective unity and belief of a community? Explore how unity among believers can create an atmosphere where blessings are commanded, and miracles become tangible. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 133 and Galatians 3, we'll discuss how gratitude should transcend the Thanksgiving holiday, becoming a daily practice that fosters an environment ripe for divine intervention. Through a unique metaphor of humidity, learn how love and unity can make miraculous occurrences as palpable as the air we breathe.

Speaker 1:

Let's lift our Bibles up and wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad. Say this together, say Heavenly Father, it's coming around Thanksgiving time Now. Once a year in this country we celebrate Thanksgiving, but I celebrate Thanksgiving continually. I'm continually grateful for what you've done for me, for what you're doing in the earth. Today. We're so grateful for the power of God, the love of God and fresh revelation today For better results. It's getting better and better.

Speaker 1:

In Jesus' name, amen, praise God, let's turn in our Bibles to a couple of our foundation scriptures Psalm 133 and also Galatians 3, and we'll start with Psalms. And we're teaching on believe, the blessing. This is a second message and it's so important and imperative for us to know that we're blessed and to believe it. And, of course, believe is not just mentally agree. Believe is act like it. I mean we have to speak it and we have to act like it. So Psalm 133, I'm going to haul off again and read the entire Psalm. It's three verses. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. You know, years ago God gave me this little formula Love plus unity equals miracles, and so we sang about that a little while ago. And you know, there's something about coming to church where you get into unity with your brothers and sisters and the love of God is manifest and in that atmosphere miracles can occur. I mean we've got miracles in the atmosphere up here and in that atmosphere miracles can occur. I mean we got miracles in the atmosphere up here. Come on, let's lift our hand, let's grab a hold of our miracle. I mean, glory to God, I had that atmosphere Sunday night, last Sunday night.

Speaker 1:

It was just, you know, it was humid. You know how it is when it's humid. It's real heavy and thick and you can feel the air. That's how the miracles were Sunday night. I said it's humid. I could have said pregnant, you know, but I didn't want to use that. I used humid. It was kind of, you know, odd word but everybody can relate to humid if you're from Houston. And that atmosphere. Come on, let's lift our hands.

Speaker 1:

The atmosphere is humid, with miracles. It's just dripping. It's dripping, hallelujah. It's so nearby, so close, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like unity is like something Like what Precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard even Aaron's beard that went down to the skirts of his garment. When did that happen? When Moses, anointed him as high priest, poured a horn of oil over his head and it just went down. And so the Holy Ghost is the author of unity and of course he's the author of love and he's the author of miracle.

Speaker 1:

So it says as the dew of Hermon and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion, that kind of speaks of humidity. Hadn't noticed that before? I mean you get up in the morning and there's dew on the ground. I mean we get up, we wake up. In a service like this there's miracles laying everywhere, as the dew of Hermon and the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord commanded the blessing, for there the Lord commanded the blessing. Everybody say the Lord commanded the blessing, all right.

Speaker 1:

Galatians, chapter 3, verse 7. Know ye, therefore, that they which are of faith everybody shout, that's me the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham. Notice what it said. God preached the gospel to Abraham, and what was the good news? What was the gospel Saying? In thee shall all nations be blessed. In thee shall all nations be blessed. In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Speaker 1:

Verse 13,. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us, for it is written cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. And so hence the message titled believe the blessing. You know we can be blessed legally, but if we don't believe it, it's not going to be experientially, we're not going to actually manifest, even though God and his, through the blood he of Jesus, are blessed. In the Old Testament God commanded the blessing. The New Testament, not only are we blessed, but we don't even have to deal with the curse. Jesus took the curse of the law. We have a better covenant, found upon better promises, than Abraham did, hebrews 8, 6.

Speaker 1:

So this message I don't know if I made this point last week, but many times I've noticed especially Christians that are not taught the full gospel. They're taught. You know, evangelical Christians is what I'm talking about, people that believe, maybe that born again, they believe part of the gospel. Part of the gospel is being born again. That's most important part get born again, because that's your ticket to heaven. If you don't have that, you're not going to heaven. It's amazing how many funerals you go to and everybody's in heaven. Oh, they're looking down. Well, I don't know that they're looking down. They lived like the devil when they were on earth. I'm not convinced. I'm not going to say that if I don't know it. And so you know the evangelicals they've only got part of the gospel. They don't have the part that talks about the blessing. They don't have the part that talks about healing and deliverance and material and financial prosperity. Oh, you're one of those prosperity people.

Speaker 1:

I've encountered that for 40 some. Ever since I got saved. I've encountered this nasty look down your nose, holier-than-thou, religious bunch of baloney that people believe. Of course you can look around and see all these. I mean, you know it. Just, it angers me every time I see these and they're almost always young people wearing these masks.

Speaker 1:

I went to the. You know I couldn't. I had to eat fast food the other day, so I went to the hamburger joint, went in there, you know, and that's all I had time for. I was on my way to see Gladys and she's doing. I'll give you a report later. She's doing better, she's doing well, she's recovering, she's overcoming. But anyway, I'm on my way to see her.

Speaker 1:

I walk in there and here are these. Here are these young girls wearing these black? They all had the same. They weren't all wearing them, just about three, and the rest of them didn't have. Why are you wearing a mask? I want to slap them upside the head. You're being so compliant. You're believing a lie. Girl, didn't you read? Didn't? Haven't you found that the whole thing was made up. Distancing was made up, mask was made up. It didn't work. Hello, they don't read, they don't look at anything. Hello, they don't read, they don't look at anything. They just kind of follow along and do what they're told.

Speaker 1:

Thank God we have the word of God. We can be better informed than people that believe religion. Our heavenly father commanded the blessing that's in the old Testament and praise God, we've got a better cup. And originally, you know, in Genesis, chapter 12, hold your place in Galatians and let's run back there real quick and see exactly when God told Abraham this. He told Abraham to leave his father and mother, his father's house, go to a place I'm going to show. You Didn't even tell him where it was. Yet In verse 2, I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless thee and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. So we're blessed to be a blessing, and I will bless them that bless thee, curse them that curse thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. The book of Galatians calls that the gospel, so the blessing is the heart of the good news. Gospel means good news, and when people criticize the prosperity message, they're criticizing the gospel, they're criticizing God, the author of the good news.

Speaker 1:

Stupid, stop criticizing, quit acting like you know it all. You don't know squat. Get in a church that preaches what the full gospel? It's a full gospel church. In case you didn't know, along with the Holy Ghost, we're a Holy Ghost church. In case you didn't know, along with the Holy Ghost, we're a Holy Ghost church too. So you know, we went over this last week.

Speaker 1:

Jewish fathers bless their children every Sabbath, shabbat, every Sabbath. They knew something about the blessing. I got, you know, tickled to listen to Dennis Prager one time. You know Dennis Prager's a rabbi and he's he has, you know, a ministry as well as a really prominent radio program, and people look to him. I mean he's a good, I like him, he's conservative and all that, but he's he's Jewish, he doesn't have the whole truth, he's got some of it, but that's all right, I like him. But he was chuckling because, you know, every Passover he has a Passover service and I mean they I mean that's kind of close to our Easter and so we have our Easter A lot of these big churches I'm talking about that don't believe in the full gospel.

Speaker 1:

They believe in dramas and extravaganzas and they reenact the resurrection. And they got the guys on the wire going up, you know, and they've got, they've got a whole production. They, they, they practice for a year. You know they have a whole team of of of actors that that put on a show about the resurrection. You know, well, we don't do that. I mean, we've got the word, we can get a picture, we, we can get revelation of what G. We don't need to have it acted out, spend all that time and money. And so he said I chuckle my Christian friends. They have this extravaganza.

Speaker 1:

You know, every Easter and I have Passover and my Passover service is fantastic. You talk about the best food, the best you know, music and everything. It is a man, it is a celebration. And he said I charge a lot of money for my seat, each seat you're going to pay. He didn't say how much he charged, but if you want to go to his Passover service, you're going to pay for the privilege. And when my Christian friends find out that I charge for attendance for my Passover service, they said you charge for that. Well, of course people know all about it. It's notable People in my whole region of the country. They travel along, they fly in for it and yeah, it costs a lot of money to put that on. Yeah, I charge.

Speaker 1:

And he said you know, I just chuckled because you Christians, you have hangups about money. And I just laughed and laughed. I've met a whole lot of those people with hangups. I don't have any hangups about money. That's why I'm wearing my yellow ostrich shoes today. I don't care who likes it or doesn't like it.

Speaker 1:

Maybe I'll get you offended enough to believe God for something nicer. Offended enough to believe God for something nicer. It isn't going to bankrupt heaven for you to look nice and smell nice and drive nice and live nice. Why? Because we're blessed. Everybody shout I'm blessed. Oh, that's so ghost.

Speaker 1:

Look, this is not a carnal message. We're not centered on materialism. We're trying to get you over into the blessing. Why are we blessed? To be a blessing, to be a blessing. So you know, the priests blessed Israel after the sacrifices. The patriarchs blessed their children on their deathbeds and they'd rather their feet up and just leave and uh, but we've got a better covenant found upon better promises. So we gave you the definition of blessing. It bears repeating in Webster's 1828 dictionary.

Speaker 1:

Blessing defined, it means to consecrate by the sprinkling of blood. It means set apart for holy purposes, part for holy purposes. When you bless someone, you pronounce them holy, happy. Have you ever seen more sad people than the Democrats? I mean, they're just coming unglued. They all need a shrink, they all need counseling. I don't think it'll do them any good. Most of the shrinks are just like them. To pronounce holy, happy, successful, prosperous. To pronounce divine favor, exceptional advantage and promotion.

Speaker 1:

Boy, that sounds so carnal, pastor, that sounds. I mean you know I just serve God. I don't serve God for the well. I know you don't serve God for the goodies, but the goodies come with the package. What if you buy a ticket on an airplane that includes a nice meal? I mean you know, when you travel in the first class cabin, you get a pretty nice meal. On an airplane, they give you peanuts in the rest of the plane, but if you have the money to fly first class, guess what? They serve you a pretty good meal. I mean, it's kind of amazing how they can have a, know, have a meal available like that at 38,000 feet, but they can. They do what if you said, oh no, just give me the peanuts.

Speaker 1:

No, it comes with our salvation, jesus' blood paid for the blessing. When we say, oh no, see, that's just arrogance, it's pride blessing. When we say, oh yeah, see, that's just arrogance, it's pride. You know, you just want to fit in with all the rest of these people that don't know what we know. No, let's go ahead and get blessed so we can spread the good news. All right, so in the Amplified that word, blessing means highly favored, to be envied. You're going to run into some people that are going to envy you. In fact they'll be jealous of you and they won't treat you very nice. Well, eat your heart out. I'm blessed, anyway, I'm I. You know I can't help it that you're mad and that you're sad, or you're. You know, I remember one time. You know the opposite can be true.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes people are at a level in their life where they struggle and they haven't gotten a hold of this word. It's why I'm preaching it. I preach it over and over because Oral Roberts told me don't ever stop preaching. This message is the heart of the gospel. You have to teach it over and over.

Speaker 1:

My people are cheating themselves. Jesus told him that. My people are cheating themselves, living far below living, paycheck to paycheck. Sometimes it's not even enough paycheck to get to the next paycheck. Then they have to go to title max, put their title in the guy's hands and get a little advance on their payday and pay a 20, 30% interest on it. If you don't pay it, they come get your car. I mean, that's listen, we don't have to live like that. You can get out of that. You can. You can stop that. You start getting into the word of God and start cooperating with God's word. I'm going to tell you God will bless your socks off. So, uh, highly favored to be envied.

Speaker 1:

So one time I'm I'm broke, I'm, I'm unemployed, I came back from, from Corpus Christi. You mean, you're blessed and you're broke? Yeah, because I miss God. You still have to follow the Holy Ghost. I mean, you're over here and the blessing's over there. Well, guess what? The blessing's not going to chase you down. You need to be over in the locational will of God. And I was out of his will and I wound up being broke.

Speaker 1:

We moved back to Houston and had to move in with my sister. I didn't have enough money to even pay rent, much less buy anything. And I'm a home builder and I'm not doing anything. I can't find a job. Nobody wants to hire a guy that was self-employed for as long as I was. I'm over qualified.

Speaker 1:

And so, you know, one Sunday Brother Osteen said okay, how many of you need a job? Just stand up. Well, I stood up. I mean, you know I need a job, I'm looking for one. I'm broke, I'm doing everything I can to provide for my family. I'm not going to be content and wait. You know I'm going to do whatever I can do to gain some money. To number one, to have a tithe. You know it's hurt, it's hurtful not to have a tithe. I'm a tither with no tithe because I had no income. So I stood up.

Speaker 1:

And then, you know, so the next Sunday, some people ran into me in the bookstore. You know, in the old building there they had the bookstore right off of the sanctuary. And I was in there, you know, looking around. All I could do was buy some mints. I couldn't, I couldn't afford a bunch of books, but I bought some breath mints, uh and uh.

Speaker 1:

And they and I had known them. I'd been their, their prayer partner when one, when the husband got saved, I was his prayer partner and I'd prayed with them and they, they looked up to me. They saw me as somebody more mature. And so the wife came and says uh, brother John, I saw that you stood up last week. You mean you don't have a job? And I said, well, no, not at the moment. I'm unemployed. I guess I'm over. Everybody I've applied to says I'm overqualified. And I laughed. And I could tell when they looked at me they were looking down their nose at me. See, we're better than you, we are better than you.

Speaker 1:

And when I realized that they were looking down at me instead of agreeing with me and believing with me, they were kind of glad that I had been shown my comeuppance. Are y'all with me now? So the opposite can happen. And so when I realized that, I just kind of didn't laugh in their face, I just noticed it. And then I turned and I just started laughing at the devil. I said no, that isn't going to affect me, I'm blessed anyway. I don't care whether they know it or not, they're just. They're just little baby Christians that don't know any better. They envied me before and now they're feel justified. Are y'all with me now? Well, that's part of being blessed is to be envied, to be happy. Glory to God. Let's not be sad, let's be happy, spiritually and materially prosperous. There it is right. There, that's what it means.

Speaker 1:

Ff Bosworth, we said last week, wonderful Greek scholar, assembly of God preacher, said that it's impossible to claim by faith a blessing that we're not sure God has offered. If you're not sure that God is offering the blessing that you're believing for, then you can't believe for it. So it's imperative, then, that we understand what the blessing is, what it involves. It touches every part of your life physically, mentally, spiritually, financially every part of your life. So today let's look at Hebrews, chapter four. We talked about three facts. We're all blessed in Christ. Number one. Number two we're blessed to be a blessing. Number three you can't curse what God has blessed. Three facts about the blessing. Today. I'm going to give you four things to remember about a blessing when you're confronted with contrary circumstances. So let's look at Hebrews, chapter four. And because, remember, in Hebrews, the whole theme of Hebrews is what Jesus is better. It helps to know that because when he's writing these things, it has an aim. The aim is to get you to understand.

Speaker 1:

These people were Jews, hebrews, hebrew Christians. Now they just come out of Judaism into Christianity. They got all the hangups of Judaism and they've got to get that off of them. Galatian church, you may. They turned back and started keeping the law and he said I stand in doubt of you. You know he rebuked the Galatians because they, they went back and started trying to keep the law. And no, there's no. And Christ is the end of the law for righteousness? There's no, there's nothing we can do to be righteous other than believe. There's no action that we can take. No, uh, no tradition we can practice. See, this is what it said. Live the devil's religion. Religion what is religion Exactly? It's man's attempt to get to God through some other means besides Jesus. And who is Jesus? He's the word. So when we say that Jesus is better in the book of Hebrews that means the word is better. Are y'all with me now?

Speaker 1:

So, hebrews, chapter four, verse one let us therefore fear lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest. Any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them. Everybody say us versus them. Unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them. That heard it. So when you see these two verses, it starts off with let us therefore fear.

Speaker 1:

So you go back to the previous chapter three, and it's talking about Israel and how they doubted. They doubted God's word. God gave them the promised land. They got there and they doubted. They said we'd be not able. They had a promise and they doubted God's word. And then they could not possess what God had promised them.

Speaker 1:

So now he comes back in this chapter four. He said you know what and why did they doubt? Well, they feared the giants and they feared the walled cities. They feared the giants and they feared the structures that the giants had built. Are y'all with me now? He said you better not fear that, you better fear the Lord. Let's fear that we fall short of his promise, because the word preached to them and it was preached to us, but it didn't profit them. Why? Because they didn't mix faith with what they heard. They didn't mix faith with what they heard. See us versus them. And so what was the word preached when we already read it In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. They didn't believe that. They didn't believe that God was big enough to get them blessed and give them victory over nations that were greater and mightier than them.

Speaker 1:

We just got through an election where the entire global antichrist spirit was aligned against the church and we beat it in the face, we smashed him in the teeth. I can't get up. This is not all about just about an election. This is about the Antichrist spirit getting whammed because Christians finally showed up at the polls. Black Christians, brown Christians, young Christians showed up, and some of them are not yet Christian, but they're going to get to be Christian because they sowed a really good seed when they voted for righteousness instead of communism, globalism and all that.

Speaker 1:

Everybody say us versus them. So it's talking about Israel and it's talking about the church. And so Israel fell short. They fell short and when that group fell short, the 10 leaders that brought the evil report died of the plague instantly, because they spread that fear and unbelief. And the millions of Jews went along with it, deceived, and their punishment was they didn't get to go in the promised land. Their kids did, and so then Joshua, caleb and Moses had to go another 40 years in the youth ministry. The youth ministry is really important because if we don't get it, they will, but we're going to get it, we are getting it. Amen.

Speaker 1:

So it did not profit them. Notice where it says the word preached did not profit them. So the word of God, the gospel, will profit you. In other words, when you believe in mixed faith with what you hear, you're better off than you were before. That's what known as prophet. There's no excuse for a Christian, once they've heard the full gospel, to get worse. I lived that for a while, in fact, about 10 years. Okay, but it wasn't because I didn't believe. The word is because I didn't listen to the witness of the spirit, which is another reason why I teach a lot on following the Holy Ghost, because when you don't follow the Holy Ghost, you're going to get away from what God's plan is for you. So we have to have all of that working in our lives. So the gospel profits those who believe.

Speaker 1:

Everybody said the gospel is profiting me. I'm blessed to be a blessing to the whole world. You know that's gonna have to take money. I mean, if you don't have any money, you can't be a blessing in the neighborhood, much less the whole world. Are you kidding? We're being invited now. Up to 12 states have invited us to come and have capital work, 12 states of the union. Three we've done before. We're going to repeat that in three of the states, and then we've added nine more on top of that. Well, you know, at 50K each, it's going to take some money Well, god's got all the money we need. It's going to take some laborers Well, god's got some laborers too. Amen.

Speaker 1:

So when you believe and act on the word, you're better off than before, which is profit, which is advantage. So the blessing, or we could call it profit, the profit, see, am I? Am I going out? Am I saying the wrong words? Aren't they interchangeable? The blessing and profit? Profit just means better off than before. So the profit is the heart of the gospel. If the gospel didn't make a difference in your life, why would we even bother to try to preach it all over the world? Why would we attempt to change people's lives if there was no prophet? It was just some kind of theory? No, it's no theory, it's reality. But Israel believed the giants and their structures or their cities more than what God said, and fear canceled out faith. And we can't today, in the 21st century, allow ourselves to fear the giants in politics, in science, in industry, in society and science and industry and society and religion and government. We can't allow ourselves to fear those people and their structures.

Speaker 1:

I think about all the letter agencies. See, those are. Those are not. Those were not in the constitution. Department of education isn't in the Constitution the Homeland Security? Who invented that? A globalist? Bush invented that. It's the biggest ruse I've ever seen. They don't care a thing about Homeland Security. They've let all these people come across the border without vetting them. They didn't find out where they're from, what they're here for. We've got terrorists on our soil right now. We already know we have murderers and thieves. And if you say that, well, you're racist. No, I'm not a racist, I'm a realist. Honey, you call your. You're the racist. They don't really believe what they're saying? You know they really don't.

Speaker 1:

I think maybe one of the first executive orders is for the president to remove any security details for anybody except himself, the vice president and the speaker of the house, the top three people in the government. They're the only ones that have a security deal. Everybody else, you're going to have to get your own, your own, your own. No more security detail for Lena, lena Hidalgo. No security detail. You don't like it? Go back to Colombia. I wish she would All right.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, I mean, wouldn't it be a revelation to them? They don't live in the same crime-ridden places that we do. They're not worried about. You know MS-13 and what's this other one from Venezuela. I haven't learned its name yet, but they break down the doors of these apartments. I mean, they had video of these guys. One of them's got a big old machine gun on his AK-47 or something like hanging off his shoulder and they're banging, breaking the lock off of a private residence in an apartment project in Denver or close to Denver, and the mayor says we're not going to cooperate with Trump.

Speaker 1:

He ought to be arrested and put in prison. As far as I'm concerned, he's not doing. He's not doing his elected duty. He's. He swore to uphold certain things. He's not doing it. Everyone that does that ought to be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I know it's against the law what they're doing. It's against the law. So pastor're doing is against the law.

Speaker 1:

So, pastor here, I thought we were talking about the blessing I'm talking about. We are blessed, we're not going to stand for anything less, and that impacts how we vote. It impacts whether we take a bus to Austin and testify on behalf of some of these bills that need to pass, instead of letting the Satanists be there and all the trans people be there screaming at our legislators that we voted, you know, to come do a good job, and they can't even think they're just being assailed and cursed and at and and all of that, and sometimes physically attacked. We ought to be there. We ought to be there to pray and we ought to be there to testify that we need that bill. I'm a citizen, I voted and I'm in favor of this bill. That's before the legislature. We found about church in Fort Worth. They've got five campuses and they bust their, their. They have trained their members to go to Austin. We didn't even know about it till the other day and we found out about boy. They got excited about my God votes. They're going to come along beside us and help us and we're going to meet with them.

Speaker 1:

And Walgreens I don't need you right now, would you please? I can't get off of their call list. I've tried everything I can do. I've texted them, I've called them, I've got online and they still call. That's another Medicare deal. They get paid to check up on me to make sure I'm taking my medication. Anyway, I get paid to check up on me to make sure I'm taking my medication. Anyway, I was interrupted by my Apple watch. I've got to have to start leaving it home.

Speaker 1:

So we uh, we we've mixed faith with what we've heard. We're united by faith. You know the, the amplified says united by faith. Verse verse two, not being mixed with faith. And then that heard it out in my margins because they were not united by faith to it. Your faith makes the word one with what you. You know it makes it, you ingest it. You become what the word says. Are you with me now? You're blessed. I said you're blessed. It won't do any good because it's going to rattle in my ears Bluetooth. I thought I could take my watch off, but it'll still All right.

Speaker 1:

So let's look at Hebrews 4, verse 12. Now we've got four things. Remember when confronted by the giants of this world and the structures they built. They've all built structures. They are giants. They are the spirit of Antichrist. They've invaded our government, every one of theseichrist. They've invaded our government Every one of these letter agencies.

Speaker 1:

I've wrestled with them for years, not knowing what they were, not knowing the source, not understanding what I was wrestling against. Well, I've learned a few things now and I'm really cool with eliminating some of them, because really they're a rebel force out from under the executive branch and not subject to the voter, and yet they can issue proclamations and even laws with the force of law against you and you have no appeal. But that just changed this past Supreme Court session. They got rid of the Chevron rule. The Chevron rule said that that was the truth and they said, nope, nope, they are not independent. They can be sued by individual citizens. Well, who wants to sue a federal agency that's got an endless supply of money and lawyers See. So that's not really the answer. The answer is for the executive branch to take back its power and remove it from these unelected bureaucrats, which is the swamp. That's what the swamp is is the unelected bureaucrats that hold power in the IRS, the CIA, the FBI, the DOJ, all the letter agencies, and you might be able to mess with the top echelon, but you haven't done much until you've cleaned it completely out. And I say that we have power over the antichrist spirit. That's what just happened in this election.

Speaker 1:

So remember, when you're confronted by the giants of this world, there's lots of different giants and giants in the medical field. Texas children's hospital, one of the renowned hospitals in the entire country, was woke and that guy just retired. He's been there 30 some odd years. He allowed that thing to be perverted and turned into gender affirming care there. It's rooted in that place.

Speaker 1:

I never I mean you know what you just you can't believe what's going on in the medical area. It's been taken over by this entire lie and of course we knew it was broken when COVID happened and all the COVID rules. But it it's. It's extended with all this gender, all this gender lie. The whole thing is a lie, every bit of how did doctors practice that and still maintain the Hippocratic oath to do no harm? That's what they swear. They swear I'm going to practice medicine, I'm not going to do harm. And they're doing great harm and the harm they do is permanent. These children that are given these drugs and hormones and, even worse than that, the surgeries. They never recover, never the dye is cast and they're permanent. They're permanent customers for big farmers. That's what's going on.

Speaker 1:

That's what the church, by being weak and not saying these things from the pulpit, not saying anything about it, just well, let's just stick with the Word. Well, the Word has a lot to say about this. Actually, that's why I'm saying it. We're going to smite this thing and you know, I don't know that we're going to win everything back to where it was, but you know what? We're going to stop it from progressing until we can get a harvest out of this wonderful group, the precious fruit of the earth. All right, so remember, when you're confronted by the giants of this world and the structures they've built because there's giants in structure Everybody say giant structures. All right, remember. There's four things I want you to Hebrews, four, and starting with verse 12.

Speaker 1:

For the word of God, it's quick, alive and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword. It pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. So the word of God is alive and powerful. You've got to remember that it's sharper than any two-edged sword. You have a weapon. You have a weapon. It's a two-edged sword. The sword is a medium level. It's not a big long one, it's. It's medium level, like like the Romans would, would wear, and it's two edges. It cuts in both directions. It also can be thrust. So it's got three places where it can do great damage.

Speaker 1:

You know, don't ever underestimate your, the Word of God that you put to work against your giant. Maybe you've got a giant that's been, you've been diagnosed with a disease. It looks like a giant. Maybe it's stage whatever. They didn't used to have stages back in the early days, but now they've got it all divided up and they figure out. You know, they're scientific. They come up with stage three and four. And if you've got stage four and anything, well, they, that's, that's a giant. Well, you know what that giant can fall when you take the word of God. It's, it's sharper than any two edged sword.

Speaker 1:

Praise God, let's. Let's think about the word. It's alive. The Word is not a dead thing, it's a living thing when you launch it. Which brings me to point number two. Remember about the Word. It's alive and powerful.

Speaker 1:

Remember number two, verse 14, seeing, then we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, jesus, the Son of God. Let us hold fast our profession or our confession. So remember that Jesus is our high priest. What does a high priest do? He executes what we speak. He's in charge of making it come to pass, so that once you've spoken the word of God, which is alive and powerful, and you believe it in your heart and you speak it with your constant profession of faith it's not just one time, it's what you continually say, systematic discourse Then all the pressure is on the word. It's not on you any longer. You put all the pressure on the word. The word is the sword, the word is cutting it's, it's being thrust forward, it's, it's slicing in both directions. Glory to God, I'm telling you, the antichrist is on his heels right now, or the spirit of antichrist, I should say All right. Remember number three, verse 15, for we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points like as we are yet without sin. So let's remember that Jesus is touched with the feelings of our infirmity.

Speaker 1:

When you encounter a giant, you have emotions. You can't just act like you don't. We're made with emotions. The emotions are part of our creation. You can have a feeling of fear, you can have a feeling of intimidation, you can have a feeling of grief, you can have a feeling of sadness. That doesn't mean you are grief stricken, because why? You are a spirit, the emotion is where it's in the soul. You can have fear in your mind and faith in your heart.

Speaker 1:

I mean, you know you just have involuntary reactions. I mean, I don't know, I was raised in South Texas. I worked on the oil patch when I was a teenager and you know they've got rattlesnakes down there. You know, you hear a rattlesnake, you start jumping. I do. If I hear it, I start jumping, I start going like this because I don't know where it is, I don't have time to process. Oh, it's got to be 10 feet away. It might be right here under my feet and I'm going to start making a moving target out of it. It might not do any good, but at least I'm doing something. It's involuntary. I mean you. Just you're raised down there and you come across rattlesnakes and you hear them rattle. It sends something up your spine. It gets on the back of your neck. All your hair stands on in. It's just involuntary. It's not that I'm afraid of snakes. I have a healthy respect for what a bite can do to you. Never been bitten and don't intend to be bitten Because never been bitten and don't intend to be bitten Because I'm going to go like this when I hear the rattlesnake. But see, I've got faith in my heart. I might be going like this, but I've got faith in my heart.

Speaker 1:

Don't get all condemned just because you have an emotion. Jesus had all the same emotions with the giants that he faced. You think he faced the cross with no emotion. He wept great drops of blood. He sweat great drops of blood in the emotion. He wept great drops of blood, sweat great drops of blood in the garden. He, you know he wept, he, he sweat. He, you know he had concern. He cried over Lazarus even though he knew he was going to raise him for the dead. He had emotion.

Speaker 1:

It's not wrong to have emotion. It's wrong for emotion to guide you. It's wrong to act on your emotion. Don't allow yourself to have a pity party, don't allow yourself to just, you know, just go on and on and on until you hit the bottom, and all of that. That's not useful. So, what you do, well, you, you know, you, you speak, start speaking the word, and you know that Jesus loves you. He, he knows just how you feel and he knows how to, how to strengthen you in those times when you're tempted in your emotions. Are you with me now and then?

Speaker 1:

Lastly, you know, when I left Gladys at the emergency room and she went into the hospital, got home in the middle of the night after I got the news that she had broken her pelvis and didn't get the news that she'd broken her hip socket, didn't even know that for another month, and that was another time when my emotions hit me. I mean, you know, because you know that's my wife and I own part of like a protector. I mean, you know, I just own that. I mean that's just my role in her life and I there's a certain part of all that that wants to come on me and blame me. It's a grief that comes on me.

Speaker 1:

That night, when I left her, you know, at the hospital, knowing that she'd broken her pelvis and that she had a normal pressure hydrocephalus water on the brain. And I realized how long has that been there and how did we miss that? And you know, you get all of these emotions and you get all this condemnation. The devil is an accuser. He will try to get you to own whatever part of it he can lay on you, to get you to where you will have a pity party or it will hinder your faith. All of that hinders your believing, your faith. And of course, it didn't take me very long to realize what was going on and so I did number four.

Speaker 1:

I came boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy, to find the grace to help me in time. I came boldly. I didn't come barely, I came boldly. See, I come knowing that I belong in his presence. I don't I don't walk on eggshells, I don't go around begging God. No, I come boldly to the throne of grace. See, that's the that's that comes from knowing who I am in Christ. I know. I know that I am the righteousness of God in Christ, that I have a right to make a demand on my covenant for the strength and the grace. What is grace? It's God's ability to do anything. I needed his ability to come on me. I come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain what he said and God cannot not grant me that grace.

Speaker 1:

Are y'all with me now? I mean, we don't get anything by just begging and crying and whining and blubbering and all of that. It's not going to work. That's what we're seeing this beginning this morning. Every day gets better, every day gets better, Every day gets sweeter. Well, god never changes. Who's the one that's changing? You're changing for the good. You're finding out more and more about him. He's revealing more and more of himself and your perception of him is growing and growing. And that's the whole point of this message is for you to realize how blessed you are, how much he wants you to take that blessing and be a blessing. Amen, glory to God. We're blessed and we can't be cursed. Come on, lift your hands today, hallelujah. Oh, glory to God, glory to God. Did you get anything out of this today, hallelujah? Well, several of you did. Amen, let's not patty cake. Come on, let's rejoice. Hallelujah, let's rejoice Now.

Speaker 1:

Next week, I'm going to talk about the hallmarks of the blessing, or you know the characteristics. Really, what it is is is we're stamped and I mentioned this last week. I wear my Aggie ring and it's got a stamp on the inside. It says 10 carat. It's stamped. I know it's actual gold. It's 10 carat. It's not real. You know a lot of gold in it, because if it was 14 carat or above, it just wears out and gets smooth and it loses all the beautiful detail of the ring. But it's stamped. That's how you know something is authentic and we are stamped with the blessing and I want to teach that as we wrap up this series.

Speaker 1:

I want to get this into you going into 2025, because this is a pivotal and a strategic time for the church to rise up, and I want you to rise up in the knowledge of who you are and what you have. Amen, come on, let's lift our hands again. Father, we thank you today. We are blessed and we cannot be cursed. We're blessed to be a blessing, and not just in our neighborhood, not just here, but all over the world. We're a blessing, blessed to impact this world for the gospel. We've got a task ahead of us and we're busy about receiving what we need to do the job. In Jesus' name,
